The Miele electrobrush is substandard and the pieces break off, making it unusable. To replace even a tiny wheel is $55 for a single piece.
r/VacuumCleaners • Anyone not like their Miele? ->No the Miele vacuums have different warranties. The POS that I purchased unfortunately came with a 1 year warranty. Buy a SEBO instead.
r/VacuumCleaners • Anyone not like their Miele? ->Don't buy the Miele! There little pieces break and to replace a single screw or tiny wheel is $55 each. I have a Sebo (German vacuum as well), which has never broken down piece by piece like the Miele. Highway robbery! The Miele vacuums are crap.
r/VacuumCleaners • Anyone not like their Miele? ->I was in full decision paralysis by the time I got to chat with Andrea (geekvacuums). She was up late answering all my questions, answered all my concerns, and just held my hand as I tried to figure out the best decision for my home and family. I never felt pushed and I was so happy that I could support a small business while getting it shipped to me. I love our local stores but none of them provided payment options that worked for our family. For those who need these options, def research and find a small business who Sebo supports. You’ll be able to get a better warranty than their own site or Amazon - plus you can still use the warranty at your local shops even though you don’t get from there. I am so amazed at the performance of this little vacuum. I wasn’t prepared for our carpets to feel this fresh and new after vacuuming ??
r/VacuumCleaners • Got my Sebo today! ->Twenty seven years ago we purchased a Eureka canister that broke within a year. We ended up with a Miele. That thing still runs and I use it to clean my unfinished basement twice a year. My new Miele canister lives on my first floor for hardwood and my Sebo upright in s upstairs for carpeting. The Sebo is heavy but it’s a beast that will definitely outlive me. I now have two very cheap cordless vacuums that I use like Dustbusters. I’ve never understood why people buy that Dyson crap. There are complaints everywhere. There’s a difference between a company that spends money on engineering and quality and one that spend it on advertising. Dyson spends it on advertising. I’d vote for Miele everyday.
r/VacuumCleaners • DO NOT BUY A DYSON (I wish someone had told me this) ->That might do for you. I got a similar vac, a Titan fron Screwfix and have been very pleased with it. It's very noisy, as it's shop and not domestic. I bought it for dealing with various bits of dust and rubbleand ash, kept it as a general downstairs vac for floors that are brick and stone with rugs. Upstairs we have carpet and pets and I have a Sebo, but that's partly because I'm not prepared to lug the Titan up and down stairs, I need a vac on each floor. I've only used it once as a wet vac but it was very effective at that too. https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb774vac-1300w-16ltr-wet-dry-vacuum-220-240v/826kh
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum in UK for these criteria? ->none, save your money and get a vacuum that isn't overpriced and unreliable like every shark is, for $400 you can get a really decent spec miele or sebo, both of which are fantastic for carpets
r/VacuumCleaners • Which Shark vacuum should I buy? ->Sebo is most of my business so that!
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum cleaner of 2025???? ->Of course she will get conflicting views here. SEBO if you have the money as well worth it if not, go with the Kenny.
r/VacuumCleaners • Recommendation for lots of pet hair and carpets. ->100 bucks or so, I sold thousand of those , my fav
r/VacuumCleaners • Sebo X4 boost ->SEBO x4 or G series bulletproof and easy to work on
r/VacuumCleaners • Teenager-Proof Commercial Vacuums ->People like them but we had plenty of issues with them, this one made in Vietnam now, make sure you have a dealer near you, or just buy a Sebo x4, I've sold thousands for combo surfaces
r/VacuumCleaners • Riccar? ->Or the only other quality Vacuum is the SEBO you can tell them that you want one of those instead
r/VacuumCleaners • Return Advice Needed ->As a small vacuum business myself, I would be happy to switch it out for you, if you feel better, call them ahead of time. Tell him what happened and you decide to go with the SEBO
r/VacuumCleaners • Return Advice Needed ->They are having issues with their new SEB O and they are upset, these things are very rare, but they do happen
r/VacuumCleaners • Return Advice Needed ->Dyson V 15 and Sebo owner with two super hairy shorthairs living in a cement floored warehouse with lots of Turkish area rugs. Not sure what your obviously perfect feline does but life with my kitties has its challenges. They are dirt attractants to say nothing of the charms of litter in bare fee. Couldn’t live without the instant availability of a cordless and the 15 is a solid performer in all areas. My rugs do look cleaner after a full Sebo experience but I’m lazy and place is big. I have come to realize you need more than one vacuum, unless you have only one flooring type , don’t have to carry up stairs or navigate a labyrinth of hallways and live in under 1000sq ft.
r/VacuumCleaners • What should I get to vacuum lots of cat hair? ->I like to add, SEBO is another great option. One can be more available than the other depending on location. Big thing is bagged vacuums are just better. Everyone switching to bagless was just a straight downgrade.
r/BuyItForLife • Best plug in vacuum that won’t break the bank ->It’s one of those but once cry once things. A Miele or SEBO will last much longer and do a better job than a cheaper option. It pays for itself in not having to replace it in a couple years.
r/BuyItForLife • Best plug in vacuum that won’t break the bank ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

We recently got a sebo x4 to replace our second dying hoover. It feels super high quality and we are pretty happy with it. Our only complaint is that we miss being able to shut off the brush because it makes the floor warm where it sits when using the hose attachment.
r/VacuumCleaners • i want to invest in a nice vacuum ->That happens if you go onto a thicker rug and the machine is too low and doesn’t have enough time to raise the nozzle before triggering the shut down. Putting the handle into the upright position will raise the nozzle up. The X was created mainly for carpets with some hard floor use. It’s really a carpet - first cleaner and it’s pretty good at it too.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Pretty much either Miele or Sebo with a powerhead. Any of them. If you really do have wall to wall carpets, a second hand Kirby with a HEPA bag is decent lol
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →The Miele electrobrush is substandard and the pieces break off, making it unusable. To replace even a tiny wheel is $55 for a single piece.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →I should also mention that they sell replaceable parts. I was reluctant to buy such an expensive vacuum but it has been well worth it.
r/roughcollies • View on Reddit →Love love love our Sebo it’s perfect and solid. Our cleaner has been in the business for decades and said Sebo vacuums are the absolute best.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →No the Miele vacuums have different warranties. The POS that I purchased unfortunately came with a 1 year warranty. Buy a SEBO instead.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →If you’re spending 800 on a Dyson just spend that on a Sebo or Miele and you’re good for 10+ years lol
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →I’ve got an X4 Boost and it’s a wonderful machine. It’s the vacuum cleaner I grab when I need to get stuff done. You can use it on bare floor, it is designed for it. I use it on luxury vinyl plank - it does well with any flat, hard-wearing floor. But delicate wood or very bumpy tile might be a no go. My only tip with this machine is to make sure to put the wand handle back over the unlock tab. I do wish SEBO found a better way to index the wand into the slot on the X7 to eliminate this issue.

r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Sebo - great German brand, all replaceable parts. Basically no mainstream consumer brand is good anymore. Their not designed to be fixed, and on since cases are designed to eventually fail. Look for brands that make industrial vacuums. they often have a consumer option. They will typically be more boring looking but far more reliable. And they'll cost 2-3x a typical Dyson. My Sebo was $1200, but I was replacing vacuums every couple years, so if it lasts 6+ then I'm even.
r/homeowners • View on Reddit →I like to add, SEBO is another great option. One can be more available than the other depending on location. Big thing is bagged vacuums are just better. Everyone switching to bagless was just a straight downgrade.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →If you want another option, look into Sebo vacuums. They’re a bit pricey but built like tanks and great for allergy control. The sealed system is no joke.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →The best vacuum cleaner is the one that fits your cleaning needs. That said; if I’m choosing: - MD or Vacuflo central vac with chameleon retractable hoses and direct connext inlets. - Canister: SEBO D4 - Raw Power upright: Riccar R40 - Overall upright: Sebo X -Cordless: Hoover ONEPWR Hepa Bagged Upright BH55500PC (oreck has one, Hoover commercial has 40v version) - Ultralight: Oreck Elevate Conquer (yes Riccar R17 is excellent but this has a swivel neck)
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →If you want “buy it for life,” go bagged Sebo or Miele. Everything else is basically disposable.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →none, save your money and get a vacuum that isn't overpriced and unreliable like every shark is, for $400 you can get a really decent spec miele or sebo, both of which are fantastic for carpets
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Check out r/vacuumcleaners As mentioned Miele and Sebo are top brands. You can safely ignore any shark or Dyson recs. They’re garbage. As is anything bagless.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Indeed, the Dyson is ideal for everyday light cleaning in smaller spaces or apartments. A canister vacuum is more suitable for thorough weekly cleaning of a larger home. Unfortunately, I cannot afford both the SEBO I purchased and a €1000 Dyson. I might consider a robot vacuum for automated daily cleaning and mopping in the future, though higher-quality models are also quite costly, similar to the Dyson, and also made in Asia, which I prefer to avoid.

r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →I would check out r/vacuumcleaners. I have a Sebo, they have a 10 year warranty and are repairable.
r/homemaking • View on Reddit →Get a sebo or something that will actually last years. Yes it’s corded but I can’t fathom spending 100’s on something that is as unreliable as Dyson vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Had various Dyson uprights and canisters in the past, but couldn't help noticing they were always covered in a fine layer of dust. I also wasn't happy about needing to sweep or vacuum around the bin every time I emptied the cup (no matter how careful I was, a little dust would always scatter or blow back somehow). Washing out the filters wasn't exactly pleasant either, and they took an age to dry afterwards. Ironically, Dyson was the best of the bunch at the time. The late 90s/early 2000s were awash with a raft of truly woeful bagless vacuums, that were trying to compete with Dyson without infringing on their patents, but failing badly at it. They were so crap they made a Dyson look good. I didn't make the change until I ran a housecleaning business. I needed something reliable and durable, but not quite as big and hefty as a commercial vac, and the Sebo Automatic X seemed to be the best match. When I saw how easy and clean it was to change the bag, I decided to swap my home vacuum for a Sebo too, and have stuck with them ever since. Not out of some kind of blind brand loyalty, but because nobody else seems to make anything I'd want now.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →And officially it’s my goal to thank every single one of you all that recommended my vacuum for me. 6 months in with our particular Sebo and we’re hooked on the quality of it. OP, when you get a better vacuum, you’re going to flip at the night and day difference in customer service. Our new vacuum had a teeny tiny nuisance issue, took it to the shop where we bought it, turns out there was a service notice for the issue. Fixed and turned around in under 2 hours with no charge. Post your requirements, and let this wonderful community guide you!

r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →You’ll save money. If you buy a Dyson or Shark you’ll have to spend another 200 or 300 bucks in a few years. If you buy a Sebo, you will be set for 10 to 20 years.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →A Henry should be at the top of your list, since it's affordable and manufactured in the UK. You can use variety of parquet brushes and the horsehair ones would be great for LVP. A miele or Sebo would be more expensive and would come with extra bells and whistles such as self retracting cords and better ergonomics, storage. If you need to clean rugs, you can find a turbo attachment. These options will last you 15+ years. If you want something cordless, Dyson fluffy rollers are good for quick pickups and won't hurt the flooring. The V8 absolute package includes a fluffy roller and goes on sale intermittently to be within your budget. Keep in mind while it might be a space saving option and convenient, cordless stick vacuums usually last a couple of years before big problems arise, hence why the main recommendation is for bagged, plug in vacuums.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Ok so maybe someone can tell me what's going on here. I have a Sebo, it does a good job on carpet but on linoleum does a shitty job like it doesn't have enough suction to effectively vacuum without the carpet head.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →The Dyson, the shark and the roomba don’t compare to the Sebo. That’s how they compare. It’s like asking how a goldfish compares to a great white shark. I guess they both live in the water.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →It’s one of those but once cry once things. A Miele or SEBO will last much longer and do a better job than a cheaper option. It pays for itself in not having to replace it in a couple years.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Check out Sebo. Their uprights are excellent.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →Basically doesn’t exist according to your specifications. Anti-tangle brushrolls don’t work and are a marketing gimmick and bagless vacuums don’t last long. A decent long lasting vacuum is going to be bagged, corded and fairly expensive. Look at Sebo uprights, Riccar R25, etc. Something cheaper, look at something like the Kenmore Elite
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →I’ve heard Miele customer support is getting to be not so great. I bought a Sebo, had it for two years, expect to have it for many more. My mom’s Miele is 10+ years old, 4 cats, 2 birds, still going like new.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I bought our sebo online directly from the manufacturer. No regrets.
r/pittsburgh • View on Reddit →Sebo! Not a pretty vacuum but a workhorse for the endless floof.
r/roughcollies • View on Reddit →I bought a SEBO about 10 years ago and it has never had a single issue. You cannot kill them.

r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →SEBO bristles are also pretty long and flexible and SEBO doesn’t have a reputation for being a carpet shredder. I’ve stuck my hand on the nozzle and the cleaning action is more gentle than a lot of machines. Laminate flooring is surprisingly tough - the top layer is usually melamine like counter tops and it won’t have an issue with the X4. Melamine resin is much harder than nylon bristle. Now a polished marble floor or pine, maybe not.
