I love my city mini gt2. Two kids and that thing is still trucking. Plus the shock absorber on that bad boy!

Uppa Baby G Luxe, or Baby Jogger City Mini 2. My daughters are 19, and 15 now but I had early versions of Uppa Baby Vista and it was a great stroller. Very much a BIFL quality item. Go to the store and try a bunch out and get the one with the easiest fold. We had a Maclaren Triumph stroller and it was great; so sad the company went out of business.

See if you can find a used Baby Jogger City Mini to use for your trip and resell afterwards (or keep!). I got one for free second hand from a coworker. Didn�t think much of it, but MAN can that thing handle all the bumps and crazy tree roots in our neighborhood. We can take it on trails even. It�s slimmer than our main stroller (Nuna Tavo), less storage space, but handles amazingly well. Our Nuna is actually terrible at getting over tree roots or uneven sidewalks.

Baby jogger City Mini GT seemed to be best happy medium of price and performance� and we lived in an urban environment with lots of walking, often uneven sidewalks of a gentrifying area.

We had the car seat attachment instead for when he was a newborn/infant. We had to convince GW hospital to let us walk home in the stroller + car seat ?? but it was very convenient for detaching quickly to use as a car seat carrier for catching the bus

We did something different and got a second hand baby jogger city mini. We rolled it right up to the place, gate checked it, and then picked it up on the other side. Because they are cheap second hand (ours was $50) we weren�t too worried about damage and then you get a solid stroller to use on your trip. It folds easily with one hand which made it easy to navigate steep and narrow stairs in the Netherlands. It�s my understanding that travel strollers often have a complicated fold and it�s not uncommon to be told you must check in anyway, which potentially puts a fragile and very expensive stroller in the hold without any protection.

We took a totally different approach, which was to get the stroller we wanted for at home and to get a rugged stroller for cheap second hand for travel. We got a baby jogger city mini for travel for $50 on marketplace. It�s large but it folds so easily with one hand and it has some other features that are great for travel like a very good sunshade and a decent cargo basket. We were also able to get an adapter for our baby bucket car seat which was awesome. We gate check it without a bag. It�s flown around 10 times and is so far still going strong.

City Mini. Turns on a dime, slender frame good for shopping, lives in my minivan but fit nice in a car trunk. Mine is used (3rd lady to use it in the friend group). Doesn�t fold completely upright, but it has a following among moms.

Yup, this is the one right here. I live in 300 year old American city with cracked sidewalks, potholes, constant construction, you name it. The Citi Mini braved it all without breaking a sweat, and gave us a lot of really good memories. Love that damn thing.

What kind of terrain will you encounter in general? We have an older version of the GT and really like it. It was intended to be a back-up stroller for grandparents (super clearance deal) and we use it more than our expensive stroller. If you�re looking for a smaller Jogging stroller, I�d look into the Guava Roam or Thule might make one too.

I registered for the Nuna PIPA RX car seat and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT3 - Baby Jogger sells a little adapter for Nuna :) All the reviews I read said that Baby Jogger handles better than Nuna or Uppababy, is good on all terrain, and is super easy to fold down (important to me). I also got the MomPush Meteor 2 that has lots of storage space and a giant bassinet on it - my cousin swears by it and we�ve gone on walks over an hour. I know it�s not exactly what you asked but we heard about lots of people being told they must gate check their tiny, expensive stroller, which seems like a recipe for damage. We didn�t want that stress so we bought a used baby jogger city mini, wheel it up to the gate, then gate check. It�s not precious because it was only $50 and it is very sturdy. We�ve gate checked it about 10 times with no damage. The nice thing is if you�re not trying to hide an expensive folding stroller from the gate agents, you can actually USE the stroller around the airport and right up to the gate.

Unpopular opinion since the Uppa baby vista is rated at #2. I hated that stroller. Sure is it the Cadillac of strollers with a smooth ride. Yes. But it�s so big, bulky, cumbersome, navigating it through busy areas or even just the amount of trunk space it takes up was not worth it, imo. It seems more of a status symbol at this point. We ended up with #14 the baby jogger city mini. It�s a beautiful compact full size stroller that is easy to handle and even easier to handle solo. I used it many times flying solo with my little one all the way up to the gate. I could hold him and still fold the stroller one handed. It moves well, is compact, and easy to navigate through crowds. My only complaint is the seat is a little big for small babies so use and insert or car seat adapter, and the seat does sit rather far back but my kid doesn�t mind. We�ll be using it again with #2

I�ve only had the GT and GT2 and no, I haven�t noticed that :/

I�m weird about germs so I wiped it down each time. They were never overly dirty. It�s actually cheaper to purchase the City Mini than to keep renting it. We used it at DW and DL and other theme parks. It was also great for the walking track around our neighborhood.

Are two single strollers an option? I regret not getting two single strollers - it seems much more compact than any double �compact� stroller out there. We have the donkey which is a nightmare to transport and the city jogger gt for travel/car use but I still kind of hate it and am considering getting two single compact strollers.. but I already have 2 double strollers and I just feel like this is first world problems ??

Great canopy coverage, one hand one second fold, magnetic buckles, no rethread harness, sandal friendly brake. the 3 wheel design allows for easy maneuverability around stores and museums etc.

I rarely had to fold my stroller on the T. That being said, the City Mini GT is an excellent choice- so easy to maneuver and the one-hand fold mechanism is a life-saver.

I'm just a mom who never left this sub with a 5 and 7 year old. I've had the Citi Mini jogger since my daughter was born. Now admittedly it never got particularly heavy heavy use. But it's still holding up. I just used it in Universal with my 5 year old. I thought the wheel was busted but turns out im dumb and it was just locked. I personally used convertible carseats from the start; but there are adaptors you can use to click into this stroller. It lies flat so I just kept it flat when they were tiny; i may have used some kind of cushioning when they were peanuts but I dont remember. Solid stroller, not crazy expensive.

First time mom with a Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 + Graco car seat before our baby graduated to the bucket seat. It's been great so far. Very light and relatively compact, which is important for us since we live in the city and don't have a car, so we're on and off public transit a lot. Handled the snow and ice well when we had our winter newborn. Also really love that the seat folds completely flat. Our little guy is a great stroller napper and it's like we have a little mobile hotel room for him when we're out and about

Another vote for the City Mini GT. I�m a nanny and have pushed everything on the market; City Mini is my absolute favorite.

GT city mini! Got mine used for $90 with snack tray & it was perfect for Disney. My son was almost 2 but he�s 38lb so he�s huge!

We rented a stroller on our first trip with our 7 week old. After renting again two more times before she was 14 months old, we purchased a City Mini. That�s what most people rent. It is so easy to turn, hop on or off curbs, is rather slender, plenty of storage room etc. Our daughter stopped using a stroller when she turned 4. We sold our stroller to another Disney family.

We got a stroller that could clip to our car seat. We looked at travel strollers but a lot of them are not super sturdy, have little space for cargo, don�t lie flat, and they can be tricky to fold. In the end we settled on a used baby jogger city mini as our travel strollers. It�s not compact, but the one handed fold is awesome for when you need to collapse your stroller for public transit or to carry up the stairs (hello Netherlands). It has space to carry the diaper bag, it lays flat and has an awesome shade for naps, and it has big wheels so is good for a variety of terrain and longer walks. We got ours used so it�s not precious and we just gate check it without a bag or cover.

We brought ours last week, city mini GT. It fit perfectly under the bed. Definitely liked having it for the airport. IT was also nice at Castaway Cay since we did the 5k and my son was able to take a nap while we walked.

When I traveled internationally with my four kids two years ago, I needed a stroller for my youngest who was two at the time. I have the Uppa Vista stroller and I really didn�t want to lug that thing around because 1) I was afraid it would get damaged. Happened to a friend of mine who had the same stroller and 2) I just didn�t want to take a bulky one. So I used a city mini stroller I had from when I had my first child 7 years prior. It was a hand me down at the time so it was in pretty used condition by that point. It was a great alternative as I didn�t care what that stroller went through on that trip. It�s definitely nice having a stroller when traveling with a baby/toddler.

I had the baby jogger city mini and I will sing its praises to the high heavens. It was, to me, very expensive, and it was the most expensive thing on my registry - did not expect to receive it. The onw-handed fold and the light weight were life savers multiple times when I had to take the stairs somewhere unexpectedly

Highly recommend biting the bullet and planning on two strollers, or you will end up compromising way too much on ideal qualities of either. We got a Bob stroller with infant attachments and I love that thing still 2.5 years later. It's great for hikes and tougher terrain compared to a standard stroller. I even prefer it for grocery store runs. Any big day trips where I can take up most of the trunk with it, I enjoy using it. We also got a very compact Baby Jogger stroller (note: not a jogging stroller, just the brand name) for longer travel and other tight spaces. It also has infant attachments and we found it useful from early on. For airport travel, I would never want to deal with my Bob. Even for outings at restaurants I highly prefer bringing the compact one, in case little one needs a spot to sleep. I've seen our friends try to bring their unwieldy larger strollers and they are such a hassle in many cases. Also, in general, it's just the more practical way to throw in a stroller "just in case".

The stroller use will last a lot longer than the infant carseat use. Prioritize a stroller that will work for your needs over a compatible travel system that meets your criteria. There is ALWAYS babywearing rather than stroller. I have a friend with a Graco Modes travel system and I absolutely hate the stroller. It rattles SO MUCH and steering is stiff and clunky. BabyJogger City Mini GT bare minimum. We live in a rural village with gravel streets and no sidewalks, so we are no stranger to rougher terrain. My family is also on the farm and we walk the dogs in the pastures sometimes. The City Mini GT can manage the gravel and pastures ok, but there are definitely better options. You can get adapters to click many carseat options into it. BabyJogger City Elite. The bigger, beefier sibling of the City Mini GT. Handles better on gravel for sure. Phil & Ted�s Sport. I had this for the double stroller option and loved it so much. Has the option of carseat adapters and a bassinet. Bumbleride is another great option to consider, and Mountain Buggy.

Baby jogger is owned by Graco but is their luxury line. I LOVE my Baby jogger car seat and stroller. I even got the same brand double stroller for my next!

Definitely look into the Zoe or the Baby Jogger Citi mini (not sure where you�re located but I can easily find a used double Baby Jogger in my area) Wagons aren�t worth flying with because most airlines won�t count it as a stroller and won�t gate check it for you, and will charge you for it as well. I also highly suggest bringing the baby carrier with you as well.

We bought a caddy type stroller (babytrend snap & go) when our twins were first born. Really convenient and easy to take around. I waited until black friday to SPLURGEEEEE on not 1 but 2 babyjoggers ??. Theyre 30% on black friday plus either amazon (15% off) or target (15% + 5% if using red card) completion discount. Getting 2 was only a bit more than getting 1 when not on sale. It worked in our favor bc they were born only a few months away from black friday. Ok we love both the babyjogger double strollers so I imagine the single versions would be amazing as well. The mini gt2 is so smooth and easy to take them shopping and around the city in. Also got the summit x3 because that is an actual jogging stroller (mini gt2 is not). I get such a good workout in with that one. Both worth the purchase and the wait. We still use the caddy as well for more tight places like the doctors office�will be using that one for as long as they fit in their infant carseat.

The baby jogger city mini is great with the car seat attachment. Being able to manipulate it with one hand is rare and priceless

We use a second hand baby jogger city mini as a travel stroller (our day to day stroller is a vista). The city mini has a pretty wide wheelbase at the back but is much narrower than the vista at the front. It�s not small but it folds super easily (one hand) and is sturdy. My main complaint is the basket under the seat is tiny compared the vista. It was only $50 so we�re not precious about it and it can be thrown under a plane or bus without much worry.

We are also car-free and have been since even before our now-6yo was born. It�s totally doable! We had a city mini baby jogger and it worked great, even folded easily to hop on the bus. A cargo bike also helps when your kid is old enough.

I�m just going to be honest, I think the bassinet attachments are a waste. Most strollers will take a bucket car seat with an adapter, and the stroller bassinets are so expensive to only use for a few months. We got the Chico key fit bucket car seat and a baby jogger city mini stroller. Love it. I also suggest checking out wirecutter reviews for baby gear. You�ll get 100 different opinions on here, and it�s nice to see a neutral review of things like durability and price point.

I would check whether your neighborhood has a parents Facebook group � I created a burner FB and it�s been a great way to get baby stuff. I like our City Mini because it folds up very small to take up less space in our little dc rowhouse entry way. It�s very maneuverable for getting onto the bus. However, I find it kind of annoying to get up and down our front steps. Definitely remember that a lot of �city� strollers assume you live in an elevator building. I love baby wearing for city life � I thought it would be totally beyond me to wear a fabric wrap, but with a little practice, that was my favorite way to get around until my baby was about 15 pounds. Then I switched to a low profile buckle carrier (a Happy Baby) and a ring sling around the house.

We got a secondhand Baby Jogger City Mini for a trip to Florida � definitely not rugged terrain, but the stroller was durable and comfortable (and I read that these are the ones Disney rents out at their parks for those reasons, but can�t confirm 100%). More importantly, I�d suggest going secondhand because it�ll likely get beat up in transit. You can also get a travel bag to pop it in at the gate to help keep it clean.

I had the City Mini (probably an older model) for years in Boston and I thought it worked great. We took buses and trains all the time, although I don't think we folded it up very often on public transit because we always had crap (jackets, snacks, water bottles, etc) in the stroller that would have made it difficult to fold up (and my kid was usually sitting in it too). I thought its ruggedness was sufficient, even on snow.

Very different approach, but we use an uppababy vista day to day and got a baby jogger city mini cheap on marketplace to use as our travel stroller. It�s not small or lightweight and doesn�t fit in the overhead, but it�s sturdy and we just gate check it naked (without a bag or any protection). This approach means we don�t have to wrestle it onto the plane or pay for carry on luggage fees to bring it along. Once we get to our destination we have a full functional stroller that can carry a decent amount of gear, lays flat for naps, and has a fully functional sunshade. We�ve flown with it probably a dozen times (and used it for a while at home as a backup when we had an issue with our vista) and it�s still holding up well. The other upside to the city mini is it folds up with one hand in one second, so if you�re traveling somewhere where you�re not allowed to bring an unfolded stroller on transit (London, England, for example) you can fold it up quickly when it�s time to board.

I love the Baby Jogger City Mini GT (the old version). Big wheels, extremely manoeuvrable, easy to fold, and comfortable for a tall child (and a tall parent). It has served me well on cobblestone streets, forest trails, beaches and everything in between. The newest model GT3 has just been released.
