gb - Pockit+ All-Terrain

Any double stroller is really too big. Besides the size when using it, you also have to have space for it in your room. For two kids I would use two really cheap umbrella strollers. We just have one child, but we are taking her on her first cruise in December. We are taking the Stokke Yoyo. It folds up small enough to fit in an overhead bin and comes with a carrying strap. We also have the GB Pockit+ but it takes two hands to push so I think the Yoyo will be better.

For the subway or bus you’ll want to go smaller than the Vista, like a minu, gb pockit, yoyozen etc. even on the buses with stroller parking, the area is sometimes a bit too tight for a vista. for general sidewalk use the vista is pretty good though, can feel a bit big in crowded areas but comes in handy on uneven sidewalk.

We love the GB pockit + stroller. It's lightweight (I think 13lbs) and fits into the overhead compartment. We even found a travel backpack made specifically for it on Amazon. Very easy to open and close, can lay back, and had the umbrella hood.

You need a stroller. I’ve done these trips with and without and def prefer lugging one around. Look into the GB pockit if within budget

It isn’t super cheap but we love our GB Pockit+ stroller. It folds up into a backpack and fits in an overhead bin. We took it to Scotland and Paris last fall, Disney, and use it around town. We did get a backpack and rain cover for it.

We have a gb pockit that we really like. We got it on GoodBuyGear for $140.

Personal take is don't spend too much on it. And see if you have friends who don't need it or get trusted second hand. There are too many variations for different stages, not worth throwing too much money. I bought a freaking huge stroller first hand at a mother fair. Realise while it is good for going out (can carry a lot of things), loading to a cab is tricky (don't drive). Further down when kid slightly older and when travelling, you will want a compact stroller that the kid can sleep in. That has been my main for the past few years. Got a few Pockit+ from carousell at cheap. If spoil when travel, at least won't heart pain.

I have the GB Pockit+ which is so compact that it folds up and can be put in the overhead bin. It also has Nuna adapters so I was able to attach our infant seat to it. As someone else mentioned, most car seats can be put in a car without a base and just using the anchors and/or the seat belt so no need to bring a base. We flew with our son at 3 months and it was a breeze with the Pockit/Nuna combo.

Yeah, we have the Vista v2 and a GB Pockit. They're both great at what they do but they are very different strollers with different use cases. That said, we have 2u2 so the Vista is getting a workout these days ??

I have the GB Pockit which markets itself as the most compact stroller. Remember, just because it can fit in the overhead bin doesn't mean they will let you bring it on the plane. I've heard of various people being told that strollers can't be put in the overhead bins. I suppose to prevent this you could put it in a bag so that it doesn't appear to be a stroller.

For holidays we use a GB pockit plus. Folds up small enough to put in the overhead storage on aeroplane. Reclines flat enough. Comes with a sun shade and a rain cover. It lives in the boot of the car when not travelling the globe because it takes up no space at all and is perfect for mooching around town.

As long as you have space under the seat, it fits!

Yessss! Compact fold is so key for us, autism parents (rather special need parents in general) travel with so much that we very little bit of space matters. I really like how our GB pockit stroller folds but it is not for bigger kids by any means. It’s also not a very smooth ride and the canopy is very minimal. Another important feature is an under basket or maybe a larger pocket on the backside of the seat for storage. Tray or cup holder? Strollers are expensive and I hate having to buy all the accessories on top of the base price

The GB Pockit. They’re pricey but look on resale sites to find them cheaper. Worth every penny.

We have the same two! Vista is amazing, versatile, smooth ride, huge storage on the bottom. Pockit is nice for plane travel

I took my son's stroller. He was about 19 months at the time. We used the GB Pockit because it folds up small. I definitely wouldn't have been able to make the walk at Lookout Cay without it. It did fit in the corridor. Under the bed is big enough to fit luggage and the stroller.

We got the joolz aer2 for travel with adapters. Previously we had the gb pockit, which folds up super tiny (under seat tiny) but just doesn’t have as easy a fold. We kept both but intend to travel with the aer2

We have the GBpockit but I recommend for 5’7” and below. I’m 5’9” and it’s not quite comfortable for me. All in all though it’s so affordable and holds up great.

Not umbrella trolley, but we have gb pockit all terrain plus (version without plus is slightly smaller, and I had impression that it was getting less comfortable for my 3.5 year old so plus should last you longer). It folds really small and is great for travelling. We bought it second hand, it's cheaper than yoyo stroller. Only issue is when you need to travel on uneven terrain, like pebble roads, but it's the same for any other stroller with small wheels.

We’ve brought our nuna tavo to Italy 4+ times and that brand can take a beating! It’s done great and even been great napping while going over all cobblestone and everything. We almost bought the TRVL in Italy because we loved it so much and the Tavo takes up so.much.space. We’ve also take. The GB Pocket+ and its great as well I’m just not a super fan of the way babies sit in it and it takes two hands. I would not not not take a doona to Italy. Did you book your baby a seat? We are going in a month and he’s on our lap(also will be 10mo!) I’m bringing: -Konny wrap -wild bird carrier - nuna tavo or TRVL -renting car seat*** ***we have a nuna pippa in Italy that was lost luggage and has been found and we can go claim ??

As someone with a GB pockit that fits in the overhead, gate agents love having one less stroller to gate check. Gate checking isn’t a problem—I’ve done it with strollers before—but it’s one less thing to deal with. I have the stroller, it will not get lost o r break. I have also fit ours under the seat in front of us when my first graduated to her own seat. They don’t need the legroom!

I can tell you what NOT to get: The GB Pock it. It should be better for older toddlers, but my 14m old was in such a bad position and we couldn't put her more upright.

We have a gb pokit and love it. Really great in the airport. One of our flights got delayed and it was super late when we boarded and was so handy being able to wheel her the whole way to her seat and then stash it and get straight to cuddles and sleep. Also when not traveling it’s so small you can sometimes take it places when you might need it but might not and it’s not a massive inconvenience to have in the car or tucked away somewhere so we’ve got more use out of it than we thought.

Lookout and castaway have wagons and strollers for general use! We brought our gb pockit too for the airport mainly but kept it folded most of the cruise

We travel a lot and don't know what we'd do without the GB Pocket stroller! If you plan on air travel or just going around town, I highly recommend this one. You can take it on board with you which saves so much time avoiding gate checking . We use it with adapters for the Clek Liing car seat, but we have several adapters for it. We also love the Baby Jogger City for a slightly larger stroller.

I have the GB pockit as well! I initially bought it for Disneyland, but with the intent of using it on flights. You can store it under the seat too, right? Or does it have to be in the overhead bin?

We have a Gb pockit. It folds down really small and can fit in the overhead bin with ease. We really like it.

Personally we wouldn’t bring our stroller for our 3.5 yr old. We even have to GB pocket stroller and never bring it anymore. Just becomes extra luggage…. Our daughter is a walker and if she gets tired or we need to go faster we throw her on the roller suitcase or shoulders.

We have a Britax stroller and car seat that match. Ended up buying a used jogging stroller which we love for our trail walks. Also bought a gb pockit for travel. And then recently added the Evenflo pivot xplore wagon. The wagon has been amazing now that she's older. Great for things like the zoo.

I have hello mockingbird specifically because I wanted it to go from a single to a double stroller when I have my second kid. Definitely does NOT maneuver like butter like the uppababy stroller owner in the previous comment mentions I really wish it did though. It makes it especially hard when you have two kids. It does what it’s suppose to do though and I like how it looks, but it is unbelievably bulky and takes up a lot of space in the trunk. And considering it is a single to a double I would imagine that’s somewhat normal, but even before I had my second child, there was still a lot of space being taken. I just really didn’t like the idea that the uppababy stroller was literally twice as much as my stroller and I couldn’t mentally accept paying that much. Although everyone that I spoke to that has that stroller has only good things to say about it so if you’re OK with spending the money then I would just do that. As for travel strollers, I got the GB pocket stroller. I love it because it folds very small and it goes in the upper head compartment of an airplane. That’s important to me because airlines will break your stroller and they are so hard to get a hold of if they do break it. It’s definitely not the scariest and the storage compartment is tiny so you do need a regular stroller on top of that. But it’s very small light inconvenient for travel purposes.

I have the gb pockit and it folds soooo small and it's quite light while feeling like it's sturdy.

GB Pockit. Just used it with my year old on few of our 30,000 step days in Paris and it was helpful, plus folds up very small.

 I have no idea if they're still around, but I had a gb pockit stroller when my oldest was a toddler, and it was perfect for Boston, air travel, and Disney. It folded up and came with a tote bag. 

I have a Cruz and a Yoyo. My son is now 2 and I almost exclusively use the Yoyo. However, the Cruz is much better on the streets and more comfortable for both the child and the adults.  That being said, I wouldn’t recommend the Yoyo as a primary stroller for an infant. It works for us now because my son is 2 and walks a lot while we’re out.  We started with the Cruz and got a GB Pockit for travel and that was the worst purchase I ever made. That stroller is garbage. So I switched to the Yoyo which has been a wonderful replacement. I still think the Cruz is the best and was really great for our family before my son was a confident walker. It doesn’t make sense to use it now unless we need to carry a lot of stuff with us, go grocery shopping, or go to Prospect Park. There will be no perfect solution. You really won’t know what works for you until you’re out in the world with your baby and that might be 2 strollers. I don’t like buying more than I need and I resisted getting the Yoyo but am so glad I did. It’s been great for airplane travel, too!

The GB Pockit is really easy to travel with.

Yes. Bring a stroller. Even if you babywear, the stroller just helps you carry all the other stuff you need when traveling with a baby. The extra time through security is absolutely worth all the energy savings as you go through the airport. We bought a cheap stroller on Amazon that we use for travel. First gate check and the frame was a little bent. Still very usable but definitely meant we had no interest in traveling with our Uppababy that cost like $2k (Canadian prices). I know they sell a special bag thst insures your stroller but the headache of all that admin work with a little one wasn't worth it to us personally. Also hit or miss whether the airline will let you gatecheck it. You can also consider strollers that can be carried onto the flight and stored under the seat. We were gifted a Pockit that does this that we will be using for baby #2.

I didn’t read all the posts before posting mine but…I’m a midtown girl with two kids now. Someone mentioned that strollers are very neighborhood specific. In midtown, I need agility, need to fit on buses and trains and need a super easy fold to fit in my apartment hallway. Also wanted good handling for broken sidewalks and inconsistent ramps. A decent basket was a plus. I chose the Nuna TRVL. Not cheap but has a bit more heft and bigger wheels than the butterfly and aer. (Though the butterfly improvements are intriguing to me). Downside to TRVL is it’s not guaranteed to fit in an airplane overhead bin. We’ve fit it twice internationally but haven’t tried domestic/smaller planes. The TRVL handles really well. I’ve gotten so used to popping up the front wheels when I see something uneven. It’s second nature now. Because you can hit something and come to an abrupt stop. The basket is big enough for a trip to the grocery store. And when you have a kid in the stroller, you can hang a bag or backpack on the handles. But remove it before taking your kid out or the stroller will tip. It’s light enough to carry up and down stairs but I don’t want to carry it super long. The fold is the best on the market. Literally folds itself and stands up well. I researched a ton and even ended up with the TRVL double when baby two came. I love the TRVL as my daily stroller and don’t think it gets enough love. I could never deal with a big stroller. I don’t love using my double stroller as I just take up way too much room in the world. Ha. All this being said, I also have the GB pockit for airplane travel and trips that we want to be super minimal. But the fold and push is way more cumbersome. Not a good daily stroller at all.

We have the Pockit Plus and hate it. It’s feels so flimsy and rickety. Our tiny (growth hormone deficient) child looked cramped in it when she was 1.5 years old. And the seat doesn’t sit all the way upright so she was always slouching and looked uncomfortable. Honestly, it’s my biggest baby gear regret.
