Exactly the case. Everyone should try airpod pro 2 first and if the tips don�t fit just return it for 4

I using airpods gen 4 non anc. I can say its okay but im planning to buy sony linksbuds S. so i can use easily for multiple devices connected

I have the air pods and they work seamless with both.

If you want something well balanced, probably stick to 3rd gen airpods. Technics az100 excel in sound quality but ANC is not comparable to the best. Bose quietcomfort ultra excel in ANC but sound quality isn't the best. B&W pi8, Noble Fokus Rex 5 is on the top for sound quality but the call quality is bad.

I am really considering the apple headphones but I�m not sure if I can justify �500 for something that I can�t wear as freely as AirPods. I�m quite sweaty and I use my AirPods in the gym and when at work in construction�so realistically they�re going to get a brutal combination of sweat and construction dust daily which will rip them to shreds. My AirPods have received that combination and they�re still going strong after 4 years. I�ve even worn them in the pool�not directly in the water but pretty close. Say what you want about apple but their products last

I've owned the AirPods Pro 2 for 1.5 years. The comfort of in-ears isn't generally the best. And I don't want to have to first press foam and then put them in my ear. It just takes too long when a call comes in. Also, I've always struggled with the left earbud. It just doesn't stay in place, no matter what I do. Unless I use foam or wings. So, without great expectations, I wanted to try the AirPods 4 :). I wouldn't have thought they would be this good. They pleasantly surprised me in every respect. Transparency: The transparent mode is perfect. You really don't notice that you have AirPods in your ear. The clarity is very real thanks to the open design. Your own voice doesn't sound muffled, but also real, without compromise. It's simply perfect for conversations or phone calls. ANC: The ANC mode loses a lot of its effectiveness when cycling. The wind blows through extremely strongly. It's at a different frequency, but it still comes through. The AirPods Pro 2 are the winners here. ANC: On the train and at home, the AirPods 4 are equally good, as in these situations, there are usually no volume levels that the AirPods 4 couldn't handle. On the street with a moving car, the ANC of the Pro is slightly better. But even here, extreme volumes aren't usually expected. In general, it can be said that high tones come through sooner than with the AirPods Pro 2. Comfort (holding is subjective): The AirPods 4 fit perfectly when running and doing strength training. The AirPods Pro always slip out after 1-2 minutes of use on the left side (for me). I'm still trying to find a solution for this. One that doesn't involve fiddling with the foam. I can use the AirPods 4 for low-impact sports. However, for HIIT workouts, I still need wings for safety. I think everyone will be fine. But strength training and charging are no problem at all. Sound: The AirPods Pro clearly outperform in bass. The rest of the sound (mids and highs) are slightly better with the AirPods 4, however. Interestingly, with Wings, they're just as strong. Overall, they sounded even better. Conclusion: The AirPods 4 clearly outperform in transparent mode and comfort. The ANC is better with the Pros in situations like airplanes, airports, train stations, and generally above approximately 30 dB for high-frequency sounds coming from outside. I do miss the bass a bit, but the clarity is great. Although I have to say that the bass in the Pro 2 starts to give me headaches after a while. Now I have to decide. Do I keep both and use the Pro only for cycling and flying? For trains, walks, running, or wherever I might need to have a conversation, should I use the AirPods 4? I'm planning on using only a pair. However, I cycle frequently. Apple has managed to create a second pair of AirPods that do exactly what the AirPods Pro 2 don't do better, but on the other hand, compromises have to be made with the ANC. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences :)

I got tired of my AirPods falling out so I've been bringing my bluetooth JBL speaker with me to the gym. No issues so far.

On a college campus and I can state that it is: (1) AirPods of all different varieties and it isn't even close. Guessing they have > 80% of the earbud market on college campuses. Now for over the ear headphones I'd say it is a split between the Sony CH720N/XM4 vs the Bose QC35 or QC45 vs the Beats Solo 4. Behind these would be the AirPods Max and the JBL Tune 770.

Get any of the AirPods, auto switching and easy controls via the control center works like magic. You won't regret it. Other bluetooth wireless earbuds also work well with Apple products via standard bluetooth but it's not a magically smooth experience.

Big budget - Sony WH1000XM(x) I still have my original MDR1000x and while the mic leaves a lot to be desired, they're amazing for music and blocking out the outside world. Find a new old stock on sale. Barring that, Bose, Sennheiser, pick your poison/price point, unless you love Apple, then the Airpods Pro2 are amazing for this if you like in-ear. Max if you hate everyone. Airpods4 with ANC are honestly fine for office environments if you have some music going, if you hate over/in ear stuff. If you're on a budget, the Anker ANC stuff is shockingly good for the price, both in sound quality and NC ability. Not 'no music on a plane of crying babies' good, but definitely good enough for an office.

It probably is, if the 2 pros block less noise then the 4�s they either got nerfed to make the 4�s look good, or they are broken.

yeah I've blindly bought the latest Airpods as long as I can remember but this is the first time i've had to return mine due to sound quality and poor fit....something I never had an issue with before.

Case is not the most durable, but my god the buds are virtually unbreakable. They finally gave up when I drove one of them over with my car. They've been in the washing machine, thrown around in bags, used in the gym almost daily, dropped 100s of times... I'd say they are an essential part of my life and even if the price went 2x I'd still buy them.

For me, it�s AirPods for calls and the Sony over the other headphones for everything else. Maybe some beats if you want to have volume while you�re at the gym, but I don�t want noise cancellation from your earbuds, and I want over the ear headphones to be what I would want on a plane and listening to music in a coffee shop. Also, for what it�s worth, I recently realized I could add AppleCare to my AirPods for like 15 bucks a year, and I have no clue that it ever ends.

I cannot for the life of me use the touch sensors on my AP'2s and it's pissed me off to the point o went back to my Galaxys. Comfort and battery life are there but using the touch features is much to be desired.

+1 for memory foam tips. My AirPods stay put through anything short of the stems being directly physically manipulated.

Came from the 2s to the 3s and i love them, more punch and bass. Also clearer Vocals and Instruments, the airpods pro 2 were really muffeld in sound. Also the 3 sits very good in my ears and have a very nice seal, so anc is even better and also transparency mode works slightly better. I couldnt get the Airpods pro 2 to really fit 100 % in my ears, they always came a little bit losse when walking or working out.

No problem. You'll def some decent ones at that price point that's have anc but you'll have to bump that music all the way up to block out the sound. If you got anything there it's usually just a shit load of features only Sony xm5 Bose an airpods got you on anc

The ANC is very impressive.� Very useful for those of us with sensory issues and reacting to the silicone tips.�

The 4s have really good ANC. But it's not as good as APP2 or APP3. source: I have them all. The APPs silicon tips sometimes hurt my ears so I got the 4s. The 4 has great sound, battery and ANC. But I mean, it's open ear design still allows some noise in. If it's all about ANC for you, I'd find a way to get the pro 2 or pro 3. If ANC is just part of your list but not a major requirement, the 4s will do you good. And yes, 3 ANC is noticeably better then 2. Edit: one more thing, I hate that the 4s don't have volume adjust on the stem. Annoying when your phone is tucked away somewhere. Just something to remember.

I finally decided to get a pair of Bose quiet comfort earbuds. They initially worked for like 30 minutes and then stopped working. I�ve sent them back today. People may not like to hear this but if you have an iPhone, the best earbuds are the AirPods second generation.

Pros sound better I have them and don�t use them much (sometimes when I�m outside for an hour or two). I just hate the feeling with silicone tips inside my ears (tried different brands and it was the same or worse). I loved AirPods 2,3 and now just bought 4s with ANC (actually haven�t unpacked yet). I also really like Samsung LiveBuds - I think those are much better than people say.

they are not a true replacement for ear plugs or muffs but do work surprisingly well for some stuff.

I have used the Airpods 4 without ANC and I currently use the Airpods Pro 3. To the average person, both will sound very similar. The Airpods Pro 3 have more bass but when looking at the price, the Airpods 4 is more worth it. For me I also found the Airpods 4 more comfortable than the Airpods Pro 3 but the ANC and bass is making me want to keep it.

Yes depending on the noise level, or just drowning out annoying background noise like fans/blowers

I really want these but my AirPods 3 are still going strong and I have Sony XM4 over ear for noise cancelling. Would be nice to have noise cancelling earbuds for cutting the grass, or not having to lug the XM4 on my work commute. Decisions� Also worried about wide reports of the ANC breaking overtime due to the microphones getting clogged.

People might complain about the prices of Apple products, but I feel like the AirPods are actually completely worth every single penny. I�ve gotten thousands of hours of use out of mine over the years and they are the one thing that I use every single day. Best value proposition of all time.

I would just get a new pair of air pods. I love mine. having the noise cancellation is handy when in louder areas. not to mention how seamlessly they work with your iphone.

I just unpacked and tested my 4s with ANC. They are pretty awesome sounding for my ears. Even ANC seems to work somehow - impressive. If anything - they may have a bit too much bass for my liking. Especially in dialogue.

Apple Airpods 4 works for me. That's lifting, running, and shooting hoops. Never an issue.

For just listening to music I'll take my Sennheiser True Momentum 4 earbuds over the Apple AirPods everyday of the week. Now if you want to talk about seamless integration and if spatial audio floats your boat for video/movies get the Airpods. But they aren't the best sound quality for the money that I've used.

Airpods have the same latency on a Steam Deck or any other PC as your galaxy buds for the same reason. They will both be using the SBC codec with precisely the same performance.

I take the Eearpads out of my SandBox helmet cause who needs em and I use my Apple AirPod

Those and the Pros also charge on Apple Watch chargers if you have one too

Just in case you didn�t know, when you�re connected to the AirPods, you can swipe down to get to the command center and hard press the headphone volume icon and toggle between noise cancellation, transparency mode etc. super fast/easy

They�re excellent! Much better than the AirPods 3 and the ANC is way better than I had expected. Of course the Pro�s can do ANC way better, but they are doing a good job. Plus less stressful for some ears.
