Diggin my Bose Soundlink. Thin for portability. The bass isn't mind blowing but I was surprised for the size. Sounds great.

I do. for me. so I'm the guy who rarely listens to music around others. I don't like listening to others music especially out side, at a park or beach for example. so I don't listen to my music loud out of consideration. this little bose unit sounds great to just chill with on the back porch, not loud enough for the neighbors to hear but it's able to reproduce great sound at moderate levels. I like this flatter form over the round speakers, it will pack better. if it packs better the chance is higher it will go more places with me.

Yes. I can hear the bass at low volumes. All frequencies are well produced.

I have several models of Bose Soundlink, left one at my previous work facility, all have lasted years and all are in excellent working order. Great sound, and at least 10+ different employees linked to one of them without issue.

Got mine free as a gift from work in 2018. Still works perfectly, but since day 1 I have not been able to get over how good the bass and overall sound is for such a small speaker. Highly recommend

Snagged one of these used for $20 locally! I like it a lot and use it for my computer speaker, I just wish it had a way to disable the auto off so it stayed on all the time.

We’re talking about a speaker under $150 here buddy. The Bose sound link mini beats 95% of the speakers mentioned in these comments, in terms of sound quality. I also don’t want a sub stealing my $1500 B5 speaker.

I have a soundlink mini I bought over a decade ago and it’s still going strong. The battery still holds a charge just fine. The housing is all metal, so it’s built like a tank. Seconding Bose Soundlink!

My favorite Bluetooth speaker ever!!! I have a NIB one i got for $99 on a Black Friday sale in my closet just in case they ever get discontinued. I own like 3-4 of varying age of and have gifted another half dozen to people. I’ve traveled the world with one of these in my carryon or backpack. Warms my heart to see it get some love The make great little speakers for a desktop computer if your battery goes. You can usually tuck it right under the monitor and run it plugged in to the wall and via Bluetooth/aux.

I’ve had the Bose Mini Sound Link for 11 years and at the time it was $99 at Costco but I think their price has increased since then. It sill works really well and holds a charge for hours. I’d check Costco for some other recommendations from here they tend to offer a slight discount.

Hey, I have the same original release soundlink mini. Have always been so impressed with it, for what it is. The last year or 2 however, the battery is starting to die at moderate volume after only a short period. You can turn it straight back on and it’ll work again but will repeat this process. I ended up buying a new beats pill on sale half price (tossed up between jbl flip and beats pill), I was sold because of the price, battery life and ability to do lossless audio (maybe a little gimmicky considering the driver/speaker size/distortion at higher volume). And in all honesty, I still prefer the depth and sound of the Bose!

Still have mine as well. That’s why the first thing I did was look to Bose for a bigger speaker for outdoors. Yeah, they are expensive but they just seem to be built better than the competition.

When aesthetics meet longevity.. When design and sound goes hand in hand.. When simplicity is 100% purposeful. Thats this speaker.. Sounds so nice for what it is than the current generation of so called advanced Bluetooth speakers. If you are afraid that you will loose this Gem, take the soundlink mini version 2 SE, which has almost double the battery life with slightly better sound quality. i have tested Soundlink Mini 2 SE and also the latest Bose soundlink Flex.. Mini can be used as a computer speaker and sound profile (staging, vocals, treble / bass) is same. Only thing that bose couldnt do in this small speaker is the volume level. Flex gets too loud, Flex 70% volume = 100% sound link mini volume.. And of course, Flex has some volume adjustments based on the speaker position .. And it is water proof and can be carried anywhere.

I have a Bose soundlink and a soundlink mini and I think they’re both pushing 15 years. The mini has been drug all over golf courses and gotten wet countless times. The soundlink has been outdoors on patios or back porches everywhere I’ve lived that entire time

I have had a Soundlink Mini for about the same time. Just sold it though, got a surprisingly good price for such an old device. The truth is I never really liked the sound quality. Bought a couple X600's a couple months ago, and they blow the SL Mini away in sound quality. Also they're louder and have bigger batteries, and cost about the same as I paid for the SL Mini back in the day. The SL Mini just sounded too dark for me, to much bloated bass and muddled voices. Talk radio was annoying as voices don't go through very clearly. I probably expected too much from such a small device, but I was glad to learn that BT speakers have progressed in quality in the meantime. If I was looking for a replacement I'd definitely look at either an X600 for the sound quality, or a JBL Charge for the fantastic battery life.

I have a soundlink mini that I just replace the battery in. The sound is still incredible on it. I have tested many other speakers and for personal listening I haven’t tried anything better. I would love to find something bigger that matches the sound quality. I wish it would get more respect from review sites like rting etc.

I had a Soundlink Mini, one of their supposedly good Bluetooth speakers. Its battery held up surprisingly well, even after 10 years it still worked. Of course, the reason it still worked is because I had never really used it because it sounded terrible. Muffled, distant, bloated bass that rattled the whole case and overpowered things like voices. Yet I was able to sell it and buy an actually good sounding BT speaker.

I have the original Bose Soundlink mini with aux input that I use on synths. Great sound and I've literally traveled around the world multiple times with it. The battery eventually wore out, but they sell replacement batteries that make it like new. The battery replacement is extremely straightforward. I wish more companies did this instead of selling disposable products. If you could find one used, it might be worth it for you.

Bose. SoundsLink. I got one for chrismas 3 years ago. I took on a 16-day rafting trip down the Grande Canyon and even lost It in the bottom of the raft for several days where it was wet. Still work perfectly. It's pretty bomber.

Bose Soundlink is a champ, our first died after many years and we got a replacement instead of something different. I was gifted a JBL mini-clip and holy SHIT this thing is loud and has pretty decent sound quality-around $70 I think.

Not magnetic, but the Bose soundlink mini straps perfectly to the handles on the roof of the cart. Mines been in my golf bag for years and it’s a great golf speaker. Not too loud as to be obnoxious but loud enough with good sound quality for its size.
