I have the Logitech C920 and the quality is fantastic. It's not "pro streamer with a $5000 Sony 1 million megapixel DSLR mounted on my desk" quality, but it's much better than what I see from my coworkers who just use their laptop cameras. The built in mic for the C920 is also really good. I've had several folks say I sound clear and at a good volume when we're on Zoom calls or Slack huddles.
r/homeoffice • What's your personal choice for a webcam? ->I guess it depends on how and where it would stand. Directly on your desk or something elevating it. Regardless, the defacto Logitech C920 for example has a standard thread for tripod attachment. Could mount on one behind the screen or wherever works.
r/homeoffice • Best webcam that can stand? ->Depende kung san mo gagamitin. Streaming? Or pang general work video/conference call lang? Ok na yang pinost mo for the latter. If willing ka naman gumastos go with elgato facecam. I used the logi c922 and c920 before and they are alright. I believe there are newer brands, check out Harris Heller (Senpai Gaming) on youtube for reviews.
r/ShopeePH • Best Webcam ->I use an Anker Powerconf C200, it works great in low light and does 1080p/60. I only use some LED lights at around 40% brightness with mood lighting and my monitor brightness is set pretty low and my camera quality is great. I have a Logitech Litra Glow key light as well, but I rarely ever use it unless I'm really trying to light something up. Some of the Logitech cameras work fairly well in lower light too, like the C920, C720, and anything in the Brio line.
r/Twitch • Low light camera? ->Lightning is very very important!! Cannot emphasise how much it can change the quality, even an old c920 can perform well if you have enough lightning :) The one you showed is a good starter cam
r/Twitch • is this a okay starter camera? ->Just curious, does Logitech's free software LogiTune work with your Brio? If you haven't tried that you might give it a shot - it gives you control of brightness, contrast, white balance, gain, and exposure. Otherwise I've used a Logitech C920 (with the LogiTune software) for years.
r/CamGirlProblems • webcam recommendation under $100 ->Depends on your budget. High end cameras and microphones almost cost more than good PC's do. Even the budget priced ones I've got cost $200 for me Ive got a budget cam that even after a decade is still considered the best at that price point Logitech C920. My microphone is workable but you need a boom arm for it which brings the price up for it. HyperX Solocast I noticed another one here has that. If I had my time over I'd have just gotten a Blue Yeti. Would totalled bout $40 more but from what I hear, much better quality
r/Twitch • What are the best PC cameras and microphones for streaming? ->Thank god the c920 works that's the one I was hoping would lol
r/NintendoSwitch2 • Switch 2 USB Webcam Test Results - All four webcams I tried worked ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

Yes I noticed a difference - the YouTube video in the post gives you a glimpse, but the Logitech C930e was the clearest of the four I tried (although the C920 was close).
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →I mean if youre only using a cam for keyboard/mouse/hands that cam would work just fine. U just need to have good lighting
r/streaming • View on Reddit →I can hold my ID up to my 2013 laptop camera and read the details. I can't with my C920 or Elgato Facecam in the same room same lighting, plugged into the laptop. But the C920 and Elgato over all look better
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I’ve used my phone and also use a Logitech C920. Both give very good image quality! Both I use on a tripod but would love to get a long arm to mount to the wall/board.
r/Darts • View on Reddit →Ive%20used%20this%20one%20for%20years%20and%20its%20currently%20onsale%20on%20amazon.ca%c2%a0 https://a.co/d/i4yOgd6 But if youre looking for variety I wrote a blog post recently on several webcams: https://thegamingglitch.wordpress.com/2025/06/05/top-5-webcams-for-streamers-under-100-2025-edition/
r/SmallStreamers • View on Reddit →Logitech C920 does a pretty good auto-focus. But ive had trouble with it picking the wrong thing to focus on occasionally. Havent tried using V4L2 to adjust it though. Anycubic has a decent usb webcam that’s designed to be a printer cam. Just a board and usb cable for $15… Haven’t tested it yet, but it just got here yesterday. Looks to be a simple manual focus camera module for cheap.
r/klippers • View on Reddit →I have a C920 but that’s intricately connected to my home office setup. I have a spare Logitech C270, which I will try tonight and report back.
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →Razer makes not so great products, I'd go with Logitech. I have the Logitech C920 as my back up camera.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →and if you were curious on the logitech c920 quality, here is what that setup looked like. don't worry about the background being blurry on the main camera. i disabled autofocus so that i could manually set the focus to the cards that i would hold up, which were closer to the camera. https://preview.redd.it/c9blaamn0bre1.png?width=587&format=png&auto=webp&s=2999eb07b733601ad96f57030cda8a76a630551e
r/whatnotapp • View on Reddit →I want to know what your use case for your webcam is. why is it overheating or breaking? I've bought a Logitech C?920 back in 2015 for £53.99 ($72.13 ish) and it's still ontop of my monitor today working like it did day one.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I just upgraded my C920 for a Face Cam Neo and was pretty blown away by the difference and the upgraded user experience. C920 constantly gave me exposure issues and I had to tweak the settings every time I used it. Face Cam Neo has been set and forget.
r/obs • View on Reddit →logitech c920. he said another one but i forgot sorry
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →I have to disagree. Just installed my new Logitech C920X and it freezes on every test and on Instant Messenger. Pretty sure it's a driver issue. Running Win 10. Not what I expected from Logitech...should be a simple plug and play.
r/obs • View on Reddit →Absolutely. Get started with what you can afford. The c920 is a very common one that people start with. I have the 1080p version of the Brio and I think it’s a pretty nice picture
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I have a Logitech 920 and a Sony ZVe10 both connected via usb , work fine.
r/macmini • View on Reddit →The c920 is just a classic standard all around fine webcam. But it is getting a bit old now and was release date back in 2012... Logitech have the c922 that can do 60fps in 1080p tho. Logitech Brio is a better webcam overall and can do 4k. Insta360 Link 2 is also there but is in a completely different price range.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I use an Elgato Key light and I find the Logitech C920 worse than my Macbook Pro built-in webcam!! I'm not using any additional filters or settings either. I figured it should be at least better than my built-in camera... Which should I return it for?
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →[Logitech C920 ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Calidad_Precio/comments/1j8svlm/best_logitech_webcams_in_2025_top_picks_for_every/)is a solid pick. Super clear 1080p video, great autofocus, and works right out of the box. Perfect if you just need a reliable webcam for calls or streaming. Not gonna lie, [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Calidad_Precio/comments/1j8svlm/best_logitech_webcams_in_2025_top_picks_for_every/) helped me decide when I was stuck between a few models. Definitely worth a read if you’re still on the fence!
r/obs • View on Reddit →Same, but C920 works. I don't think 4k cameras are supported yet (but detected yes)
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →I also use the logitech C920 for teaching online and haven't had any problems with it. Been using it for over 5 years now. Well worth the price, and that isn't very expensive.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →I’ve been messing with the new webcam tracking too—Logitech C920/C922 seems to be the go-to for a reason. Decent FOV, solid tracking, and doesn’t break the bank. Just make sure it can hit 60fps if possible—feels way smoother. Heard mixed things about fancy cams like OBSBOT. Cool tech, but not sure VRChat plays nice with all that auto-framing yet.
r/VRchat • View on Reddit →thank you sm! i got the logitech c920 and it was so much better. you literally saved me from missing my test. tysm again.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →I use a Logitec C920 and a Razer Kiyo Pro for my streams. I use the Kiyo for my face cam because it's a sharper webcam than the c920. Though with my weak PC I have to scale it down a bit because if you have the processor power to drive it, it'll take it. Both are modestly priced cameras.
r/obs • View on Reddit →Looks like they renamed the c920 but still an amazing webcam, I still use it as a backup since mine is over 10 years old at this point. However, if you want better quality (still need some decent lighting) I suggest the [Anker Conf C200](https://www.newegg.com/anker-a3369011-powerconf-c200/p/1EF-01EW-00003?item=9SIACCUHGG3545&Source=socialshare&utm_campaign=snc-copy-link-_-sr-_-9SIACCUHGG3545-_-09222025&utm_campaign=snc-copy-link-_-sr-_-product-_-09222025&utm_medium=social&utm_source=copy-link). Great 2k camera for (currently) less than $50.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →“Best” I would say, something like a Sony FX3 with a 14mm G master lens and a AV.io 4K capture card. If you don’t want or need “the Best” then just get a Logitech C920, it’s perfectly serviceable.
r/macmini • View on Reddit →Very nice setup.do u need a powered usb hub to get the c920 working with the iPad?I’ve got the same webcam and wondered if I need to get one or not.although my iPad is lightning connection and I tried it with a adaptor but it said insufficient power to run it
r/Darts • View on Reddit →I’ve owned Kiyo and C920. Not sure why everyone used to recommend C920, I like Kiyo way better.
r/digitalnomad • View on Reddit →You can buy whatever you want but most people have experience using the c920
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Elgato Facecam Neo, Razer Kiyo, if you want a built-in light or Logitech c920 series. Take your pick, all for less $100 usd typically
r/streaming • View on Reddit →i used to run 3 logitech c920 webcams (face, overhead and 3d printer view) but now i'm running dual anker c200 webcams on obs. here's an example of the stream quality with some diffused lighting. the ONLY reason i switched to the anker webcams is because for some reason, my computer just stopped being able to detect the webcams. it wasn't a webcam issue since they worked on other computers, so it was software-related. the anker webcams turned out to be great so i'm extremely satisfied with those over the logitech, just a little pricier ($20-30 extra for brand new over the cost of the c920 used). r/whatnotapp • View on Reddit →I've had Logitech C920 for years now. Works just fine.
r/vtubertech • View on Reddit →I don't know all the technical aspects of it, but one of my friends bought one of those cheap "4k" webcams and it looked like dogshit. He returned it and got the c920 and it looks so much better.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →(Edit to put this at top - I wouldn't recommend a Brio 100 (101?) because it is fixed-focus). I've had a Logitech C920 (lowest price looks to be around $60) for several years and it's never given trouble. Also a Logitech Brio 4k ($130). I've also tried no-name webcams and ended up with something that randomly disappears in the middle of meetings (this wasn't Fedora-specific). If it was me, I would go $10 over budget and get a C920 (the diffs between C920/C920e/C920X are minor and mostly what software is bundled with it, so inconsequential). Definitely *don't* get a Brio 101 or 301, or a C270 - they are within your budget, but all three are fixed-focus. (Brio 4k is autofocus like the C920, but double the price, because of the hugher resolution) (I got my first Logitech product back in 1985 (C7 mouse) and have never had a quality problem with any of their products.)
r/Fedora • View on Reddit →**Logitech C920**. It offers amazing image quality and performance, and it's a proven staple for many live streamers.
r/streaming • View on Reddit →I'm having nothing but problems with my C920X. Freezes with Instant Messenger (FB) and all the tests I run do the same thing. Seems like it's a driver issue. Not sure I'd recommend it...in fact I'm sending mine back to Amazon.
r/obs • View on Reddit →Lighting is EVERYTHING. I had a Logitech c920 for the longest time. Literally got partner with it. About a year into my streaming I upgraded my lighting and everyone thought I had gotten a new camera. Honestly. Lighting >>>> cam. And also good audio. Make sure you have good audio and you'll do fine :)
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Look into the nexigo series, super affordable great quality, I personally have a nexigo N60 cam, it replaced the c920 cam I bought under advice and ended up hating. If you’d like a comparison my twitch name is the same as this username and my recent vods show me using both the nexigo N60 (facecam) + the c920 as my desk cam to see for yourself and make an informed decision (: best of luck on your cam journey!
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Elgato Facecam - I set it up once and haven't messed with it since, the settings save on the camera, so even reinstalling Windows I didn't have to set it up again. I used Logitech C920 webcams before and fought with different programs to keep settings and had to use so many lights. Then the next day whatever I set it too would look like something else and I'd have to adjust it again.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Late last week I shared a [video](https://youtu.be/ZqXMybyjFQM?si=UqioJFr1cPmbWkDA) that showcased the general compatibility of various USB webcams with the Nintendo Switch 2. After reviewing a lot of questions from the reddit thread and the YouTube comments, I thought it would be helpful to put together a deeper dive into the microphone / video quality of various webcams, including the Official Switch 2 Camera and the Hori Piranha Plant Camera. I also included the Logitech C930e, C920, C615, and the Razer Kiyo. Here's the link if you're interested in seeing it for yourself: [https://youtu.be/e2Z5nA02yjg](https://youtu.be/e2Z5nA02yjg) To summarize my findings, the Piranha Plant webcam was easily the worst of the bunch. And the Official Switch 2 camera seemed like the best - it was overall pretty clear and had a VERY wide angle lens compared to the rest. With that said, given the camera use-cases we see on the Switch 2 today, it's hard to justify a new purchase if you already have a decent webcam at home. The C930e and C920 were so close to the official camera that most people probably wouldn't notice. But if you have anything to share about your experience, would love to hear it in the comments! Finally, here's a link to the reddit post I made last week that includes a LOT of helpful comments from the community, detailing which cameras work / don't work: [https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch2/comments/1l3u56w/switch\_2\_usb\_webcam\_test\_results\_all\_four\_webcams/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button](https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch2/comments/1l3u56w/switch_2_usb_webcam_test_results_all_four_webcams/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
r/NintendoSwitch2 • View on Reddit →I'll second this. c920 is king. If you want to upgrade - the wider angle lens of even a default DSLR lens is rather nice, but in the end that's a splurge.
r/Twitch • View on Reddit →Thank god the c920 works that's the one I was hoping would lol
