I bought the Roborock Q10 S5 during the Amazon Prime sales, 230$ before tax. It’s my first robot vacuum and I’ve be running it for less than a week and I love it. No more pet hairs, litter or pet food on the ground. I’ve used the mop function which is vibrating on this model and it’s good. I can’t speak of its performance against other robots tho. It doesn’t have a self emptying base and you need to manually wet the mop before use if you want to use it (it has a little tank of water but not enough to initially wet the entire mop) but I don’t mind for the price.
r/RobotVacuums • Budget Vacuum recs? ->I have got it 3 days ago and have a docking issue. It just turns around in front of dock and never docks. I assume you never had this issue but many people have. Question: did you figure out how to attach the mop? I pull the robot from the docking to attach the mop and robot just starts and tries to dock back. I need it to not start and just let me to attach the mop!
r/RobotVacuums • roborock Q10 S5+ ->Okay thanks. My old Xiaomi did not react to the disconnect, so I got used to it. How do you lift the robot without disconnecting it?
r/RobotVacuums • roborock Q10 S5+ ->Haha, does it want to re-dock in the air?
r/RobotVacuums • roborock Q10 S5+ ->I ordered Q10 S5 for 159 EUR as a replacement for my 6 years old Xiaomi robot. Old sport still works, battery 50% degraded, will give away to the friend with small apartment :) Old Xiaomi was 230 EUR with basic mopping. Funny that after 6 years I am buying a more advanced model for cheaper.
r/Roborock • Roborock Black Friday : Which Robot Vacuum Should Buy? ->20%Notes: this is a placeholder so you can bookmark. I'll begin filling this in as prices come off embargo. For a list of every single prime day deal, [go here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1ljl8wd/prime_day_deals/). These are not the cheapest robots in each band, these are my recommendations based on the final Prime Day prices. Some prices do not fall off embargo until 7/8 (Prime Day) so you may not see them until then. I will be incredibly busy during Prime Week, so may not be able to answer comments. I haven't tested every vacuum on the market, but I've tested a lot of them. Not offended if you have a differing opinion and voice that, my opinions are based on real world testing in my home, which I write about on Lifehacker. The links below will be affiliate links, you don't have to use them, but it is appreciated. # Best vacuum under $100 Controversial opinion, but I don't believe there is a best under $100. Infact, robots worth the investment under $700 are rare, as I explain in [this post.](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/) So these robots should be viewed as tech toys you're playing around with, rather than cleaning tools that will make your life easier. Buy whatever strikes your fancy, it's unlikely to be useful as a robovac, but might be a worthy cat toy. # Best vacuum under $300 People just don't talk about the Switchbots enough in here, and I wish I knew why. Aside from having a kick ass brand identity (chonky robots that bridge a technology gap for people), they are affordable and work better than most tech products out there. I'm a huge fan of their smart home sensors and the SwitchBot button. When I got the [K10+](https://lifehacker.com/tech/switchbot-k10-plus-robot-vacuum-review) to test about 18 months ago, I was just tickled. First, it's tiny. It's like an M&M roaming your floor. At 8 inches, it cuts a tight radius around your chair legs, and can get into tiny spaces. There's no advanced tech on here, it just does a bangup job vacuuming, and then returning to its humbly small self emptying dock. Sure, there is a "mop", kinda sorta... but its just a swiffer situation, and it sucks. Ignore it (easy to do). This is a vacuum, and can more confidently manage carpet (under your bed, too!) better than most I've tried. Sure, you'll have to unclog it occasionally, but that's what you get at this price. The pro took the suction from 2500Pa to 3000Pa, which doesn't seem like much, but I can go on for hours on a nerdy rant about how much suction doesn't really matter. Whichever you get, this is the bot to beat at this price. The only interesting nugget about the 3i when I agreed to test it was that it promised to never need a water refill. i'd just finished testing the narwal Freo Z, which has to be topped up a few times a day and an autonomous robot sounded fantastic. You shouldn't like the 3i. It looks like an exhibit in a kids science museum. It weighs like 50lbs, and there is nothing notable about the robot itself. it looks like a generic robovac. I was so blown away by the performance, I haven't shut up about it since. In the history of my testing, i have kept 3 robovacs, and this is one of them. I just place new robots I'm testing in front of it, because I'm not moving that Gdamn tower for anything, it lives there now. Theres the design: these 2 forward sweeps rotate inward, and have constant downward pressure on the floor. They're huge, and very effective. The roller doesn't get clogged. Let me repeat. I let it vacuum up dog toy floof. Mulch. Receipts. NOTHING deterred this robot. And the mop was very effective, too. Was it the best mop I've tested? No. But it ranks up there. And the water cleaning actually works, I know because for a week, we had it mop up anything we could think of. Vinegar. Black dye water. Maple syrup. Tomato juice. And not only was the resulting clean water tank crystal clear, I used PH strips to test it, and it remained stable. It just metabolized anything we ran it over. It's been a few months and I've never had to refill the water, not once. It's finally an autonomous robot, and for that, it'd be worth it at $1899. But for $1139, I don't need to think about whether its better to spend less on a high end Roborock, the 3i is cheaper. |3i S10 Ultra|$1899.99|$1139.99 w code: S10USAVE5|40%|[https://amzn.to/3GsRZlm](https://amzn.to/3GsRZlm)| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| # Best vacuum if you have no budget Embargo'd til 7/7 # Best vacuum if you have thresholds The good news, since many of you are trying to decide between the Saros 10/10r and the Dreame X50 Ultra, is that I can make it easy. Get the Dreame X50. You won't like the reason I recommend it, though. It's simple: the Roborock Saros 10 is not, for reasons I don't get, on Prime Day special, only the 10R is. While the 10 and 10r are [supposed](https://lifehacker.com/tech/roborock-saros-10-vs-saros-10r-robot-vacuum-comparison) to have very similar builds with a lifting chassis, they don't act like it. The 10 is a better robot than the X50, so if you can afford it, buy it. If not, the X50 is a fine robot. Genuinely. And I never got tired of watching it yeet itself over thresholds and steps. The AI onboard helped the robot get better over time at navigation, and if anything, my only complaint is that it had to return to dock all the time to top up or recharge, so cleaning a whole house took a long time to get done. Worth mentioning: I recently tested the Mova P50 Ultra, and while I thought the robot wasn't worth the price (by a lot), it did delight me in how it sailed over thresholds but also turned sideways to actively clean the threshold itself (but don't buy it, the build sucks). |Roborock Saros 10|$1599.99|$1599.99|0|[https://amzn.to/40xGAHO](https://amzn.to/40xGAHO)| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |Dreame X50 Ultra|$1699.99|1199.99|29%|[https://amzn.to/3GrCzhm](https://amzn.to/3GrCzhm)| |Roborock Saros 10R|$1,599.99|1,279.99|20%|[https://amzn.to/4lFxi4W](https://amzn.to/4lFxi4W)| # Best vacuum for pets Embargo'd til 7/7 # Best vacuum if you don't want a mop Embargo'd til 7/7 # Best vacuum if you don't want an auto-emptying tower This is absurd, you should want the tower, or there's almost no point in getting a robovac to begin with. r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->I didn't get it from Costco, but from the OEM. But I love our Roborock Q10 S5?+. We have a concrete basement with some rugs and vinyl, and a hardwood main floor. It does a great job mopping. We have a fairly satin finish on the hardwood so it's easy to see smudges and the Roborock does clean them up well. The vacuum part handles multiple cats well too.
r/Costco • Recommendations for robot vac & mop ->my roborock q10 could do this

I love my q10 upgrade from a basic roomba. Its amazing
r/Roborock • Why Pa specs are misleading - my 2,000 Pa S5 outcleans my 22,000 Pa Z70 ->I just upgraded to a roborock q10 with mop from a basic roomba and live it so much. I feel super smug every time it does its job and it does it far better than I ever did
r/Roborock • I was a Non-Believer ->Roborock!! I have 5 dogs plus a rotating foster dog. 2 huskies, a shepherd, a Pyrenees, and a Malinois. Foster is a shepherd/husky mix. I finally caved on prime day and got the Roborock Q10 S5+. I am EXTREMELY pleased with it. It does an awesome job at keeping up with the hair. A friend of mine also has 5 German shepherds and highly praised Roborock which is why I went with that brand. Very glad I did!!
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for Dog Hair? 4 dogs!! ->So I got the black one for $300. Not sure why the black one is back up to $550 and the white one is still marked down to $350 lol. But I would buy this for $350! It does have the mop function though. Black Friday will probably hold another good sale if you want to hold out. But from one person with a lot of dogs to another person with a lot of dogs: this thing is life changing!!!!
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for Dog Hair? 4 dogs!! ->I have 5 dogs + a rotating foster. 2 huskies, a GSD, a Pyrenees, and a belgian Mal. I feel your pain on the dog hair. I just got the Roborock Q10 S5+ for prime day. I am thoroughly impressed with it so far and I don’t think my floors have ever been cleaner. I do not have rugs though, hard floor only. It also is a vacuum mop combo but it does self empty. I paid $300 on prime day for the black one. The white one seems to still be priced at $350. I chose Roborock because I have a friend/fellow dog rescue volunteer that has 5 GSD’s and she spoke very very highly of her Roborock and she has an older version. I concur with her high praises!
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum for german shepherds ->Samme her, hadde en eldre Roborock som vi byttet med 10ern, og det var natt og dag i forhold til den gamle.
r/norge • Robotstøvsuger....? ->Hey guys A quick update for those who are waiting. So I ended up buying q10v+ from jb HiFi for 662. Here are my initial thoughts, of course based on comparison with dreame d10s plus. Quality: quality is sturdy, how a few nooks here and there definitely yells out budget vacuum. For example, for the base of the system is a sticky plastic to prevent mop from leaking water. Compared to dreme, definitely dreame gets the points. Map: ok so this was new to me. Dreame used camera and lidar. Whilst mapping it went to every corner of the room to get the map working. I was tad bit surprised with roborock as it only went not even half way, but got the mapping pretty spot on. Though I would have to redo but boy was I wrong. Point roborock. Initial setup: dreame was pretty darn seamless with initial setup, however, roborock struggled a bit. We eventually got their but took us a few tries. Point dreame. App: hands down roborock. So many more options, quick and snappy. Point roborock. Overall vacuum performance: boy roborock really shows it's 10000 pa as compared to dreame 5500. Did notice it vacuumed my living area and kitchen twice even though I had to vacuum once. Seems like roborock was intelligent enough to not be happy with the first attempt. Point roborock. Battery: this one is a tough one, roborock went from 100 to 29 whilst vacuuming my living area and kitchen, where dreame used to average around 60 percent. That could also come down to higher power and having a few gos. Mop: I hated my dreame for it's mop performance. Broke down twice. Roborock also has somewhat similar mop pad but with added pressure and vibration it gets the job done. Point roborock. Overall: hands down roborock. The performance of the vacuum was so much better. Though dreame used to follow a similar pattern, it tend to miss a few craves, roborock really outshined. Quality wise I would still say dreame was better quality vacuum and base, but don't be fooled by roborocks budget tag. It's performance is far superior. Also, some might find the comparison a bit counterproductive as I am comparing a 2023 model with 2025. But for the price, this little vacuum is a must have. Thank you all.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Q10V+ vs Others ->You have a lot of pretty good options with various features going up in price. Even the lower priced Q10 is a good vac, with optional self empty station. I'd definitely get the self empty model. It does mop but you have to clean the mop pads yourself. If you want rotary mops, any model from the QRevo series would be decent. Higher end models have things like extending mops and side brushes plus other features. They vacuum pretty well too. Though if you prioritize reliability, I'd skip the self cleaning mop models. There's just a lot more equipment to potentially break. Go with a simple mop model like the Q10 if reliability is your priority.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Since nobody has written anything about this model so far, I am taking care of the task. I couldn't find any direct experience with this model beyond some promotional material on youtube and the Vacuum Wars [Roborock 2025 Buying Guide](https://vacuumwars.com/ultimate-roborock-breakdown-2025-buyer-guide/) that described its features. I live alone, I have hard floors, no pets, wear no shoes inside and I was mainly looking for a vacuum-only model without a gigantic ugly dock, so that I could house the robot below my coffee table. Moreover I find the idea of having to replace bags very abhorrent: I can empty the canister myself well enough, thank you very much. Initially I ordered a Eufy C10 for 270 euros... oh boy that was the wrong choice (maybe I'll talk about it on r/eufy): I returned it after a day. Eufy's navigation was slow and awful. I then briefly considered the very cheap Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2, whose base wouldn't wouldn't have fitted under my coffee table. What really pushed me to the Q10 S5 was Roborock's famous superior navigation and the fact it has proper obstacle avoidance. The optional vibrarise 2.0 mopping system with onboard water, and 2 extra mopping pads for 300 euros in total sweetened the deal. And yeah this thing is a beast at navigating. I wish it had the extending brush like the Eufy C10 but it seems to be cleaning well even without it (and I'm sure Roborock is eager to create a new annoyingly named SKU featuring it). The app is much better than Eufy's, although Eufy's can make you edit how you want each room to be cleaned (this after always hearing Vacuum Wars saying how "granular" Roborock's app was). And yeah the mopping is great, despite hearing that the Vibrarise method isn't as effective as other mopping methods. Eventually I guess that I'll upgrade to a higher end model with a proper mop cleaning dock - one that doesn't look hideous, maybe the Curv's - when an Amazon sale comes, but for the moment I can throw the pads in the washer myself and I'm quite satisfied.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Hi! First, a dogmatic premise: I'm a dock station hater. I don't care for the current robot docks that exist for the only purpose of washing your dirty mop pads. I find them unsightly, big, and hard to meld them into most homes' decor. Most of all, I find them highly inefficient: these things take hours to wash and dry these mop pads. All the while I could just replace those pads with some clean ones and put the dirty ones in the washing machines waiting for the next wash cycle. This works for me and the use I do of my robot. Given this situation: which would you consider to be the best almost-stand-alone **mopping robot** with no pad-washing dock (it's ok, but not necessary, if the dock puts the dust in a bag. It's also ok if the dock only charges)? It seems to me like all the most advanced mopping robots are tied to cumbersome dock stations. I currently own a Roborock Q10 S5 and I quite like, but I was wondering if something even better was out there. Does anybody know? I had my eyes on the DREAME L10s Pro Gen 2 but my real *DREAM* would be to have one with an extending brush and - I might be wrong - it doesn't seem to exist yet. Thanks for reading!

Funny that after 6 years I am buying a more advanced model for cheaper.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →HI! I have a Roborock Q10 S5, only hardfloors and no pets. I like it quite enough, it navigates efficiently and it vacuums and mops nicely. I wish the dustbin and the water tank were separate entities instead of a combo item: it, in fact, requires a bit of care when dumping the dust as you could potentially spill water in your trashcan. Replacement mop pads are cheap, just a bit finnicky to install: you need to carefully slide them in using two hands, it's not a mindless velcro situation. Very cheap these days for the Amazon Prime discounts.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I have got it 3 days ago and have a docking issue. It just turns around in front of dock and never docks. I assume you never had this issue but many people have. Question: did you figure out how to attach the mop? I pull the robot from the docking to attach the mop and robot just starts and tries to dock back. I need it to not start and just let me to attach the mop!
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I’d recommend the Dreame l40 ultra and the MOVA p10 pro ultra at 400-450. Although they are vacuuming and mopping combo robots, they’re pretty good vacuum robots with great obstacle avoidance, chair legs and wires won’t be a concern. If it’s only chair legs that’s a concern, I’d check out the roborock q10 s5+ or if hair and fur shedding is a concern the dreame d20 plus/pro plus and the MOVA e30 pro plus which should be in the 200-400 range.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I also have the mopping Roborock and love it. We have 1 dog and 12 foster cats so daily sweeping and mopping is a necessity. It won’t save op money though I think it was $700. As long as the toys are picked up the only issue it occasionally has is with my really long hair getting wrapped around the rollers.
r/dogs • View on Reddit →I just upgraded to a roborock q10 with mop from a basic roomba and live it so much. I feel super smug every time it does its job and it does it far better than I ever did
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Thats the flagship model that is really for enthusiasts. I have the Roborock Q10 S5 that is WAY cheaper and is great for my needs
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →I can tell so many people in this comment section have no idea about robot vacuums and get their views from Roomba's that are years old now. I have 3 cheaper models I got 2nd hand, and they are probably the best purchase I have ever got. My floors have never been so clean before. Even the basic mopping surprised me how good it is, and mine are just microfiber clothes that just vibrate. The worst thing about them is I have to change the cloths and empty the dust bins (I recommend a full dock if you can). Plus, it will suck up a sock on occasion. The kitchen gets bits, juice, mud on the floor all the time as I have kids and a messy house and even my cheaper models do really well, saved me so much time.
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →The Q10 S5+ is a good vacuum focused option. The QV 35S is a very entry level robot vacuum and mop that I wouldn’t recommend if you live in a more humid or cooler area as it only dries the mops with room temperature air which has the risk of mildew whereas hot air drying helps a lot with preventing mildew.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Okay thanks. My old Xiaomi did not react to the disconnect, so I got used to it. How do you lift the robot without disconnecting it?
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I have the Roborock Q10 S5+, better suction then the QV35A
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Interesting! It’s like a slightly more premium version of the Q10 S5 I have. Mine has a 10000 pa of suction and a single hybrid roller (it’s not completely smooth, it has some bristles which I think help to avoid tangling) and no side sensors. And I guess the obstacle avoidance is also not as advanced as the S8’s but it’s ok as I don’t have clutter. Both have vibrarise.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Q8 Max wasn't really made for mopping. Since it cannot lift the passive mop, you have to detach the mop everytime you want vacuuming. Make the no mop zones a little wider, even when risking a small strip remaining not mopped. Serious multi-mode cleaning with active mop and lift for combined hard floor / carpet rooms starts with S8 or Q10 S5.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →I have the cheaper Q10 S5 and Q8 Max models and both are very good.
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →Maybe the roborock Q10 S5+ since it has vibrating mops which are better than passive swiffer-like mops. Please remember to wash and dry the mops after every cleaning run. 299 USD.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Depends if you want the robot to vacuum or vacuum and mop. Most combo robots generally sacrifice vacuuming ability to accommodate the mop parts. Best budget vacuuming focused robot is the roborock q10 s5+ or the dreame d20 plus/pro plus in the 200-300 range if pet fur is more of a concern. The Dyson VisNav 360 can be considered if you want a robot that cleans as well as a cordless Dyson (yes, a Dyson is one of the best robot vacuums) but there are tradeoffs regarding its battery life and navigation (current owners say it has improved). I’d only consider the Dyson if it is less than half of its retail price. Do not get the Dyson Spot+Scrub unless you like to burn your money. Best bang for buck robot vacuum and mop combo is the dreame l40 ultra at 400 usd on amazon.
r/VacuumCleaners • View on Reddit →I have 3 vacuums I got 2nd hand or cheaper from eBay. I have x2 Roborock Q8 Max and 1 Roborock Q10 S5 (newer model). I highly recommend getting one with a dock, as I have to empty the bins quite a bit. Whereas the one with a dock I just check it occasionally. You can normally get the Q10 S5 on offer at Amazon fairly regularly. Generally what I find is that if you run them at least daily (im in a family house), they keep the dust and dirt down and my carpet and floors look freshly cleaned every day. My cat flicks litter out the tray, so I normally do an early morning run to get that up just before I get up.
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →My S4 is thankfully still going fine (except it 'mystically' stopped cross-hatching), however i did want something with some basic obstacle avoidance and having replaced the original use-case for the S4 with something that had an auto empty dock, i really wanted that function too. I get your waste to have a mop function and not use it, and i also understand the getting used to manually emptying every day, but honestly, the ease and improvement in suction when the bin is frequently (and automatically) emptied, is worth it. For the mop, manufacturers are shoving one on there whether it's any good or not, it's a check box for the showroom brochure, i would just ignore the fact it has one. Now, i replaced my S4 with an Q10 S5+ - it's the auto-dock'd version (the +) and whilst it has the fancier mop compared to the otherwise identical Q10 X5+, for some reason, the S5+ is frequently available for $299 on sale. Finally, bear in mind our S4 has a great/large dust bin capacity, that's not typically the case with newer models, they're more or less designed to have an auto empty dock to compensate. To go back to my point of getting max performance during the vacuum run, i have mine empty every 15 minutes, keeps the bin and the filter more clear, as the more full the bin, the lower the suction will be. I tried various replacements for the S4 for carpet-only performance, and the Q10 was the best.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Definitely Roborock. [Q10 s5+ is also on sale for $349](https://www.amazon.com/roborock-Q10-S5-Self-Emptying-Anti-Tangle/dp/B0DWXBCQVP) with the clippable coupon. It’s the q8 max+ upgraded. Better suction power, Object avoidance and nav.

I got the roborock qrevo pro and the q10 pf+ The qrevo pro was 599 and that one I use downstairs for mopping and vacuuming . It’s works fabulous The q10pf + was 279 and I use it upstairs just for vacuuming. I have all carpeting upstairs . It can mop but I don’t use that feature . Point is, that I just went out and got one cause if you overthink it , you’ll never get one . It’s not that deep of a decision and I gave myself decision paralysis trying to find a good one . Everyone had their own opinions and in all reality , they are all pretty good . Go out , buy one , almost all stores you can bring something back within 30 days . Try it out , if you don’t like it , return it within 30 days . Good luck !
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Mopping has greatly improved on most robots. It’s hard to find a vacuum focused robot with all the bells and whistles. A good budget vacuum focused one is the Q10 S5+. A combo robot vacuum and mop helps keep the floor clean and barefoot friendly between professional cleanings. Plenty of options to choose from. If you have pets that shed a lot and long hair, check out the QRevo Curv X, Curv 2 Pro, and Saros 10 or 10R.

r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Mine doesnt do that. But higher end models do. If you have a larger house or lots of hard floor it's probably worth looking at models like that. Mine are the basic mop pad that rises up on carpet. I have the Roborock Q10 S5 and older Q8 Max. Vacuum wars YouTube channel will be able to help if you are looking for a robo vac.
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →Yeah I have them options available, but I can't be bothered most of the time as I know it will either get it later or I just send it round again (at most it takes 10 mins for the largest room). I have a Roborock q10 S5 and Q8 Max. My house has never been so well vacuumed :)
r/nextfuckinglevel • View on Reddit →I think there’s a maximum distance a modern robot with lidar can go from its dock before crying for help and treating it as the edge of its world. I’d check out the roborock Q10 S5+ with a detachable mop.

r/Roborock • View on Reddit →The Q10 S5+ is a good budget robot. If your pets shed a lot I’d check out the dreame d20 plus or the d20 pro plus as it has a fur compression feature that lets it do better with fur without clogging up in the middle and leaving empty space on the sides.

That discount is fake, the bobsweep isn't and was never worth the stated full price. It's current "sale" price in reality is just a "fair-ish" price. Basically don't be swayed by the seemingly huge discount, that's just a cynical marketing maneuver and there are better choices out there. With any robot vac, if longevity is a concern, I'd look at getting an extended warranty at time of purchase. Usually they're a waste of money but in this case it's saved me.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Don't spend $1000 on one, go for one around $350-$400 with an auto emptying dock. Roborock is my favorite. You'll get 99% the same features and function as the $1k one, and if you like it then you can get a second one and still be under $1k!

Moreover if you ever feel like trying the mop, it’s the vibrating type (so not purely dragging the mop around) and it does a great job with it.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Got the Q10 s5+. Seems about cheapest at $300. Got a week ago, smartest cheap one to buy feels like. No water tank is a con, having to fill up in tiny vacuum. L10s dreame looks nice for same proce, but don't want a camera.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I think dreame and MOVA have vacuuming focused robots that are better suited for heavily shedding pets like their d20 plus/pro plus, and the MOVA E30 as it has the fur compression feature so the dustbin won’t clog in one part with a lot of empty space in the middle. If you want something that mops, I’d get the edge 5V1 as it has an antitangle main brush. Hot air mop drying helps a lot in prevent mildew unlike the QV35 and the QV35A.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →Getting a robot vac as a suplement to perform a daily sweep and help keep on top of the floors can be helpful ideal. Replacing a normal upright entirely with a robot is not such a good idea. No robot can match the rug cleaning performance and power of a normal vac, they can't reach a lot of spots or vacuum furniture and corners either. I would always recommend having a normal vac around for deeper cleaning. Robot vacs do require maintenance themselves especially if long hair is involved. The rollers, even "anti tangle" ones accumulate hair in the brush roller ends which need to be cleared out regularly, on top of the regular filter cleaning and emptying. Plus they can struggle if cords, sock, and pet toys are laying around. All that said and if you think the maintainence won't be a burden, I'd look at the roborock q7 and q10 series of models. I've had relatively good luck with robotock machines, and they should help keep up with the floors. I wouldn't pay much attention to mopping functions either. Usually they're more work than help.
