I mean for the big speakers a partybox 210 is like okay (also speakers of the same size usually sound very similar), 310 is the best for medium sized rooms and anything above is practically not needed. For the medium sized ones, a boombox 3, charge 4/5/6 are pretty good cost/sound sound variants. For the smaller/little ones it's hard to choose, since you usually can't get much bass out of them. I chose mine by the specs and knowledge. JBL has been around for years and has developed a pretty huge ecosystem of syncing tws clear sounding speakers. Although they're pretty pricey, I think most of their speakers are worth it. How to choose: Ratings/comments under product Specs (Size, wattage and speaker range. The lower it goes, the better it usually is.) Price: must not be overpriced. The less rgb the lower the price (usually (not talking about partyboxes rn))

Have the same jbl charge 5, love those speakers with the jbl app for stereo mode. Nice portable gaming setup!
r/SteamDeck • Love my SteamDeck for a portable PC setup.. no laptop needed ->I use a JBL charge in my truck and a JBL earbud when walking.
r/USPS • Bluetooth Speakers in LLV ->Until it's too hot and shuts itself off. In an ffv, the side window is possibly better
r/USPS • Bluetooth Speakers in LLV ->Cu banii aia î?i cumperi un jbl flip de black Friday acum ?i ai calitate. ?i la 150 de euro gase?ti jbl charge care deja rupe
r/Aliexpress • Best bluetooth speaker? ->I've been using the same JBL charge for probably 10 years. When/if it dies, I'll go buy another one just like it.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best quality bluetooth speaker you've ever tried? ->The JBL Charge 5 and Bose SoundLink Flex were everywhere, and from what I’ve used, they deserve it.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended portable bluetooth speakers in the past year (Mar 2025) ->I own both Dummy.. they ARE the same in loudness, bass, and even quality. Nothing has changed on the wifi exept chromecast streaming and Dolby atmos (which is bullshit). They have the same driver layout, same battery, same charging speed, and they removed partyboost.. THEY ARE THE SAME SPEAKER.
r/JBL • Disappointed with Charge 5: Portable, But Not Worth the Price ->People is saying the opposite but i had the same experience. It loses all of its bass past 70% and the overall detail and clarity is not as good as on the Charge 5, strangely, and it doesn't even sound THAT loud.
r/JBL • Xtreme3 is not that great?! ->Personally i find the x600 awful. Charge 5 comes to mind given your requirements or even soundlink max.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best portable Bluetooth speaker to Buy? ->Yeah, realistically that isn't going to happen, replacing 10 speakers with 1-3 is tough as it is, much less when those 10 speakers were designed for the space they are in and those 1-3 are jammed into an enclosure with the amp and battery in a single unit... I mean the closest you will get is a one of the big JBL Party Boxes which honestly isn't very portable at like 75 pounds and 45 inches tall, not to mention they run a grand or so. If you just want decent sound quality -AND- portability the JBL Flip, Charge, or even the Extreme series are pretty decent, but for high end quality you are going to be going well over the $500 mark... KEF, Bowers & Wilkens, Sonos, etc. And Bose... Yeah, I am not a huge fan... I would take the Infinity system in my Hyundai over it in a heartbeat for sound quality.
r/Corvette • I might be asking in the wrong sub, but can anyone recommend a good portable Bluetooth speaker as good as C7 Bose speakers ->No Charge 5's were hurt in the making of this video :)
r/JBL • View on Reddit →I wouldn't recommend any Earfun speaker to someone who isn't very tech savy. Every Earfun speaker sounds mediocre out of the box and they need EQing. I really like my UBOOM X, but I just can't recommend it to my mom. That's why my mom has a JBL Charge. Also, any of the stock (normal or OLUV's) EQs are way too focused on deep bass, which isn't the best with classical music. And it's not very portable I think, it's rather huge.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →that would be awesome, love my charge 5
r/MilwaukeeTool • View on Reddit →Interesting! Based on the result I made the right decision when buying a JBL Charge 5 for my son recently ??
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Charge 6 is brand new, but Charge 5 is practically the same but should now be ~$130 or so, definitely much better sound quality than Flip series, louder and longer battery too!
r/JBL • View on Reddit →If you want a portable speaker that's affordable and has good sound: Flip 7/charge 5 If you want a speaker that's protable and you only want good sound: boom box 3/4 Non portable that's affordable: party box 110/130 Partybox with crazy good sound: 710/1000/Ultimate

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →No speaker below 6.5 inches can produce bass below like 80 or 90 hz, charge 5 isn't a subwoofer it's for loud, and clean full range output. I own one, and love it. I boost the treble up abit and leave mid/bass flat.
r/JBL • View on Reddit →I’d go with the JBL Charge 5\*\*,\*\* great sound and waterproof super reliable for beach/picnic use. If you're open to less-hyped brands, the Tribit StormBox Pro seriously surprised me. Way cheaper and still hits hard with bass + 24hr battery. Honestly underrated.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Getting the charge 5 at Marshalls for $80 was the best. I see minimal difference on the charge 6 vs 5. Gaining 10watts isn't worth it.
r/JBL • View on Reddit →Charge 5 and boombox are the best of these speaker series
r/JBL • View on Reddit →I have had a Soundlink Mini for about the same time. Just sold it though, got a surprisingly good price for such an old device. The truth is I never really liked the sound quality. Bought a couple X600's a couple months ago, and they blow the SL Mini away in sound quality. Also they're louder and have bigger batteries, and cost about the same as I paid for the SL Mini back in the day. The SL Mini just sounded too dark for me, to much bloated bass and muddled voices. Talk radio was annoying as voices don't go through very clearly. I probably expected too much from such a small device, but I was glad to learn that BT speakers have progressed in quality in the meantime. If I was looking for a replacement I'd definitely look at either an X600 for the sound quality, or a JBL Charge for the fantastic battery life.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Just fyi… it’s an all time low price of $120 at Costco right now. Steal of a deal
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →There is a difference. Aside from power bank, Charge 5 has a slightly higher waterproof rating. It is louder with better audio quality than the Flip 6. They do share a similar speaker configuration with a mid-range driver and dedicated tweeter plus the dual passive radiators, but the Charge 5’s speakers are slightly larger. In other words these speakers can be very similar, but in my experience my Charge has been much better at delivering clear and audible sound in my backyard than my Flip 6
r/JBL • View on Reddit →As described before: We feel you on the bass reduction with high volume, it is too noticable, it irks me too, but given the dimensions, you are NOT getting more anyways. Every single decibel increase, especially in bass region, will get exponentially more expensive. The Charge 5 is/was very fairly priced product for what it is, and very good for its size. Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied.
r/JBL • View on Reddit →I may be partial since I own one, but the jbl charge 5 has been treating me well since I’ve bought it over a year ago.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Those citing cheaper prices for the Charge 5 Wifi off eBay, etc.... note that the SE is a completely new version of the Charge 5 Wi-Fi. The SE includes auracast, which is a big deal to many
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →The smalleat portable WiFi speaker is the Charge 5 WiFi try to see If you can get the SE Version though as it also hast Auracast
r/JBL • View on Reddit →JBL Charge 5 Wifi automatically pairs in stereo as soon as you turn the second speaker on
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →JBL Charge is a good pick, or the Flip series if you're more concerned about size, although they are both pretty compact. Soundcore Motion Boom is a good choice as well, however it's a bit more awkwardly shaped if you're trying to fit it in a bag.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Okay, I could see this as a good solution. The 200 series would be the perfect size for the space I have in mind. My wife has a Charge 5 that I always thought sounded really really good given it's small footprint and low cost. Thanks for the recommendation.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I have been really impressed with the JBL charge 5 as a patio speaker. My Sony buds got the dreaded battery failure and I just replaced with some Anker Sound core headphones for like $30 that are amazing for the money. The noise cancelling works with my electric mower that's good enough. There may not be a lot of affordable hifi options like there used to be but now Bluetooth is good, some of the portable speaker/headphone options are really quite amazing for the money.
r/BudgetAudiophile • View on Reddit →I’ve had a pair of Charge 5 Bluetooth only and a pair of WiFi versions. Both only had a three band EQ in either the JBL Portable app or the JBL One.
r/JBL • View on Reddit →Can't go wrong with a JBL Charge or Xtreme for that price, depending on sales
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I ended up getting the Charge, and I am very happy with it! The clarity from it playing thru Wi-Fi is phenomenal! In fact it sounds so good, I might get another for stereo pair! The Charge 5 SE outperforms my JBL Xtreme 4 at least indoors under 50% volume! I had it paired with my JBL Partybox Club 120 thru Auracast watching Apple TV, F1: The Movie, and it shines!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I like my JBL charge 5. Sounds better than the Milwaukee ones, not quite as loud as some of the Milwaukee though. lasts a long time on the battery and you can use it as a battery bank. I like how rugged the Milwaukee ones are but the JBL is at least dust proof.
r/MilwaukeeTool • View on Reddit →I have the charge 5 and soundcore x600. I pick the x600 everyday for souls quality, the charge 5 sounds mono but has more bass.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →As a huge fan of my charge 5, can i ask *which* boombox? Been thinking of grabbing one + one more charge 5 for a poor mans / on the go surround sound vibe. Ive noticed with jbl the latest isnt necessarily always regarded as the greatest.
r/JBL • View on Reddit →Odd. I sold the 5s over a month ago and still only had a three band EQ
r/JBL • View on Reddit →Yes for sure I have two charge 5’s and they sound great paired. I bet the 6’s would sound a little better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →This Costco JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi is a better buy than the standard JBL Charge 6, it has the best of all of Jbl's connectivity options, making it valuable for folks already heavily invested into their existing JBL speakers!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Charge 5 for sure. I even made a video about it. [https://youtu.be/aioywFhbzYg?si=xW19\_N-lwfJ-AQCi](https://youtu.be/aioywFhbzYg?si=xW19_N-lwfJ-AQCi)
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Wow people really love the Charge 5! I got one as a gift and I just really don't care for the way it sounds. Very flat. Also the mesh cover picks up and holds dirt and is very hard to clean. Am I missing something?
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →JBL Charge 5 Wifi would be a perfect choice for you since it has airplay and wifi streaming sounds way better than Bluetooth. Get it from Costco for cheap
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Auracast that is a game changer for the Charge 5 SE!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I hope you're digging the Charge 5 SE. I'm having fun with mine being incorporated into my ever growing list of Auracast speakers!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →Just upgraded from a pair of Charge 5 WiFi speakers. Bought a pair of Charge 6s and all I can say is wow! They sound awesome plus love the seven band EQ and longer playtime. Definitely recommend.
