agree with this. i switched to open-ear too. i’ve been using the soundpeats clip style for indoor runs, stays in place and i can still hear people around me. honestly think open-ear works better for running in general.
r/beginnerrunning • Any earbuds that don’t slip when running? Sweat keeps knocking mine loose. ->I always have my Bose open ultra to fall back on and the cheapo Haylou Airfree for ‘can get wet and die’
r/Earbuds • What are your favourite clip / cuff style buds and why? ->The AeroClips. More comfortable than the Bose (but those sound a bit better). Also got the Soundpeats Pearlclips, because I found them for like $18, not bad, surprisingly good for side sleeping.
r/Earbuds • What are your favourite clip / cuff style buds and why? ->The pearlclip pro are high on my list )also coz I see them here for $20 refurb)
r/Earbuds • What are your favourite clip / cuff style buds and why? ->I have the liberty 4 pro and a couple of soundpeats buds , my advice is get the soundpeats of your main priority is top tier audiophile level sound quality the sound quality on that is peak and then get the earfun air 4 pro if you want an overall good earbud with Anc ,transparency and other features then the earfun is the best option. I wouldn't really recommend the liberty 4 nc as it's quite old . A few other personal recommendations would be the OnePlus buds 3 pro or the liberty 4 pro ( chck out the OnePlus buds 4 aswell)
r/Earbuds • I'm confused between three options. Which one would you recommend? ->Soundpeats Pearl Clip Pro is my go to recommendation lately on clip style buds if you don’t want to spends big money on the Bose Ultra Open. For a bit more the Soundcore Aerofit 2 has better sounds and works well for me even though I wear glasses.
r/Earbuds • Open-ear earbuds ->The soundpeats breezy and Pearl Clip Pro also have decent bass.
r/Earbuds • Are there any open earbuds that have clear sound quality while also having good bass? ->If you want open clips like the Bose ultra open but don’t want to spend that much I suggest the Soundpeats Pearl Clip pro. The sound is almost as good and the price is usually less than $40 usd.
r/beginnerrunning • Which headphones do you use for RUNNING? ->Soundpeats pearl clip pro would be my recommendation for under $100 - less than $50 actually.
r/Earbuds • Best Clip-On Earbuds - SMALL Ears ->I have the Pearl Clip Pro and the Pop Clip. The Pearl is a really good clip style bud. The sound is full with decent bass and it works well for calls. The Pop is only better in that it has a physical button control and is slightly more comfortable. I recommend the Pearl.
r/Earbuds • Best Clip on Earbuds to buy today ->The Bose are great for low volume high quality music. If you don’t want to pay that much the Soundcore Aerofit 2 is my next choice, followed by the Soundpeats Pearl clip, the Earfun Openjump, the Tozo O2 and, the cheapest option, the Soundpeats Breezy.
r/bose • Are open air buds any good? ->The Bose ultra open is my favorite low volume listening experience and its immersive sound mode is superior to all other spatial type settings. Its only weaknesses are call quality and maybe battery life. I bought mine refurbished for $190 so take that into account. The Pearl Clip and the Soundcore Aerofit 2 are very close in sound quality. The Earfun Openjump is the most comfortable with a very long battery life. Whichever one you buy, you will probably be pleased with.
r/bose • Are open air buds any good? ->I have a pair and love them as well! Out of the open earbud category they for me have the best sound that being said for 30 bucks the Sound Pete's Pearl pro are pretty damn good! If you're just curious if this design would work for you you may start with something like that as it's not such a hard impact on the pocket. The sound quality is comparable I think the Bose has a better low end but overall they're both very comfortable!
r/bose • Bose ultra open earbuds ->What about open ears like the new Soundpeats pearl pro. I just got a voucher for half price so thought I'd try them for gym and running. Can always sell them if they aren't what I want, but I've heard good things. Don't like transparency mode on my earbuds.
r/Earbuds • Earbuds for running that let you hear traffic but muffles out louder traffic noises? Can't be Apple ->They are great apart from where there is really loud noise. I was listening to a podcast and couldn't hear it will right next to a fast moving main road. The sound is very good though and the bass surprisingly good when you get used to placement. Very comfy too...totally forget I'm wearing them.
r/Earbuds • Earbuds for running that let you hear traffic but muffles out louder traffic noises? Can't be Apple ->I really like the soundpeats pearl pros. They are open style buds and have great sound. Very affordable also.
r/S25Ultra • Whats the best headphones and earbuds for s25 and also im using iphone as well. ->I really like the soundpeats Pearl clips. They hook on your ear, are cheap and have a great sound.
r/Earbuds • Cheap earbuds that are not in ear? ->Agree ??. Bonus, keep an eye on them, I got my second pair for $25 on sale a couple months ago.
r/Earbuds • Cheap earbuds that are not in ear? ->The Pearlclip Pro was another one I tested. I think they're great for the price, and actually have better functionality than either the Aeroclip or the Opendots One (low latency mode, more control options with single-taps, etc). However, I found the Aeroclip to sound significantly better and they feel more secure on my ears. If I were to advise anybody on what to buy out of what I tested, I'd say to buy the Aeroclip if money is no object, and the Pearlclip Pro if you don't have much to spend.
r/Earbuds • Shokz Opendots One. ->Bought that one for my hubby and i don't know if panget lang yung unit na nakuha namjn pero laging hanggang 40 mins lang yan tumatagal tapos nawawala na. Parang nakailang run pa lang siya gamjt yan tapos ngayon totally hindi na nagbubukas or nagchacharge. Take note, nung Christmas ko lang binili yan

I just opened the box and have been bumping along for two hours. You can't beat these for $40!!!
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Pearl Clips sound good for this type. Pop Clip are lighter and more comfortable They have mechanical control buttons too but not as much bass.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →You'll be giving up some bass for the comfort but both of the soundpeats clips are comfortable and good for casual music listening. Pearls are a little bigger and heavier but have a bit more bass. Pops have mechanical button controls that are more precise than the Pearl's touch controls. Good for switching to calls and devices.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →The Bose are great for low volume high quality music. If you don’t want to pay that much the Soundcore Aerofit 2 is my next choice, followed by the Soundpeats Pearl clip, the Earfun Openjump, the Tozo O2 and, the cheapest option, the Soundpeats Breezy.
r/bose • View on Reddit →I also have Galaxy buds FE! If you liked the ANC there then you should be quite content with both 4NC and Buds 6 pro because in my feeling they have better ANC than Galaxy Buds FE. If you have any questions regarding any other earbuds I also have open earbuds of Soundpeats Pearclip Pro and they sound great haha
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →The Bose ultra open is my favorite low volume listening experience and its immersive sound mode is superior to all other spatial type settings. Its only weaknesses are call quality and maybe battery life. I bought mine refurbished for $190 so take that into account. The Pearl Clip and the Soundcore Aerofit 2 are very close in sound quality. The Earfun Openjump is the most comfortable with a very long battery life. Whichever one you buy, you will probably be pleased with.
r/bose • View on Reddit →Try the Soundpeats Perl clip pro. Use dynamic eq mode. They don’t cancel any noise though, I think you are stuck with AirPods 4 anc or galaxy buds 3 if you want any sort of effective anc in that form factor.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I like the Soundpeats Perl clip pro with the dynamic mode on, but the battery life stinks. Sounds better than the aerofit 2 though, which costs like 4x the price.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →May I ask which how would you compare those to eardun openjump about sound quality? I have pearl clip pro and love the sound signature very clear full sound but for me they are uncomfortable.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →They’re really good! Positioning on the ear is critical but the result is worth it, even if it annoys the crap out of my mid-upper piercings getting settled but once positioned the sound quality is more than just acceptable. Now keep in mind I’m comparing them to my Sony XM5s, Beats Fit Pros and AirPods Pro and while they don’t quite have the robust bass those have, the bass in the PearlClips is pretty decent. I absolutely recommend them to anyone.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →soundpeats pearlclip! They do look a bit bulky but they sit pretty flush. way lighter than they look.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Does anyone know the price point of these? I got an email from SoundPeats for 35% off and says I can save $52… That seems like a pretty high amount for SoundPeats. I’ve had the TrueEngine 3 SE, Air3 Deluxe, PopClip and PearlClip Pro and will still probably get these if they’re $150 but was just curious.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Soundpeats Pop Clip and Baseus Bowie MC1 are similar in sound, fit, price and both have mechanical buttons instead of touch. I have and like both for podcasts, audiobooks, calls and casual music. Not sure which I prefer. Maybe the Soundpeats are a bit louder. Either are worth a try. Soundpeats PearlClip Pro are good too. Thicker and heavier. Better for music. Touch controls that aren't as precise. Look for deals. I haven't tried the new Soundcores because they're over $100. This type will never be that good for music so I stay cheap.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I was listening to some jazz with the Pearl Clips yesterday. They do have more low end oomph.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I got some soundpeats pearlclips for around $35 from aliexpress. Check for coupons.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →If you want open clips like the Bose ultra open but don’t want to spend that much I suggest the Soundpeats Pearl Clip pro. The sound is almost as good and the price is usually less than $40 usd.
r/beginnerrunning • View on Reddit →I have the pearlclip pros and love them except the battery life and got an order of Clip 1s on the way. The fit is perfect for me as I have larger ears and the other clip ons I have fit too snug in comparison. And I just noticed the case is large lol
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Yeah the Perl clip is one hell of a value, especially with a discount. They sound more natural and better overall than my aerofit 2, for like 1/3rd the price. Sure they don’t rumble (if the bass is boosted, you can feel it a bit) and push as much air as the soundcore, but they sound much better.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Bought that one for my hubby and i don't know if panget lang yung unit na nakuha namjn pero laging hanggang 40 mins lang yan tumatagal tapos nawawala na. Parang nakailang run pa lang siya gamjt yan tapos ngayon totally hindi na nagbubukas or nagchacharge. Take note, nung Christmas ko lang binili yan
r/PHRunners • View on Reddit →yeah totally agree, open-ear’s kinda a trade-off. i use my pearlclips the same way, mostly for city walks or working at the desk. not really for audiophile moments but they keep me aware and comfy.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I really like the soundpeats Pearl clips. They hook on your ear, are cheap and have a great sound.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Agree ??. Bonus, keep an eye on them, I got my second pair for $25 on sale a couple months ago.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I considered the PearlClips but at $79.99 CAD they're more money than I wanted to spend right now even with the online coupon, sadly. Those, the Soundcore AeroClips, or absolutely ideally the Bose Ultra Opens are going to be a future purchase, like on Prime Days or the Black Friday sales if the cheaper ones work well enough for my current purposes. Thank you for mentioning them, though!
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I ordered two pairs of these shokz. One came in today and I have to agree with you about the sound. I'm really not as impressed I thought I'll be. The ones I've been using the most have been the soundpeats pearl pro. The shokz do sound a bit more clear but it's missing something. It sound like it's missing the mid-range or something. I've been playing with the EQ to see if I can adjust but I'm not overall impressed considering these were roughly $150 more. I ordered a set of Aeroclips. I can get a pair for $75 shipped so why not try them out.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I bought the pearlclips as well just to try open ear buds without breaking the bank. I really like them when indoors/office and when walking/cycling in the city. Over ear headphones are too closed of for me to the point of feeling disorienting. And transparency mode is hit and miss. More miss. With this open style I can keep being aware of my surroundings while still enjoying decent enough music and taking calls. Also more comfortable (subjective) for longer wear compared to over ears, which get hot, and buds jammed in the ear canal. That being said, with even the slightest traffic noise most frequencies are drowned out so definitely downside if you really want to enjoy music. Also for flights or longer train rides the ANC capabilities of over ears or in ears are by far the better choice.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →soundpeats pearlclip. my gym go-to. doesn’t budge on jumps and squats. open ear clip so sweat won’t roast my ears. plus sound’s clean and punchy. under $100, easy rec.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Yeah np! I hope you like them, just don’t expect much subbass. It does have midbass though, so you’ll get some thump.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I have the Pearl Clip Pro and the Pop Clip. The Pearl is a really good clip style bud. The sound is full with decent bass and it works well for calls. The Pop is only better in that it has a physical button control and is slightly more comfortable. I recommend the Pearl.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →Thanks for the review. I also bought this earbuds as the birthday gift for my daughter before. I agree with your fair and objective viewpoint. Based on my personal experience, my satisfaction with the comfort and sound quality of these earbuds is the same as yours. I already own in-ear earbuds with better sound quality, so I didn't have high expectations for this type of open-type earbuds. However, their sound quality still impressed me. They offer me definitely high quality sound. It's more of a thick, punchy, pushing more air sound. Plenty of bass too, and very comfortable. In terms of wearing experience, due to my small ears, many in-ear earphones fail to fit securely on my ears, whereas these earbuds provide a comfortable wearing experience that doesn’t cause any discomfort even after wearing them all day. The adjustable memory foam and silicone coating left a deep impression on me. This is why I’ve already purchased a pair and plan to buy another pair for my daughter.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →I’ve tried the Soundpeats Pearlclip Pro, and I have small ears too! They fit pretty snug for me, but it really depends on the shape of your ears. I’d say they’re more on the comfortable side, but if you’re looking for a super tight fit, they might feel a little loose. Worth a try if you’re into a lightweight, comfy design.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →The AeroClips. More comfortable than the Bose (but those sound a bit better). Also got the Soundpeats Pearlclips, because I found them for like $18, not bad, surprisingly good for side sleeping.
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →That's interesting Itchy. Maybe I have a bad pair in that regard, but I definitely see more of a delay / latency with the Pearlclip Pros than a couple of the other earbuds I have on my shelf when watching videos (can't comment on the games). For me, this latency and their mic / call quality are their two downsides. But despite this, I love them for both their comfort and function...let alone their great price!
r/Earbuds • View on Reddit →This is going to be my full review of the Soundpeats PearlClip Pro. *Scroll down to find out more :)* **DISCLAIMER: Soundpeats sent this pair out for me to review. Everything said in the review will be my own, honest, and unbias opinion towards the pair. Soundpeats had no say in what should be in the review or not and they did not have preview to this review either.** **NOTE: This review and most of the ratings will be different with no correlation to my standard in ear/semi in ear reviews because these are clip-on earbuds)** These PearlClip Pro are currently priced at around 49.99 discounted from 59.99 with an extra 20% coupon available. **Every part/category is labeled in bold so just scroll around if you want.** **(7.5/10) UNBOXING:** The box is decently compact and light. There isn’t anything negative with the box, its simple and clean. The box is made of paper/cardboard and the outside highlights the key features of the pair. Once you open the box, the earbuds are placed in the center. Things Included in box * USB C Cable * A manual * Soundpeat Stickers https://preview.redd.it/yopt1svak6ke1.jpg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f243807767c7728c0eb965d0fb2ddc732b09d4a4 **(8.5/10) FEATURES:** * **BT 5.4** * **Multipoint** * **APP Compatibility** * **IPX5** * **Spatial Audio** * **Auto Left/Right Channel Adaptation** For a clip on style TWS like these PearlClip Pro, they have solid features at this price point but similar to the competition. My favorite feature has to be the channel adaption which means I don’t have to worry about which bud goes into which side of the case so it’s easier to take in and out. Somethings that could have been added to the features set could have been google fast pair or a hi res codec. In ear detection also could have been added but I understand it’s extremely difficult for clip-on earbuds to achieve this because of the way they can be worn differently and taken off differently. Nonetheless, still solid when it comes to feature set. **(7/10) BUILD QUALITY/COMFORT:** The material is made from hard plastic and with a shiny/glossy finish that seems to be quite scratch resistant. The overall build isn’t terrible, it has a strong hinge and looks decently premium to the eye however the case is very light which may be a plus or negative for someone. Comfort-wise, they stay on fine when stationary. However, they are on the larger side for clip-on earbuds, so for my small ears, they kept falling off during running or exercise. But, I feel like I could wear these for hours without any issues which is good for those who don’t like anything in ear. https://preview.redd.it/2ls2ksmjl6ke1.jpg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cd6094457df64d01b5f1c86f2ac3242adb5eda7 https://preview.redd.it/ejh1x5tll6ke1.jpg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ba613c5a48325d994ec4c121ed01af0418627c7 **(7.5/10) CONTROLS:** These are controlled via touch controls. There is single tap, double tap, triple tap, and long hold. In my opinion, these respond well to touch, however, they had a tendency to activate touch controls randomly on my ear which made me disable them in the app (but I noticed this may only be a me problem because of the way my ear is shaped). Also keep in mind, they don’t have touch feedback for a touch but they have endless touch customizability in the app for single tap, double tap, triple tap, and long hold. https://preview.redd.it/zfjet3r1m6ke1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=600fcbbd41f5baf26155c544df998041f3ee31d1 **(6.75/10) APP:** Soundpeats app (PeatsAudio) has been notorious for being glitchy and outright broken. But I do think they improved on it since the last time I entered the app when using the Capsule 3 Pro Plus (for example response time to everything is faster). But you still need to have WiFi to access the controls of the earbuds which most other companies app’s don’t need. In the app, it comes with the functions of EQ presets and custom EQ. Custom controls schemes as well as being able to disable touch controls. There is “spacial audio” as Soundpeats calls it but in the app it shows up as “‘Movie Mode” which just adds some special sound effects like echo/reverb and also moves the overall sound in front of you. There is also a game mode which actually surprised me because it seemed to reduce more latency than some other TWS I've used (Tested in AAC. Game mode off: 150 ms, Game mode on: 95-110 ms). Another feature or EQ option is dynamic EQ which brings out the best this pair can sound. Overall sound becomes more lively (I’ll get more into this in the sound category). https://preview.redd.it/bti944z7m6ke1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=e4db389ad00557231aaa52adf4951e37b1c41419 https://preview.redd.it/hyb8tte8m6ke1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f04e6ac9929aa31a39c38734e4ebad405026c2e https://preview.redd.it/jn0ufb29m6ke1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=23c5795b22d6154b6d2b64678c6853f1c77196ba **(7.5/10) BATTERY LIFE:** For a clip-on style earbud in this price point, I think the battery life is a win. In my testing, I get a solid 7 hours and 5 minutes (without Dynamic EQ) which is way more advertised than the 6 hours playback but Soundpeats may have tested these with louder volumes. Compared to other buds, these triumph the QCY Crossky C30 and Jlab Flex in battery life but there are better options out there such as the TOZO OpenEarRing which got 9 hours in my testing. **(9/10) SOUND QUALITY: (before you flame me because of the rating, I am basing the sound quality of these compared to other cheaper and more expensive clip-on earbuds. These ratings would be completely different if it was compared to a in ear earbud)** These Soundpeats PearlClip Pro are equipped with one 12 mm dual magnetic driver in each bud. I tested these in the Dynamic EQ mode which is enabled by default. For an open style earbud, these genuinely surprised me with their overall performance in sound at this price point. With them being open style, these have an immense, airy, and expansive soundstage. These are focused more on the mids and treble when it comes to overall sound tuning but for me, they do it better than the competitors. Treble is crisp and is more cleaned up, less distorted as well (at higher volumes), when compared to the likes of the Soundcore C30i or the QCY Crossky C30. However, I think some may find the treble to be too harsh or sibilant. The mids on this pair are decent, male vocals sound decently warm and female vocals in the upper mids seem energetic. Clarity could be better as they can sound muffled at times when listening to tracks that aren’t mixed as well (but maybe im just nitpicking). Something surprising is the bass, it isn’t lacking in any way and it seems to hit more “deep” as in you can feel more rumble in your eardrum than other options out there but still no where near earbuds with silicone eartips. Something else I noticed that imaging could be better and separation takes a hit when listening to music with more instruments and vocals as they can get a little messy at times. Also not to mention but without Dynamic EQ, these will sound lifeless and boring with a lack of bass as well. IMHO, these Soundpeats PearlClip Pro are probably the best I’ve heard in this under $50 price category when it comes to this style of earbuds. **VERDICT:** OVERALL SCORE: (7.71/10) These are one of the best clip-on earbuds in this price category especially when it comes to price to performance in sound quality and feature set (don't quite me on this because I haven't tested ALL the clip-on earbuds in this price point but I have tested most of them). The only issues that I faced while testing these were the size of the buds being larger than some competitors out there (or I just have small ears) and how the app still needs some work around the corners. I love the way that Soundpeats is going with these clip on earbuds as they provide more options to the people out there with more sensitive ears at an affordable price point. *ask me some other questions in the comments if you need help and also this is the first time I’ve written a review for a clip-on earbud so it will different from my others on my page. Also what do you guys think I should improve on in future reviews for these types of clip-on earbuds?*
