We have the bugaboo fox 5 and we're really happy with it. I think we tried out every pram in the UK before deciding! It pushes really nicely. The bassinet is bulky in the car though. It depends on your lifestyle. I wouldn't want to be taking it on the underground but we live in the North West in a semi-rural location and it's absolutely ideal
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Choosing pram. Recommendations? ->My wife and I are also torn between the cove and fox 5. One thing we liked about the Cove is that you get a separate bassinet and seat whereas th Fox 5 uses the fabric from The bassinet for the seat. The seat on the Cove lays near flat whereas the Fox 5 it doesn’t(I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t). We found the Silvercross felt lighter and looked better than the Fox 5. The only thing we liked about the fox 5 in comparison to the silver cross was the bassinet collapsed however, it was significantly heavier than the silver cross’ bassinet
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Choosing pram. Recommendations? ->We just checked on a bugaboo fox 5, we bought the travel bag from bugaboo. Figured we paid so much for the stroller it was worth protecting. My husband did a few trial pack downs at home first. It only took 5 mins when we were at the airport. Arrived and assembled and all in perfect condition, i’m glad we bought it!
r/beyondthebump • Traveling with strollers ->Depends how your going to be using your stroller. If your going to be walking/jogging down that dirt road regularly or be in rural areas a lot, your gonna want some sort of jogger stroller or something with inflatable wheels. If your going to keep it in your vehicle and use it for when your going shopping in the city, going out to eat, and use it for an urban sort of lifestyle, with tad bits of times you walk the stroller on gravel, grass, etc, maybe a good all terrain full stroller with good suspension like Uppababy Cruz, Nuna Mixx Next, Bugaboo Fox 5. If you want something more budget friendly in this category maybe the Chicco Corso or Bravo stroller,Graco Modes Nest 2 grow. Jogger strollers include BabyJogger city mini gt, Thule Urban Glide, Guava Roam, Uppababy Ridge, etc. A carseat is 100% necessary, so no matter what, that should be the 1st thing you look at. Find 1 you like, then look at what strollers its compatible with (usually you might have to buy a separate adapter if you use a different brand of carseat from the stroller). You can always look at what strollers already come as part of a bundled travel system with that carseat. But before you even get started looking at carseats, you need to make a decision ifbyour going to use an Infant Carseat (pill bug looking seats), or a convertible carseat (the big ones that stay in a vehicle), or both.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system fit for all terrain? ->My time to shine as I've bought way too many prams (let's just ignore that financial irresponsibility). A few questions to ask yourself: - Will you want more than one kid? - How is the access to your house - Where do you live and how do you go out and about I will list some pros and cons for the ones I've had. - Yoyo - small canopy and smaller overall for a pram, even for a compact one, airline compliant, it does require two hands to fold it down - I've had two of these, one with me and one with my parents, ended up using a couple of times each - terrible on cobblestone - Joolz Aer+ - my favourite compact one, the canopy is huge (meaning that you can extend it to get the baby to sleep and almost no light passes) more stable and has significantly more space than the yoyo, lays down flat. It is also possible to fold it with one hand and carry it on the side on the tube - Icandy orange - if you want kids close by this will save you a few headaches. You can transform it into a double and it has an integrated buggy board, the basket holds a lot and it is easy access (seats are quite small), the sweet spot for this one is when your second kid is between 6 months and 16 months and your oldest is too big for a pram but can't walk a lot (between 2.5 and 4 I would say). The integrated buggy board for perfect for us during these months - other parents were kicking their buggy boards and always having to lift it up, walking on the side of the pram and I was cruising. I believe they have a new version now that icandy core? Which has an integrated buggy board and possibility of having different wheels. This pram is very bulky but great for country side walks, very stable, height adjustable handle. Again, very bulky but hey, a child can even fit on the basket - Bugaboo fox - amazing canopy, again, if your baby naps on the pram, you want this. Better looking than the Icandy Orange. Still behaves pretty well "off road". Folds a bit smaller than the Icandy and the seat fits a bigger child when comparing to the Icandy (I would say a much bigger child). If you are planning for one child only I would go with this one as a big pram. For 2, you will have to add an annoying buggy board that will be kicked and will be uncomfortable. Still bulky and not practical going up and down stairs but better than the Icandy - Double Britax - fits 2 kids up to 22kg each, got it for a holiday, used twice, easy to maneuver but very bulky, one more mm and would not fit on our garden door - if you need a double pram it is a good solution but if not twins you are probably better with a normal one. The canopy extends but it is mesh on the top, therefore light still passes (but you can see the children) - Out n About runner - very stable, I don't run but this is very cool and stable. We usually use it for travelling by train or when we feel like a bigger pram will be needed. It can fit two children sitting inside - a 4 yo can still nap inside if required. Very short canopy And I think these are the most relevant. If you are only going to buy one, I would say the Joolz aer, it is quite stable for a small pram and spacious as well. I, somehow, never liked any silvercross but I do see some people with it, for me, they never had a feature that would make me buy them (and I bought a lot of prams)
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Choosing pram. Recommendations? ->The one I own now bugaboo fox 5 but if all I cared about was style I’d get the silver cross reef 2
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller… ->This could/should be your travel pram (I love mine) but judging by the others you like, I think you are also after a more sturdy traditional pram which I would recommend particularly for newborn phase. I would second the calls for either the Bugaboo Fox or UppaBaby Vista. Very reliable, sturdy and spacious.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Choosing pram. Recommendations? ->We have a bugaboo fox and we love it. However it’s definitely not “lightweight and compact” so keep that in mind

We did the Bugaboo Fox 5. Its amazing, super sleek & compact but the wheels are all-terrain. Also works with our car seat!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I got the citi mini gt2 and I don't love it. We loved our bugaboo fox but the 2 part fold was a ball ache. The baby jogger harness is crap and the seat isn't upright enough for my liking. Not sure how it gets so many good reviews. Mountain buggy is far superior in terms of handling and harness etc, wish we'd got one of those!
r/UKParenting • View on Reddit →I think the Fox or Uppa Baby Vista probably makes sense as it sounds like you’re in the London suburbs rather than Zone 1 or 2. We live in the Home Counties and our Bugaboo Fox was barely used as it can’t cope with wet and muddy ground and we found it a bit too big around town. We ended up with a Joolz Aer and a proper outdoor buggy (Out n About). I really like the look of the Bugaboo Dragonfly as one of the downsides of the Joolz Aer/Butterfly/Yoyo is that you have to forward face as soon as they’re ready for the seat. The Dragonfly allows for a parent facing seat. Not all kids are ready to face forward at 6m as it can be sensory overload. Just as a word of warning, most luxury “all terrain” buggies won’t with go in the woods in anything other than dry summer weather. Once there’s a bit of mud on the ground, mud gets stuck in the wheel covers and you will spend half your time fishing it out with a stick.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Ahhh, yeah that would be too long for me as well. We have the Fox5 and I do love that stroller. I just wish it had a more compact fold, that thing takes up my entire trunk. I just bought a bigger SUV because I couldn’t have a stroller and groceries in the car at the same time. I just purchased the butterfly 2 for an upcoming trip in late Aug. Since I need to bring the car seat with me anyways, we got the adapters, for the airport. I don’t want to gate check my strollers or car seats, i don’t want them abused and tossed around. So the fact that it fits in the overhead sold us. One of my close friends has been using the original butterfly with her kids since they were around 5-6mos and she loves it. She actually bought 2, one for her and one for her mom. The lighter stroller was easier for her mom to get in and out of her car.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →One of the large travel system prams was my biggest waste of money. I chose the icandy peach 7 (bugaboo fox 5 was my runner up) and since I got the joolz aer+ I can count on one hand the times I’ve used it. They are so cumbersome to store and move around, some shops you can hardly get the large prams into. This wouldn’t have changed if I had got the fox. I chose the Joolz aer+ over the bugaboo butterfly 1 and 2 and the yoyo because to me it felt more sturdy than the other two, and it comes with a decent bassinet, the yoyo one is a bit flimsy and the butterfly doesn’t have one (they just bought out an attachable nest but it isn’t the same). My son naps better in the aer as it reclines completely flat whereas the large pram seats can be tilted but they’re not flat. It folds up tiny, super light weight, cleans easily, can take on a plane. I can push the aer over grass no problem.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Have loved my bugaboo fox. It’s now on baby 2 and has been fantastic, especially on rougher surfaces. No regrets. As others have said a second travel pram that can fit in the airplane cabin overhead bins is also really useful. I like the Jools Aer+ as it also has the lie flat function.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I live in a city and have both the bugaboo fox 5 and the Joolz AER+. I bought the Joolz for travel but it’s brilliant for the city. It folds up small, is light weight, lies flat, large sun canopy. It’s amazing. I love my bugaboo but it’s much bigger and heavier. I still recommend it though!
r/beyondthebump • View on Reddit →We have a bugaboo fox 5 and a Joolz AER. Hilariously we’re now expecting another so we’ll need a double ?? oops
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →I love my Thule Urban Glide. It's a jogging pram in principle, but the smooth pneumatic wheels glide over every bump. You can add a bassinet - by 3 months, both of my sons were out of the bassinet. I paired it with a Voksi sleeping bag - one for summer and one for winter - and they nap everywhere in it. I even took it on a catamaran in the Carribean, and through a banana grove (accidentally) in Cyprus. I tested the Fox but the wheel motion and suspension is not even comparable to the Thule. I love being able to not worry about hitting uneven pavement stones. The only consideration is the wide wheel base at the rear, but I have not had a problem yet in an elevator.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Same! One year on and it's still one of my favourite baby items. It's so sturdy, the basket space is great, baby is cosy, it looks great, so easy to manoeuvre. I walk with it heaps and have even taken it jogging.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →The Fox is the daily driver, but the cheap folder for flying has been a game changer for portability. That’s the one that makes it in the back of the car now for daily life.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →We have a bugaboo fox 5 and nuna pipa rx car seat. The bugaboo comes with car seat adapters so the car seat just clicks right in! The fox is a more full-size stroller but really easy to open and fold and not super heavy. I had no problems using it by myself at 2 weeks PP from a c-section! We were really between the Fox 5 and the Nuna Triv but we were able to get a really good deal on the Fox 5 getting it open box from StorkExchange, and the Fox came with a bassinet. We’re super pleased with our purchase!
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →Not Maxi Cosi, but I can share some of my thoughts on other strollers that may help. I went to WestCoast Kids to try out some strollers recently, I’m due in a few weeks so my experience is from using friends and families over the past couple of years. I ended up leaving with the bugaboo fox 5 (not the renew) with the bassinet / stroller seat and got a Nuna car seat. I think all together it came out to be 2,000 ish. I found it on sale luckily. I was eyeing a Cybex stroller and a Nuna stroller. The folding of the Cybex was unbearable for me, required two hands and just folding it at the store over stimulated me. Nuna was my second option if bugaboo didn’t work out and they have travel sets. UppaBaby felt too hefty for me, but I used it a while back and not the newer ones. UppaBaby does have a really lightweight car seat that you can attach to the stroller, I believe it’s the Aria. I wanted that one but it’s not compatible with my stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox 3,4,5 is a stroke of designer genious. We are talking Braun, Audi, Steve jobs level greatness of design and durability. *highly recommended*
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Cybex and Bugaboo make very nice strollers for rough terrain plus they come with car seat attachment and basinet. With that said we didn’t invest in a travel stroller until 7-8months because it was much easier to just use a carrier when traveling on a plane. I would get a primary stroller and then evaluate what you need beyond the doona. If you plan on traveling a lot and you go on many walks you will need 2 strollers at a minimum. Now at 20 months we are looking at bike/skiing strollers (hamax). For reference we have a bugaboo fox and cybex orfeo as our primary/travel stroller combo. We walk 5-8 miles daily and travel at least 2x per year.
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →We have a bugaboo fox and we love it. However it’s definitely not “lightweight and compact” so keep that in mind
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →Based in mtl and had a baby in December. We have a bugaboo fox 5 with a Nuna pipa car seat and it is awesome. We have been pancaking snow banks even through the recent megastorm. That said, we were gifted our stroller and probably would not have bought it new had we been paying for it. If cost is prohibitive, I recommend checking marketplace (there are tons of bugaboo fox strollers for sale on there).
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox still going strong on child #3. Yoyo is super portable, the Fox is like a tank and just keeps going.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I have the Fox 5 and I love it, but it’s not lightweight, compact or one-hand fold, so this is probably one to remove from your list. Its perfect for the main purpose I use it for, which is taking long walks directly from home. It’s bulky and heavy so I avoid loading it into the car and opt to use a carrier when we’ve driven places instead.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I know a lot of people love them, but I got a bugaboo fox and hated it. Found it so cumbersome and heavy. I bought the bugaboo second hand and ended up selling it. I remember a friend having a Milly and Coup (I think) pram that was lightweight and folded, which was suitable for newborns (it wasn’t a bassinet), and I wished I’d bought that one! This was four years ago.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I have a bugaboo Fox and that thing is a champ. I can push through snow and slush without a problem. I wanted the donkey but opted for the fox. You may have more time to decide. My baby hated the stroller and I exclusively wore her for the first 4 months or so. We used the LennyLight by Lennylamb (highly recommend it)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →I can't comment on all of them but we've had a Bugaboo Fox and now a Donkey. I loved both but neither were a one-hand fold and definitely not lightweight or compact! The Cruz also doesn't fit those specifications either. We do also have a Joolz Aer which we got when my oldest was about 12 months old. I love it for day to day use. It's light weight and a really easy one handed fold (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/g1dLtrOtceo) and is super compact in the car :)
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I don’t know if it fits the car seat but I live in a very multi terrain place and we have the bugaboo fox 5. It’s perfect for bumps.
r/beyondthebump • View on Reddit →happy bugaboo fox user. Extraordinarily expensive and worth every penny. A stroller is one of the 2-3 items that you won't regret buying. That you will regret if it's not easy to push around or breaks down or you can't fold unfold easily etc... Enjoy it, he will only be a baby for not enough time. The days are long but the years are short, sort of =)
r/daddit • View on Reddit →We have the Joolz Aer2 and I feel like it has a pretty good suspension system. Our Bugaboo Fox 5 is better with bigger wheels, but we've done dirt paths with the Aer2 and it wasn't a problem!
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →I have a seven week old baby and the second hand Bugaboo Fox I bought off Marketplace is the bane of my existence.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →We regularly take our Fox 5 on trails at a provincial park. No regrets.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Bugaboo fox as main pram and a small puschair that folds with one hand for travelling
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →We have 2 too - Bugaboo Fox 5 (sturdy, everyday) and Bugaboo Butterfly (light car pram). I only used the Fox when living in Sydney and bought the Butterfly when we moved interstate and knew Id be in the car more. We went the same brand purely bc we plan on having 2 close together so will use the standing/skate board accessory and didnt want to be limited on which pram we use it on.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox 5 and a Bugaboo Butterfly when you travel or quick trips (goes into too cabin of an aircraft). Accessories interchangeable - and a godsend. If you have more than one child in the future you can get the buggy board attachment that can interchange on both.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I got a Bugaboo Fox 5 open box on GoodBuyGear about a year and a half ago for $600 and it’s been fantastic, and we also did not want to buy one that converted to a double. We used it with a Nuna Pipa RX and it was super simple. We’re also both tall and it’s super comfortable.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →I don’t know how small you need it, but my Bugaboo Fox is a (European)cobblestone superstar.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Bugaboo fox good, yoyo indispensable. We have both.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Bugaboo for going on walks on rougher ground, yoyo for everything else. Folds up v small and can be taken on planes in the overhead bins.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →The wheels are key. I freaking love my bugaboo stroller, I know they’re pricy but it’s my car in the city. I walk everywhere so I put my money in the stroller. Also we have a lot of uneven sidewalks with potholes so good wheels are essential.
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →I would upgrade my original bugaboo fox to the newest donkey. I would loooove to have the side basket.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox for 1 child or donkey for 2. I’ve tried quite a few of these prams and my bugaboo fox and donkey were stand out favourites.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I have the Bugaboo Fox5 and the Butterfly. The butterfly stays in my car now, but I only got it when my son was around 8 months old. Originally I bought it for air travel but it’s so easy to use that now I use it for every day outings. That said, I LOVE the Fox5. It really depends on your area/lifestyle, but I felt the splurge was necessary for a few reasons: 1. We lived in a hyper-walkable area and walked almost everywhere. We also walked our dog miles every day, which we brought baby along for. 2. The bassinet attachment is approved for safe sleep. Baby napped in his bassinet on the Fox frequently and it even came in handy as a bedside bassinet once or twice in a pinch. 3. The build quality and ease of use is incredible. I beat the hell out of our Fox5, have stuffed its basket to the brim, and have clocked probably >100 miles on it. Literally never had a problem with it and it still looks almost brand new. 4. Car seat compatibility. I got the adapters for the Fox that made it able to click in with the car seat we had (Nuna air). Although I preferred the bassinet for my guy as it is better for their development, having the ability to click his car seat into the stroller base came in handy a lot.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →I'm really surprised by the amount of people recommending using carseat strollers. Baby can't lie flat in those! They are not recommended as your every day stroller, you need a bassinet attachment. Personally, we went with the evenflo 360, had a cheap bassinet stroller (bugaboo) and then switched to joolz aer once baby could sit up comfortably.
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →We have a Bugaboo Fox 5 and the adjustable height is great for my husband and I - we’re both tall. We got the stroller for a great deal on GoodBuyGear. We use it with a Nuna Pipa RX.
