Where does this fit in their lineup? New flagship or is it below the S1 Pro? I loved the S1 Pro at first but it's self-destructing pretty rapidly. Rear port is being ripped out by the connector on the base station, wheel squeak is getting worse and worse, leaks dirty water everywhere, auto empty works 80% correctly maybe 50% of the time, pauses all the time, disconnects from base station, and recently went into "standby" in the middle of a task before randomly resuming 4 hours later. Just skimming over this post and the photos, I definitely like the idea of this one better but not if it has the same quirks and design issues.

Yes, but be careful, the S1 Pro has a force of 10N, but above all, the roller turns at 170 rpm compared to 100 for the Aqua10. Afterwards, you also have to look at the quality and abrasive efficiency of the roller itself.

Yes, it works for pets. Even the Aqua10 Track with 25kPa works. I have a short-haired dog and I use the Aqua10 Roller and Track daily, and for that part, it works. However, I don't know if the vacuums produce 25kPa and 30kPa. In any case, I don't see any greater improvement than a Eufy S1 Pro with 8kPa at MAX suction. I didn't understand when you were talking about it stopping if it blocks the way? If you're talking about if your dog goes in front of it, yes, it will go around it (and take a video of it if you activate the animal monitoring option) and if you activate the option to return at the end of cleaning on the blocking places, it will come back to clean this area at the end

I debated between the S1 and this for a while, but having previously used Roborock I guess I just stuck with what I knew. There isn’t physical mud piles, but definitely dirty paws quite often. One notable aspect of Eufy S1 Pro is its obstacle-avoidance technology. The cheapest robot vacuums typically don't have obstacle avoidance and navigation features, instead relying mostly on luck and bumpers, which can cause them to get tangled in cords or stuck on objects. S1 Pro, on the other hand, excels in this area with its intelligent navigation capabilities.

No robot is 100%. Not yet anyway. Ive not used a J9+ but I've heard of its rep. I would not trust it. I believe either the new Mova roller or Dreame Aqua probably has the best obstacle recognition currently but still not perfect.  Previous generations of robots are good. The Narwal or the Eufy S1 pro. But less so than what you can expect in the next couple years. However the Narwal has horrible mapping ability in a large open layout. No full control of merging or splitting rooms - otherwise well above average. Currently running a Eufy S1 Pro and its pretty good...much better obstacle recognition than average on hardwood/LVP..... but not on carpet. (Eufy also has other concerns. Beware of vacuuming mixed messes.) Again...nothing current is 100% foolproof. Nothing.

No, My mopping is set to run daily and I have no pets or kids. Floor is spotless and clean. Dirty water tank and resevore smells awful. The Eufy S1 Pro has a defective cleaning solution pump because they didn't design the bottle right and if you make a hole in the bottle so there's not a vacuum, it still puts out very little solution

While roller mops are more difficult to maintain compared to spinning mops, their superior cleaning performance makes them worth it. The Eufy S1 Pro, S1, E25, Ecovacs X8, and the new X9 are all solid options. But if you want better customer support and more reliable software, Eufy is the way to go.

If the budget is not an issue, I would highly recommend the eufy S1 Pro. It has the most powerful mopping function, making it very handy for dealing with sticky or wet messes. Check out related review videos on YouTube, and for most wet messes, it can clean it all up in one go. As for smell, I would suggest using floor cleaner to avoid any unpleasant smells. Also, because the S1 Pro uses ozone sterilization, many people have mentioned that it helps reduce the odor from the dirty water tank. Finally, maintenance. S1 Pro may require more upkeep compared to other robot vacuums, but it is worth it. And by "more maintenance" here just means checking the brushes and base station every 1-2 weeks for better cleaning.

If mopping is your main priority, you should just look at Eufy. The spinning mops are outdated; they have only one water tank, which means they must return to the base to wash the mop. But eufy S1 Pro, E28, and E25 have two water tanks, allowing them to wash the mop while mopping, so they don’t spread dirt around. I have a UK version of E25, and I love it! It’s so much better than my previous spinning mops.

Picked up an S1 Pro about a month ago ( < $600.00 price mistake... bragging). It's my first roller mop and it does absolutely great cleaning and navigating on my hardwood/LVP.  I agree about carpet. That's why I've kept my Roborock Q5 pro. It vacuums really well. The 'win/win' is this lets me keep the Eufy vacuum setting on low and that helps with battery life. I run the Q5 pro first and after it cleans one room, I have the Eufy follow always one hardwood/LVP room behind the Roborock. Lastly the Q5 pro will vacuum my carpeted rooms while the S1 pro is finishes on the hardwood/LVP. This works out well. I've found except for inner corners the Eufy does well getting under kickplates. And luckily it has not leaked like I've read on other posts when I was researching. For mopping, compared to the Dreame L20 Ultra's it mops significantly more dirt. Never going back to mop pads.  Given the posts on Robot Vacuums detailing problems with the new roller/vacs by Mova and Narwal and Dreame I'd wait a good while to see if bugs can be worked out with firmware software and how these robots will hold up after a good six months on the market. The added bonus of waiting is prices usually come down.
