Uplift Desk. I got one early on in the Pandemic and it's been rock solid ever since. Dual monitors, multiple computers, electronics projects, and more without an issue. The mechanism is smooth and quiet. Tons of cable management options. Standing mats are a nice addition, I went for the Ergodriven Topo Mat and really enjoy it.
r/sysadmin • Do standing desk help dev teams? ->Just an idea if you have the space, look into a UPLIFT desk frame and an IKEA counter top like KARLBY. Comes out a little less money and looks 10x better.
r/desksetup • Looking for the best of the best gaming pc setup for my bf,is the Secretlab MAGNUS pro worth it? ->Three years with an Uplift V2 and here's the truth: it's overpriced but I'd buy it again. The accessories ecosystem is unmatched. The warranty is real (they replaced a faulty keypad immediately). The wobble is minimal even with my ham fisted typing. It just works every single day without thinking about it.
r/buyforlifetips • Best Standing Desk - need reddit recommendations ->I have two of the Uplift V2 desks, both with 1.5 inch Acacia butcher block tops. Everything is super sturdy and well made, and the solid wood is beautiful. Have been using these daily for about 5 years without any issues. Would recommend.
r/BloomingtonNormal • Best stand up desk? ->I have an Uplift V2 Commercial C frame since early 2020. It’s a solid desk and still going strong. I’m not sure what the V3 changes but it looks like it doesn’t have the lower crossmember. That may be a plus if you’re mounting a PC under there, but I love using it to put up my legs.
r/StandingDesk • Feedback request for those who've owned a mid-range (Vari, Uplift, ?) desk for 5+ years ->Secretlab Magnus Pro is hands-down the best if you want real cable management.. built-in routing, hidden power bay, super clean look. Uplift V2 with the full wire kit is a solid modular alternative. Both keep things tidy without endless zip ties.
r/StandingDesks • What’s the best standing desk with real cable management (not just a hole in the corner)? ->Honestly, Wirecutter’s picks are solid and the Uplift V2 is super sturdy and customizable, and the Branch Duo looks great for the price. But if you want something quieter and smoother, I’d check out the Fully Jarvis or the FlexiSpot E7 Pro. Depends on your budget and how much you care about cable management tbh.
r/StandingDesks • What are the best standing desk in 2025/2026? Is Wirecutter right? ->I cannot say this enough, but if you haven't done so already, check your local online marketplace. You would be amazed at what you can find sometimes. I found a V2 for less than $50!
r/StandingDesk • Need Reccs for a mid-budget desk! ($600-ish) ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

I have an Uplift desk I've used for nearly a decade now and I've been happy with it. They have some addon options for cable management and I got a little drawer attachment for my accessories.
r/buildapc • best gaming desk ->I think Uplift have a heavy (4 leg) model. I have the two leg and very happy with it
r/StandingDesk • Recommendations for a 300 pound desk to support a 4 monitor pallet? ->I think the Ergotron XL arm fits. That's what I use on my 2 leg model, although parents poster is correct that the 4 leg model has a thicker top. I've found cheaper monitor mounts just sag so badly over time. For reference on my 2 leg I have 2 x 27" and 1 x 49" monitors as well as the laptop and PC + accessories and a 10" rack and I'm _at_ the limit of what the desk can handle. It's still pretty impressive load tho'
r/StandingDesk • Recommendations for a 300 pound desk to support a 4 monitor pallet? ->I bought an Uplift desk in 2019. it's served me well so far. Stable and does the up-down thing well. If you're having back pain, I highly recommend a Safco Zenergy Ball Chair. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, no more back pain. I had to work up to being able to use it all day.

r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I’ve tried both, had the Uplift V2 for a year and recently switched to a Fully Jarvis. Honestly, the Uplift feels a bit sturdier at max height and has better cable management options, but the Jarvis looks cleaner and the bamboo top feels premium. The Branch Duo is nice too if you want something more compact or budget-friendly. I’d say Wirecutter’s list isn’t wrong, but it really depends on how tall you are and how much gear you put on your desk.
r/StandingDesks • View on Reddit →I own an Uplift V2. I am extremely happy with it.
r/StandingDesks • View on Reddit →I am 5’4” and I have the Uplift C2 Commercial Frame and it goes low enough for me. The specs say it will go down to 21”
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Im about to get an uplift v2, they're supposed to be incredible. Study, highly customizable: Size Shape Material & color of: -the top -the frame -the keypad to control the height adjustments -the casters No I don't work for them/ am not being paid to say this, lol. Im just super pumped about my new desk. (That I'm deciding on customization for now, but in my brain Its already mine) :)
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Standing desks are fantastic for ergonomics! I’ve had an Uplift V2 for like 5 years with absolutely zero issues.
r/sysadmin • View on Reddit →Second this! I got an Uplift V2 for $650 last year, work very well now even sometimes the top is unstable
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Also have an Uplift desk (2 of them actually). Both the v2 model with walnut top. Have had them both since mid-2020 and both are fantastic
r/BloomingtonNormal • View on Reddit →One thing I want to point out is that stability is pretty subjective. Even our most basic E2 model gets great marks — about 70% of customers say it’s very stable. That’s because most people use it mostly sitting down and only stand occasionally. At sitting height, it’s rock solid. But once you get to E7, E7 Pro, or something like the Uplift V2 — which are two-leg desks — even if you drop a few hundred extra bucks, some people will still feel it’s not totally stable. Why? Because there are lots of customers who stand at standing height all the time, and sometimes lean on the desk edge. At that height, there’s no desk that won’t have *some* movement. Some people are fine with a little wobble — for example, if you have a heavy monitor arm, a tiny shake usually doesn’t matter. But others notice even the smallest movement and find it unacceptable. So whether a desk feels stable really depends on your usage style and how sensitive you are to wobble. Saying a desk is stable isn’t a lie, and saying it’s unstable isn’t necessarily wrong — it’s personal. If you want a desk with basically zero wobble, I’d suggest going for a good four-leg desk. You can check other brands — most offer free returns, so it’s worth trying a few to see what works best for you.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I've had an Uplift V2 since 2021, and then a Flexispot since 2023 when my wife took over the Uplift. Both are sturdy and I've had zero issues with the motors. The Uplift is definitely quieter on the climb. It has two motors and the lifting mechanics are encased in the legs, so there is less strain and a tiny bit more sound dampening. The Uplift has nicer materials and components for sure. There is a little wobble if you lean on the Uplift aggressively when it's in the standing position (I'm fairly tall so I send it up to its max), so if I bought it again I'd get the T frame instead of the C frame. If you want absolutely no wiggle, then Uplift's four-legged models would be the way to go.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I agree with them. I got an uplift V2 two weeks ago. So fire. Customization is pretty cool too gets a little pricy. But I opted for power grommet and mountable surge protector on the bottom.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →The Uplift V2 and V2 Commercial have additional features to increase the side to side stability (wedges on the column for the V2 and a crossbar for the V2 Commercial). The V3 supposedly has similar/better stability to the v2 without the wedges. The Uplift also has accessories that will bolt directly to the frame, which may interest those who don't want to or can't mount things to the desktop.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I'm using an [Uplift Standing Desk V2](https://www.upliftdesk.com/2-leg-standing-desk/?4275=4865&4276=4654&4279=3821&27944=20608&4280=11390&10958=8704&14905=11667) with the C frame. When I got it they were still reasonably priced, but I'd say if it's in budget they make good stuff. I recently helped a friend with their [Desky](https://desky.com/) and the quality seemed really good and their customer service team was really good. They were also one of the few that could get a L shaped desk with a low enough setting for her shorter seated height. Both Uplift and Desky also were some of the few that hard a deep enough desktop, 24in deep seems to be pretty standard but we both wanted 30in. Whichever desk you end up with, I'd recommend splurging on a control pod that has preset one touch memory options. Having to hold the button down, even on a preset, for the entire time the desk is in motion gets wearisome. It sounds trivial (and yeah it kinda is), but if you're constantly changing the height of the desktop it will be something you have to deal with each and every time. My work supplied desk is like that and it drives me nuts. I can't say I use the standing desk at home or in the office for standing as much as I do seated, tho it does get moved in to that position from time to time. Really my main reason was getting it so that my seat height was correct for me. I always found desk heights to either be a too high or too low situation and being able to customize the height to a just right level was a god send. After having to get carpal surgery on both wrists, I really started paying a lot more attention to ergonomics and do not regret the cost of a proper desk, chair, monitor arms and keyboard one bit after the fact.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →I've had three standing desks over the last 7 years: * Started with a VIVO dual motor from Amazon; broke just after 3 year warranty mark * Replaced with Uplift V2 C-Frame in 2021; made a custom top; killer desk, I still have this in my shop * Currently running SecretLab Magnus Pro; even more killer of a desk The Uplift desk is great. I have it sitting on 3" casters and even still it is very stable. The Magnus Pro feels beefier in every way; the weight and rigidity is next level. I got the Magnus for the specific features (cable management, magnets, etc) and appearance. I can't speak to long term reliability but I can say both the Uplift and Secretlab are tanks and remain stable at height for my 6'3 frame. Both desks have a laptop and one 32" display. The Uplift uses an arm, the Secretlab display is on a stand. Edit: As for usage, I do stand multiple times a day. Mostly if I'm in a meeting and my watch tells me it's time to get up. If I'm not in a meeting, well, I go walk around the house or something.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →If you’re looking for the best standing desks, I’d personally recommend: 1. [Uplift V2 Standing Desk](https://www.reddit.com/user/Stunning-Maize/comments/1p0mokp/looking_to_upgrade_your_workspace_here_are_some/) – super sturdy, customizable, and smooth electric height adjustment. Definitely worth it if you want something that lasts. 2. [FlexiSpot Q8 (55” Bamboo Desktop with Wireless Charging)](https://www.reddit.com/user/Stunning-Maize/comments/1p0mokp/looking_to_upgrade_your_workspace_here_are_some/) – stylish, eco-friendly, and comes with convenient wireless charging. Great balance of looks and functionality. Both are solid choices depending on whether you prioritize premium stability or added features.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I've been using an Uplift V2 commercial C-frame L shaped desk base for 3 years and love it. I custom made my own topper with some elbow grease and scrap I had laying around to lower the overall cost, but it holds up well. I can only speak to what I have, but their other frames came highly recommended at the time.
r/workfromhome • View on Reddit →If you are using a free standing monitor base and only using the desk at the seated position, the 2 leg Uplift would be more than enough.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Not sure what you’re worried about with uplift, they have a great reputation. I’ve had their commercial C desk for years. With v3 all of their desks go down extra low. I would like another one, but I don’t want to pay that much so I’ve been looking at what else I might be able to get or see if I could find one used.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I had the 2 leg version and it worked fine. You just have to attach your speaker monitors to the desk so they rise with the desk for your listening position.
r/homestudios • View on Reddit →imo the uplift v2 is still the best all around. I like the stability, quick smooth height adjust, and customization options with the memory presets and different top finishes
r/StandingDesks • View on Reddit →I have the same setup! But just one desk. I love it, plenty of room and beautiful to look at
r/BloomingtonNormal • View on Reddit →I think Uplift would fit with almost all your criteria if you wanted to do minimal DIY stuff. Motorized with programmable presets 48" width Considered to have good stability for a 2 legged desk. Available in C frame with or without a crossbar. The crossbar is for side to side stability, something not really needed for most desk use cases. Uplift states that the standard V2 with wedges has equivalent side to side stability as their desk with the crossbar. The crossbar version is mainly to maintain side to side stability with a lower minimum height. Standard desk shape with a good height range. Large amount of desktop options that are predrilled. It comes with a cable management tray that has an adhesive and two screws. Drilling/screwing accessories is really not as difficult as it may seem but with the amount of stuff you have, you probably don't even need a cable management tray. Using the supplied sticky back cable tie mounts and some zip ties, you can easily use the frame of the desk itself to manage your cables. If you don't like that, there are some lighter/smaller cable management raceways that can be attached using adhesive like this https://www.amazon.com/6X15-7in-Management-Install-Self-Adhesive-Organizer/dp/B07Q8QN5CB?th=1. They have tons of accessories which makes it a one stop shop, but you can find better deals for most of them from other places like Amazon. Grommet holes are more of a personal preference but remember that grommet holes can be added but cannot be removed or moved. Just one power strip is all that you need but if you wanted to mount it to the desk without drilling, they do have power strips that mount to the frame. Most available monitor arms clamp onto the back or have the option to switch for grommet mount, so there is no issue with adding those later.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →The Uplift v2 is the absolute best imo, but if you're looking to spend less, Id highly recommend the Flexispot EN1. You can find some good options [in this thread](https://www.reddit.com/user/BrushWild1866/comments/1n9hkgt/the_best_standing_desks/)
r/workfromhome • View on Reddit →Id definitely recommend the Uplift v2. It has a wide range of heights, and its stable even at the tallest setting. You can find a helpful breakdown of the [best standing desks in this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/productbible/comments/1lm04e1/the_best_standing_desks/)
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I DOOO love my desk, its amazing... but no, it certainly doesn't have this feature. I've made great use of the two 15" shelves that clip oh the back of mine for music production gear, as well as two clamp on studio monitor stands - with the hydraulic monitor arm i have a TON of space on my desk even though I have all my gear right here in front of me! :) I know this irrelevant to what this post is currently looking for but I just wanted to talk about how cool it is!
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Thanks, I'd looked but didn't find many EC1 listing on Amazon and definitely didn't find that one. My Flexispot E8 has the 55x28 bamboo top and it's definitely a good size. Works well for two monitors plus a 2nd laptop to the side. When buying the second desk\*, I ended up choosing the Uplift V2 with 72x30 dark bamboo top over a Flexispot E7Pro - similarly configured they were similarly priced, Uplift's dark bamboo is solid core vs Flexispot's hollow core dark bamboo, and Uplift has grommet holes (I like the power grommet). Interesting about the keyboard tray - I've disliked every one of those I've encountered. Rather have a low profile keyboard on the desktop. Different strokes I guess. :) Couple additional notes for u/Jolly_Draft_5156 : [Flexispot's cable management tray](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D63TFH6/) is nice. Helps make a very clean underdesk look. It will work with any desk you can drill a couple screw holes into. I considered buying one for my Uplift but the included one is serviceable though not as nice. I also recommend casters. Makes it super easy to pull the desk out from the wall when you want to adjust / change cabling in the tray, then roll it back and lock the casters when you're done. Lastly, I've been happy with [this cheap monitor stand](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VNKTCDG) to stash my clamshell laptop under. One of the pair of monitors sits on it, the other doesn't and both line up. (one monitor has a USBC hub, allowing for single cable docking) (\*) two desks 'cuz we split time between two locations
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Been using the Uplift Desk V2 for 3 years now and it's rock solid. Zero wobble even at max height with my ultrawide monitor. The motor is still whisper quiet and I use the memory presets daily. Definitely get the bamboo top - looks amazing and has held up perfectly. Anti-fatigue mat is a must from day one, trust me your feet will thank you.
r/buyforlifetips • View on Reddit →I have a dual monitor setup with two laptops on it and it is stable enough for me. I am standing at it right now typing and I do not notice any wobble on my screens. I do see a little vibration on my laptop screen as that is on a monitor arm. For normal use I find it to be good. It will move if I lean on it or push it but any two leg is going to do that.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Ohhh I just purchased a 42x30 uplift standing desk. Definitely recommend. A little pricey. I don’t think they come any smaller than 42. ??
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Uplift v2 is the absolute best imo, but you can find some good options [in this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/productbible/comments/1lm04e1/the_best_standing_desks/)
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →/r/overemployed is calling!! :-) I used to use one UpLift 90x30. I think even with that size you will be hard pressed (maybe if you have 2 extensions that will be enough to have all your laptops lined up and then kvm switch to your monitors) Now I use 2 90x30 UpLifts. One for 3 x 43 inch monitors and then the other for the actual computer and laptop, NAS, other random stuff.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Uplift. I got a 48"x30" and an 80"x30" to form an "L" shaped desk. However, I realized that I was not going to utilize most of the corner where the two tables "connect" and I instead moved the longer table to the opposite wall and put in a bookcase. I miss having the desks together, but the 30" depth of the tables made it so that I would not use the majority of that corner area. The long desk is used for projects such as architectural model-making (Masters of Architecture program) with space for all of the desired accoutrements and the smaller desk is for the computer monitors, speakers, mic, USB strip, some pens/pencils, and keyboard tray.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →I tried three different desks before landing on the Uplift V2. The wobble on cheaper desks made me seasick while standing and typing. Uplift is expensive but the stability is worth every penny. Get the curved desktop for better ergonomics and spring for the advanced memory controller. Also their bamboo is actually real bamboo not that compressed stuff.
r/buyforlifetips • View on Reddit →I went with Uplift for a 60x30. I gave a review of it about 3 weeks ago. I love it. Vernal requires purchase through Shopify and i won't touch that. They also have stock issues.
r/StandingDesk • View on Reddit →Flexispot and uplift are great desks uplift being the better when it comes to motors. Which has the higher weight limit and what do the motors look like?
