Depends how stable you want it. Anything on two legs of going to be less stable by design and if you’re mounting stuff underneath, that could impact it somewhat, I’d imagine. I got a four legged Flexispot and I’ve been really happy with it. Idk if that fits your space though

I have the the E7 Plus as per the video below and have been very happy. Delivery was very fast in Australia- 3 days. Just note that the top and legs will be delivered by different carriers - initially I was stressed that a piece was missing. [https://youtu.be/RtYbkKlZxLg?si=IOJ2kWVUU0YGBdK1](https://youtu.be/RtYbkKlZxLg?si=IOJ2kWVUU0YGBdK1) Unfortunately I have not had any experience with the other table. Edited - note that the E7 plus has 4 legs compared to the stand E7’s 2 legs. I bought it for the stability.

I’m not sure, I have a Flexispot and like it a lot, but my only point is that you can go off regular recommendations and don’t have to worry about your height. My Flexispot was $530 including add-ons but it’s not an L desk.

My Flexispot E7 does not wobble anymore than a regular desk does (realistically it’s impossible to remove all the wobble), even when standing. It’s sturdier than my non standing desk I had. I would say it’s very sturdy and I have absolutely no issues with it.

Flexispot has been great for my needs and got some cable truncheon that has cable holes all along it for exit points, sticky back aswell with a small cable tray for my extension lead, then a snake thing that goes to the plug on the wall and the desk that’s flexible and hides leads to sockets, looks so clean not a cable insight. The desk is strong and sturdy with a great finish

After a few weeks with this setup, here’s my short, honest take. The FlexiSpot E7 is a solid, dual-motor standing desk that feels genuinely premium for the price (I got the frame on sale for 400 CAD). Stability is excellent, even at full height with two monitors and a PC tower, the desk barely wobbles. I even have a ps5 under and my work laptop. Height transitions are also very smooth and quiet, I can raise and lower the desk during meetings or calls without anyone noticing. I paired it with a Structube desk cover which is 60 inches long and 26 inches wide, no issues at all there. Very stable and plenty of space. If you’re expecting magical cable-management solutions, you’ll be disappointed. If you have a complex setup, you’ll probably end up adding extra clips or a tray. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of. Overall: a stable, clean-looking, long-term workstation setup my setup: [https://i.imgur.com/kg3EWm3.jpeg](https://i.imgur.com/kg3EWm3.jpeg) if you guys have any questions, i'm happy to answer

this is actually the e7 which is supposedly less stable than the e7 pro. I haven't had any issues with stability at all. I have some small occasionnal wobble if I am standing and doing big hand movements, but nothing that makes me seem worried or unsafe.

I've got a flexispot one, have had since covid, works well for me. Have three monitors with no issues. Added cheap IKEA cable trays to the underside, laptop dock, harddrive, network switch etc all sit in one, a nice long extension adaptor and a load of power bricks in the other.

It's been great, WAYY better than flexispot desk (which isn't bad). My desky feels very premium, extremely stable with no wobble. The build process was a bit much, but my partner is very handy and helped with it. It took about an hour in total and I did not have any problems or issues with the build - it was straightforward, just involved. The cable management is very good and convenient. My only nitpick is it's annoying to open/close by yourself because it requires 2 pins (one on either side) to be unlocked, so on a longer desk this requires 2 people. The motors are smooth, quiet, strong. The legs are VERY THICK and heavy duty. The desk is very solid. I opted for the bamboo desktop, and it is extremely solid. It's deceptively lightweight but no wobble, warping or anything. I had a minor chip on one side from shipping, but I just made that the bottom and it was good. All in all, I am very pleased with my desky desk and would purchase from them again.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the Flexispot E7 Plus frame after upgrading from a series of budget desks. This is my first “good” desk setup, and I couldn’t be happier. **What I got:** * Only bought the **E7 Plus frame** * Paired it with a **solid maple 72”x30” top from Uline** * Total cost: **CA$570 (\~US$414) for the frame**, **CA$490 (\~US$356) for the top** **Assembly experience:** * As a **6’ tall, 180lb guy**, I **assembled the whole thing solo**. Took effort, especially with the heavy legs, but mostly doable. * Packaging was great, **super tight and protective** * Instructions were **pretty clear** * Didn’t need to pre drill anything, just used an **impact driver** to screw into the wood top directly * Legs were **really heavy and solid**, but that gave me confidence it could easily hold the weight of the thick top **Performance:** * **Stability is amazing**, those 4 legs make a hugggeeee difference * The **height range is way better than expected**. My **short wife can use the lowest setting comfortably**, and the **highest point is more than enough** for me at 6’ * It’s **smooth and quiet** when adjusting * And yes… I totally laid down on it and rode it up like all the YouTubers ?? **Final thoughts:** * This desk **feels premium**, and I’m seriously impressed * Would **absolutely recommend** the E7 Plus frame to anyone looking for a quality standing desk base * 10/10 – **I’m loving it**

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a new standing desk (160x80) for my home office, and I've narrowed it down to a few options available in Europe. Here's what I'm seeing right now, sorted by total price including current discounts and shipping: * Desktronic HomeOne – 449€ * Desktronic HomePro – 499€ * Buldesk Model Air – 588€ * FlexiSpot E7 – 599€ * FlexiSpot E7 Pro – 650€ * Buldesk Model Pro – 688€ I already own a *FlexiSpot E7 Advanced (120x60)* bought in 2022. It’s done the job, but I’m moving it to my hobby area and want a bigger, more dedicated setup for work. I have to admit I didn’t use the standing feature as much as I should have, so I’m not sure about the longevity of the motor on mine. That said, I now have a proper workspace and plan to use the standing function much more with the new desk. As for weight: I won’t overload the desk, at most I’ll have a laptop, my PC case, one or two ultrawide monitors, and the usual suspects (headphones, speakers, m/kb and some random desk stuff). Does anyone have experience with Desktronic or Buldesk? * Desktronic looks like a great value and has a ton of positive reviews. That said, I can’t help but wonder if the lower price means they had to cut corners somewhere in terms of overall build quality. Also, their leg design, thinner at the bottom and thicker at the top feels a bit counterintuitive to me. * Buldesk is less known, but I like that they’re made in the EU, and they use Linak motors, which I’ve heard good things about. * As for FlexiSpot, I’m curious if the quality has changed since 2022. Mine worked fine, but I’m not sure how their newer models hold up and like I said I didn't use the standing feature enough. Any long-term feedback on these brands would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Spent under £400 on my flexispot desk direct from them. It’s solid when upright as well as still being large, which is what I mostly wanted. I quite often lean on it, push off it etc. Honestly didn’t want to drop that much so I tried the budget ones from ikea, Amazon cheap ones and they all were quite small or rocked a lot when at standing height, so didn’t really fit my use case.

Get the frame and add your own desktop. I think that should keep you in budget, and you pick exactly what you want. Desky's dual frame doesn't wobble even at max height. Cable management actually works too. FlexiSpot's E7 Plus has the 4 leg setup if you want extra stability, but costs more. Desky frame plus butcher block from IKEA or Home Depot is what I'd do. Better motors afaik. Then I'd also look at the desktop material as well. A good core (not honeycomb) should suffice if you're mounting monitors or leaning on it.

a standing desk can make a big difference if you work long hours. alternating between sitting and standing helps with posture and fatigue. flexispot and uplift are common choices, just make sure to check the frame stability and motor noise. tools like dezctop focus on stability and workspace design with thoughtful cable routing and modular organization so your setup looks clean and feels balanced while working.

I just bought a desky, and am coming from Flexispot. DM me in a week after I get the desky set up and I can give you some feedback. The reason I went with Desky is purely for the cable management solution. I considered Secret Labs, and didn't like the shallowness and lack of ability to mount anything onto it. Flexispot has been solid for me for 4+ years, but it is a little wobbly. The cable management is fine but subpar what I want as I'm looking to elevate my space aesthetically.

Flexispot E6 Max on Amazon or the Flexispot E7/E5 from them directly. I’ve been very pleased with mine & they have a solid warranty, longer than most. Look at the solid light bamboo if possible, it has a similar tensile strength to steel & looks very pretty. Another solid option if it will fit your height is the hand crank Home Depot Husky standing desk. It looks good & is very heavy duty. It wouldn’t go tall enough for me but I am 6 ft 4 in.

I have one (Flexispot). I didn't pay that much for mine though. Got it on Amazon, and picked up the wooden bit from IKEA (I got the cheap, fake wood... Been meaning to replace that with some proper wood but it's not been a priority). I don't have any extension leads or anything like that with mine, but I had plenty lying around so just stuck one to the underneath of the desk. It's been fine for the last 4 years. I keep saying I'll 3D print one of those honeycomb kits to do proper cable management, but again it's not been a priority so far. I use it regularly. I was getting back problems before (and I have a pretty decent / comfy chair), but that's disappeared since being able to stand. If it does break, I'll replace it with another one without hesitating.

I bought one in early August and it's changed my life. I have mobility and other health challenges, and am a little shorter than average. It's not so much about the option to stand - adjusting just even my ideal sitting height without extra finicky life hacks (eg footrests) was a relief. I will say, though, that a lot of adjustable desks don't automatically solve height challenges for very short or very tall people unless you ensure you're getting an "extended range" model. Unfortunately many companies don't offer that. The few that do offer one or two out of their entire collection; a few will charge a premium! So sit-stand desks still require a bit of careful research and planning before purchase. That said, the flexibility suits my ergonomic needs much better than getting a static desk customized would have. I also like the ability to raise my desk to its maximum height for non-strenuous cable management. I just sit in my office chair and tinker comfortably. Added castor wheels to my setup so it makes it more of a breeze. Edit: just in case anyone's shopping for a desk based on height comfort needs, a tip I was given was to seek desks with legs that have three collapsing columns (or "three stage legs") vs just two collapsing columns. Specific affordable models: 1) the MITZZON (Ikea) 2) the E7 Pro Plus (Flexispot). I own the latter. So far, I'm very content.

**Hi,** I wanted to share my first standing desk setup. I probably spent too much time researching all the bits and pieces, so hopefully this saves you some time. Since I'm mentioning a few products - I haven't been paid by any of the brands to post this. It started with wanting to simply get standing desk to help with my back - and turned into room redecoration & realization that I operate better in a clean set up with few distractions in my field of view. # Desk – Flexispot E7 Plus + 40mm Solid Oak Worktop Being in the UK, the choice of 4-leg standing desks is more limited than in the US. I was deciding between Flexispot’s E7Q, E7 Plus, or waiting for the upcoming E7 Plus Max. After watching a bunch of YouTube reviews, I was a bit concerned about the E7 Plus’s stability — it felt like a compromise. But with the deal I found, I went for it. In my setup, I don’t notice wobble, whether standing or walking on the treadmill. My heavy monitors and desktop probably add stability. If I deliberately push side-to-side, yes, there’s some movement. The only time it was really noticeable was when I knocked my head against the legs while doing cable management. The raise/lower speed is fine. There are faster desks out there, but I’ve never wished this one was quicker. It reacts gently if something’s in the way. I might consider the E7 Plus Max in the future, mainly because it can extend to the full width of my desktop (190 cm). I added shelves underneath using sturdy C-brackets to hold a USB-C charger, Schiit units, and headphones (hook coming soon). This keeps the desktop clear. Assembly was straightforward — just pre-drill holes in hardwood and use non-reactive screws (I went with stainless). The single brace is sufficient for my thick oak worktop, but with thinner wood I’d want extra reinforcement. The only part I needed help with was flipping it upright. # Lightbar – BenQ Halo2 Got it on a Black Friday discount. I can’t compare with other light bars, but my evening eye strain is basically gone. I never have to adjust it — the auto detection works perfectly. # Walking Pad – Flexispot GP01 Quiet, works well, and I chose it mainly for the 2-year warranty (most others are 1) and 60-day return policy. Walking pads are one of those things people often stop using, so the return option gave me peace of mind. The only quirk: I can’t figure out how to switch it off with the remote, so I use a smart socket. Typing, reading, or watching something while walking is fine. Using a mouse is trickier, but dropping the speed with a shortcut helps. # Wobble Board – Fluidstance Plane I wanted a cushioned surface so I wouldn’t need shoes. This board nails it. The width feels natural, and I can type and use my mouse comfortably. If you find a cheaper board that meets your priorities, go for it — but this one works great for me. (And honestly, spare yourself from looking at Reddit wobble board reviews — most are from the COVID era and read like blatantly written by the companies themselves.) # Setup Process * **Cable Management:** Long and painful. I tried magnets, but velcro straps were the most efficient. The desk frame makes a brilliant anchor point. * **Redecorating the Room:** Before starting a project like this, think carefully about your goals. I initially thought about replacing the desk, but once I cleared the clutter I noticed the walls were marked. That led me to repaint the room (E7 Plus makes an amazing platform for painting), then build a wooden panel to cover damaged wallpaper. Through this process I started appreciating a cleaner setup: I moved a shelving unit to the wall behind me and kept as few items as possible on the desk and in my field of view. As a finishing touch, I used a 10 cm offcut from the desk to make a small shelf under the whiteboard.

Hey thanks for the info. Honestly I don't have much wobble on my E7 Advanced when it's all the way up. As for the assembly, I can manage a few holes, but I have a hard time to find a local woodshop that sell top like I want for a fair price.

Yes, but you do have to be disciplined to use it: at times I forget mine is a sit/stand desk because I just sit my arse down out of habit!! But they do make a difference for sure. I bought a FlexiSpot chassis (forget which one exactly - E7 or variant maybe?) and then a nice oak worktop from a company that just does worktops and fitted it myself. Super sturdy, fast to go up and down and holds plenty of weight. Get a dual motor variant if you can.

Had someone mentioned Flexispot yet? Bought my on Amazon, no regrets. You are right for making a go with a standing desk, totally worth it. You can also buy a big one, install 3 monitors and work like a boss. Best feeling ever, and makes window-management and multitasking a breeze. Averages are that you should be standing up at least 12h a day (not standing 12 hours, but at least 15 minutes stand every hour for 12 hours), that’s why the standing desk is a must.

If you like the look of your PC and have space - why not on top! Also it all depends how big your desktop is. For mounting you desktop it - I would look at size of the frames for E7 Pro & E7 Plus that you're considering and see where you could fit it. With e7 Plus you might struggle to fit the mount and PC inside of the frame. If you fit it outside, than you have to make the frame narrow which takes away the space... just do a bit of lego on the drawing of dimensions. I was a bit too optimistic in terms of space, until I received the PC mount and realized it's not as easy as I thought.
