I just got myself the Hyperboom and it's awesome !
r/BuyItForLife • Bluetooth speaker recommendations ->It's a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it imo if like me you like to party outdoor quite often ! ??
r/BuyItForLife • Bluetooth speaker recommendations ->I tried several models during my search - Bose SL Flex (1 Gen), UE Hyperboom 4 and B&O Explore. The Bose by far sounded the best (out of the box - there’s no EQ) then the others (with EQ). I believe the 1st Gen can get a bit lower bass than Gen 2. If you can get a refurbished gen 1 direct from Bose it’s a pretty good price! If you get a pair I’m sure it will sound even better. I enjoy EDM and beats that have a bit more thump. Obviously the low, lows won’t produce in this size of speaker but the mid thumps are definitely there. For the size, the Bose (IMO) is the best sounding.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need a Bluetooth speaker that sounds good at low volumes—any recs? ->UE Hyperboom is very nice. But you do need to think about the fact that the bigger a speaker gets, the easier it is to achieve better sound, at least in the bass department.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I wonder why Ultimate Ears struggles to perform as well as JBL ->Also got this. It's good and not to big, so pretty easy to carry around ??
r/EDM • Help me find portable speakers that have good volume and everything? ->If you want bass then go for it. I love mine but for actually listening I love my hyperboom I can full volume and it will still sound clear without losing any bass at all. And the 2024 hyperboom now comes with updated ports so USB C charging and phone charger. Can’t go wrong with a hyperboom tbh
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Jbl boom box 3 worth the price? ->I own a UE Hyperboom and have heard the JBL Boombox. I think the Hyperboom sounds nicer, that's why I got it. The Boombox has more bass and is probably a bit louder. JBL makes an even bigger one with wheels which is nice for parties with friends but again not as nice sounding as the Hyperboom. Downsides of the Hyperboom is, the handle is a bit awkward so carrying it around is not as nice as the Boombox, also on mine there is no USB charging you have to use the wall charger, another charger to carry, can't use power banks unless they are bigger ones with AC outlets. It's all about how you plan to use them, for my needs I really am happy with the Hyperboom, but I have gobs of sound gear just for parties too. The hyper boom is for hanging out, vacation houses etc. If small portable parties are your interest take a look at Electrovoice battery powered speakers.
r/PioneerDJ • Best portable speaker for Omnis Duo under €400? ->No noticeable latency when we were djing on my friends JBL (she has a partybox) with an aux cable. Same with Hyperboom. I looked up the specs and these two speakers are very similar.. the Internet seems to agree with me that the Hyperboom is a better sounding speaker and loud for its size, the Boombox people say it has more bass but the graphs show that they are about the same... The advantage of the Boombox is that it's waterproof, has a built in charger and that the handle is better placed for carrying (the Hyper boom is easily carried in one hand just a bit awkward). It's all about what you care about.. better portability and more rugged (waterproof) with the Boombox or more hifi sound with the Hyperboom. I went with the Hyperboom because I care more about sound and how I use it I am not worried about water too much (I bring out smaller speakers for the beach and such). It is really hard to decide I know...
r/PioneerDJ • Best portable speaker for Omnis Duo under €400? ->lol nice I have Hyperboom also and it’s pretty great

The JBL Boombox 3 and Ultimate Ears Hyperboom are both great choices for deep bass! The Boombox 3 is rugged, waterproof, and built for outdoor use, while the Hyperboom is great for multi-device pairing and party settings
r/BestBluetoothSpeaker • Best Large Bluetooth Speaker ->The Ultimate Ears Hyperboom gets louder overall, especially for indoor use, while the JBL Boombox 3 delivers a more powerful bass outdoors. If you want a balance of volume and deep bass, Boombox 3 is the way to go!
r/BestBluetoothSpeaker • Best Large Bluetooth Speaker ->UE HYPERBOOM. it's resistant and weatherproof but doesn't have that rugged outdoors look. The levels are perfectly balanced and it has an optical inputtoo. I've had one for a little more than 2 years, just got my 2 one. I love it, check it out.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for living room use ->My two old UE Hyperboom does that easily. You might find one second hand? I upgraded mine using two velcroed WiiM Mini connected to the optical input. So now they are wifi multiroom streamers. Works great!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →For the price, if there is a better BT speaker than the UE Hyperboom I have not seen it.

r/PioneerDJ • View on Reddit →I am very, very happy with my B&O A5. Can be stereo paired, but I only have one... [https://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/int/speakers/beosound-a5](https://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/int/speakers/beosound-a5) I also have a pair of UE Hyperboom modernized with one WiiM Mini each for portable multiroom wifi streaming in stereo. Great!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I'll comment on what I have. I have a UE Boom, Sony SRS-XB41, UE Hyperboom and Samsung ST90B. They all have their place, and the reasons I bought them, but... Out of all these the Hyperboom is easily the best speaker for all occasions. It's loud, crystal clear and has amazing bass. The Samsung is bigger, but anything over 3/4 vol and it majorly distorted.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Have had and upgraded since the original boom around 2014. The hyperboom has awesome clarity and bass for its price.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Honestly the Ultimate Ears speakers are awesome imo.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have two UE Hyperboom. They run up to 24 hours on battery and play loud. Charge in less than 3 hours. Great for large rooms and outdoors. Placed near a corner or wall they are even louder. Expensive. But I really think you should invest in active ear protection with Bluetooth instead. I have had good experience with 3M Peltor. Very convenient and easy to talk and hear other people talk. Like ANC on steroids. Also expensive, but worth it.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Absolutely, but it's more than just the bass. Hyperboom has all those really nice options I mentioned, remote turn on, easy pairing with more speakers, as well as headphone jack in, optical output out and other features that most other speakers don't have.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Problem is - size matters, in terms of bass. UE Hyperboom has excellent bass, but is large. UE megaboom is smaller, still great bass for the size. Had the Megaboom for years, excellent pick, but still a bit heavy for holiday. I recently got the JBL flip 7 and can recommend it as a lightweight portable option. (*Edit, JBL flip, not charge)
r/EDM • View on Reddit →I would use 1 ue hyperboom instead
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →It's kind of overkill in terms of size and overall practicality, but as someone who's owned dozens and dozens of different Bluetooth speakers over the years and has invested way too much on various HIFi setups at home, nothing comes close to the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom in terms of Bluetooth speakers. It honestly has sound quality that's on a par with a lot of decent mid-range priced floor standers, bass you can actually hear, and liquid crystal clear vocals. Might be a bit large for your application, but I take mine everywhere especially when travelling, camping, or heading to an outdoor party. Note that the lower end and mid end UE Bluetooth speakers don't even come close to the SQ of this thing, so I'd say don't bother on their smaller models as they really don't bring anything unique to the table that you can't already get from brands like soundcore, Anker or JBL. And as much as I will recommend those 3 brands for their cheaper but larger format boombox type Bluetooth speakers, especially for those on a budget, the SQ of their big boy offerings while decent are not even in the same league as the Hyperboom.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Hyperboom has a wider spread sound, so is best for bbq (unless its rainy) Sony ult 7 has best bass and is flexible in the way you put it and you get better stereo separation for intense listening or and its better as a tv speaker
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →For the small portable my affections are always with Bose. Some of my favorite speakers for sound stage, portability, and loud reaching well made BT speakers in super portable, easy to handle packages. I have three of their BT speakers and they really perform. As I get less portable, I stumbled into one not on your list — Logitech’s Ultimate Ears brand — which has some smaller BT speakers as well. They’re really well made and they double down on putting resources into the simple features I care about most (sync, app, weatherproofing etc).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I hate saying this but a few years ago I AB’d a good chunk of their line and the only one I kept was the Hyperboom which I maintain is one of the best BT speakers you can buy and gets very close to what most would consider hifi (even though it very much is not). UE has a really neutral sound and while that’s cool for reference listening I don’t really think I know anybody who is spinning FLAC masters from Tidal in their garage. The Hyperboom reaches a bit lower and the assembly does a good job with imaging from a single speaker so that’s admirable, and it does get louder than most JBL offerings (until you hit a price point) but honestly it’s an answer to a question that while has been asked, has a more effective answer.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →You dont know what youre talking about
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Ultimate ears Hyperboom, perfect sound clarity, deep bass, proper stereo sound in one speaker low latency if you use aux to dj. I know a lot of psytrance and techno djs and producents and everyone on them was blown away with sound quality.
r/psytrance • View on Reddit →Some UE like the hyperboom will automatically adjust to the room it's in. The hyperboom is excellent. I haven't heard any JBL that's better. The thing UE has are some really nice features, especially dune remotely using the app. The UE are easy to link 100 speakers with the app, remote turn on or off, and a really easy to use app. The smaller UE I am less impressed with. Mega boom series, I have the 3, doesn't sound as good as other brands, but they are convenient and durable. I wish that the soundcore speakers had remote turn on. But even bigger is the party up mode on UE that's so easy to link through the app. The soundcore app doesn't have linking on it, you have to do it via the buttons on the speakers. It's not always the same buttons and combination of buttons to link them depending on the series. I have a boom 2 and a boom 3i and a buddy has a boom 2+. The boom2 and 2+ link the same way, but the 3i party ups differently. It's a bit maddening actually. If you have the app, which you should have a phone that's playing the BT music, it should be on the app as easy as UE's system. It's nice to have buttons on the speakers to link them though.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →lol nice I have Hyperboom also and it’s pretty great
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I have a ue hyperboom and love it. It has an enormous battery and runs for ages. Heaps of Usb power for synths and aux in for audio.
r/synthesizers • View on Reddit →BT speakers I can recommend personally: B&O A1 g2 or g3. Small. A pair for stereo. Nice for ambience. B&O A5. Expensive. Great sound and pretty. Hyperboom. A pair for off-grid partying.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Thanks for those clarifications. In that case, I've got 3 suggestions for you. First, the JBL Boombox 3. Great all-around speaker, sounds good, well-suited to the outdoors, and easy to carry with one hand. This will give you the least hassle when it comes to transportation, and it's very sturdy for outdoor use, with high dust and water resistance. Others have suggested the UE Hyperboom, and I personally think that's a great-sounding speaker, but it doesn't have a dust-resistance rating, which might be an issue when taking it to the beach. If you need a bit more oomph, both in terms of loudness and bass impact, then consider either the JBL PartyBox 310 or the JBL PartyBox Stage 320. TBH, these perform similarly enough that you can just get whichever is cheaper. But both these weigh a little over 35 lbs, compared to the 15 lbs the JBL Boombox 3 weighs. And they're not quite as well-rated for water resistance, and neither is rated for dust-resistance, which might be important if you're going to the beach.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →My two UE Hyperboom, upgraded to WiFi multiroom streaming speakers using two WiiM Mini. My two B&O A1 Gen 2 are also nice, but not for very loud music.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I have two UE Hyperboom, and it is great. Especially outdoors. The Hyperboom is rugged so you can hide the Hyperboom under bushes. People tend to be confused when they hear full nice bass-rich stereo, but can see no speakers or cables. It is especially effective (and confusing) in bushes near a hard brick/cement wall, reflecting/projecting full sound out over a wide area with a very wide stereo image. It doesn't even need to be very loud to sound great, but it certainly can be. Indoors, between outdoors parties, I use my Hyperboom as WiFi multiroom streaming speakers. I got a WiiM Mini to each, attach using velcro tape, power it from the Hyperboom USB port and connect the WiiM Mini via the optical connection, so it is still fully battery powered and portable, if I disconnect the charger. The sound is great. Better than Bluetooth. I use this in combination with some older AudioPro multiroom speakers that are compatible with WiiM. Works great! Unfortunately new AudioPro multiroom "W" speakers may not be compatible with WiiM. I haven't tested with any "W" AudioPro speaker, just with the new app.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →B&O A1 is way better than UE Miniroll. I have two A1 Gen 2, they are great for portable audio as long as you don't need very loud sound and can keep them close. Perfect for smaller settings. My favorite speaker for audiobooks, by far. I gave my Miniroll away... For louder volumes and larger settings my B&O A5 is amazing. Portable but a bit bulky. Still very nice to use in the garden/patio/porch or on a picnic. Expensive... For larger prepared outdoor settings / parties my two UE Hyperboom are great! But even more bulky than the A5. Even if they are getting old, they are hard to beat. I think that there is a very strong correlation between size and sound quality at higher volumes or larger settings. If you want something that is loud and also sounds good over a larger area you need to go big. If you want nice stereo you need two speakers that are about as far between each other as from you. Two speakers also helps to cover a larger area.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →UE Hyperboom Got it since a couple of years, big headroom and long lasting battery span
r/EDM • View on Reddit →Bigger speakers spread sound more consistently, and this one has 2 directions of output with 90 degrees angle
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I highly recommend NOT to get the minirigs. I got a bundle with 2 subs and 4 tops myself for the same purpose and was highly disappointed. Have a look at the hyperboom. You can link them up. 4 should suffice. The sound quality is rather decent with a nice base, especially for them being so portable and modular.
r/DJs • View on Reddit →I bought my hyperboom when they first came out. It's been great. I use it a lot. It's just portable enough to put in the boat and set it on my boat for tie outs. But, when I needed a small portable speaker to take on a plane to Mexico for my birthday this past March, it had to sound good, be small and light. The soundcore boom2 fit my needs. The light show was another great feature, especially for parties/ entertainment. Then I got a boom 3i in a beta test for free and I use that speaker quite a bit as it's very small for what it can do. When a lake friend was about to buy a bigger "party up" able speaker, I recommended the soundcore boom2 plus. He always wanted a hyperboom, and had a smaller boom UE speaker and I would pair it with others to my hyperboom. Now we're all going soundcore. The IP67 and floating part are great on a lake.
