Eufy - Omni E28

Pleased you are amused. What is the point in telling people bull shit. I've had an L20, L40, X40. The only one with no issues was the L20 and is still going strong. The L40 and X40 were replaced twice. I've had problems with Samsung . . I'm currently running a roborock, useless with obstacle avoidance, excellent on carpet, and a Eufy E28, very good but a very basic app. It isn't just about Dreame it's about giving no bull shit honest opinions

Eufy E25 or E28? I’m waiting for my pre-sale coupon to purchase the E25. They just became available in the US.

In the end, I still think you’ll be happier. The E28 has over double the suction compared to S1 Pro. I think all robotic vacuums dirty water tanks smell awful. I do NOT work for any of these companies and use this info at your own risk, but I have found a little splash of Mr. Clean into the dirty tank after each empty keeps the smell manageable. (NO bleach)

I just bought the eufy e28 and I believe just like the s1 pro they will release an attachment for auto pump and drain.

I've been scouring Reddit, trying to decide if I should wait or move ahead with one of the roller mops. I'm upgrading from the Roborock S7 Max V to trying out the Eufy E28 Omni right now. I was torn between the Narwal Flow with the Auto plumbing or the Aqua 10 Roller Ultra or the Mova Z50 Ultra. Seeing as how Narwal has been running this launch, I don't know how much trust a company that doesn't even respect their own products by handicapping an entire option right at launch. They're launching the standard base station without the auto detergent that they were advertising at CES, and then they are launching the auto base station without warranty or accessories and for a lot more than standard. Is it because the standard base station was rushed that they had to remove certain features at launch, and who knows what other corners were cut to make up for the launch. Or is it because the auto base station is made so poorly that they can't stand by it and have to remove the warranty because they know it probably will fail in less than 3 years... Or both. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on the Narwal Flow with the auto exchanger, but now seeing the confirmation that they won't include the same warranty and accessories, even though it is significantly more than standard. I'm not sure now...

easy peasy. its beteen the saros and dreame, the roomba is laughable, and the e28 has a lot of errors. I prefer the Saros.

Honestly, i wouldn't buy either of these, I didn't love them, BUT.... I can confirm they will not go on sale until 7/8, and the deals have already been announced. It was 5 weeks ago, and the e28 they sent me that I tested 8 weeks ago behaved exactly the same way.

personally i did not like the e28 and find Eufy's combo units to be miserable. it's not a great carpet cleaner OR vacuum... wth. But... look around this forum- people LOVE that machine. I'm an outlier. So I would say this. There are going to be 2 smoking deals in the next week, starting tomorrow. You could buy one of them, or snag a deal today, keep both in the box and try the Eufy and see how you like it. Return the unopened box.

If you are willing to spend $100 more, get the Dreame L40 Ultra. it's on clearance, so its $474, but this was a VERY popular model, and you're getting a premium, $1500 robot at 1/3 of the price. It's such a good deal it's hard to argue for anything else at that price point. Don't get another Eufy. This will be better.

This isn't even a competition. Then. I did not like the x9. I don't know why so many people did, did they bother testing it in a real house? It was kind of a mess. I did also test the 10 and the 10r and both worked well. If you've limited it to these two units then it's a no-brainer for me.

Hey. Because you're all hard floor and you named some specific features, I thought I'd talk through this with you. So, Pa is important, sure, but I'm testing robots with absurdly high Pa (over 20k) that miss a lot of debris, and then there's the Switchbot K10+ which has almost no Pa and gets most stuff up. I believe, strongly, that Pa matters less than people think (and marketing people at big brands agree, they keep upping Pa because consumers name it as their main decision making factor). What matters is the design and location of the sweeps in relation to the roller. I say all this because on hard floors, you see ALL the cat hair and litter... so that design is even more important. Navigating around toys: easy. Everyone does it well. Cords? No one does it well. Debris management: 3 months in between changing the bag isn't a big deal. I think you'll be fine. mova v50- low end parts. dreame L50- wasn't bad, but thought the vacuum left a lot to be desired. narwal freo z10, narwal freo z ultra- opposite of no maintenance. you'll be refilling the water every day. eufy e28-has the right sweep/roller design, but was riddled with errors and leaks roborock qrevo curv s5x. dreame x50- good option. With toddlers that likes to spill milk and other food items on the floor, I cannot see robo mops without roller working efficiently. Why do you dislike Eufy, especially the ones with roller mop, S1 Pro, E25/28?

I don't know the price of the Mova Z60 in your country, but if it fits your budget, it's an interesting choice for both vacuuming and mopping. Otherwise, you can also choose the Eufy E25/E28, which should be less expensive and are very good. However, you should make sure you get version 2 of the dirty water tank upon delivery, or request one from Eufy, otherwise you'll experience leaks. Perhaps you should also consider the Narwal Flow. I don't know what the Flow anti-tangling brush is worth.

I have both Saros 10R and Eufy e28. Writing up a review at the moment, will post later in the week. IMO 10R's vacuuming isn't great, but for us at least it gets the floating hair on the medium pile carpet. I would say e28's vacuuming performance is similar or slightly worse in my environment. And yes e28 leaves dirty water around sometimes due to dirty water tank design. For now I'm thinking of keeping both because neither is perfect and I want the best of spinning and roller mop. Feel free to ask more questions if you have any.

I usually check it every other day, so it has never been full yet and I don't know. The clean water tank got empty once and I did receive a notification from the app. When we had the old S7, and when the dirty water tank was full, I would get a notification.

I second that. Get the new E25 or E28 from eufy. The rolling mop is a gamechanger.

Used it once, actually about to start it again in a minute. Seemed to do well. I watched it map the house in the app and then I watched it clean in the app. Had to make a few adjustments to the glass door threshold but other than that it worked fine. I just saw an email from Eufy about upcoming deals. If they drop the price considerably, I'll attempt to buy one and then return it at the $800 price I paid the other week.

I use a Roomba (Eufy E28) to vacuum twice a day. But I got the Hercules 2.5 gallon battery powered shop vac for spot cleaning. Along with battery power it has normal wall outlet capabilities too!

If mopping is your main priority, you should just look at Eufy. The spinning mops are outdated; they have only one water tank, which means they must return to the base to wash the mop. But eufy S1 Pro, E28, and E25 have two water tanks, allowing them to wash the mop while mopping, so they don’t spread dirt around. I have a UK version of E25, and I love it! It’s so much better than my previous spinning mops.

Eufy or Mova might be more reliable than Ecovacs for long-term use. Odors can be addressed by adding cleaning solution and using the standard drying mode. The roller mop may be slightly more complex to maintain than the spinning mop, but it can provide cleaning results that are way better. And you have two dogs, the E28 would probably be a better fit since its spot cleaner is said to be great for cleaning up pet messes.

We bought our Eufy robo vac/mop last June, since then it's cleaned: 428 Times 317h3m 158380 ft² I would say that the investment was more than worthwhile.

The problem with the current extended mop is that it doesn’t apply enough pressure, so while the edges may look clean, the actual cleaning result isn’t great. Hope Eufy can address both of these issues in S2 series.

I just bought the e28 for $800. There was a discount code floating around this sub for $200 off bringing the price down to $799+tax when purchased through Eufy directly. Just got it yesterday and had the first clearing today. It did really well, and way better than my roborock e4 that was nearly 5 years old. Love mine. No tangles. Great mopping. Great vacuuming. Obstacle avoidance has been great. App is great. Literally the only downside I have found is the base station when emptying is loud.

You can disable mopping, I know for a fact it works. My 10 yr old hardwood floor is basically shinning

If no mop then I would go something from Roborock at the top of your budget. I struggled too man. I went with a Eufy 28 because I really wanted a good mop and at my price point, it's the best bang for my buck.

I have the eify e28 (e25 vac with a portable cleaner upgrade on the base). It picks up all the dog hair easily. We dont have cats or litter but it does excellent with the kids crumbs all over the floor. Lots of dry cereal gets spilled and it doenst miss a beat. I would think that similiar to cat litter. Our floors are hardwood and area rugs. The portable cleaner on the e28 also is great for pets stains on furniture and carpet.

How big is your floor area? Is it a one-story or two-story home? If you don’t mind how long the robot takes to finish cleaning, then one unit should be enough, even with two floors. Most robot vacuums can handle multi-level cleaning; you’d just need to carry it upstairs when needed. What’s your budget like? Two of the most popular models here right now are eufy E28/E25 and MOVA P50 Pro. Eufy’s latest models have improved suction and anti-tangle performance, which a lot of pet owners really appreciate. And it uses the best roller mops for mopping. MOVA, which is a sub-brand of Dreame, also has a solid reputation and strong features.

Honestly, for a robot vacuum with a roller mop, I think E28 is a great deal. Both Eufy S1 Pro and Ecovacs X8 Pro are priced over $1000. E28’s mopping performance is probably on par with theirs.

Many robot vacuums can get the job done; Roborock, Eufy, and Dreame are all reliable brands. I suppose pet hair and paw prints might be big issues in your home, so preventing tangles and mops are important. The Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy E28/25 feature dual separation rollers to tackle tangles. For mopping, spinning mops are sufficient, but if you want the best, go for a roller mop.

I really liked the e28 bot but the base station is really loud. Watch out for that if you are wanting to run it at night. I returned it and ended up with a dreame L40 Ultra. It's actually pretty good
