Shetland Sheepdog owner here, the struggle is REAL. my robovac eufy e28 fights them all day long. Its duospiral brush really gets the deep-down dog hair out of the carpets, and the portable cleaner is perfect for hitting furniture and those hard-to-reach spots. Honestly, it's cut down on the fur madness significantly. It won't solve everything but I do feel better after.
r/Nordiccountries • What are your secret weapons in the Great Dog Hair War? ->If mopping is your main priority, you should just look at Eufy. The spinning mops are outdated; they have only one water tank, which means they must return to the base to wash the mop. But eufy S1 Pro, E28, and E25 have two water tanks, allowing them to wash the mop while mopping, so they don’t spread dirt around. I have a UK version of E25, and I love it! It’s so much better than my previous spinning mops.

Pleased you are amused. What is the point in telling people bull shit. I've had an L20, L40, X40. The only one with no issues was the L20 and is still going strong. The L40 and X40 were replaced twice. I've had problems with Samsung . . I'm currently running a roborock, useless with obstacle avoidance, excellent on carpet, and a Eufy E28, very good but a very basic app. It isn't just about Dreame it's about giving no bull shit honest opinions
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame L50 Ultra Durability ->Eufy E25 or E28? I’m waiting for my pre-sale coupon to purchase the E25. They just became available in the US.
r/RobotVacuums • Best roller mop vacuum combo ->In the end, I still think you’ll be happier. The E28 has over double the suction compared to S1 Pro. I think all robotic vacuums dirty water tanks smell awful. I do NOT work for any of these companies and use this info at your own risk, but I have found a little splash of Mr. Clean into the dirty tank after each empty keeps the smell manageable. (NO bleach)
r/RobotVacuums • Best roller mop vacuum combo ->I just bought the eufy e28 and I believe just like the s1 pro they will release an attachment for auto pump and drain.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Mopping Vacuum w/ auto refill/Drain ->I've been scouring Reddit, trying to decide if I should wait or move ahead with one of the roller mops. I'm upgrading from the Roborock S7 Max V to trying out the Eufy E28 Omni right now. I was torn between the Narwal Flow with the Auto plumbing or the Aqua 10 Roller Ultra or the Mova Z50 Ultra. Seeing as how Narwal has been running this launch, I don't know how much trust a company that doesn't even respect their own products by handicapping an entire option right at launch. They're launching the standard base station without the auto detergent that they were advertising at CES, and then they are launching the auto base station without warranty or accessories and for a lot more than standard. Is it because the standard base station was rushed that they had to remove certain features at launch, and who knows what other corners were cut to make up for the launch. Or is it because the auto base station is made so poorly that they can't stand by it and have to remove the warranty because they know it probably will fail in less than 3 years... Or both. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on the Narwal Flow with the auto exchanger, but now seeing the confirmation that they won't include the same warranty and accessories, even though it is significantly more than standard. I'm not sure now...
r/RobotVacuums • Pre-ordered Flow, but still open to changing to Aqua 10 Roller ->easy peasy. its beteen the saros and dreame, the roomba is laughable, and the e28 has a lot of errors. I prefer the Saros.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robotic vacuum and mop ->I had so much trouble getting the e28 to work I wasn't even able to test it enough to write about. I was able to use the carpet cleaner, that's it. When it worked, the issues were similar to these, in the e25: https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-e25-robot-vacuum-review.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robotic vacuum and mop ->Honestly, i wouldn't buy either of these, I didn't love them, BUT.... I can confirm they will not go on sale until 7/8, and the deals have already been announced. The [e25](https://amzn.to/4lb3Ofh) is going to be $699 and the [e28](https://amzn.to/4euK9UW) $799, and those deals are the same on amazon, walmart and [eufy.com](http://eufy.com) (but those are affiliate links for Amazon, which has the best return policy, IMO). if you're curious why I wouldn't, I covered them here: https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-e25-robot-vacuum-review. But... everyone should get what makes them happy. I have a list of all the prime day deals here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1ljl8wd/prime\_day\_deals/](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1ljl8wd/prime_day_deals/)
r/RobotVacuums • what's your prime day plan? ->It was 5 weeks ago, and the e28 they sent me that I tested 8 weeks ago behaved exactly the same way.
r/RobotVacuums • what's your prime day plan? ->personally i did not like the e28 and find Eufy's combo units to be miserable. it's not a great carpet cleaner OR vacuum... wth. But... look around this forum- people LOVE that machine. I'm an outlier. So I would say this. There are going to be 2 smoking deals in the next week, starting tomorrow. You could buy one of them, or snag a deal today, keep both in the box and try the Eufy and see how you like it. Return the unopened box.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day last chance- a few hours left to score PD deals. Are you on the fence? Let's cut through it. ->sure. If you are willing to spend $100 more, get the Dreame L40 Ultra. it's on clearance, so its $474, but this was a VERY popular model, and you're getting a premium, $1500 robot at 1/3 of the price. It's such a good deal it's hard to argue for anything else at that price point. Don't get another Eufy. This will be better.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day last chance- a few hours left to score PD deals. Are you on the fence? Let's cut through it. ->This isn't even a competition. Then. I did not like the x9. I don't know why so many people did, did they bother testing it in a real house? It was kind of a mess. I did also test the 10 and the 10r and both worked well. If you've limited it to these two units then it's a no-brainer for me.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day last chance- a few hours left to score PD deals. Are you on the fence? Let's cut through it. ->Hey. Because you're all hard floor and you named some specific features, I thought I'd talk through this with you. So, Pa is important, sure, but I'm testing robots with absurdly high Pa (over 20k) that miss a lot of debris, and then there's the Switchbot K10+ which has almost no Pa and gets most stuff up. I believe, strongly, that Pa matters less than people think (and marketing people at big brands agree, they keep upping Pa because consumers name it as their main decision making factor). What matters is the design and location of the sweeps in relation to the roller. I say all this because on hard floors, you see ALL the cat hair and litter... so that design is even more important. Navigating around toys: easy. Everyone does it well. Cords? No one does it well. Debris management: 3 months in between changing the bag isn't a big deal. I think you'll be fine. mova v50- low end parts. dreame L50- wasn't bad, but thought the vacuum left a lot to be desired. narwal freo z10, narwal freo z ultra- opposite of no maintenance. you'll be refilling the water every day. eufy e28-has the right sweep/roller design, but was riddled with errors and leaks roborock qrevo curv s5x. dreame x50- good option. r/RobotVacuums • Vacuum/Mop Combo Needed for Hardwood/Tile ->With toddlers that likes to spill milk and other food items on the floor, I cannot see robo mops without roller working efficiently. Why do you dislike Eufy, especially the ones with roller mop, S1 Pro, E25/28?
r/RobotVacuums • I write about robot vacuums for a living. AMA. ->I don't know the price of the Mova Z60 in your country, but if it fits your budget, it's an interesting choice for both vacuuming and mopping. Otherwise, you can also choose the Eufy E25/E28, which should be less expensive and are very good. However, you should make sure you get version 2 of the dirty water tank upon delivery, or request one from Eufy, otherwise you'll experience leaks. Perhaps you should also consider the Narwal Flow. I don't know what the Flow anti-tangling brush is worth.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum right now? ->I have both Saros 10R and Eufy e28. Writing up a review at the moment, will post later in the week. IMO 10R's vacuuming isn't great, but for us at least it gets the floating hair on the medium pile carpet. I would say e28's vacuuming performance is similar or slightly worse in my environment. And yes e28 leaves dirty water around sometimes due to dirty water tank design. For now I'm thinking of keeping both because neither is perfect and I want the best of spinning and roller mop. Feel free to ask more questions if you have any.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I usually check it every other day, so it has never been full yet and I don't know. The clean water tank got empty once and I did receive a notification from the app. When we had the old S7, and when the dirty water tank was full, I would get a notification.
r/Roborock • View on Reddit →I second that. Get the new E25 or E28 from eufy. The rolling mop is a gamechanger.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Used it once, actually about to start it again in a minute. Seemed to do well. I watched it map the house in the app and then I watched it clean in the app. Had to make a few adjustments to the glass door threshold but other than that it worked fine. I just saw an email from Eufy about upcoming deals. If they drop the price considerably, I'll attempt to buy one and then return it at the $800 price I paid the other week.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I use a Roomba (Eufy E28) to vacuum twice a day. But I got the Hercules 2.5 gallon battery powered shop vac for spot cleaning. Along with battery power it has normal wall outlet capabilities too!
r/litterrobot • View on Reddit →If mopping is your main priority, you should just look at Eufy. r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Eufy or Mova might be more reliable than Ecovacs for long-term use. Odors can be addressed by adding cleaning solution and using the standard drying mode. The roller mop may be slightly more complex to maintain than the spinning mop, but it can provide cleaning results that are way better. And you have two dogs, the E28 would probably be a better fit since its spot cleaner is said to be great for cleaning up pet messes.

r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →We bought our Eufy robo vac/mop last June, since then it's cleaned: 428 Times 317h3m 158380 ft² I would say that the investment was more than worthwhile.
r/unpopularopinion • View on Reddit →The problem with the current extended mop is that it doesn’t apply enough pressure, so while the edges may look clean, the actual cleaning result isn’t great. Hope Eufy can address both of these issues in S2 series.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I just bought the e28 for $800. There was a discount code floating around this sub for $200 off bringing the price down to $799+tax when purchased through Eufy directly. Just got it yesterday and had the first clearing today. It did really well, and way better than my roborock e4 that was nearly 5 years old. Obviously not even in the same league but the roborock is what I had up until it committed suicide by running over dog poop. https://preview.redd.it/gfzu9j4zos9f1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3323419c4c493a00bcbda10ca101095462301c65
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Love mine. No tangles. Great mopping. Great vacuuming. Obstacle avoidance has been great. App is great. Literally the only downside I have found is the base station when emptying is loud.

r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Just received my E28 and I love it. I think the extra $100 is worth it for the added spot cleaner.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →This isn't even a competition. Then. I did not like the x9. I don't know why so many people did, did they bother testing it in a real house? It was kind of a mess. r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →It was 5 weeks ago, and the e28 they sent me that I tested 8 weeks ago behaved exactly the same way.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →If no mop then I would go something from Roborock at the top of your budget. I struggled too man. I went with a Eufy 28 because I really wanted a good mop and at my price point, it's the best bang for my buck.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I have the eify e28 (e25 vac with a portable cleaner upgrade on the base). It picks up all the dog hair easily. We dont have cats or litter but it does excellent with the kids crumbs all over the floor. Lots of dry cereal gets spilled and it doenst miss a beat. I would think that similiar to cat litter. Our floors are hardwood and area rugs. The portable cleaner on the e28 also is great for pets stains on furniture and carpet.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →How big is your floor area? Is it a one-story or two-story home? If you don’t mind how long the robot takes to finish cleaning, then one unit should be enough, even with two floors. Most robot vacuums can handle multi-level cleaning; you’d just need to carry it upstairs when needed. What’s your budget like? Two of the most popular models here right now are eufy E28/E25 and MOVA P50 Pro. Eufy’s latest models have improved suction and anti-tangle performance, which a lot of pet owners really appreciate. And it uses the best roller mops for mopping. MOVA, which is a sub-brand of Dreame, also has a solid reputation and strong features.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I actually got the Eufy e28 a few months ago for like 700, I’ve had a roborock and the eufy blows it out of the water. Thing is pretty solid

It's such a good deal it's hard to argue for anything else at that price point. Don't get another Eufy. This will be better.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Honestly, for a robot vacuum with a roller mop, I think E28 is a great deal. Both Eufy S1 Pro and Ecovacs X8 Pro are priced over $1000. E28’s mopping performance is probably on par with theirs.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Many robot vacuums can get the job done; Roborock, Eufy, and Dreame are all reliable brands. I suppose pet hair and paw prints might be big issues in your home, so preventing tangles and mops are important. The Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy E28/25 feature dual separation rollers to tackle tangles. For mopping, spinning mops are sufficient, but if you want the best, go for a roller mop.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Laat week got an eufy e28, does good carpet, vaccum and mop too. Mother sale msrp is 920$ https://share.eufylife.com/v1/shopping/s/g/8xfZbl_ls
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I really liked the e28 bot but the base station is really loud. Watch out for that if you are wanting to run it at night. I returned it and ended up with a dreame L40 Ultra. It's actually pretty good
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →It's great. Just be sure they send you the new dirty water tank. Because the one that comes with it is leaking.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I just got the Eufy E28 and it is quieter than the S7+ that I was using previously. The auto emptying is definitely loud though. I have a lot of pets and have had zero tangles so far with the split brush, which was the biggest reason I upgraded vacuums at all. I am happy with how little I've had to touch it, which has been nothing at all after the initial filling of water. The obstacle avoidance is good so far for my cords and such, but I cant speak to something like the edge of a blanket yet. It has a feature that goes over dirty areas again if it senses a heavily soiled area. There seems to be a feature where the vacuum will inspect the area after its done cleaning to see if there are stains left behind.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I have both Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy e28 on your list for a couple of weeks now. And for now I decided to keep both. Posted a review earlier: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/s/PW7vVWd6uN From my limited research, Roborock seems to be the most reliable brand, with Eufy coming in second. I also had a Roomba i7+ for about 3 years. I would say for vacuuming performance, 10R and e28 would not exceed your i8, but they are much better in other aspects, such as navigation and mopping. If your floor is mostly tile, both should do fine. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Got the eufy E28 and I like it. Keeps everything clean. It’s I have to pick it up and place it on the dock about once a week.
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I just settled on a Eufy e28 because of its mopping capabilities at a great price. I think if you are dealing with no carpet and care more about mopping then I would look for a roller mop. I couldn't afford any robot with a roller mop besides the Eufy or Ecobot but Dreame makes one (roborock does not yet).
r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →*TLDR: both vacuums have pros and cons. Saros 10R is quiet, gets into tight places easily, and mops edges well. Eufy e28 works fast, has a roller mop and handheld cleaner.* I'm a long time robot vac fan who has been lurking on different subs. Over the years I've owned (and sold) numerous robots since 2015, from Neato Botvac 70e, D3, D4, D75, to Braava Jet M6, Roomba i7+ and S9+, to Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. Initially Neato was doing great with lidar, but iRobot came up with auto empty dock. However, with the lack of lidar, both Roombas I owned were very slow. Eventually I switched to Roborock after hearing good things. My S7 vacuumed and mopped nearly daily for almost 3 years, in the end it covered almost 1 million sq ft and still worked well. We just bought 3 new robots during Prime Day. Now we have Roborock S8+ for the loft, good old Neato Botvac D4 in the garage, Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 for the main floor (~1000 sq ft floor space). We have two cats and a young child, mostly hardwood floor, one room with medium pile carpet, and some Ruggable area rugs (low to medium pile). The humans all have short hair for now. I bought Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 with the intention of keeping both, if nothing goes wrong, because I want the best of both models. Why did I choose them? - Saros 10R: our cat sometimes have poop accidents on the floor, and I cleaned smeared poop out of our old S7 3 times. As a result I want to best model in obstacle avoidance. Roborock is known for its reliability. If I only get one robot for the main floor, this would be it. - Eufy e28: I've been interested in roller mop since we got our Tineco. I like the idea of washing the mop on the go, but roller mop do have smaller area of contact compared to spinning mops. My plan is to run roller mop first, and then let spinning mop finish up. Eufy also seems to be the second most reliable brand. The handheld cleaner looks like a clever idea too. After using them for a week, here are my observations: ## App - Saros 10R: - Has video call function which is very nice to have when we are out of town. We used to drive our S7 around spying on the cats. - Has a lot more vacuuming/mopping options to customize. - Although most reddit posts claim Roborock app in the US does not have ordered room clean, I found that when I create a routine and select rooms to clean in a task, it will clean the rooms in the order I selected. - However, Saros 10R sometimes cleans a random room twice with the same pattern (with lines almost overlapping the first pass, not the cross pattern) even when the task only asks for once. My routine is usually designed to be within the full charge of 10R, so I really don't want it to randomly vacuums a room twice, wasting time to charge and water to wash mop. - There is no way to switch unit from square meter to square foot, S8+ and S7 both have this option - Eufy e28: - It takes a very long time for eufy e28 to load map in the app, up to 10 seconds in some cases. - Some users said Eufy app has a lot of ads, it occasionally tries to sell me more Eufy stuff, but I'm okay with it. ## Navigation - Saros 10R: - Vacuums and mops ~1000 sq ft in 160 minutes (does not include charge time), with standard path (fast path does not seem to do edges). - Get under the couch, bed, dining tables, aquarium stand. - Eufy e28: - Vacuums and mops ~1000 sq ft in an hour, with a combo of fast and deep intensity. - Has to mop the very long hallway in a zig zag pattern. No way to make it go the direction of the longer length of the room. - Refuse to get under the bed or couch even though it fits. Has trouble fitting in between some chair legs. ## Mop - Saros 10R: - Love the extendable right mop. It goes very close to the edge. - Eufy e28: - Drips dirty water sometimes due to onboard dirty water tank design, which is a known issue. Redditers said Eufy will send out redesigned dirty water tank soon. - Dirty water from both robots looks equally dirty when I dump them. Although e28 produces significantly less dirty water than 10R (my rountine has a combo of high and medim water usage), which makes me wonder how much better the roller mop is, if not washed enough. ## Vacuum - Saros 10R: - Might vacuum a little bit better? Not entirely sure... We don't need really strong vacuuming performance as we don't have too much carpet. - Runs much quieter, my kid is okay with 10R's running noise. - Eufy e28: - Vacuums poorly on carpet, sometimes does not pick up hair literally floating on the rug. - Noisier than 10R, my kid thinks it's annoying. ## Dock - Saros 10R: - Uses a lot of water on smart mop wash setting, changed to low water and it fills 1/5 of the dirty water tank after 6 mop washes that covered the 1k sq ft. Mop wash set to every 25 mins (max). I wish there is an even longer setting. - Mop is dry after 2 hour drying session. - Eufy e28: - Like mentioned before, there is very little dirty water produced by e28. It also washes its mop at the dock sometimes. - I haven't tried the handheld cleaner yet, but it's bigger than I imagined. The cleaner and the dock share a power cable, and to use the cleaner, I have to unplug the dock. - Mop is dry after the shortest drying session. ## Maintenance - Saros 10R: - No hair tangle after a week on duo brush or side brush. - Dumped dirty water twice. - Eufy e28: - No hair tangle on duo brush, some hair tangle on side brush, there is a tiny little wheel on the onboard dirty water tank. It has cat hair wrapped all around it, not sure how to pry it out and clean. - Onboard dirty water tank needs to be cleaned at least once a week, as it's not a closed/sealed design (like the dirty water tank in dock) and will smell very bad. The water leaking is also due to the not closed design. - Overall e28 definitely needs more maintenance. Both robots look nicely built. The only thing about the hardware that I don't like is that when docked, both robots' cameras are facing out (unlike S7 with camera facing inside the dock), which adds some privacy concern. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I haven't had a chance to try the obstacle avoidance yet, as my cat hasn't had any accident. We always clean up the entire house before we leave and let the robots do their work, so not sure about cables/toys either. Will update when I have more findings!

r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →I would say Eufy does a decent job faster. I didn't do very controlled testing, but the roller mop does have its advantage of being washed real time when cleaning. Vacuuming is slightly worse than 10R. If we want a quick run of the entire house while we are out for a walk, we really don't want to come back to the house an hour later to find only half of the house cleaned. I know 10R is going to be slower than our old S7, but didn't expect it to be almost twice as slow.

r/RobotVacuums • View on Reddit →Honestly, i wouldn't buy either of these, I didn't love them, BUT....

They rival models double their price. They are very strong at mopping, great obstacle avoidance and have fixed their water tank which left drops before. I don’t care what all the reviewers say online, the roller mop style is far superior to spinning pads. Eufy for some reason do not get great scores on vacuum wars but I stopped going to him for advice as he rates on ridiculous criteria. Eufy will get your floors as clean as mopping yourself. If you want, wait for the S2 Pro to come out in the new year, but it will cost likely twice as much as the e25. Keep in mind the e28 is super useful for the spot cleaner, but is much louder at emptying due to the design. Good luck Edit: I’ve used narwal and ecovacs and have been sorely disappointed. Good on paper but not in real life testing. They get stuck a lot and never make it back home
