i have enco x3i. anc is amazing. i ride train every weekend. no complain from my wife. we usually on call for 6 hours while i was on train. my voices are clear but huawei freebuds pro 4 is better. trains noise factor is higher than busy street noise. oppo enco x3i = oneplus buds 3 (same product just different name) i bought huawei for 127usd and oppo for 67usd. i have also use others such as buds fe, liberty 4 nc. not good, voices are not clear. buds fe received very high rating for phone calls in rtings.com, but imho avoid, its bad. i bought 2, believing online review are dependable. on my search for clear call, now i owns, 2x buds fe, enco x3i, liberty 4 nc, buds pro, fiio utws5, 2x huawei freebuds pro 4. (so far huawei 0 complain) ??

I have used the Nothing Ear 2024 for about 6 months, and they are very good but not amazing in this area. I have now switched to a pair of Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 and the noise suppression and voice isolation in noisy environments in top tier. But Nothing works better with MS Teams if this is important for you

Yeah, it works, but it’s kinda weird. When I first got the FreeBuds Pro 4 that option wasn’t available, but for some reason in the past few days spatial audio (at least on Apple Music) has been working fine with Dolby Atmos. So yeah, you can use it, but you can’t turn it on from the AI Life app.

U r gonna have to fork in some money, if you want some above average anc n other features. Anker soundcore liberty 5, I c some seller s selling comparatively cheaper prices.  Other one I would recommend is bose qc 2024. This is budget version of bose earbuds. This is not that cheap. These earbuds are like, you get what you pay for. Bose qc 2024 I got promotional offers, plus vouchers cashback offers whatnot discounts. Amongst all the earbud products, bose qc 2024 is in top 6 earbuds anc. Battery life is longer than bose flagship qc earbuds. Other functions, transparency all very good.it had wear detection, other very good features. When i move to other earbuds then I notice how lacking other earbuds are in features and how seamless it is in bose qc 2024 In HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, you will have  the similar kind of issue that you had with cmf. Hwawei freebuds pro 4 is the good one. Again this is the best product in Hwawei lineup, and also the most expensive

I have the same issue with the AirPods Pro 2 and I have now a different buds for biking (I live in NL, so it is quite a lot). I used 2 different models and both do a great job: * soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC which is budget friendly * Huawei HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 Both do a good job with the wind, but Huawei buds is way better in terms of sound quality.

3 sets is not even a starter collection yet lol Ive got about 12 pairs of tws and another 10 sets of iems. I daily an iPhone, Ive got 2 androids, a razr 60 ultra, Xperia 10vii and I use 2 android based daps. I write reviews of tws for private companies and can keep sets at very steep discounts. Different buds for different uses. Gemini 2, Rex5, ZX1, and Freebuds Pro 4 are my basshead sets for edm and trance. Ive got several sets of open and clip style buds for long term comfort wear. Current favorites are the Free Clip and Cleer Arc 3. Then randoms for specific tasks. My AirPod Pro 2 is great for dictation and phone calls. I use moondrop space travel, liberty 4 pro, raycon fitness, and aviot q3 for casual music with lots of podcasts, news, and NBA games. My nicer iem sets include ThieAudio Hype 4, Dunu Davinci, FF Deuces, and Madoo 512s mainly all using an ibasso dx180.

I just got these a week ago. I saw this post before choosing them and it helped me decide, so thanks for that! Overall I am very happy with them. The mic for phone calls and calls at work is awesome! Music and podcasts sound good as well. I find the battery a little bit weaker than my old Soundcore Life P3, but other than that they are great! I got them on offer for 120 eur in Europe.

Take at look at the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4. They blow both of those out of the water. I have all 3. The sound on the Libertys is ok you need some tight tips to seal in order to get good bass. The Freebuds sounds ridiculously good for the price. My current favorite, I have like 12 sets of different buds.

If call clarity and background noise cancellation are your top priorities, two of the best performers right now are the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds (Gen 2) and the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4. The Bose QC Ultras have excellent mic processing that filters out even heavy background chatter while keeping your voice natural, and the FreeBuds Pro 4 use bone-conduction and MEMS mics that do an incredible job of isolating speech, even in places like airports or cafés.

I don't know why no one suggested Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3/4 or FreeBuds Clip. If calls are the priority, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3/4 are the best choice.

I can vouch for this. Had Jabra Elite 7 and 10s and now use the FreeBuds Pro 4 for earbuds, mainly for calls. I also have the Bose Quiet comfort and Sony WH-1000XM5 over the ear headphones. Call quality with FreeBuds Pro 4 is by far the best and essentially the same as using my phone directly. Highly recommend these if call quality is your main concern.

You could get away with excessive tuning using an aftermarket EQ app like poweramp to make mediocre buds sound great, but it takes a lot of time to fine tune them to your liking. For what you want, tons of features and sounds great out of the box. My top 3 would be the Technics AZ100, Bose QC Ultra, and the Huawei Freebuds 4 Pro. If you had asked this half a year ago, answers would have been totally different. For $200, the Huawei sound phenomenal, good amount of volume, huge bass and clarity, overall good battery life, anc, and transparency. They sometimes sound as good as my $550 Gemini 2s. I have a set of the Noble Rex5s which cost even more and I totally think they are overhyped. Wasn't at all impressed, they sound exactly like the Aviot Zx1 at half the price.

It all depends what you want from the earbuds, for me is call quality and a good sound. Huawei Freebuds pro 4 are the best in ANC and taking calls outdoor + good sound and wireless charging. It all depends in what you are looking for in earbuds.

Huawei Freebuds Pro 4/3/2 - if you often have calls in windy places then 3 or 4, otherwise 2 is acceptable and you might see very low prices, and 4 if you have a reasonably recent Huawei/Honor phone - it has a new codec with twice the quality/bandwidth of LDAC.

On the high end, I have the Sony XM5 and Huawei Freebuds Pro 4. These days, I find myself reaching for the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 so often that it's now my de facto buds. Sound: Super balanced—I'm on the "Balanced" preset and never had to tweak the EQ. I mostly listen to indie rock, pop, folk and soul. Hated the sound at first, as they were muddy, but all it took was to increase the volume to a 7/10 and it just unleashed the soundstage. I'd say it's def better than the Airpods Pro 2, but won't beat the Sony XM5. Comfort: Very comfortable. No complaints. Aside from clip type earbuds, these are the only in-ear buds I'll gladly wear all day. Battery: 4-5 hours on LDAC with ANC on (I'm always on LDAC). Probably longer on when using AAC. ANC: Amazing. I like the ANC on the XM5 better (I grew up with Sony's ANC ever since the NW-S705F so it's very hard to get rid of the preference), but this FBP4 comes very, very close, and on par to the Sony's when using the foam tips. I sometimes just use the ANC just to block noise. Mic quality: The best call quality, bar none. I took a call at the gym where it was extremely noisy with loud music pumping. People tell me my voice sounds natural as if I was using my phone's mic. In these conditions, my voice will sound "robotic" or intelligible on other buds. That silly commercial Huawei made where a guy took a business call at a concert wasn't farfetched. Controls: Versatile, and more importantly responsive — touch, pinch, swipe. The bad: lacks spatial audio which I personally do not use.

for best earbuds mic HUAWEI FreeBuds 6i (cheapest) to HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 (on the expensive side). for fit you got to experiment with all the eartips given with the earbuds, i am sure even with small ear you will find a excellent fit. Sony WF-C710N , mic MAYBE you have to bring one earbud near your mouth from your ear while talking, if you really want that good mic. it is one of the cheapest sony products, it is also super light and small with v good battery.

Huawei has decent ANC not so strong, but good sound clarity with superior and unbeatable microphone quality. I haven't used Airpods pro 2 as I am an Android user, so can't comment on them. But I guess they are better compared to Huawei if you are in Apple ecosystem.

I got the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 one week ago after watching a lot of reviews where everybody said that they have the best microphone. They were right! I was using them for Teams and phone calls and they were right! I had phone calls in very loud environments and they are doing some magic filtering my voice. They are very nice overall! Very good sound, very nice features, the only downside that I found is they have a little bit too short battery life. But overall I am happy with them!

u/beatschubser: It's interesting that you mention the Huawei FreeBuds Pro2s. I have th FreeBuds Pro4s and they have some really clear deep bass and are just well tuned all around. The active noise cancelling is pretty darn good too. They are one of my favorite earbuds to listen to and I have all the high buds that were just mentioned. Installing the AI Life App that accompanies it is a pain (a must to tweak the sound) and obtain software updates though (U.S region not recognized due to previous export sanctions imposed on Huawei). However, someone on Reddit posted installation workarounds and it worked perfect for me.
