Eufy - L60 with Self-Empty Station

I have a Eufy L60. The hair cutting and self emptying system is key, and you can use cheaper bags off amazon with no issues. I run it 3 times a day.

I just got the Eufy L60 and I’m extremely disappointed. It gives me a roller brush error approximately 5 minutes into every scheduled clean. It’s saying there is hair or debris, I open up the brush and there is very minimal hair. Luckily I’m able to resume the cleaning unlike my old roomba. But might be trying a new vacuum soon

Unfortunately it's all in the market pressures, certain sets of requirements or categories of robots have been totally eliminated. For example it's really hard to find much choice of robot mops, everybody has switched to making combination all-in-one robots which are much more expensive. It can be really frustrating. What I will say, avoid models with AI obstacle avoidance camera systems mounted on the front bumper. This should help limit privacy concerns. A lidar sensor can give a basic layout of your house and furniture placement but it can't really see details, it's basically a 2-D image. Edit: obviously all images are 2-D lol. What I meant is, it's only seeing your house through a really thin laser beam shining out from the top "turret". This means it can see shapes on that line of sight and nothing else, basically it doesn't steer that laser up or down. It can't see details of people, pets, objects not at floor level etc. It'll see four furniture legs, with no way to tell if it's a sofa or a dining table. Obviously having a literal camera is a totally different story there. And luckily a lot of the more basic options lack cameras (for now anyway). Models like the eufy L60 or Roborock Q5 might be ones to look at.

I have a eufy that self-empties. Worth every penny.

I have two long-haired cats and a golden retriever, my house used to be a disaster. I'm so glad I found the L60.

No mopping, $300, cuts the hair out of the brush, has an emptying station. App is easy to use. I have a schedule for 11a and 11 p and I’ve noticed much less dog/cat hair

I have this and can confirm the hair slicer does literally NOTHING.

We have Euphy. I would do another brand, I’ve had to exchange it 3 times in one year and once the warranty ended I barely use it because it’s noisy.

I have the eufy l60 ses. It has a brush cutter on the docking station. It leaves. A small amount on there but the brush is pretty clear. I have a wife and daughter and also 2 long haired boarder collies..... This is a £320 vac and my carpet has never looked cleaner.

Had my Saros 10 for a couple of days, seems to work well on my low pile carpet. Obviously never had a S8 before. I see people mention S10 is not great on carpet due to the hair detangling brush design, but personally I am loving this brush. My wife’s hair is quite fine and long but it’s doing a fantastic job reducing the amount of maintenance I need to do for the rollers. My S7 MaxV and Eufy L60 required me removing hair from the roller at least every few days. One thing I must mention is Roborock is not putting enough resource in providing updates for Saros 10. Their focus seems to be on the 10R.

I went with Eufy L60 SES it has strong suction, lidar, front camera and the base station slices pet hair off the roller and empties into the station. I didn't get it because it was teh cheapest but it is the cheapest with all of these features. I refuse to get one with a mop because the wet robot and water tank attract bugs. If you live up north maybe that isnt an issue but down south it is a huge issue.

I’ll second the Eufy L60 SES.  I bought one, run it every day and it’s takes 30 mins to run around my 55m2 ground floor.  Perfectly clean engineered wood floors, great tech, never gets stuck.  Absolute bargain and pays for itself with time saved / cleaner fees within 2 months. 

Got a eufy with a self empty charging tower for right around 350 a few years back on a black friday sale. The thing works great! I have a st bernard, so there's LOTS of hair. Pro tip dog hair plus water on the floor will lead to build up in the self empty chamber that makes your vaccum think the bag is full. Just clean it once every three months or so, and you are golden

Id recommend the Eufy L60. Bought our one from Noel Leeming for around $600 half a year ago. Does a great job. It will empty itself after vacuuming. It has pretty much completely replaced our vacuum cleaner. The only downside is that the floor needs to be clutter free. It will try eat up any cables socks etc. Takes about 45 minutes to do our 2 bedroom townhouse with a large lounge. Quite easy to maintain and repair too. Batteries, roller brushes, wheels etc can all be replaced DIY. A bit expensive but totally worth it for us. I've heard a lot of negative feedback about cheap models.

I have 2 long haired border collies. And use the eufy l60 ses And have to say still love it after 7 months. Just remove any cables or things on the floor and it's great for pets.

The suction power of the L60 SES is strong enough to pick up anything. Don’t be fooled by other marketing terms, having thousands of Pa of suction is just a gimmick. Regularly clean the filter, dustbin, and roller brush, the L60 won’t disappoint you.

I live in a hard floor home. Eufy has a lil guy that has done us well for a month or so. Floof does clog the bristles but not nearly as much as I anticipated. The pet edition cuts and clears the brush each time it empties. When that isn't enough, there is a built in tiny tool that helps get the last bits of stubborn floof from the roller. The parts that come off to clean it further are really easy to work with, and the only issue I have had has been keeping up with the tiny tool when it's needed. They claimed the collection bag will last for 2 months. I scoffed, and bought extras immediately. But here we are in a month and some change of use, and the same bag, still picking up stuff. Like you this isn't the end all be all floor cleaning, just for in-between. I have carpal tunnel issues and a few other nerve problems that make my hands totally hate me some days. Pretty good. I still run the regular vacuum every so often to do a deeper clean and to get under the spots the robot can’t.

I'll second this, the Eufy L60 works great in our house. I'd probably go for the non mop version though and save some money.

You can get something like the Eufy L60 SES for about €250 (ses is the self cleaning station which I think is well worth it). The app is handy, you can clean individual rooms etc., and it's kind of cute to follow it moving around your house. We think they are the bees knees - nearly cried with happiness they first time we got one. You'll have to clear the floor to let it move around, but in many ways it forces you to stay relatively tidy. And you'll still need another vacuum to get into corners etc.

Terrible surprise for the mouse if it wasn’t!! I have a Eufy L60 - cheap and not even a self empty but my goodness it does well - absolutely love it! 

I have the L60 SES too, and have a dog. We’ve had it for a few weeks and it works well. Pickup up the dog hairs and strings from the rope toys she destroys

It cleans well, the suction seems adequate. We have mostly hard surfaces but some area rugs where we notice the hair. I’m sure a regular vacuum would clean a bit deeper but the L60 noticeably cleans everything. What gets left behind is usually some pieces of string from rope toys. My wife’s hair also gets picked up, and gets cleaned from the roller.

Eufy L60 is decent. No cameras. It's obstacle avoidance isn't great. Everything else is nice.

Ive had the eufy l60 which is under $300 I believe and we love it. Its great with pet hair and have no complaints. Granted we have had it for only a couple months

We got an Eufy L60 SES for our mostly hardwood floor home and it seems to work just fine. Was $300. We have lots of tables and chairs and things with legs. Yeah, it takes a long while but never gets stuck.

I think hair length really matters. I have the same hoover and a few people here have long hair, I get maybe 1.5 runs before it gets tangled. It's not really worth using the robovac in my case. In the time I spend cutting hair out of the moving parts I could just have used a regular hoover.

I have the EUFY L60 and it’s pretty great for the price but I can’t really see it avoiding puke. I think you’d need a really expensive one and even one of those would probably miss puke/puddles. I usually pre-clean tidy up before running it. Picks up a lot of cat hair as I have two.

I have two long-haired cats and a Golden Retriever, so I completely understand what you mean by no tomorrow. I went with Eufy L60 SES. It has a blade that cuts through the hair tangled around the brush, which is the most effective way to prevent hair from tangling and clogging IMO. The SES is definitely a game-changer. Highly recommend it.

not really high end, but i recently purchased the eufy l60 ses and i am extremely happy. it does the entire 1000+ sqft apt in one run, has not needed a bag change yet in a month running it 3-4x a week, the map is full, even including areas it cant get to due to steps, and the hair cutting feature on the dock means i havent had to get in there and chop out all the cat hair or long hair from 2x long haired humans.

Seems like a problem with the vacuum/auto empty vs expecting too much. We have 1 dog who sheds like crazy and a toddler and a Eufy S1 Pro that runs upstairs nearly daily (since it's mostly hardwood) and a Eufy L60 with the self empty station that runs downstairs (which is mostly carpet) nearly daily and I don't see an issue like this and it keeps the house overall in great shape. I've been really impressed with how the L60 performs overall and keeps the hair tangle at bay. As others have suggested I'd contact the company because this seems defective to me. What you're describing sounds like exactly what these robot vacuums are for!

Shoulda just got one. Wife & I got a Eufy L60 renewed with self emptying station and the Asurian 2 year warranty extra add on. First day and the “roller brush stuck” issue happened twice. I emailed Eufy already but I’m not concerned since I have Amazon return policy right now and the extra coverage for 2 years.

Eufy L60 SES has a hair slicer on its base that cuts and cleans pet hair off the roller. I wont do a mopping robot because I feel the tanks and wet parts attract bugs.

We have the L60 SES and have a lab/husky mix, so she has short hair but after using it for a few weeks I looked at the roller yesterday and there was almost no hair wrapped around it (there was some but it didn’t clean the brush after the last clean).

The fact that it cuts the hair off its roller by itself is amazing to me. I've checked before and after a normal clean it's absolutely chock full of hair, that's how much we have
