I’ve never had any issues everyone talks about and I got the arc second hand except the sub 3 and era 300 there all amazing no drop outs app works perfect been a few years and still strong! They produce incredible sound love it and I can’t recommend it enough. Pricing wise I do agreee it is expensive that’s why I went second hand cheap and perfect

If you don't care 'much' about Atmos sound then the Fives are the solution. I will say get the arc though because in the future you can run the arc as a soundbar and add other speakers. You will not be able to use the era 100s/300s or Fives for TV sound. Just my thoughts.
r/sonos • Sonos Arc vs. Era 300 - Don't care about Home Theatre, just want a standalone speaker in my office that sounds good for Spotify/Airplay music. I can get either for around the same price. Thoughts? ->Still have a Playbar in my downstairs den paired with two Play:3s. I only replaced my upstairs Playbar to an Arc a few years ago because the little flapper door for the optical cable input broke and it would no longer hold the plug in place. Perfectly working otherwise, what shame to have to junk it. Sonos said they can't fix that so they gave us a nice deal for an update to Arc. While on this subject, is there any advantage to using an HDMI from eARC/ARC to the Playbar utilizing Sonos' HDMI to Optical adapter? Or is there nothing to gain over using an Optical cable?
r/sonos • Playbar - my new favorite Sonos speaker ->That was the idea. Stand alone power for a bedroom. Amazing. I left my Arc, era 300’s and 2 subs in the theatre room and kept Ultra in the bedroom without subs and surrounds.
r/sonos • Sonos Arc Ultra vs regular Arc – worth it? ->In your opinion. Everyone’s ears are different. As a stand alone unit you are correct but when used in surround it’s not so obvious. It’s not worth $500 more to upgrade from the Arc.
r/sonos • Sonos Arc Ultra vs regular Arc – worth it? ->Got a Sonos Arc (not the Ultra) for the wife, and she's happy with it. I have the Q990F in the living room. You can get the Sonos Arc or Arc Ultra and later add the Sub and the rear speakers. I'm amazed with the Sonos Arc; it sounds like I have rear speakers. As a standalone soundbar, the Sonos Arc music reproduction is top-tier. The Q990F, on the other hand, is great for movies and gaming. Not that the Sonos Arc isn't good for gaming, but Samsung's game mode just sounds amazing. I use my Q990F as a reference because it's literally the same as the Q990D, just with 100 watts more, a revamped subwoofer, and an IAMF decoder (aka Eclipsa Audio). I would say if you want a complete system, go for the Q990D. If you don't have the space for the rear speakers or you want a more simplistic look, go with the Sonos Arc Ultra, knowing that later you can add a sub and rear speakers if you choose to.
r/Soundbars • Sonos surround ( beam, mini sub, era 100 x2) vss. samsung hw-q990d ->Sonos arc is by far the best soundbar out there
r/Soundbars • Calling in recommendations for an level soundbar, preferably no extra speakers ->I got the arc…. Then went back and got the sub. What a difference
r/sonos • $419.99 Sonos ARC Soundbar picked it up today at a Costco Warehouse in LIC Queens NY. Your thoughts? ->100% the answer is Sonos. The Beam Gen 2 soundbar is a solid soundbar that offers decent atmos sound. The next step up to the Sonos Arc or Arc Ultra will hit different if you're not worried about cost. Add a Sonos Sub and that's all you'll need. I say this as someone that has a Klipsch Reference Premier 5.1.2 setup with a Denon 2800h receiver in my living room. I use the soundbar setup in my bedroom and it has pretty good quality. Does it hit quite the same as Atmos in a true home theater setup? Of course not, but it's still a damn good soundbar choice that gives you the Atmos you want.
r/LGOLED • Best soundbar system for LG C5? ->I had a really cheap sound system before I got a Beam Gen 1 and I didn’t really get blown away either. I did start enjoying it a lot more once I added surround speakers and other Sonos speakers for each room for multi room audio. I eventually upgraded to the Arc and that was a decent jump in quality.
r/sonos • Disappointed with Beam Gen 2. Am I missing something? ->Think I might try this I have the era 300’s and feel they over power the original arc, Apple TV makes the big of a difference cause now I’m up and down with the volume
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Arc ultra will do 9.2.4. Not much out there that supports this. 7.2.4 seems to be readily available. If u have the arc there is really no need to upgrade to the ultra. If you don't, then get the ultra.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I agree with this I’ve Been having network issues, and just had my arc and sub mini hooked up and it’s incredible at time i thought my era 300’s were connected. Arc plus sub mini 60% volume sound incredible.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I have arc + sub gen 3 and 2 era 300s and absolutely love it

r/sonos • View on Reddit →The plus with the Sonos is you can add over the years and switch speakers out, like I can’t afford a sub now but later I’d like to add one, maybe they make another arc ultra plus or something I can change out my og arc and keep my era 300 etc not saying I would cause it sounds good as is
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I have 6 E100, an arc, and a sub mini. By far the room I prefer to listen in is where I have the arc, sub mini and 2 E100s linked. You wont be sorry.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Maybe a slightly used or even new Sonos Arc (not the newer Arc Ultra). I’ve had both and both are absolutely the best soundbars out there in my book. I have returned probably ten other systems and kept the Sonos ones.
r/bravia • View on Reddit →go to your local audio show room and test out some sonos audio sound bars, there bluetooth subs are great, and so are just the soundbars for the price. worth every single penny to sound like your in a movie theater watching dolby surround. it’s honestly amazing how deep the bass was coming from just the sound bar. i had the lovely option to listen to one on a vacation, i belive it was the arc.
r/BudgetAudiophile • View on Reddit →Anyone that tries the Ultra says it's worth the upgrade and yet there are always people convincing themselves that they don't need better vocal clarity/wider soundstage etc. It's because you have no idea how much better it can possibly sound. How much more audible the dialogue can be without coming off sibilant. I had the og Arc and I used to watch movies with remote near me to control the volume between action and dialogue scenes. The luxury of not having to do that anymore alone is more than worth it. If you have era 300s as surrounds, Ultra is a must have to create an amazing Atmos bubble for music.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I absolutely love my Sonos arc with 2 rears. Don’t have a sub because I’m in a duplex. If you have a good room layout for it I say go for it.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I have both and the Arc is a marginal improvement over the beam.

r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →$299 PLUS an apple gift card for me. They had a great deal for an extra $100 back with PayPal.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →You might be able to find a Sonos Beam Gen2 and a pair of Sonos One in that budget. That's a great starter system, and something you can build on in the future by adding a Sub and replacing the other speakers with the higher end models. Or start with a Sonos Arc and add the rest later.
r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →I have an Arc paired with Gen 2 Sub and a Beam Gen 2 paired with a sub mini in different rooms. The Arc is definitely a much more robust soundbar and does everything better. I just ordered the refurbished Arc for $399 USD on the Sonos site today. I’ll be replacing the Beam and moving it to the bedroom where we don’t need as large of a soundbar. The Beam did well in our upstairs living room with the help of the sub mini but the opportunity to upgrade to an Arc for that price was worth it IMO.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Just get a Sonos arc and thank me later on for saving you the headache of all the research Add a Sonos sub or Sonos sub mini for extra points
r/LGOLED • View on Reddit →In my opinion, a pair of Era 300s will sounds better than Era 100s + Arc Ultra + mini Sub for music. I have a pair of Sonos Play 1s, Arc, and mini sub and it sounds perfectly acceptable for music but there's something about the Era 300s that are more "full sounding".

r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →I had my 300’s on ambient for music for like the entire 1.5 I’ve had the arc/sub3/era300 combo just bc I hardly touched the app since all the reported issues with it. Was digging around in it the other day and turned them to full and wow, I feel like I’ve been missing out on my music experience
r/sonos • View on Reddit →It has been my experience that the Sonos soundbars, especially the arc and the arc ultra are really made to run best with a subwoofer and rear surrounds. I have an arc, sub mini and two older play3s as my surrounds. This system replaced a nice 7.2 system that included amps, $600 lcr speakers, a large subwoofer, and four medium-expensive ceiling speakers. My Sonos system is better than the old system. I would try the arc ultra or the arc, adding surrounds and a subwoofer before you give up. It’s really nice to have your whole house included in the same system.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Have been very happy with the Sonos Arc with the 77" LG OLED. Running it with a sub and 2 rears. I honestly don't miss my old dedicated receiver and 7.1 setup at all.
r/LGOLED • View on Reddit →Get a quality sound bar with Dolby Atmos like the Sonos Arc. If you're going to spend for a premium TV, it makes no sense to skimp on the audio imo.
r/LGOLED • View on Reddit →I have a full theater in my basement, but upstairs use the OG Sonos Arc and sub and love it. If your ceilings are normal height I I think you would as well. When I first turned it on my wife came in and listened a minute. She asked where I hid all the other speakers.
r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →A lot of people seem to think the Samsung sounds fantastic. Sonos has the app and WiFi challenges. I’m neck deep in the Sonos system. I was contemplating making the move to the new Samsung Q990F hitting the market this year, BUT and a huge but, I just downloaded the Sonosequencer app and have been able to take my Sonos gear and turn it into a whole different experience. The app let me add my amp with bookshelf speakers as front left and right. Then it uses my OG Arc as a center channel (though other sounds do come out slightly) then I have two subs and 2 300s as rears. It is a HUGE improvement to just the sound bar. I heard Samsung is adding some new tech to their 990F, but I have a hard time believing it could compete with real wide left and rights. It’s made me re commit to Sonos in a big way. I’m extremely happy. Check out @neverenoughtech on YouTube. The guy is awesome. And really funny.
r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →I would absolutely go arc og + sub or sub mini.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Arc is great just turn on speech enhancement and night mode
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Standalone, I think the Ultra is better. More bass, yes. The sound signature is very very bright though, to the point of sounding shrill/harsh at times with no way to tune that away without making it sound lifeless. If you have or plan to add a sub and rears, the difference between Arc and Arc Ultra will be so small that I would just save my money and take the Arc.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Arc owner here; simple, aesthetic, user friendly. I’m sure other soundbars are great, but I’m very happy with my Arc + Sub + two side speakers.
r/Soundbars • View on Reddit →That's nonsense. It's not the highest end audio but it's definitely not skimping if you invest in a quality Atmos sound bar like the Arc.
r/LGOLED • View on Reddit →You think I'm comparing them on paper? I have both as well bro. The difference in vocal clarity, soundstage and overall sound fidelity is strikingly obvious.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →It's not. Atmos bubble with ultra and 300s is levels above the og arc + 300s
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Could also go for the non-Ultra Arc if you want better than the Beam but still want to save a few hundred compared to the Ultra.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →Sonos Arc, Sub and Era 300s Great for a soundbar system
r/LGOLED • View on Reddit →I started with a beam…then a sub…then era 100 surrounds. I was happy. Then I found a killer deal to buy a 2nd hand arc with sub. Now I have an arc, surrounds and 2 subs. It’s a slippery slope my friend.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I have an arc and a pair of 100’s in an apartment. The 100’s perform quite well, much more bass than the ARC, They are not paired with the ARC , but used as separate speakers I. The same physical room as the ARC. This works best for us, watching older non atmos shows most of the time and YouTube videos.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →I have an arc with two era 300 and a subwoofer. Just upgraded to ultra. Honestly the difference is not that noticeable. It might be a little better but it’s almost like I have to convince myself. Even the dialogue to me was only slightly louder as opposite to some reviewers experience. I think if you have Apple TV and turn on the speech enhancement it would make even less a difference. Overall not worth the upgrade and would wait for the next generation product.
