Ditto! It’s great.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->I have it and I have another travel stroller. It’s mostly good with good wheels but I don’t think it lies down flat enough like the other I have ( silvercross jet ) also the basket is def big enough but I find the seat just to be too short and not long enough.

Don't fall for the Uppababy hype. While it is a well built stroller,. it is overkill and after using other lightweight strollers feels way too heavy. They are also too big to travel with imo, even in cars unless you have a big SUV or Van. Great if all you are doing is walking flat ground to the park. One exception is possibly for the first couple months when your baby can't hold their head up yet, then it is nice to have a stroller with a bassinet or car-seat compatible options. Maybe see if you can borrow one for those couple months and then switch to something lighter after. Or just use a carrier for those months. (Although the Joolz does have a bassinet option also) If I was starting over I'd probably just go with one of the Joolz light weight stroller that also is easy to travel with. I've heard good things about the yoyo also. We took the Joolz Aer to Europe, fit in the overhead compartment and handled the cobble stone streets great.
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->This is what we’ve settled on, plus a Doona because we do a lot of plane travel and it seems convenient for that while they’re still little.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.
r/NewParents • Best Overhead Compartment Airplane Stroller ->I got the minu v3 and it seemed so flimsy for the price. Returned it and bought the bugaboo butterfly and I love it so much - one handed fold, super light weight. I’m 5’2 and husband is 6’2 and we both use it comfortably. I tested the AER plus and 2 and this seemed better.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller recommendations ->Yes! I have had the Joolz Aer for 21 months now. One of the reasons I got it was because of the smooth handling and wheels not getting stuck . My sister had a couple different strollers that I hated on city sidewalks cause they weren’t smooth and the wheels randomly stick. I have love the Joolz Aer.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->The Joolz Aer has a bassinet attachment that still allows the stroller to fold up.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->I only have the Joolz Aer and haven't wanted or needed anything else. It just comes down to personal preference. I don't think everyone needs two strollers in NYC. But I think there are some people whose needs or preferences require them to have two. I personally hated my sister's huge strollers, in the city and in the suburbs. I find the Joolz Aer the perfect size for city life and very robust.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->I’m so surprised at everyone mentioning the UPPABABY? That shit is heavy duty and IMO not what the OP is looking for at all. I’d highly recommend the joolzaer. Travel friendly, extremely lux European brand and allows bassinet attachment/ car seat so it’s perfect to use from birth. If you are in a typical urban/city living it will be perfect. If you are in rough terrain, might not be the most ideal but it’s under 7Kg, 8kg basket & fits everywhere and anywhere!!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Ma try mo watch si stroller mom for reviews. Depende kasi yan sa budget at lifestyle mo. Ako kasi ive decided na something handy for travelling pero makakanap si lo pag napagod plus pwede pangharabas sa mall or yun kaya ko and hassle-free kahit kaming 2 lang. i bought joolz aer kasi pwede din ako sumakay haha tapos kaya operate ng 1 hand. Namili nalang ako ng mga sabit sabit for cup holder and sabit ng bag or sa ilalim. Very durable din ??nagamit na ng panganay ko (until 4yo) then ngayon sa nb ko naman kaya sulit ??
r/nanayconfessions • Stroller recommendations ->Leaving Tokyo with our Joolz Aer and it handled well in the narrow train stations and aisles.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →We have the uppababy vista for our main, and then the joolz aer for our travel stroller, and we love it. I went up to Albee Baby on the UWS and tried out all the folding mechanisms (I’d definitely recommend that if you can swing it - they’re so helpful and it was so informative for me). IMO, the joolz was the only true one-hand fold. It was also super light and I loved the stroller strap to carry. We’re about to take it to Europe for a week or so, and based on what everyone told me, it’s going to make the airport a breeze.

r/NewParents • View on Reddit →I have the original Joolz Aer and it can be set up fairly upright for snacking and trying to keep the kiddo awake those last few minutes before getting home too ?? Overall amazing lightweight convenient and spacious stroller we’ve loved the most after owning and renting a bunch of other brands. They don’t use flame retardants and other known toxic stuff in there too, which I love too.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →We have a Vista and a travel stroller (Joolz Aer, but were close to getting a Minu). We love both. I would definitely go Minu as main stroller over Cruz. The upside for the Vista is that it’s a tank (we do full grocery shopping with it) and it is expandable to a double which we now use with 2 kids. The Cruz (IMO) has none of the benefits of either (not expandable for 2, still big/heavy to have in trunk, can’t try to sneak it in for overhead). Friends have used the Minu/Joolz/Nuna TRVL as their primaries and as long as they’re not trying to carry large loads in the basket, they’ve been happy with it. Our sidewalks are beat up, and the Vista made pushing a stroller a dream, but in our Aer we have been able to navigate just fine. (For reference we’ve probably put thousands of miles on our Vista and hundreds on the Aer). The one handed open/close on the Aer for us has been a game changer, and was so clutch when we visited NYC and were navigating the subways which don’t have elevators. It also fits in overhead. Minu is a direct competitor so I think it has the same perks (only diff is that it isn’t certified to meet the airplane requirements unless if they’ve shrunk it slightly, though friends managed to sneak it in overhead). Hope that helps!
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →Where did you buy the International one? I got the Aus one because I was impatient but I sort of regret it. Love everything else about this pram.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I love our Joolz Aer, I reckon we use it more than our regular pram which is the uppababy Cruz. It’s a one handed fold and only 6kgs. Been on multiple flights within Australia and international and never had any issues.

r/nycparents • View on Reddit →I had it thrown in with my first Uppababy pram - i live metro melbourne and found the wheels to always tilt to one side ie super sensitive to uneven pavement. Ended up buying joolz aer and much sturdier! Heard great things about bugaboo butterfly too if want bigger basket space
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I've just flown with my 16 month old and we rented a Joolz Aer to try. My friend has a Butterfly which I've borrowed in the past. Personally I preferred the Joolz slightly, it just felt more maneuverable and lightweight. Both of them fold really easily with one hand, I'm not sure one is better than the other really. Though one advantage of the Butterfly is that it is more popular so it seems much easier to find secondhand and cheaper. Honestly I think you'll be happy with either so maybe just get whatever you can find cheaper.
r/toddlers • View on Reddit →I have a Cybex Gazelle and absolutely love it. It has built in adapters so that you can add another seat when you have your second baby and the weight capacity is the same for the top or bottom seat. The suspension is great, the basket is large, easy to fold and store in the trunk of my SUV, has adapters for the Nuna Pipa car seat, also has a bassinet attachment. I have pushed it with my toddler and infant easily. When we don't feel like using the second rumble seat, my toddler just hops in the basket at the bottom and relaxes comfortably. The shopping basket is also handy. I got the Joolz Aer as a travel stroller and also love it.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →Love the Joolz Aer. I've put in hundreds of miles with it and it's still going strong. I keep waiting for the wheels to eventually wear down. I carry it up and down subway stairs, take it on the bus, etc. Someone had given us a much heavier duty Uppa Baby stroller that we used like three times then never again because we found the Joolz so much more manageable.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →Love our joolz aer. Pricier but very worth it if you can swing it! We’ve always put it overhead without issue. Handled cobblestone all over Portugal well! One handed fold/open, reclines for napping.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Also have a joolz aer and can’t recommend it enough!!
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Love the sturdiness of my Joolz Aer!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →So many options, I’ll tell you what worked for us but there will be so many others. We had a used Joolz Day or Geo for our first child, sold it and when we had our second child (unexpectedly), we bought new Joolz Geo. What we liked was how study it was but you could still dissemble it to go into a small car’s trunk. It had the baby thing to lay in and the upright seat that can be tilted and a load of addons available. BTW these days (kids are 3 and 7), we switched to cargo bike (R+M Load 75) and Ulfbo for trips to parks or Baltic Sea. Life after stroller (can be) expensive but is sooo much fun! Enjoy Berlin
r/berlin • View on Reddit →I have the joolz aer and it’s been great. It’s in great condition after multiple trips and gets used at least once a week. It gets used as much as our vista. I don’t know the concern about the zipper recline but we’ve never had an issue with it!
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →I know it's not on your list but I tried out a few travel strollers at Nordstrom (Libelle, Joolz Aer, Uppababy Minu, and one of the Nunas) and ended up going with the Uppababy Minu. It's supposed to fit in an overhead bin but can't confirm. Ergobaby Metro was on our list.
r/beyondthebump • View on Reddit →It doesn’t lay totally flat but I love the Joolz Aer for airplane travel and everyday use. The one-handed fold can’t be beat and it rides so smoothly.
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →Another vote for the Joolz Aer. We started with the Uppababy Cruz with an Uppababy infant carseat for our 10 month old. I still like the Cruz with the regular stroller seat for days with heavy walking but the Aer is so much more compact/light yet still high quality. The one hand fold mechanism is great too.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →We have a Joolz Aer in a major city and love it.
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →Mine is called the Joolz Aer and it was amazing. Super light and folds up small. Put all stroller basket items in a packing cube so we could grab the cube and fold up the stroller and jump right into the tram.

r/AskSF • View on Reddit →The aer is awesome, we got ours second hand. It is one of the only travel strollers that allows you to add adapters and mount a car seat. We bought it to take on a cruise and we were taking our clek liing on the plane. It worked so seamlessly at the airport. If you have the original aer, can I ask what diaper bag (or any bag) you use with it? The basket is so narrow (esp on version 1) that the only thing that I put in mine is a reusable grocery bag.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Never been happy with Silvercross. We’ve had the Silvercross full bundle - car seat was rubbish and the pram was heavy and impractical. Rucksack and hand warmers were a nice touch. I would avoid any Silvercross products based on my experience. We’ve had the Bugaboo double (side by side, called donkey I think?!) - it’s good but a bit unwieldy, Doona one that converts to a car seat (useful but heavy and uncomfortable for child), Babyzen yo-yo (useful for travel but limited) and the Joolz aer which is great for travel (can get on a plane) and more versatile than the Babyzen so it can be used more like a normal pram - it’s been my favourite travel pram. On a side note, the Cybex car seats that rotate are amazing.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →We love our joolz aer and have taken it on many trips! It’s also the one I keep in my car now because it’s so handy for quick errands/mall walks
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →This one has been great for us. Nice and easy fold down while traveling is key.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Ugh, we went to the UK just a couple months after I bought ours. I should have just waited.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →Also a Cruz and ergo family. The big attraction for me was the price point. Yes I loved the aer and the butterfly, but holy heck was I not about to drop $600+ for a stroller that isn’t even my main one.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →We have the Joolz Aer - we’re on pram number four for our 2nd. It’s a great travel pushchair and better than the yoyo due to one handed close. We have the Joolz Geo 2 as our main big pram. Wouldn’t recommend. I like the lifetime warranty, and it’s sturdy. It’s just very bulky in the car boot and it’s heavy.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I’ve used my Joolz Aer for the last 4 years and absolutely love it. We recently got the Cybex Beezy for our second baby and my husband likes it slightly more for bumpier terrain.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →In the city the Joolz Aer. Everyone raves about the yoyo but I find it very low. If you want a more sturdy one also consider uppa baby. They are fab and the customer service is really good. 3 year guarantee and even outside that they will repair really cheaply (£65 for new brake and wheel including courier picking up and delivering back).
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I have a travel stroller. Most people I know stopped using a full or mid-size stroller by the time their child reached 18 months. They bought a travel stroller. I did a ton of stroller research. I tried a lot of friends strollers. The Yoyo is tricky to close and has a small basket. I don’t like it. The aer also has a tiny basket. I had a Minu, not the strollers fault, someone crushed it by dropping their full size stroller on it at daycare. I replaced it with the Butterfly because my son is tall. I prefer the Minu. It folds even with stuff in the basket that's not the case with most travel strollers. Full and mid size strollers don't fit in boutique or cornerstone aisles. So you'll be leaving it outside. Also remember your 8 month old will be a 2 year old. Not all subway stations have elevators. You can't carry a mid-size stroller by yourself. You want something you can carry with one hand your child's hand in the other.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →We use a travel stroller 100% of the time, two kids. I almost bought a Yoyo but stopped at Spouts on Union to test it and the Joolz Aer was far easier to close one handed than the Yoyo. So I recommend that. Its about 20 months old of daily use and wheels are fine. My first kid I had a heavy larger stroller and I’d hit corners and doors in stores all the door and one time the BART elevator was broken and then the escalator stairs broke half way up. Because it was mid day and lots of SF folks are peter panning themselves, no one helped me drag it upstairs. That sucked. That was the last time I used that stroller and transitioned 100% to travel stroller use. Also my first kid preferred to be baby carriered. My 2nd kid hated it after infancy - so each their own there.
r/AskSF • View on Reddit →I think the Fox or Uppa Baby Vista probably makes sense as it sounds like you’re in the London suburbs rather than Zone 1 or 2. We live in the Home Counties and our Bugaboo Fox was barely used as it can’t cope with wet and muddy ground and we found it a bit too big around town. We ended up with a Joolz Aer and a proper outdoor buggy (Out n About). I really like the look of the Bugaboo Dragonfly as one of the downsides of the Joolz Aer/Butterfly/Yoyo is that you have to forward face as soon as they’re ready for the seat. The Dragonfly allows for a parent facing seat. Not all kids are ready to face forward at 6m as it can be sensory overload. Just as a word of warning, most luxury “all terrain” buggies won’t with go in the woods in anything other than dry summer weather. Once there’s a bit of mud on the ground, mud gets stuck in the wheel covers and you will spend half your time fishing it out with a stick.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I love the joolz aer. My only complaint is that the basket is very small. It is the perfect travel stroller. We travel a ton via plane and train. It also folds up nicely for restaurants and appointments
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →General consensus is Joolz Aer usurped the yoyo for best lightweight travel stroller that fits in an airplane overhead. Swiv and triv are like light and easy to fold versions of the uppababy cruz. Triv/swiv allow the chair to face backwards towards a part which some people like during the transition out of the bassinet. Other parents don't care going straight to forward facing seats. The new joolz aer has a full recline which means you might be able skip buying a bassinet attachment if you feel comfortable strapping in the newborn. It seems like the hive mind 5 years ago was either yoyo or uppababy cruz. But these days it's definitely joolz aer, but a toss up between uppababy or nuna for the cruz/triv/swiv form factor. Cruz is harder to fold and bigger folded, but more durable. Triv/swiv is smaller folder, lighter, and has a one handed fold at the cost of durability. If you have an elevator building and storage space uppababy seems nice.... But if you need to carry a stroller up stairs in a walk up brownstone the lightweight nuna strollers might be a better option. I have both a swiv and aer+. I like having both for different types of outings. But probably should have gotten a used joolz aer to save money as a travel beater stroller.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →We got the skip 3 recently and am loving it so far. Had the yoyo 2 previously that I got second hand off fb marketplace and so many little things annoyed me so I wanted to replace it. Also liked the Joolz aer bt the price was a bit steep and skip was just a bit cheaper. Bugaboo looks good too (sister has it) but it didn’t have a bassinet option that I wanted in case for bubs coming in November.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →Book a car service with a car seat to and from the airport (I've always used Arecibo). Travel strollers are great for the subway. I have a Yoyo, which also fits in airplane overhead bins. If you're going to be folding and unfolding a lot, the Joolz Aer has a one-hand fold (it might also fit in overhead, I'm not sure).
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →We love our Cybex e gazelle but it’s v heavy, wouldn’t want to be taking it in and out of the car every day. It’s also huge so hard to fit in some small shops and cafes round here. Our friends have the bugaboo and really like it. We also have a joolz aer for quick appointments/holidays and it’s amazing, so light. If it wasn’t for the lack of storage space, we’d probably use this as our full time pram.
