https://www.razer.com/ca-en/streaming-cameras/razer-kiyo?srsltid=AfmBOoql0ES1W7gtheiNxwOEvdCjewZVcZccgi4_vPd8nu8CLuJYHggz Mostly because it was fairly inexpensive and has its own ring light...
r/WeddingPhotography • Not really a photo question, but those who have a dedicated webcam for meetings that clips/attaches to their monitor (possibly with a light). What are you using? ->I have a razer kiyo pro with nvidia broadcast. it works pretty well and the price is fair.
r/Twitch • Which face cam should I get as a beginner streamer? ->I have and use that exact camera. It works perfectly fine, but may need some tuning in windows settings since it's naturally quite wide angle, even on the narrow setting. I had some issues with Razer software, but it's been a while. There's probably better options out there, but it works.
r/starcitizen • FOIP players- Is this Razer a good choice? Other suggestions? ->Razer Kiyo Pro works great via the usb c to usb a cable straight into the dock of the Nintendo Switch 2
r/NintendoSwitch2 • Switch 2 USB Webcam Test Results - All four webcams I tried worked ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

I use a Logitec C920 and a Razer Kiyo Pro for my streams. I use the Kiyo for my face cam because it's a sharper webcam than the c920. Though with my weak PC I have to scale it down a bit because if you have the processor power to drive it, it'll take it. Both are modestly priced cameras.
r/obs • Any Good Webcams in 2025 That Aren’t Washed Out? ->I can run the Kiyo Pro at full speed, but if I do much else it causes it to get a bit laggy. However I have a mid range computer with a really old GPU. Fully driven the Kiyo Pro is probably the cleanest mid-tier webcam I've seen. 1080p@60fps is looks sharp as hell.
r/obs • Any Good Webcams in 2025 That Aren’t Washed Out? ->I have one of these. The problem is there’s no razer software to configure it on the mac. So I can’t configure the video like I can in Windows.
r/macmini • Best webcam for the Mac mini Pro ->there‘s actually a huge difference between 1080p and 4k, even if it‘s just for a small camera. ever since i switched to the facecam 4k, i‘d definitely not switch back. just more details, more you can do with it. i highly recommend the cam. i used a razer kiyo pro before but it‘s night and day what you can do with the facecam
r/Twitch • Camera similar to iPhone 11 Pro Quality at 1080p 60 FPS? ->Razr Kiyo It's great. Has a ring light and.mic if needed. Though the mic isn't great. I use it for meetings and streaming. I got made fun of during the panini for having a 4k camera when everyone else was in pixilated jail at work.
r/EDH • What Webcam do you use for playing over Spelltable? ->I use the razr kiyo, steelseries arctis pro wireless headset, and blue yeti mic. I've never used the kiyo mic, but I do know discord likes to default to it a lot lol.
r/EDH • What Webcam do you use for playing over Spelltable? ->if you can find a deal on one, razer kiyo pro or razer kiyo pro ultra. plug and play, works super well with OBS. Razer software can be annoying but you can uninstall that if you want.
r/youtubegaming • What webcams would you recommend? ->I used to use a gopro with hdmi capture card so it would work well in low light conditions, Ive switched to the razer kiyo pro and can vouch it is better than my gopro which was already decent
r/vjing • View on Reddit →I use razer kiyo pro, with decent lighting it’s a great cam! It has auto focus and you can adjust its settings like brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance, zoom etc. Lighting is imperative for a webcam to reach its proper potential though so make sure you have budget for that as well!
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I've had good experience with the kiyo series from razer, but the endgame is a dslr. you might be able to use your phone too, they have good cameras.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →I think there's some confusion here. The Kiyo Pro 1080p 60 model that is being referenced above is $130 on Amazon US. There are other Kiyo line cams in the price range you mentioned but theyre (understandably) not the same camera and are probably cheaper in Australia as well.
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →The DSLR with a 135mm lens (if money is not the issue) would be absolutely premium, but as you said, it's really cumbersome. Both the Kiyo Ultra and Elgato Pro would be really worth trying. I like the low light picture quality with the Razer Kiyo Cams better than the Elgato ones, I saw that Elgato flickers more with low light. So it depends also on the lighting of your background. I'm currently using a Kiyo Pro (I hope I won't have the USB issue like you had!) with key lights in direction to a reflector in front of me, a ring light with diffusor on my face and a low background light, so the lighting is quite low at all. With NVIDIA Broadcast it makes a nice DSLR effect, this is the low budget version tho. I hope this somehow helps!
r/streaming • View on Reddit →Razer kiyo pro works at 1080p 60fps via USB A but not sure about budget friendly. Nothing is budget friendly here in Australia.
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →Worked great with Razer kiyo pro, in fact better than with a PC since Razer's software is shit.
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →If you’re looking for something that delivers excellent quality without the hassle of a DSLR setup, the [Razer Kiyo Pro](https://www.reddit.com/u/Budget-Blackberry158/s/TvvFynEfdR) is a solid option. It has amazing low light performance and 1080p at 60fps, which is perfect for streaming. The Kiyo Ultra is a step up if you want 4K, but both are great choices depending on your budget. Worth checking out.
r/streaming • View on Reddit →STAY AWAY FROM THE PRO!!! Ultra might be ok, but pro disconnects usb bus after some time
r/streaming • View on Reddit →I just tried it, and yes, it looks very good. One of the features of the Kiyo Pro is that the signal isn't compressed "for absolute video fidelity. Pair that with the high-performance adaptive light sensor, and you got yourself a pretty solid cam.
r/streaming • View on Reddit →I just plugged my razer kiyo pro webcam into the usb a port and placed it above my tv. Works. And yes it detects multiple faces for Mario kart and the like :)
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →I’ve got the Kiyo pro (mounted in a Prompter). Very good definition and reasonable colour quality. Doesn’t play well with MS Teams.
r/obs • View on Reddit →My recommendation is the Razer Kiyo Pro. I just prefer the brand based on my own experience. Each brand will probably have a cam with similar specs and price. It really comes down to what you're looking for because what's the best for one person or use doesn't mean it's the best for every person or use.
r/obs • View on Reddit →An old Sony vlog camera and razer kiyo pro for my ugly face.
r/whatnotapp • View on Reddit →The Razer Kiyo Pro works well for me, and clips onto a monitor as well.
r/macmini • View on Reddit →I've had mine for four years. Only negative I can think of is it has a fish eye lense
r/streaming • View on Reddit →Canon EOS R50 also didn't work. I have the Razer Kiyo Pro, and that of course works.
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →I use the Razer Kiyo Pro and have got so many compliments on how crisp it is. I think it was $99.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Razer kiyo pro, you’ll pick it up for under £100 and the quality is great.
r/obs • View on Reddit →i agree, i was using a razor kiyo pro and switched to the elgato facecam, if you tweak the settings just right the camera look perfect
r/obs • View on Reddit →Tons. I'm using a Razer kiyo pro which is 1080p 60fps and it works great. I'm assuming it's about $80 US (I'm Australian).
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →Hello mate, not sure on the choice, that’s down to you… Word of warning. The Razer software is just as bad as everyone says. I use a Kiyo Pro and it’s exceptionally prone to crashing, random black screens and generally being very painful to use. Looks amazing and 1080p60, decent wide angle but couldn’t recommend it on the basis of the software and crashes. It’s often a miracle of synapse recognises it (even after a million updates). Good luck!
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I tried a bunch of webcams, including the Razer Kiyo Pro, none of them gave me the quality I was looking for. Then I noticed the specs on my old phones, especially the flagships. Go ahead and look yours up and see if they're better than your webcam. Mine were, by far, and now I use my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (or my Samsung Note 20 Ultra or my Moto G Stylus 2021). You need the [DroidCam app](https://droidcam.app/) and then pay for the pro version to get rid of the watermark. I used Play Points I already had to purchase mine, so it was basically free. There's an OBS version too.
r/obs • View on Reddit →Razer Kiyo Pro works great via the usb c to usb a cable straight into the dock of the Nintendo Switch 2
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →There's third-party config software in the App Store that can config the Razer Kiyo cams. Look for "Spedal", for example. I use it in conjunction with Open Broadcast Studio to config the cam. You can access a full set of cam settings, including Zoom and Tilt / Pan, (if supported). Not sure why it works, but it does. The Razer Cams must use some common app kit camera functions in the Apple Dev Kit just to get up and running that other programs can access for more functions. It's sad that Razer doesn't support their own products on the Mac.
r/macmini • View on Reddit →Yeah, after looking at the specs of the brio 500, I can see why. If you don't have a Walmart nearby with one in stock, the Kiyo Pro is available online but 2x or 3x the price. I believe Razer's MSRP is $199, but Best Buy has them for $129.
r/streaming • View on Reddit →there‘s actually a huge difference between 1080p and 4k, even if it‘s just for a small camera. ever since i switched to the facecam 4k, i‘d definitely not switch back. just more details, more you can do with it. i highly recommend the cam. i used a razer kiyo pro before but it‘s night and day what you can do with the facecam
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I use the Razer Kiyo pro, I looked on Facebook marketplace for a secondhand webcam rather than spend money on a brand new one with bells and whistles and honestly I’d recommend when starting out to try find secondhand stuff. I used the money i saved on some decent lighting (again not super expensive but a budget friendly option which has really elevated the stream!) I think get yourself some secondhand starter bits and try to work on the most important part which is getting used to streaming regularly! No good spending a ton of money only to find it’s a dropped habit in 2 months. Funnily enough I got my webcam super cheap because the person selling it wanted to be a streamer and gave up 3 days later ??
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I have the same and have been happy with it.
r/WeddingPhotography • View on Reddit →one thing i noticed was that keeping HDR on and keeping the cam at 1080p at 30fps, otherwise it looks grainy in my lighting.
r/obs • View on Reddit →I have a razer kiyo pro with nvidia broadcast. it works pretty well and the price is fair.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I found some Razer Kiyo Pros at Walmart for $52 each. I also sit further away from my 43" TV too, but it looks good with the zoom.
r/streaming • View on Reddit →I use Razer Kyo pro camera and a random ring light. However, since you are just starting, make sure to buy a good mic first! It is a better investment when you are just starting because having a bad sound is terrible, and having no cam is acceptable.
