I only have the tribit blast and that thing is amazing. I am shocked at how loud it gets and sounds so great

I have the Stormbox Blast and Micro 2. Good enough for me.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Are Tribit speakers actually worth it compared to bigger brands ->Tribit blast is easily and i mean easily the best speaker of the 4 ya listed
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for advise on which speaker to buy ->Here's the thing . You could get the og tribit blast for anywhere from 140 to 170 and smoke this and everything else .... or spend tad more or wait for a killer sale and get the wking x20 which smokes literally everything including the hb3 ... oh did he say x20 better than bb3 ?? F yes I did and the thing charges with type c up to 60 watts so ya can charge it on the go.. . Crazy how the x20 is still kickin ass over almost everything and its been out for lil over a year
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Uboomx is not a Unicorn ->Alan Ross's pound for pound best speaker. Bit heavy but for its price betters a jbl extreme, even competes with boomboxes.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Speaker for Car Use in 2024? ($200US or less) ->2 tribit stormbox blasts still piss on soundcore speakers, under £300. Loudness and decent sound ,don't always mix as most speakers drop highs and lows in high volumes.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What’s the loudest speaker, with the best sound, that I can easily take on an airplane? Under $300 please. ->Two of these are the way to go. Although I’d say two Tribit storm box blast is better for bass. I have one already, hopefully I will get another one day.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's your favorite bass monster with decent sound quality under $150? ->I agree, The Tribit Stormbox Blast 1, is super solid sounding right out of the box!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest portable speakers under $150 ->Depends on the speaker. Some of the delay is caused by Bluetooth, and some by the DSP (signal processing) - aux will bypass the Bluetooth, but not necessarily the DSP. Some speakers have minimal-to-zero lag on the aux (Minirig, Tribit Stormbox Blast) and some still have significant. For example I believe some of the JBL PartyBoxes have lag on the aux in but not on the daisychain as that bypasses the DSP :)
r/Beatmatch • Best portable speakers? ->This is something I have looked into and the options are not great if you need something that can get loud For portability I think Bluetooth speakers make the most sense. That said you don't get much for $80. Anker makes some solid options that perform well on a budget. I own an Anker Soundcore Motion+, speaker which costs $80. For a small portable speaker it sounds great for background music. The downside is it's pretty small so is limited on how loud it gets. It works well for a BBQ or hanging out with friends but it's not exactly the best option if you want to crank it I also own a Tribit StormBox Blast. Which is a good amount more powerful and can get quite a bit louder than the Motion+. It also costs a lot more $200 (though I got it for $160 on sale) That said, I think at lower volumes the Motion+ sounds much better to me and is much cheaper and I use it way more than the Tribit. It's fine for hanging out and turning the music up but it's not audiophile and it wouldn't be my choice for a backyard rave. Somewhere between the two is the Anker Soundcore Boom 2. It's not rated as high as the StormBox but for much less ($120) you'll get something that's almost as loud. Other options are just getting a cheap class D amp and used bookshelf speakers. You'll get much better sound quality and loudness but you'll need to increase your budget a bit and it's not the most portable option. If you want something that has the power for a party here is a list of good party speakers but as you'll see these are way above your budget. https://www.rtings.com/speaker/reviews/best/parties
r/BudgetAudiophile • What are the best Hi-Fi portable speakers? ->I feel it. With that budget, I'd go with the UBOOM X. I was one of those people that would talk shit about it because I saw so many people hyping it up, but I gave it a chance and it is well worth the money I paid for ($103). But even on prime you can snag it for around $120 which is still a good deal. If you do go this route, make sure you put UBOOMXXX in the discount code thing in Amazon. It should bring it down to that price. Just helping a fellow Redditor out. I also heard they're discontinuing the UBOOM X. $15 bucks more you can get the Tribit Stormbox Blast which, in my opinion, is an awesome speaker. The choice is yours.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest portable speakers under $150 ->Yuup! The only downside is you have to rely on the app and Oluvs EQs.. say you’re at a gathering or something- not everyone is gonna have the app. At least with the Blast you don’t have to rely on different EQs.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest portable speakers under $150 ->Tribit StormBox Blast is my pick. Set it in a corner and you’ll feel that bass. I know so because I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it so far. ????
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's your favorite bass monster with decent sound quality under $150? ->Stormbox blast 2 that I have has very good bass.. it's under your price point.. can't really suggest anything else because besides a jbl extreme 2 that's all I have... the jbl has no bass compared to the stormbox.. again it's a extreme 2.. not 4.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I agree with the other replies that two speakers are better than one. It depends on how big you are willing to carry around. My favorite that I've settled on is the Soundcore Boom 2. Although it is slightly larger than my idea size for a portable speaker, the handle makes it easy to move around. In my opinion it is just about the perfect balance of size, clarity, and bass for a portable speaker. It has great sound and great bass (even outside). It just won't fit in a small spot. For a smaller speaker, I would recommend the Earfun Uboom L or the Soundcore Motion 300 or the Bose Soundlink Flex. Again, a pair of these in stereo will get the best most room filling sound. All of these are small and easy to carry and easy to place anywhere. If you just want one speaker, I would recommend the Tribit Stormbox Blast or the Earfun Uboom X. They both sound great, with full sound, clarity, and deep bass. But they are huge! Probably not easily carried from room to room, but that that is your decision to make. The Soundcore Boom 2 would be good as a single speaker too, with a smaller size, but it won't sound quite as good as these other two.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I am not ever going to put a 25lb Partybox 120 in a backpack! Hauling around a 12 lb Tribit Blast was bad enough. The 35lb Soundbox is lightweight for a battery powered PA speaker but only needed for really noisy outdoor events & big parties . Overkill for most IMO. The 5lb Motion Boom Plus had a good power to weigh ratio. (Half the weight of a Earfun UboomX).
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →If the JBL Partybox 110/120 is too expensive, go for 2 or more UBoom X. You can pair them up, but be aware that party or tws mode will drain the battery faster (as is the case with all speakers). The Stormbox is nowhere loud enough. Strombox Blast would also work, but needs a bigger charger.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Currently, I'm not using any of the portable ones, since I've not being going anywhere. At home I have speakers in every room. But my favorites would be the Tribit Stormbox Blast and Stormbox Micro 2
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Look up the Boominator for a DIY festival speaker project. Roskild has boominator camps where people hook them up together and cook everyone's ear drums. Car batteries are freaking heavy. Lithium is better. A pair of good BT party speakers like the Stormbox Blast can put out a decent amount of bass for the size and will be useful for more than just "festival" camping. The 12v forum at [speakerplans.com](http://speakerplans.com) has lots of wagon systems and other battery powered rigs to get ideas from.
r/SoundSystem • View on Reddit →Micro(2), Blast(2) and Lava are great. XSound Plus (2) and Stormbox(2) alright, but there are better speakers in that size imo. Stormbox Mini(2) just blows.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I know this post is from a while ago, but I wanted to chime in just in case you're still looking for recommendations. The **Tribit Stormblast** you were leaning toward is definitely a solid choice for bass-heavy genres like dubstep, trap, and drum and bass. It’s got great bass for the price and is waterproof, which makes it perfect for beach trips or tubing. However, if you're still in the market for a new waterproof Bluetooth speaker, these options might catch your interest: 1. **JBL Charge 5** – If you liked the Charge 4, the Charge 5 is even better. It has improved bass and sound quality, plus it's still waterproof (IP67), so it's great for outdoor adventures. 2. **Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3** – It’s been getting a lot of praise for its 360-degree sound and strong bass, making it a great choice for bass-heavy music. Plus, it’s still fully waterproof (IP67) and rugged. 3. **Anker Soundcore Motion+** – This one’s still a strong budget option with impressive bass and waterproofing (IPX7). It gives you great sound for its price range. If you haven't already made a decision, I actually wrote a blog post on the best waterproof Bluetooth speakers that includes various options for different needs, including the bass-heavy sound you're looking for. Feel free to check it out for more info! \[[https://voyedy.com/best-waterproof-bluetooth-speakers/](https://voyedy.com/best-waterproof-bluetooth-speakers/)\] Hope this helps, and happy listening!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →If you’re moving around a speaker I’d say go with Earfun Uboom X. I have an older Playbar with gen 3 subs and 2 Play:1’s. Also have a One in the kitchen as well as One in the bathroom. They do fine. I just have other speakers that sound just as good or even better without having connectivity issues. I run Tribit Stormbox Blast (original) and 2 Stormbox Micro 2’s. No way I’d recommend the Move 2. The era 300 especially in a pair are a great pair, but that’s just so much money for entry audiophile equipment.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →You have two hundred then it’s got to be the storm box blast.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →After going through an absurd amount of speakers that drove my girlfriend insane, I've finally landed on the JBL Boombox 4. My journey is over. Every speaker was tested both inside and outside. The [outside environment was the park next to me in the football area at different distances](https://i.imgur.com/vHKaHzD.jpeg). The[ inside was on my 80kg wooden coffee table listening to it from the kitchen](https://i.imgur.com/PNpBaC5.jpeg) (what I consider a realistic scenario basically). So [proof ](https://i.imgur.com/uRfAezu.png)of purchase for the losers, [proof](https://i.imgur.com/NBB8pGP.png) of purchase for the winner because otherwise people call me a liar or "poor because I didn't actually buy them" which is odd because a refund costs nothing? ?? It's important to note that I listen to **EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN** from Brahms to Super Mario 64 Bombomb Battlefield soundtrack. My Spotify wrapped told me I "listened to 284 genres" and, yeah. Most likely. So if your thing is a specific genre, then obviously my parkour and tastes will be different than yours. I also never tried W-King or Zealot. W-King Boombox felt a bit too heavy to bring on trips (7.2kg) and Zealot... honestly it looks fine but I just didn't bother as it felt like a middle-of-the-road brand. Marshalls look like they only produce speakers that blast forward too which is not a good use case for me. Here's my trip through speaker purgatory: **The Rejects:** **Bose SoundLink Max** – The overwhelming bass can be tamed with EQ and it's honestly a very pleasant portable speaker but the parasitic battery drain is unforgivable. Watching a speaker bleed power while sitting idle is infuriating. I was losing 20% every 4-5 days and it seems to be a common thing. Dealbreaker. I recall seeing some men in the forums say the handle is emasculating. Unsure what this is about, it's a fine comfortable handle but maybe I don't have the fragility of a teenage boy. **Tribit Stormbox Blast 2** – I was genuinely excited for this one. Seriously you can see it through my post history and damn was I happy to test it when I got it. More "fun" sounding than its predecessor, better bass, improved light show. But here's the thing: it only sounds acceptable on bassy genres (EDM, trap, dubstep). Anything else like rock, acoustic or classical sounds like hot garbage. If you listen to varied genres, hard pass. Also the X-3D mode is awful. Unusable. I also did not read the weight before ordering and that was kind of a surprise. Coming in at over 7kg it's a bit meh to lug around in the outdoors. I was extremely bummed out by what they did to the sound. **Sony ULT Field 7** – This one hurt. I bought it *twice* because it sounds phenomenal indoors. Beautiful, full sound. But outdoors? The sound disperses way too aggressively. For a speaker this size and price, I need it to perform outside. Couldn't justify it. Also the app was absurdly bad. It actually ticked me off using it. **EarFun UBoom X** – Massively overhyped. I don't know what copium the UBoom evangelists are huffing but this thing punches exactly at its price tag. No more, no less. Oluv's magic EQs didn't change that for me. Hope he got a fat paycheck from EarFun for that bribe. "Sounds just like JBL Boombox 3" my ass. **Soundcore Boom 2 Plus** – Actually really impressive. Punches above its price for sound quality and the build quality/design is *exceptional*. It looks like plastic and it is but it's the kind of plastic that survives a hand grenade. The strap is dead silent, fast USB-C charging means I can top it up with a the same powerbank as I have for my phone, it floats speaker-side up (gurgled audio but at least you're not fishing it out of the lake and you know when it falls) and the app is the best speaker app I've ever used. If I was still in my 20s on a budget, I'd have kept this. Soundcore, please make a premium boombox lineup. If it weren't for a "more budget sound than JBL/Sony" this would be N.1 easily. The amount of QoL useful stuff they packed into this speaker is astounding. **Tribit Stormbox Blast** – Decent in all aspects and priced really well. I honestly get why people like it. But it could not handle sub-bass heavy tracks. [This track at 0:45](https://youtu.be/_W3OT22EF2A?t=45) made it squeal like a pig. Returned. To be noted this happens on Blast 2 but just way less. **JBL Xtreme 4** – Perfectly fine unless you push bass past 60% volume where it kind of dies. So it was a "skip". Exceptional battery life and build quality though. I'm happy they started implementing swappable batteries here. Nice shoulder strap honestly. **Sony ULT Field 5** – Too weak. Not bassy enough for what I wanted. Very expensive compared to an Ult Field 7. **Soundcore Boom 2** – Honestly? If you want something portable that isn't a boombox, this is my recommendation. It clearly beats the Bose Max and Xtreme 4 for me. Factoring in the price, it's a no-brainer for anyone wanting something smaller. And yes the front grid looks a bit bad. But damn is this a killer package. **The Winner: JBL Boombox 4** Honestly I was nervous because of how horrendous it looked in pictures. Let's be super clear and honest here, it looks like a bad Chinese Knock Off of the JBL Boombox 3. It just does. But it looks way better in-person. I don't know how to explain it but it's completely fine outside of the realm of pictures. It's not perfect. Here are **my gripes**: * **AC plug for $600?** Seriously expected USB-C charging at this price point. Ultra disappointing. * **Latency is noticeable** if you're watching videos with wireless. Classic JBL honestly. * **No shoulder strap hooks.** The Xtreme 4 has them. The *FUCKING* *Charge 6* has them. Why would you skip this on your heaviest speaker? "WTF are you fucking stupid?"-level design choice. 3rd party straps look like ass and are often cutting massive corners in build quality. * **Losing the 3.5mm jack**. Yeah I'm not very happy about it ngl. Granted don't have many 3.5mm devices but for that price tag... Wat? * **That price tag.** Even I hesitated. Honestly if it wasn't the best speaker for me... yikes. We're approaching entry Macbook Air levels. For a bluetooth speaker. **The Warnings:** * **"Violent" sound signature.** Vocals and instruments are EXTREMELY clear while bass is **VERY** powerful and can feel a tad strong. This creates a bit of a rollercoaster listening experience that can be fatiguing. I strongly feel this is only really an issue for the Indoors. Outdoors it sounds **incredible**. The bass boost will legitimately shake sturdy furniture. Not exaggerating. It's **perfect** **for me** that likes this kind of rumbustiousness but I can definitely 100% see this as a YMMV for many. Keep the receipt and 100% test it indoors and outdoors thoroughly. **What's great:** * **Premium feel and decent look** (IN PERSON ONLY - looks ***horrible*** in pictures) despite the plastic handle (more on that below because I don't see this as a con) * **Handles dual Bluetooth connections flawlessly** \- I had issues with some speakers that say they do like massive latency or the need to reconnect * **Absolutely ridiculous power.** No one can complain about volume. Unless you just want to complain. Approaching 100% volume indoors may deafen you. * **They shaved off a full kilogram** while making it *more* powerful with *better* battery life. Genuinely impressive engineering. Big kudos. * **Replaceable battery**! Yes! Thank you! * **IP67 and floats** (kind of a requirement for me with my outdoor usage) * **Can still play lossless** with no latency through USB C About the metal handle: yeah, it's gone. But anyone complaining clearly never left their Boombox 3 in the sun. That metal handle would sear your skin in summer. Overall fuck that thing. It looked good but it was definitely only an indoors thing. Good riddance. **TL;DR:** After 10+ speakers, the Boombox 4 is my endgame. Violent, powerful sound that excels outdoors. Flawed but nothing I can't live with. The search is finally over. Side-note I did a similar thing for micro speakers where the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 was the **CLEAR** winner. Way clearer than the Boombox one. I do not have a speaker that I use size-wise between the Micro 2 and the Boombox 4. I do not bother. I either take the Micro 2 or go ham with the Boombox 4. Edit: Spelling mistakes. ?????

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I would recommend starting with an inexpensive Tribit Storm Box Blast 1 speaker. This will give you good sound with plenty of power.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I have a Tribit Stormbox Blast 1, which RTINGS measures at 96.7 dB. IMO this speaker is plenty for most outdoor activities or a small group gathering. However it is currently selling for $199 on Amazon, I got mine for $155. The Earfun Uboom X, I think is about the same max volume and is $129 on Amazon
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I’m a firm believer in dual-purpose gear, especially when traveling light. I used to carry a small Anker power bank and a speaker separately, until I got the Tribit StormBox Blast (it has a 20,000mAh battery + power-out). It won’t replace your main power bank, but it did save my phone during a bus ride in Colombia when I forgot to charge. I know JBL Charge 5 does something similar, are there other travel speakers with this kind of backup feature? Also open to other multi-use tech recs!
r/onebag • View on Reddit →Bluetooth is backwards compatible, so doesn't matter if the phone is old, it'll still work with newer bluetooth speakers. I have 2 Stormbox Blasts and they sounds really good together. But if you want to save some money, check out the Earfun Uboom X instead.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →The only thing rugged enough for a construction job is something dewalt/Milwaukee/etc.. I bought a tribit sb blast for the same purpose as you pretty much. It sounds 100x better than any tool brand speaker, but def not as durable, and I am always paranoid about it getting hit/falling over etc. Battery life is also very satisfactory, and is not as huge as others

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I have a bunch of Sonos products. But when I wanted a portable speaker I went with the Tribit Stormbox Blast (1st gen). It wasn’t really about saving money, it was just trying to find the best value to quality. Plus, this was when the Sonos app was an absolute disaster. I’m thankful that happened, otherwise I wouldn’t have such a dependable boombox.
r/sonos • View on Reddit →What speaker would you recommend to bring to a big campsite for a music festival? I brought a tribute stormbox blast before and it went down a treat. What would you recommend? I've heard soundboks are clear
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Well it is a cheap plastic speaker that looks and feels like it was put together in a poor remote Chinese factory. While the sound quality isn't bad by any means, it's really not anything impressive, so sorry not everyone is blown away this speaker. I would take my HK Onyx Studio 7, Motion Boom Plus 2,Sony XG500, or even the Stormbox Blast over this any day. The highs and mids are flat and lifeless and while the bass is without a doubt impressive, it is boomy and muddled and overpowers the music on certain tracks. It is a decent speaker at low to mid volume depending on the type of music. If you want to get upset and insult my ears, feel free, but my opinion stands. This speaker will collect dust until I find someone to pawn it off on. Maybe they will enjoy it as much as you think everyone else should.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I once compared my UboomX and Blast outdoor, At 5 meters distance, they fare against each other, for me when the blast plays at 60-80% volume and UboomX 60%-80% volume (This is the volume I would listen to when 5 meters away), the blast somehow sound smoother, sweeter, less aggressive, more boomy feeling, meanwhile the UboomX sparklier maybe sometime boxy and metallic, but all that comes to a price, you said you like the stereo and listening at side performence of UboomX, to get those advantage Oluv has to tuned it aggressively and pull the treble eq up and when you listen to it closely and stand direct infront of it, it would sometimes sound harsh and metallic. But when we talk about listening to the speakers 15 meters or 20 meters away, here is where UboomX shine, at 80%-100% volume UboomX getting louder and louder in each volume steps, it is outstanding that this speaker can be listened that far away and still have those kicking and bass, meanwhile my blast can only perform good when listen to it 5-10 meters away. For Indoor listening since we only use 60%-70% volume of the speaker and don't need the stereo imaging performence, some might just prefer the warm sweet signature of the blast, me personally still wouldn't care since the UboomX is way better in outdoor (please tell me your opinion if you not agree). BTW, in the recent patreon post of Oluv, he mentioned that all of the UboomX units he bought recently just sound different to his tunning prototype, the units tend to have 1-2 dB less than the prototype and most importantly, there are like a -5 dB in 2k-5k Hz region, which would make UboomX a lot darker that Oluv originally want it to be. I tried using PowerAMP EQ and add a QValue 3.6 , 3.5K Hz, 5dB gain peak, and the speaker sound more alive now, Oluv said that he would soon post the first correction EQ in his patreon, later on there would be a desktop EQ and a TWS EQ, 3 firmwares in total, which I am very looking forward to, and I don't mind giving credit to his work so yeah I would buy those EQ.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →A Jbl Partbox 120 would do everything you need it to. 24 lbs is not too crazy considering its size and bass output. Tribit Stormbox blast is probably enough speaker for most people. 12lbs (like the JBL Boombox) $5000 is silly $ for BT speakers unless you need a high output PA speaker like the EV Everse12 or an array of Soundboks .
