Obsbot meet 2, it's the best i had yet - most versatile doesn't mess up the quality when zooming in, super performance and overall the best on Auto settings too HMU if u need more info or Tipps when u got one ?? (as near as u can get to an DSLR from an webcam quality wise and also so small u safe space) Note- i heard about some saying it overheats etc but i never had that problem at all and the integration with the Streamdeck is a fun game changer!

If you’re planning on just doing 1080p I’d save the cash and go meet se. Are you just using it for face cam? The Meet 2 does have 4k60 capabilities and the Autofocus is better. Up to you if that’s worth almost double the price.

I have a 922 Pro, it's 1080p30, so not a 60 fps cam if you need to be in 1080p. I also hate it, it's hard to get the colors right, even in good light. For now I am only using it as a top down cam, and not my main cam. For my main can I use an Elgato Facecam MK.2. And that is a 1080p60 cam, and the colors are much better. But to be honest, for a relatively cheap, and good webcam, with 4k30/1080p/60, I would have a look at the OBSBOT Meet 2. You can also get the OBSBOT Meet SE, at 1080p/100fps if you don't need the 4k resolution, for an even cheaper price.

I think the obsbot meet 2 is very good. Link2 probably better if try use a little piece of paper or electrical tape over the light if that intrusive. I don’t notice mine on the OBSbot. OBSbot has others similar to insta360 I don’t think there is a light on those. I check some video reviews on them to make sure they have the features you want.

I have a 3-cam setup for streaming. Overhead and side cams are OBSBot Meet 2's, front camera is my old iphone12 with a Death lens (90's skate video fisheye). These are all USB'd into my streaming computer. iPhone uses 'OBS Camera' app with OBS plugin. Low light image quality is good on all 3 cams, but is exceptional on the iphone. OBS Camera app gives you full control of exposure/focus/etc. OBSBot control panel does the same for the Meet 2s. Definitely get yourself some lights though. Seriously. Even a couple of Neewer mini-LEDs or something. You can turn down the exposure if you still like it gloomy, but you will be starting with a much better source image. Also autofocus can get shitty in low-light. if I want to record a stream, I hit record in OBS. If I want to just record audio, I do that in Serato. I don't run my mic into the mixer, I run it into OBS, and have an auto-duck and gate set up so it ducks the music when I talk, but it doesn't affect the Serato recording.

I personally like that it's not sharpened to a point that you see the edge of each pixel. At the same time, auto focus works very well and minimum focus distance is pretty low at 10 cm. So if I get very close to it, it's sharp and detailed enough to show each strand of my beard, if it's a good metric for you :D It doesn't get as hot as people mentioned. Exposure and white balance is consistent overall, but I find average metering to be off at times, for instance when I have a dark table pad and a white keyboard on top, white keyboard blows out a little (there's a HDR mode providing a little improvement tho). Most importantly I found out that you can set the shutter speed and ISO in the software, so my timeline stays consistent editing multi-camera footage when necessary. I hope it helps. Edit: This is the first webcam I bought since almost a couple decades so take it with a grain of salt :D

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into webcams lately and honestly spent way too much time testing, researching, and also reading through this and other subs. Figured I should make a list at this point. Hope it saves someone else the time : ). I personally went for the [**OBSBOT Meet 2 - $129**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0D9W7J9SK) as an all rounder. I know that no list ever matches everyone's opinion so don't come for me, and instead let me know what you're using and your thoughts. Also note: some of these can be overkill for home office but I still added them in case budget is not a topic for some of you. **Best Budget Webcams 2025 (< $50)** * [**Logitech Brio 101**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0BXGFFSL1)\-**$36**\- 1080p webcam with natural image, narrower FOV, great low-light performance, and a surprisingly decent in-built microphone. * [**Anker PowerConf C200**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B09MFMTMPD)\-**$49**\- 2K resolution, wide field of view, sharp picture for the price. * [**EMEET NOVA 4K**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0CY2C7H6S)\-**$57**\- 4K webcam, but requires software to tune image quality cuz it's kinda flat out of the box. * [**EMEET C960 4K**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0CJHZ92P6)\-**$45**\- Affordable 4K webcam, but also needs software adjustments to look its best, autofocus can be a bit inconsistent. It does not have an in-built microphone * [**Insta360 Link 2C**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0DDTGY8FG)\-**$149**\- 4K webcam, strong performance, more expensive than OBSBOT Meet 2. Best out of this range:[**OBSBOT Meet 2**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0D9W7J9SK) **Best High-End Webcams 2025 (< $300)** * [**Logitech MX Brio Ultra HD 4K**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0BFJ4CRKD)\-**$179**\- Logitech’s premium flagship 4K webcam with improved clarity. * [**Elgato Facecam Pro**](https://hwturtle.com/go/B0BJL7Q3SR) \-**$299**\- 4K at 60 fps, smooth video but no built-in microphone. OBSbot Meet 2 or the Insta360 Link 2. Both are around the same price, something like $120-130, and both look especially good for webcams. I would probably stay away from getting a mirrorless or dslr unless you plan on using it as something other than a dedicated streaming camera as well. I have an old a5100 that I use, but I bought it for photography first and just happen to use it as a stream camera. Even used on MPB, just the body for an a5100 is still $300 or so. Then you tack on a lens, capture card, etc. it starts to get real pricey to justify buying one exclusively for streaming unless you’re someone that draws in a ton of viewers.

Insta360 Link 2c or the OBSbot. Both output up to 4k30 which is fine for most YT videos. I will say though, quality audio is more important than quality video. Just because you have a Blue Yeti and a 4k webcam doesn’t mean people will stick around for your content if the video looks great but the audio is shit.

The brio is pretty good for its price. Make sure you get the one you have shown here if you choose brio. The newer one is honestly worse quality in terms of picture. I would not get the egato facecam unless you can get the pro, which is significantly more expensive but has insanely good picture quality for a webcam. Its almost indistinguishable from an actual DSLR. I'd say the obsbot is probably a little bit better than the brio in quality. The c922 that people are suggesting is markedly worse than any of these choices and despite what people tell you, lighting is not going to fix that. You're going to want good lighting for any camera you use.

Well Since I didnt get a response I bought both cameras from Amazon and returned the one I didnt like.. If anyone reads this or runs into the same issue the Elgato Facecam MK.2 was a disaster to setup in OBS with a green screen and pretty good lighting.. I tried and tried and tweaked and still couldnt get it right. I plugged in the OBSBot Meet 2 and it was almost perfect right out of the box, With some minor tweaks its crystal clear @ 1080p60. Dont even waste your time with the Elgato Facecam MK.2

Honestly if you have ANY phone made within the last 5 years that you don't need to monitor your stream.. USE IT... Most phone have at least 1080 recording .. that's enough to get you atleast in the game. If you looking to upgrade for the sake of upgrading the Sony you mentioned would be OVERKILL and way to expensive for gaming streams and the occasional IRL.. I would say check fbook market place for Sony, Canon, or the random Nikon that are full body cameras for reasonable prices. Ofcourse if you just need a webcam to get you thru it.. Logitech c920 , Razer kiyo pro , it any of the OBSBOT cams are a good choice. All are around $200 it less

I’d recommend checking out some comparison videos if you haven’t already. Even after being configured in a controlled lighting setup, the Elgato Facecam MK.2 still looked worse and less natural than the Obsbot Meet 2 did straight out of the box for me (for the same price). After browsing a lot of threads too, I'm not the only one. A lot of people are disappointed with the Elgato, and when compared to the Obsbot, it almost always loses

Get anything by OBSBOT. Their sensors and software are far above the 3 Logitech and 2 Elgato cams I've used. Never feels like I'm fighting against driver update BS or trying to get back to the exact same white balance *that is supposedly stored on the camera (Elgato)*.  Go with a Meet like I did if you don't need/want the cool auto head tracking gimbal base. Comes with a standard monitor and surface mount base. Or could screw in your own mount like I did to attach it to a flexi-arm desk mount. The small size was a surprising bonus: I can have it next to my large monitor(s) without the awkward, oblique camera angle, instead of blocking part of the screen like I had to with the others.

Whatever you do, don’t get the brio. I’d lean towards the OBSbot. It’s the same price as the Facecam MkII, and yeah you’ll only be streaming at 1080p, but the image will be that much sharper if your face cam is ever full screen if you’re running the webcam at 4k. The downside is, it’s only 30 fps so you’ll get a lot of motion blur unless you can change the shutter speed. If all you want is 1080p60, the Mk II is a fine choice and opens up the camera hub software for you which is a great piece of software.

I’ve just got the Obsbot Meet 2 4K and used it for the first time today. Overall seems very good, excellent quality. The face tracking seems a little laggy and doesn’t always initiate but no big deal because I don’t move around much. Autofocus seems to get stuck for a short while before it snaps back. It seems to be defaulted to 1080 @ 30 so had to change it in settings but it hasn’t switched back. The first attempt at a firmware update failed but the second attempt worked fine. I have it connected to my monitor which is connected to my Mac with a single USB C and it works great. It’s absolutely tiny and looks great. The magnetic mount is good and it’s nice to be able to just pick it up and move around. The manual lens cap is a little annoying and is strong enough to pull it off the mount if you don’t use two hands to remove it. Overall for the price, I’m really happy and would recommend.

I’d suggest the OBSbot or Insta360 Link 2. Both are 4k30, look great out of the box, and cost between $130 and $150. And if you’re not moving around a lot, 4k30 would be just fine. Both cameras come with software that allows you to fine tune the camera much like Elgato’s camera hub software.

I work from home and spend way too much time on calls. I use the [Osbot Meet 2](https://amzn.to/4orS9JF) and always get compliments on how clear the video is. It’s a super small 4k camera (it’s like 1” x 1”) that will just plug and play. You can clip it onto your display (using the included magnet clip) or if you want to get it at a specific level it has a 1/4” thread and works on any camera stand. As far as the additional storage you should be able to run Logic off an external drive. I use this [SSD](https://amzn.to/4pMJym5) and this SSD [enclosure](https://ziketech.com/products/zikedrive-usb4-40gbps-nvme-m-2-ssd-enclosure-z666) and it works fine for me (I run Final Cut Pro completely off the external drive). It’s the least amount of repair / install you’ll need to do (literally clip the SSD into the enclosure and format the drive) plus if you ever wanted to get a bigger SSD you could always upgrade in the future.

I'm using the OBSBOT Meet 2 Webcam. It's around $120 and looks as good as a DSLR imho, with a lot less technical know-how needed to make it work. It also satisfied my two requirements: decent auto focus that actually brings me into proper focus, and letting the background fall slightly out of focus so it's less obtrusive.
