I've got a Mittzon from Ikea, it's got a holder for a power cord with 3 sockets and USB (I think 3) and works quite well. Mainly like the cable guide below the desk, easy to hide everything there. You can choose the size as well, width and depth.
r/belgium • Suggestions for automatic sit-stand desks ->I got an electric IKEA one years ago and love it. It makes switching between sitting and standing so easy. I do that probably every one or two hours. Also important: Get a gel mat for standing.
r/AskUK • Home workers of the UK: Are standing desks worth it? ->Ikea has an electric one for €439: [https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/mittzon-bureau-zit-sta-elektrisch-wit-s59529966/](https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/mittzon-bureau-zit-sta-elektrisch-wit-s59529966/) and even for 349 : [https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/rodulf-bureau-zit-sta-elektrisch-wit-s59530328/](https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/rodulf-bureau-zit-sta-elektrisch-wit-s59530328/) If you don't midn simply doing it manually, they have a cheaper model for €209: [https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/trotten-bureau-zit-sta-wit-s79429602/](https://www.ikea.com/be/nl/p/trotten-bureau-zit-sta-wit-s79429602/) But I would suggest that you first try to put your computer on a high stand so you force yourself to sit up straight. I feel that sitting up straight is more important/beneficial than the standing vs sitting. And if you get a standing desk, defnitely get a comfortable soft carpet becasue your feet will hurt in the beginning (but you will get used to it).
r/BEFreelance • electric standing desk recommendations ->I honestly hardly use mine but it’s still worth it because it’s a great desk. I got the IKEA powered one.
r/WFH • Are standing desks worth it in your opinion? How often do you use yours? How “bad” are the budget ones? ->ik heb deze ook! heel tevreden over , geen klachten
r/belgium • Suggestions for automatic sit-stand desks ->I bought one in early August and it's changed my life. I have mobility and other health challenges, and am a little shorter than average. It's not so much about the option to stand - adjusting just even my ideal sitting height without extra finicky life hacks (eg footrests) was a relief. I will say, though, that a lot of adjustable desks don't automatically solve height challenges for very short or very tall people unless you ensure you're getting an "extended range" model. Unfortunately many companies don't offer that. The few that do offer one or two out of their entire collection; a few will charge a premium! So sit-stand desks still require a bit of careful research and planning before purchase. That said, the flexibility suits my ergonomic needs much better than getting a static desk customized would have. I also like the ability to raise my desk to its maximum height for non-strenuous cable management. I just sit in my office chair and tinker comfortably. Added castor wheels to my setup so it makes it more of a breeze. Edit: just in case anyone's shopping for a desk based on height comfort needs, a tip I was given was to seek desks with legs that have three collapsing columns (or "three stage legs") vs just two collapsing columns. Specific affordable models: 1) the MITZZON (Ikea) 2) the E7 Pro Plus (Flexispot). I own the latter. So far, I'm very content.
r/BuyItForLife • Do standing desks actually help or are they overrated? ->I can recommend the IKEA Mitzon. It feels solid, has built-in cable management, and has two memory settings. I find it’s good to stand for meetings where I have to stay focused. I need to use it more, but at the very least, you can get the best desk height.
r/AskUK • Is a standing desk worth it?
r/programmingHungary • Állítható asztal ->I have a Mittzon from IKEA, it’s a sit stand desk! It’s great. I don’t use it to stand while I work, but the height adjustability is super helpful to make ur work set up ergonomic. I’m short so standard desks are too high, and raising my office chair means my feet won’t be on the ground.
r/VictoriaBC • desk recommendations ->IKEA one. I’ve had mine 8 years and it’s as good as the day I got it. Smooth, quiet glide and solidly built. So so happy with it. It’s called the Mittzon if you’re interested.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Standing Desk ->I'm 6' 4" so had to get a slightly taller desk. A cheaper but sturdy IKEA electric one. Make sure you get one with a cable tray so all the power bricks and cables raise and lower with the desk. As someone has already mentioned though, a decent chair will probably be a better investment if you can only afford one. I normally only stand for a combined 2 hours a day max.

r/perth • View on Reddit →Uzeo pred novu godinu taj Mittzon, zadovoljan sam .
r/programiranje • View on Reddit →I have the mittzon in combination with an LG super wide screen, and the wobble while standing is really bothering me. So beware, the mittzon desk is not very stable. You really feel the desk give when leaning while working. In the standing configuration, typing makes everything wobble noticeably.
r/BEFreelance • View on Reddit →Don’t know current price but I bought an electric ikea desk.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →I have one from ikea with the electric motors. I only bought it so that I could set the height at 2 inches higher than a standard desk (I am 6 feet tall). I never work behind it standing up.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →Imagine having a desk you can adjust to the perfect sitting or standing height for you at any given moment for any given task. It's awesome! I work at a microscope and we have sit to stand desks (which are juuust too short for me to actually do standing work, -shakes fist-). At home, I have a large powered sit-to-stand for my sewing room, which I use almost entirely for sitting, but it's fantastic that I can adjust it up high if I need to do close-viewed tasks on the desk. Mine is from Ikea, had it for 5+ years, never had a problem. My husband has a manual hand-crank sit-to-stand desk and it is great! Adjusting it is easy and smooth and the handle tucks away nicely. Another two cents: do you exercise? stretch? do you notice where your back pain is and google what might cause it and how to fix it? there's a lot you can achieve with a good and regular exercise routine, and if that fails, a good PT can help you out! Like others have said, changing positions is really really helpful, too! I have also found that sitting on the floor while playing video games or watching TV (for as long as I can tolerate it) has helped my hip mobility and back strength.

r/PortugalExpats • View on Reddit →I have the mittzon and as other people have stated, it can wobble to much with a wide screen monitor while you are standing. Would not buy it again.
r/BEFreelance • View on Reddit →IMO, a standing desk is - just like a good ergonomic chair - an absolute must have for the office. I don't make use of it everyday, but certainly every other day. - also, you don't have to use them fpr hours on end. Sometimes I just use it for 30 mins, just to relieve some discomfort. Also, if you have a walking treadmill or a wobble board / balance board, they are also a great way to keep your legs and core gently engaged and prevent lower back strain while standing. (I can stand comfortably at my desk for 30-60 minutes without anything else. A wobble board doubles that time for me easily). Importantly though, it does NOT make sense to spend a ton of money on a standing desk, like it does for a good office chair. With office chairs you only really get the level of support and comfort above a certain price point. However, with standing desks, they are functionally the same no matter the price point. Only the choice material really changes with price. None of these more expensive features are really worth their money to me. Here's what I did (and what I recommend to everyone else) Step 1 - Buy a used IKEA electric standing desk. They are cheap, the electronic height adjustability works great and reliable, and if anything should ever break, you can always get replacement parts for cheap. As long as the electronics work, it doesn't matter whether you like the optics of that particular table or not, because - Step 2 - You buy a pretty, new table top from your local wood supplier, hardware store, etc. And screw it onto the motorized frame. This Is a ridiculously simple modification, yet it adds a ton of quality to the thing. A good, pretty and solid table top is so much better than any of the veneered cardboard crap that IKEA sells. - Step 3 - Add a cable organizer under the desk (just search for "under desk cable management, there are loads of cheap and good options) Boom! You've got yourself a pretty, personalized, cheap, repairable and functional standing desk!

r/programmingHungary • View on Reddit →I have two different bases with butcher block tops from ikea. One is the ikea electric sit/stand base. The other is the base from an electric sit/stand desk I bought on Amazon and swapped out the top. The ikea base is nicer in the fact that it moves more smoothly and feels more sturdy. But I agree with what someone else said about having memory settings. The other one has that feature and I prefer it. I sit/stand/lean on something, so I adjust frequently. Would never go back to a fixed desk.
r/homeoffice • View on Reddit →I have the Ikea motorised. Got it now for 3-4 years. Nothing fancy but works like a charm for me. Worth it every franc.
r/askswitzerland • View on Reddit →I got an electric sit/stand desk from IKEA. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either and it’s a good desk. Because of the power adjustment and the memory functions I use it daily. Sometimes I feel like sitting, sometimes like standing and it’s easy to move between them by pushing one button. It’s especially nice for long meetings since I like to move around a bit during them.
