Do not buy it, it's gutless. Got one as a gift and couldn't return it because it was bought over 14 days ago. Price was $100 and they are $60 on ebay. It is a speaker for a young kid's room. I went and bought a Soundcore X600 on their website refurbed for $139 total and it was on my porch the next day. The Soundcore X600 easily beats my retired Bose Soundlink Mini 2. Yes, it has GOOD BASS.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Speck Gemstone Infinity Mid speakers audio quality ->I have a twin set of those X600 & they go as low as 48Hz on the bass end and & as high as 40,000 on the treble, which is rump shaking territory to a former Audio Ayatollah who had a Pioneer SX1250 system, complimented by Koss Pro 4 AAA headset, that went down to 10Hz on to Bass section and up to 25,000Hz on the treble end as well as a bookended pair of Infinity Quantum Junior Speakers that descend limbo-low to 40Hz on the bottom & 32,000Hz at the top! Believe me, my??s know what they heard during our US Bicentenary of Sovereignty back in the day. And that's what my buds referred to me as Stereo Savants! The system I had was so ?? good sounding that I coined the word EARGASM!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need ONE speaker for everything - what’s the current best choice? ->True, humans can't hear above 20KHz, but two other things do occur, the frequency overhead enabled the music to have less distortion & be able to discern instruments in recordings more distinctly & more to my point, whatever you can't hear directly, you can feel and sense as the notes & sub notes resonate down to through the body, spine and the bone marrow!
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need ONE speaker for everything - what’s the current best choice? ->There’s zero chance a soundcore x600 sounds better than a soundlink flex even up close

I have the charge 5 and soundcore x600. I pick the x600 everyday for souls quality, the charge 5 sounds mono but has more bass.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bluetooth speaker €100-200? ->Soundcore Motion X600 has great sound quality, I thought the spatial audio was going to be a gimmick, but I like it so much I bough a second speaker. They have good bass but it's not the "boomy bass" type. The sound is more natural sounding with great clarity, and the speaker sounds bigger than it is, because of the 5th speaker that adds the spatial audio.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Budget indoor speakers with great sound quality ->Yeah if an accurate soundstage is what you're looking for, you'll benefit from a second speaker so they'll act as left and right speaker, but even not doing that, the soundstage is surprisingly big. I'm a bit of a sucker for audio equipment with exactly the sound quality it offers. Good clarity, big soundstage, good, but not overpowering bass. It's blows away my old BT speakers, which are a Bose Soundlink Mini and a Sony SRS-BTX500. They sound awful compared to it, but then again I think that's probably true for a lot of todays BT speakers, they've come a long way.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Budget indoor speakers with great sound quality ->Kinda criminal that the Soundcore Motion X600 is left out. When I compare the sound quality to my Soundlink Mini and Sony SRS BTX500 it sounds MUCH better, in a whole different league in clarity, sound stage, good balance of highs/mids/lows, excellent highs actually, good bass, not as boomy as most BT speakers...The Spatial Audio feature actually works, it sounds much better with it on. Battery life is pretty decent, not great but not bad either. Build quality is superb for the money you pay, with it's all metal housing. Features are good too, supports high res LDAC, has an actually useful app with functions like setting brightness of the buttons LEDs, a 9 band customizable EQ, settings for sleep timer (which can be set of off as well)... And it's often available for way less than the $200 MSRP, often on sale for $150, I've even heard people seeing it for $99, which is ludicrous for a premium BT speaker.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended portable bluetooth speakers in the past year (Mar 2025) ->Soundcore Motion X600 has a Spatial Audio feature that sounds like a gimmick, but actually works. It makes the speaker sound much bigger than it is by utilizing a fifth speaker that augments the other 4 speakers (2 tweeters and 2 mid/bass speaker, plus a passive radiator) and the sound fires upwards. They used some clever DSP tuning to make it sound really nice. You can also upgrade it later with another unit, they'll play in stereo and will sound even bigger, with an ultra wide sound stage (for BT speakers anyway). I bought 2 myself on sale for about $130 each.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speakers for someone living in bed? ->BT speakers with overblown, boomy bass is my pet peeve. Not sure why I would enjoy listening to bass that overpowers everything else, drowning out things like sound stage, clarity and the little details that make you go "nice!". The only BT speaker I've ever heard that I would describe as having clarity and good vocals, is the Soundcore X600. It has an extra speaker for what they call "Spatial Audio" that handles exactly the frequencies that vocals tend to be in. It's tuned via a DSP to sound noticeably better with the extra speaker on, than off. Try it. I think you'd like it. It has an "Xbass" feature that boosts the bass, but it's best left off.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for bluetooth speaker with no bass at all and vocal clarity. ->Not really, I just replaced a Soundlink Mini and an SRS BTX500 (used to be Sony's top end model) with a Soundcore X600, and I'm blown away how much better the new one sounds than the two old ones. It's not even close, the new one has clarity, musicality, well balanced sound and an actual sound stage. In a BT speaker.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • How can this six year old speaker still sound better than most new speakers? ->This. And for even better sound: two of them, if sound stage and stereo image is important to you. Should be less than $300 for 2.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best sounding portable speaker ->If you like the sound of the Motion+, you would love the sound of the Motion X600. It's louder, it has the Spatial Audio (which sounds like a gimmick but actually isn't) and of course you can get it to play even louder by pairing two of them. And get a wider stereo image as a bonus. It's not for people that want maximum bass, it has good bass, but if you're the type that just wants something punchy for their OOMPH OOMPH, there are better options. It's not dustproof though, so it might not work great in a workshop environment if it's really dirty.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need ONE speaker for everything - what’s the current best choice? ->Yeah I agree, there's a distinct lac of distortion at normal listening levels, they designed the case to be very stiff to reduce resonances, but at high volume there is a bit of distortion. Not an issue for me personally, since I only use mine in small-medium sized rooms, but yeah. This can be fixed by getting two and pairing them of course, but that is true for many speakers today. Also, the battery life is only mediocre. Not as good as a JBL Charge for sure. And I wish it was dustproof, but I can imagine that's not easy to do without changing the sound profile, since it restricts the airflow.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need ONE speaker for everything - what’s the current best choice? ->I bought one because I heard it's a rare "audiophile approved" BT speaker, and not that expensive. I was prepared for the "Spatial Audio" thing to be a gimmick and was skeptical because I've owned so many BT speakers that sounded so muddy, overly emphasized bass with no clarity and no stereo image. Even some of Sony's top end models never sounded good to me. I now own 3 X600's. I want to be sure to have a few spares in case they ever go out of production. They are gems in the BT speaker world.
r/audiophile • Why people are okay with mono Bluetooth speakers? ->Not all of them are mono. My favorite BT speaker (by a good bit, I love the sound quality so much I bought 3) is the Soundcore X600. It has 5.5 speakers. One tweeter each side, one woofer/mid for each side, and an upfiring speaker that creates a larger sound stage. Plus a passive radiator for the bass. You can pair two of them for an even wider stereo image, but just one sounds a lot bigger than BT speakers usually do, and you can definitely pinpoint the position of instruments. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a speaker that sounds bigger than it is, I sometimes even prefer them over my main speakers from Magnepan, there's something about the X600's mids and highs that are just very pleasing, very musical. The kind of stuff where you stop listening to the gear and start listening to the music. I think I even prefer the highs on the X600 over the Magnepans, which sounds ludicrous I know.
r/audiophile • Why people are okay with mono Bluetooth speakers? ->I have had a Soundlink Mini for about the same time. Just sold it though, got a surprisingly good price for such an old device. The truth is I never really liked the sound quality. Bought a couple X600's a couple months ago, and they blow the SL Mini away in sound quality. Also they're louder and have bigger batteries, and cost about the same as I paid for the SL Mini back in the day. The SL Mini just sounded too dark for me, to much bloated bass and muddled voices. Talk radio was annoying as voices don't go through very clearly. I probably expected too much from such a small device, but I was glad to learn that BT speakers have progressed in quality in the meantime. If I was looking for a replacement I'd definitely look at either an X600 for the sound quality, or a JBL Charge for the fantastic battery life.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • 12 Years Old. Still Going Strong. ->Soundcore Motion X600. Really good sound quality if you want fidelity and clarity rather than boomy bass and in-your-face loudness.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Can't decide which one to buy ->I don't know of any BT speaker that is more neutral than the X600 TBH. The majority of them seem to go for the bloated bass with either recessed highs or too extreme highs, they're made to impress rather than to listen to. The thing I like the most about the X600 is that it tends to disappear. That's usually how I judge good audio equipment, do I end up listening to the gear, or the music? And with the X600 I tend to just start to hum along and forget I'm listening to a BT speaker after a while. It disappears and let's me enjoy the music. I thought the "Spatial Audio" thing was going to be a gimmick. It's not. It's a fifth, upwards firing speaker that makes the speaker sound much bigger than it is, they tuned the DSP to do some kind of magic. I'm normally not into gimmicks in audio, and like purity, but the Spatial Audio feature I always have on, it's that good.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Can't decide which one to buy ->Jeeeeez that is bonkers! Let me know when that happens if you happen to catch it. That's cheaper than my current Bluetooth speaker which I got at Walmart for 149.99. Soundcore Motion X600. I didn't have the money to get anything more expensive. Soon I'll probably get 2 Go+Play 3's though.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • What's the Best Bluetooth Speaker to Buy in 2025? (Price, Sound, Battery) ->Oh man, X600 Soundcore for sure. I am really impressed with the design, great features and quality. Few standouts: - aux input under the waterproof connector cover - great EQ control via snappy mobile app, also battery level in there - aluminum handle and case design are beautiful - top notch listening experience. Works great as a portable monitor for electronic instruments.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The Best Bluetooth Speakers in 2025? ->Soundcore x600 absolutely rocks for this.
r/Elektron • what are some good speakers for portable jams? ->Try the soundcore x600. It’s more for hi- Fidelity and quality rather than just volume and bass. Open box soundlink plus is also ok, though it’s a step down in size
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for a solid Bluetooth speaker recommendation under $200 ->Soundcore x600. It’s over man. Nothing else comes close
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best sounding speakers for around $400 CAD? ->100% AGREE, this guy must be playing a low bitrate stream for the X600 to sound better.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The Best Bluetooth Speakers in 2025? ->I also owned both and returned the X600 after using both for 30 days indoor and outdoor. My EARS and those of my guests are the basis. X600 needs tweaking when genre changes - not consistent in SQ. No need to tweak on the sound link, sounds great at all volumes
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • The Best Bluetooth Speakers in 2025? ->I just got the Soundcore X600 for $69 from a closeout deal or something on Wal-Mart. They are sold out now. It’s a great little speaker, and I actually like the Spatial Audio (although it’s not “real), feature for spreading the stereo field. It does distort, etc when you turn it up, and it doesn’t have multipoint, but feel its worth the $70. I don’t like mono speakers at all. I also have a Boss Soundflex Max on the way…lol. It was on sale for $200 refurbished. I will probably just keep them both, lol. I also have the Anker Sound go 4 in my tennis bag for when I am on the court! For $20, it’s a great deal.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →For only $15 more, I chose the Soundcore Motion X600 (2 woofers + 2 tweeters + upward full range driver) w/ LDAC. Ordered two, for wider soundstage and TWS true L & R stereo separation.

r/audiophile • View on Reddit →But you can get a soundstage with imaging. For example, my Soundcore X600 is one of them. The stereo soundstage is probably 2.5 times larger than the speaker and imaging is pretty decent within that space. I'm not talking about a 6 to 12 foot wide soundstage like with separate speakers, just a soundstage that is wider than a single speaker.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • View on Reddit →I think our taste are different, that’s okay, what I said above is only my opinion and I respect your opinion as well, but the way you described the X600 was not exactly real, you should see a E&T specialist and check your ears if you think the X600 is a crap. It may be not your type of sound.

While I own and enjoy the JBL Authentic 300 and the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3, I am cautious about taking them outside and I have no worries about the X600 outdoors.
