Depends how your going to be using your stroller. If your going to be walking/jogging down that dirt road regularly or be in rural areas a lot, your gonna want some sort of jogger stroller or something with inflatable wheels. If your going to keep it in your vehicle and use it for when your going shopping in the city, going out to eat, and use it for an urban sort of lifestyle, with tad bits of times you walk the stroller on gravel, grass, etc, maybe a good all terrain full stroller with good suspension like Uppababy Cruz, Nuna Mixx Next, Bugaboo Fox 5. If you want something more budget friendly in this category maybe the Chicco Corso or Bravo stroller,Graco Modes Nest 2 grow. Jogger strollers include BabyJogger city mini gt, Thule Urban Glide, Guava Roam, Uppababy Ridge, etc. A carseat is 100% necessary, so no matter what, that should be the 1st thing you look at. Find 1 you like, then look at what strollers its compatible with (usually you might have to buy a separate adapter if you use a different brand of carseat from the stroller). You can always look at what strollers already come as part of a bundled travel system with that carseat. But before you even get started looking at carseats, you need to make a decision ifbyour going to use an Infant Carseat (pill bug looking seats), or a convertible carseat (the big ones that stay in a vehicle), or both.

I have the Chicco KeyFit 35 and the Corso Modular and love it. Also looked into a rotating infant car seat however we always take the entire car seat out because we live in a very hot climate so we like to keep the car seat inside and it’s easier to buckle her in when we are in the house and just pop the car seat in. Also love the stroller. We walk about 5 miles a day between my husband and I and we both love it. Very easy to open and close and put in our van.

We did a Chico stroller and car seat combo for our first. Taking the car seat out of the car and dropping it right into the stroller was great. We took that thing everywhere, even thru airports, on planes, Disney, etc. used it for our 3 other kids as well and now it’s sitting in my garage shelf 9 years later. When we had #2 the UBs had come out and we went to test drive them..the 1x1 configuration made it so hard to turn we ended up getting a citi-mini double. Also have taken that to Disney, and Europe, and still have it. We did end up getting a UB Umbrella for when we didn’t need the double and for easier portability. Still got that one too! Yeah the UB is the BMW of strollers, but you might end up wanting / needing another stroller depending on your needs anyway, so save some coin and use it for diapers!

Until I had 2 kids and upgraded to a side-by-side double stroller, I never felt like I needed anything other than my Chicco Corso LE, and I chose it over the UB V2. It might be worth looking into to see if it meets your criteria.

Yes, got a corso used and am so happy with it! Opening a door is no problem since I'm able to maneuver the stroller easily with one hand. Then there are 3 positions, one being almost all the way back (so baby is basically laying down) so if you have a young baby, or a baby that likes laying down (like my baby did) then it is perfect! As well as having the seat facing you or outward facing

Check second hand stores and buy nothing locally first, lots of second hand strollers out there. I have the Chicco corso and love it but I don’t know anything about the bravo but I see a lot of them around so I assume they’re fine. I’d actually grab a wrap as I used that a lot more early on. We have the Chicco corso LE and really like it. The infant carseat lasted us around 10 months before we ended up swapping it for a 360 seat because my kid is big, but while we were using it, the function of putting the car seat onto the stroller was super easy and could be done by one person. My kid is almost 2 now and the stroller is still going strong. It’s really durable and a smooth ride. It’s a little bit heavy and folded up it’s not that compact but it’s still pretty easy to fold up and we’re able to pack it up in our trunk with a couple of carryon sized suitcases without problems. Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve gone with a higher end stroller but for the frequency we use it (maybe once or twice a week during her first year and less often now that she can walk) this one is great.

We bought the Chicco Corso travel system and I absolutely love it. It’s super easy to switch the attachments to either snap the car seat in or smart the modular seat in. We also had the infant insert so that baby could use the modular seat from the newborn stage. We use the car seat click in attachment when we’re just running into the store quickly and use the seat for all other times.

I have the Chico keyfit 35 travel set (meaning in got the carseat and stroller together). The seat base is SO EASY to move from one vehicle to another if you can't afford 2 bases off the bat. The stroller is also an easy pop open, and then pull a lever to close, but my biggest complaint is the weight. There's no way I could have carried baby and carseat or gotten the stroller out of my SUV's back end without my husband's help for my 6 week pp appointment.

Lucie’s List helped me so much when making my registry. The founder goes through tons of options, their pros and cons, price points, etc. it can help you think through what’s most important to you and will fit your lifestyle. I personally wanted an infant car seat with a click in base that had the anti-rebound bar. Having the travel system just made sense to me, so once I picked the car seat, I went with the travel system that included that seat. We got the Chicco Corso and love it!

We went with Chicco Corso LE because I kept reading at the time (about 2 yrs ago) that it was pretty comparable to Nuna systems. I can’t really speak to the comparison because I don’t have a Nuna but it’s been great for us. We still like the stroller a lot (my kid is now 20 months old); it’s sturdy and comfortable to use and works well on any terrain. It’s easy to fold up; one complaint might be that if you don’t have much trunk space it will take up a lot of your trunk (we ended up getting a cheaper travel stroller for road trips). The infant car seat is pretty easy to install and really easy to get onto the stroller. It lasted us around 10 months and we ended up switching it out for a 360 car seat (also chicco) because our kid is big and we were having a hard time getting her into the infant seat. But the carseat that comes with the travel system is good up to 35 lbs IIRC.

I have the Chicco corso LE, we love it and I LOVE not having an unnecessary bassinet attachment taking up space in my house! The infant insert makes it completely lie flat and it actually feels safer than the bassinets because baby is buckled in. Luxury look and feel for half the price. Huge storage basket and the cup holder is a nice add, too. Highly recommend.

Chicco Corso Le- Converts, under $1000 (actually got it for an additional $100off), grey options with brown handles (we got the light gray/veranda), durable wheels (we like a lot of trail walking), also helps that their car seats are top rated in safety and comfort (yes I know all car seats pass a safety test pls don’t come for me): https://www.chiccousa.com/shop-our-products/travel-systems/corso-le-modular-travel-system/79563.html?srsltid=AfmBOop4urD9m1VGyKZE6QqXU9O_RuZLeUC4N-j7z2rw2yAOg6Ww4uZo The only thing it doesn’t have is the snack tray and the organizer but I’m getting a mom cozy one to attack to the handles. For me it wasn’t a deal breaker because it keeps the stroller light and not bulky. Their bravo system does include both though!

we got Chicco corso LE travel system since its the cheapest one that has rubber wheels. It comes with the Chicco Car seat that is considered on of the safest car seats and can be used attached to the travel system when the baby is really small. Then it has the toddler base for when the baby is bigger than 35lbs till he/she is 50lbs. Its easily foldable with one hand and can be put in trunk of the regular sedan. I could have went and bought Gracco since they are even cheaper but they do not sell strollers with rubber wheels which are the most reliable on the uneven surfaces or winter time. You can get 15% completion discount on the amazon if you add it as part of your registry which if you have amazon prime card would get you total of 20% off the travel system. Personally not sure on the diaper bag. I was thinking of using regular backpack since I have ton of those and then buying portable diaper changing bag.

Non-luxury stroller option: I haven’t seen this mentioned here but the Chicco Corso travel system seems perfect for you. Practical price point, super easy fold so you can throw it in the car, reversible seat, big tires (so good for walks in the neighborhood), and huge storage basket. It’s held full grocery loads for me. It’s a great catch-all stroller and suitable from birth with the infant insert because it reclines all the way back. The only con might be that it’s not super lightweight, but since the fold is one handed, it makes it a much better car stroller than one you need to two hands for. If you want something that’s good for longer walks and for errands, this is a great choice. We love ours!

Nobody here has said the Chicco Corso yet, but the lie back seat is awesome and the Keyfit 35 car seat blows almost any other car seat out of the water with safety reviews if you’re looking for a travel system. The Corso looks luxury with a mid-range price. Highly recommend.

I used a chicco keyfit 35 + chicco caddy as needed for my “doona replacement” for Ubers/travel and I thought it was perfect. Two pieces, yes, but both very lightweight and easy to travel with. Plus, affordable (i got the caddy secondhand and barely used for $30) and safer (at least judging by the fact that doona is not legal in Canada).

I have a skip hop and one of the straps that clips onto the shopping cart broke one of the first few times I used it. Based on safety ratings I went with the chicco key fit 35 travel system with the corso modular LE stroller. It is a bit flawed though. It lays down all the way but isn’t completely flat. It doesn’t come with the newborn insert if you’re buying it in the travel system. The seat doesn’t sit at a 90 degree angle so the child is always a bit reclined on it which is problematic when they get older and want to look around. No snack track. I bought a universal one and had to return it since the seat is too far back baby couldn’t reach it. Ride is smooth and storage space is great though. We are left wanting a new affordable stroller that isn’t flawed in those areas. Especially now that she is zoo age. Also don’t get a truck unless there’s a waterproof cover. You can’t have a stroller on the back sliding around when it’s raining. And you don’t want to put something big and bulky like that in the cab.

I just bought the Chicco Corso LE travel system (with the keyfit 35 infant car seat included) and it seems like it's going to be great! It's stylish, lightweight but sturdy, tires seem very hardy and steering feels smooth, the one-handed fold/unfold is super easy, and the modular configurations are really user-friendly. I was worried about the non-adjustable handlebar since I think the height is geared more towards folks taller than me (I'm 5'2) but honestly it seems totally fine. Can't speak to its utility beyond that since I'm not due til late June though :) We also tried the Nuna pipa/TRIV system and found it lovely but also could not justify the cost. I think what we got will be an excellent alternative.

I don’t have any experience with the Joie, although I’ve heard good things about the brand. I loved my Corso LE travel system though. My son is 2, and we still use the stroller regularly. It is slightly bulky, but it’s also incredibly easy to open/close and drives really smoothly, even on uneven surfaces.

Second the Chicco Corso LE! But weighing in as an over-analyzer! I researched high and low and landed on the Chicco Corso LE for these key features: - The ease of moving car seat from car base to stroller. - The ability to continue to use it as she grows by changing to the toddler seat. - Foam wheels for varied terrain (we have gravel trails in our neighborhood) - Easy one handed collapse for loading up into the car. - UPF protection with sun shade - Ability to interchange between parent facing and front facing - Storage underneath (Doona was a no-go because we needed storage) - Trusted brand for safety in mind It does not have a bassinet, but hindsight that was just fine for us since we tried to limit the amount of time in the stroller anyway and were cautious to limit container usage as a whole. It does not have an adjustable handlebar for height, but both myself and my husband find it to be a comfortable height (I’m 5’6” and he’s 6’0”). Price was perfect for the value we get from it. The more expensive models just weren’t in our budget and we didn’t want to spend that much on this when there’s so many other baby items you have to get. We also watched for sales and it was about exactly a year ago that Chicco did an early Black Friday sale and did 30% off site-wide, which I hear they do maybe once a year. Snagged it and have never regretted it!

I have the same one, been using it for 5 months. The stroller itself is very steady and even has a traversing mode. The only thing I would say about it is that it feels bulky at times. The stroller (without the seat) takes up a lot of the trunk space even when folded. It can be a lot when bringing into restaurants or smaller spaces. If we could redo it, we would've liked a more compact system. Overall, it's still a great choice.

I have the Chicco Corso and love it! We bought the LE, but if you do get it, I would recommend getting the Primo Cleartex one. It comes with the infant insert (we bought this separately) and the cleartex car seat that has the comfier car seat padding. We bought a second infant car seat (the cleartex one) for the other car and our son seemed to like being in that one more which I get because the material is softer and comfier than the material that comes in the car seat in the LE. But my son is 5 months old (he’s about 19lbs now and was 26” at his last height check over a month ago) and was starting to look a little cramped and it was getting harder to grab the straps from behind him since they’d fall if I positioned them so it wouldn’t be as hard, so we just moved him up to his big boy seat. But we’re still using the stroller with the modular seat and love it. For the car seat, he loved it. When we put him in before leaving the hospital he didn’t cry and just got comfy in it for the drive home. He did start crying for going in or out, but would settle pretty easy and seemed to like his car seat. We use the stroller daily and I think my only real problem with it is that the seat doesn’t go completely upright at 90° and has maybe 3-4 positions from flat to it’s most inclined position so when he was first learning to sit up, he kept pulling himself forward against the straps. (As a side note, the mockingbird single to double is the only stroller I’ve seen that has an upright position and it is in the running for a future double stroller.) The stroller basket is supposed to be for up to 10lbs, but I frequently put way more than 10lbs and it holds. Ive put quite a few heavy soup cans with our other groceries and my heavy purse in the basket and it’s held and doesn’t show any signs of it going out despite me constantly being way over its limit. The Corso doesn’t fold up to fit in an airplane overhead bin (though I question if any can because I haven’t found one that has reviews of people saying they used it specifically in the overhead bin on ______ airline) and can be a little bulky if you leave the attachments on. I personally take the seat off and throw it into the back of our intermediate sized suvs. I’ve been able to fit the stroller, a diaper caddy that stays in the car, and all the Costco groceries in the back of our car while still being able to see out the back window. I don’t have this stroller, but I contemplated getting the Uppababy Minu v3 as an additional stroller so I don’t have to keep pulling the one we currently have in and out of the car when we want to go on walks. It’s a travel stroller that can supposedly fit in the overhead bin, but also a disclaimer that it’s up to airline staff whether they’ll let it on the plane or not. The pictures show it fold up pretty compact and it is compatible with their two Uppababy car seats and I think a couple nuna ones, but you do have to buy their adapters. If you wanted the snack tray or a stroller organizer, you’d have to buy those separately. And I know for a fact that they sell a travel bag for the stroller on the website so I think this stroller would meet your needs, I just don’t personally have it and cannot give an opinion on it.
