I would really advise everyone to play star Citizen on the Samsung Odyssee G9 32/9 OLED! I am playing in 32/9 for 2 years now and before i had the Asus ROG 21/9 for 4 Years. Never had any issues playing hhis or any other game! Working on a lil stronger system tbf ROG 4080Super / 7800x3D / 64gb CL32 DDR5 RAM in Lorville i have around 50ish FPS with clouds on High and in spaceflight 120-140 FPS
r/starcitizen 4k or 21:9 for SC? ->I got both the strix and the Rog ultrawide, both are equally as amazing but I pretty much only use my ultrawide for games. Everything else like YouTube and movies I watch on the strix
r/ultrawidemasterrace Is ULTRAWIDE actually worth it!!! ->RTX 2070 for a while system Asus ROG 3440 X 1440 Seems O K to me but it's the older monitor from 4-5 years ago
r/EliteDangerous CMDRs running Ultrawide monitors, what Monitor and Graphics cards do you use? ->The Asus rog is a way better monitor than those ultrawides you selected. I had both the Asus , the Xiaomi and now an G8 ultrawide OLED. In picture quality and response time , the Asus was closer to the OLED than to the Xiaomi. So I would say , yes ultrawide is worth it, but don't cheap out on your choice.
r/ultrawidemasterrace Is ULTRAWIDE actually worth it!!! ->I can recommend the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG34WCDM. It has a higher curved rate than other Ultrawides which is pretty nice for FPS games. Also 240hz and ultra low latency.
r/ultrawidemasterrace Best 34" Ultrawide for fast FPS gaming?
->I'm sure there are plenty of people who love it. From my perspective, it's too big. The games that support it are gorgeous, but many do not. My biggest gripe with it is that the main thing for me that would make it manageable it that if a game doesn't support 32:9, rather than have black bars on the edges, let me put other applications like Discord etc on the sides instead. While that is possible, in practice, it's very fiddly. If I'm paying that much for a monitor, I don't want mini-annoyances, I want things to just work and work well. In my opinion, 21:9 is the sweet spot. I have a nice 34" OLED 1440p Ultrawide (ASUS PG34WCDN) with two flanking 27" monitors and it is perfect for my use cases. Just my two cents, I'm sure many will tell you to go for it.
r/ultrawidemasterrace Does anyone have this monitor and recommend it? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
