Anker - PowerConf C200

I use this one as well. I've had one die on me on my work workstation, but the one I use at home is working fine.

Elgato and Razer will cost a bit more because of their name. I went from a logitech C920x ($70) to an Anker PowerConf C200 ($50) and have been happier with it. The most important thing you can do is get your lighting set up right and consistent.

If you've got MXA920 money, then you've got real camera money. I'm currently using [this](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZDRHJ7S) tripod and an [Anker Powerconf C200](https://a.co/d/1kj9URT) webcam. Works great.

I’ve been super happy with this one. https://amzn.to/40GO1MQ I had a GoPro die and needed a cheap replacement and it’s been a good experience. Does well in low light, has a solid fov, and was cheap. I have a c920 as well and the anker dunks on it without a doubt. Skip the c920 in 2025 imo

I use a Ankerwork C200. Very good quality for the price, especially in low light since it actually has a decently sized sensor. Only downside is that it's only 30fps

I mean I used a c920 for streaming for my job, it was fine, it just isn't nearly as nice as the anker is and its old and the software likes to reset things constantly + ghub sucks if you go that route. I still use my c920, its a handcam now, but face/tracking all goes to the anker.

I use the Anker PowerConf C200, its a great camera. It is a 2k camera and looks better in the way it processes available light. I get a clearer crisper view and true light tones versus the other cameras I use, where I often have to adjust the color levels. $60 currently on Amazon.

Have a 2K Anker as well - have been very pleased with it.

I've been using a logitech c920 for maybe 10 years - it doesn't handle a bright window directly behind me very well but nothing really does. In all other circumstances it's fine. I needed another webcam a few years ago for a new office desk in the spare room, so I bought another the same. Window's in front of me there but it doesn't care if I'm in bright light or it's dark and the blind is down with the normal overhead yellowy light on. A few months ago my other half wanted a webcam so I bought a new Anker 2k one and gave her my old logitech one - the Anker is pretty much identical on a call to the logitech, I just get a privacy shutter now as well. I've never had a ring light or anything else and don't intend to. I spend quite a bit of time on calls with camera on and have never had a comment about camera quality. Bear in mind Teams, Zoom, and all the others compress the video as they send it so the pic on the other end isn't going to be amazing no matter what you do. Then you're often going to be one of 3, 4, or more pictures on someone's screen so the recipient of your video won't see it as any different to anyone else's.

if you're after something that handles low-light a bit better than the usual cheap cams, the c200 still tends to edge out others in this price range. color accuracy isn’t perfect, but it’s far better than the washed-out look most $30–40 cameras have. for calls, screen sharing, and “set and forget” use on chrome, it’s been one of the more reliable options. fwiw i browsed through feedback specifically from mac + multi-monitor users, and the c200 seems to avoid the random glitches that cheaper generic cams run into. same affiliate disclaimer.

I have several of the 310’s and they work well. If you like the 300 specs, you can order it on Amazon and return it if it doesn’t work for you.

I've been looking for a thread like this. I've also tried a c930e and Streamcam, both work docked and undocked, and show up as mic input too I've tried the Anker c200, which I had high hopes for as it's a higher resolution, which is good for cropping/zooming... but it doesn't seem to recognise it.

Anker Powerconf C200. Good lighting controls, a directional mic, very basic zoom controls, and high resolution. 

I’m using the Anker C200 2k (comes in 4k also) for both Teams and Zoom, and haven’t had any issue for both video and audio. It’s a compact size and sit nicely on top of my monitor light bar.

Hi! I am looking for budget webcam recommendations for video calls to use with my dual monitor setup. I used to use my Macbook pro camera but recently got an extra monitor and cannot keep it open now. I know the continuity camera is an option but for some reason, it does not work for me all the time in some apps like Google meet on Chrome. Budget is close to 50$. EDIT: Thanks for the reply and suggestions everyone! I decided to try out the OBSBOT Meet Se and the Anker PowerConf C200 cams. Going to keep the OBSBOT camera most likely since it is so much better in image quality than the PowerConf, even though it's just 1080p vs 2k. Slightly on the expensive side but well worth the difference once I tried both out.

Anker C200 2k (also 4k version). It gets the job done and sit nicely on my monitor light bar.
