i was about to say THIS. Amazing very close to flat headphones, i am so happy with them. Also you can hear the low end properly unlike famous overhead headphones that people use.
r/TechnoProduction • In ear monitors for production ->you can usually get decent 10$\~ cables from amazon or aliexpress. just look for 0.78mm 2-pin cables. tripowin, xinhs, nicehck, kbear are good brands zero's are abit brighter in the treble versus the reds which might exacerbate the pitchy highs issues you're hearing rn. reds are also generally just a step up from the cheapie 20$ sets like zero i'd opt for the cable
r/iems • TruthEar RED vs Salnotes Zero (Original) ->much more boosted low end then reds get the cable from wherever is convenient with good shipping + prices + selection, most usually getting from alieexpress, linsoul, amazon. if hangout works for you then get from hangout
r/iems • TruthEar RED vs Salnotes Zero (Original) ->ye tuning mismatch between the iem and your preferences. was it the original zero blue or the zero reds. zero are also known for their pretty bad fit for a good amount of people with really chunky nozzles. if the blues weren't bassy enough for you you're probably a basshead and would enjoy something like 7hz legato
r/iems • Bought the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero and I'm disappointed - need advice as a complete IEM noob ->I had the same feelings of the Red. I'm not sure why they are rated so highly. Everything you described is how it sounded to me. I returned them a few days after purchasing when they first came out. I even waited some months and tried again thinking maybe my first pair was a bad set since they kept getting great reactions on Reddit. But my second pair felt the same. Retuned them again right away.
r/inearfidelity • Trying Hard to love the Zero Red ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

I bought some zero reds and the buds weren't in the box. Like... cardboard hadn't been bent where the buds would sit, so doubt it was stolen and returned. Looks like they were never put in from factory. A photo and an explanation to Amazon and they sent a return label and then replaced no questions asked. Amazon has been good for me for iem, no further issues at all. Depends on your country and your Amazon history, but I would say it is quicker and safer than other places. Having said all that, depending on the store, aliexpress has been brilliant too, just a lot slower for postage
r/iems • Is amazon a fine place to buy my first IEMs? ->I have Crinacle Zero Reds which I got for like 50-60 bucks like 7 months ago. It's an IEM. It's the best one so far for it's price range. There are better ones for sure but since it was my first IEM, I needed to know what I was getting into and wasn't willing to splurge more for one. You can check r/iems for better ones with your budget. I used to go for headsets but I found IEMs a bit better now. I always had problems with the ear muffs of headsets irritating my ears, and IEMs solved that for me. EQ softwares is a must as well. Better to test it with a buddy for tweaking it. I use Sonar now, but I used to use Fxsound for R6 until I switched to Sonar. It's simpler and has more options for you to tweak and its just simply better overall.
r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite • What Headset Are You Guys Using To Play ABI? ->Same here lol I started off with the 7hz ZERO 2 last January then months later made the jump and ordered the Truthear Zero RED and a week later ordered the Truthear Hexa which ended up arriving before the REDs 😂
r/iems • These are the most recommended IEMs on Reddit (r/iems VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->I'd say the difference between the Truthear Zero RED (55usd) and the 7hz ZERO 2 (25usd), my first IEM, is very noticeable.
r/iems • These are the most recommended IEMs on Reddit (r/iems VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->Actually the Hexa are noticeably cleaner and has better instrument separation than the REDs, it even feels strange at first being able to hear everything in the tracks, so I'd say they are the "true audiophile experience" and the REDs are more fun sound in comparison. The Moondrop Aria 2 seems like a nice choice as well. I haven't tried them but I have a good impression of its specific Dynamic Driver it uses. The same DD is used on the Moondrop MOCA which I own and it certainly delivers good performance despite Bluetooth limitations, so a wired pair would definitely sound great. Last week my Moondrop ROBIN (same Dynamic Driver as the Aria 2) arrived and I'm kinda confused about the fact it outperforms the Truthear Zero REDs in technicalities.
r/iems • These are the most recommended IEMs on Reddit (r/iems VS others) as of Jan 2025 ->It's nice to hear your impression of them, given you have experience with other sets. I have been using them since Jan 4, swapping between the ZERO:2, Truthear Gate, Zero RED and Hexa and the Moondrop MOCA. At first I was reluctant about placing them above the Zero RED, and got blasted in the comments for saying they sound better than budget wired IEMs. But honestly yes I agree with you. The ROBIN have excellent sound presentation.
r/iems • Moondrop Robin is great! ->Is this crinicle? I have the reds and I absolutely love them. They sound way better than my HyperX Cloud Alpha S for half the price
r/PHbuildapc • Best IEM with best sound quality under 2k Php? ->If you can push your budget just a bit more, I highly suggest getting the Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red. I have been using them for almost a year na and they are wayyy better than my HyperX Alpha S
r/PHbuildapc • Best IEM with best sound quality under 2k Php? ->Truthear zero all the way bro. Absolute value for money, only costs $47 from amazon. It has good positional audio for gaming and really crisp. FWIW, my mate and I recently did an analysis on Reddit data for IEMs. Basically ranked them by aggregated sentiment. Maybe you'll find it helpful (google RecSift) You can filter by use cases, price ranges, and get a breakdown of what ppl have said about the most often recommended ones (disclaimer some links are affiliate they help fund the analyses)
r/iems • Looking for IEMs under $140 with better directional audio for FPS on PC ->I've been using the RED for mixing and stuff (its just a hobby I'm not making anything commercial) and they have been serviceable (mixes always sounded pitchy in high ends when listening on different devices to me tho) but the cable that it came with is busted and dead. I've tried contacting Truthear but their email support is not answering and checked places to get different replacement cables but all of them ship for crazy amount of cash. Finally found a shop online that sends at normal shipping prices IEMs and i've seen and read online that Salnotes Zero are good and i guess enough for what what i'd use them? I liked the sound of the REDs which are considered neutral (?) but before that i've been using the AKG K240 headphones and got "better" mixes out of them, but for medical reasons i can't use them anymore. Now my question is, are the Salnotes good/would it be good for my needs but also should i spend more on something better (I really dont want to spend more than 100 bucks with shipping) ? Should i get the REDs again? EDIT: Also another thing to note, the RED that i have have their shell broken but they are working, i'd just need to get new cable for them but im not sure how to get a 3rd party replacement for them. Any help would be appreciated. The site where i'm thinking to buy from has limited cables. Tripowin Zombur seems the only one that are worth looking at since the other cables are just the amount of the Salnotes or more expensive than them.
r/iems • TruthEar RED vs Salnotes Zero (Original) ->Yeah i found Tripowin Zombur which i can get and it seems they are fine for the RED (?) Also are the Zero 2 any different? Seems like they are kinda similar to the RED one's but have the low end boosted? I'm not sure for how long the RED's are gonna work since the shell itself is beat up and broken but functionally they are totally fine, its just the cable that's dead. Also [hangout.audio](http://hangout.audio) is the place where i was thinking to buy which i guess its fine since its Crinacles site?
r/iems • TruthEar RED vs Salnotes Zero (Original) ->Gotcha, i guess i should go with Hexa over RED again if my REDs die?
r/iems • TruthEar RED vs Salnotes Zero (Original) ->I have the truthear reds blues hexa gate nova I think the blue 2 is a pass for me feels like a unnecessary addition and release
r/iems • View on Reddit →Same here lol I started off with the 7hz ZERO 2 last January then months later made the jump and ordered the Truthear Zero RED and a week later ordered the Truthear Hexa which ended up arriving before the REDs 😂
r/iems • View on Reddit →Hi everyone! So as the title says I'm looking to buy the thruthear Hexa, because there's many aspects of it that interest me except for one I found out recently, hence why I'm writing this post: I'm a guy that enjoys listening to clear vocals, high male voices, guitar solos, classical music, and because of that I tend to prefer a more neutral tone with a slight emphasis on mids especially upper mids. I tried the thruthear Red for some months and found them too bassy and too shouty in the treble. However even though I don't like bass so much I do really like the rumbling feeling of a sub-bass done right, as I usually say "I like to feel the bass but I don't like to hear it". Therefore I'm looking for a vocal focused clean sound neutral tuned iem, around 75€, that ideally has a metal shell!! (Here's why I'm now hesitant on the hexa, I thought they had a metal body), the metal shell is because my reds fell to the ground 2 times and broke completely, so I want to avoid resin builds from now on. Should I get the hexa? Or has anything in the last years came out that beat it at what it offers, or something that really fits my criteria? Thanks for the help!
r/iems • View on Reddit →You mean Truthear zero:red vs zero:blue? If I recall correctly blues have more bass. Usually you don't want too much bass while gaming, because shots and explosions are in the lower area. If you are to choose between those two for gaming, I'd go with reds. But I think truthear hexa is in the same price bracket (more or less), and they have more neutral sound than either of those two, and that's even better for gaming (explosions and shots would be too much in bassy iems).
r/nin • View on Reddit →I have the red too, and i hate it, i just find it unbearably boring. The KZ d-fi has almost the same tuning and is 10x more fun at 1/4 of the price. About the pure, according to the comments i read, it's not an upgrade, it's just different, the people who liked the hexa just found the pure as "muddy"; but at least for me, i won't buy a truthear ever again, it's just the same recipe as ever, cheap cable, cheap eartips, a waifu in the box and the price $60+.
r/iems • View on Reddit →I'm looking for suggestions for a bassy IEM around the $100 range. I've previously used the Moondrop Chu 2 and then upgraded to the Truthear Zero Red. While I liked the balanced tuning of the Zero Red, I originally bought it for its bass, which turned out to be underwhelming. Now I want to move up to the next tier with something that delivers truly impactful and satisfying bass. Any recommendations?

r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite • View on Reddit →Personally I like the Trio and the Vader Balanced over any of the Truthear Zeros. You can get the Trio or Vader Balanced for under $30, and with a good cable from KBEar, you will still be under the price of the Zeros, and have better overall tonality, without the oddball shortcomings of the Zeros. I still feel, personally, that the Zero Blue is better than the Blue2. But I am in a minority for this opinion.

r/iems • View on Reddit →My personal journey to find the perfect audio setup that works for me was long and expensive. Put simply, I tried a ton of the gamer-focused headsets first. Went through a lot, and some of them were actually decent, but in the end, I realized the truth: gamer headphones are not a good value. They put more resources into the branding and aesthetics than they do for actual audio quality. The one exception to this was the Sennheiser/Drop PC38x. These are wired open back headphones with a built-in mic. For me, these were far and away the best sounding "gamer" headphones I ever tried, and it wasn't even close. The open back really opens up the soundstage, which, at least for me, really helped with directional audio. The convenience of the built-in mic was definitely a bonus too. Sadly, it looks like they are no longer making these... maybe Drop or Sennheiser still makes something similar but I haven't looked. I ran the Astro a40's for a long time too. These also have an open back design, but I always found them to be a bit too harsh, and I spent WAY too much time trying to tweak the EQ to get them to sound good. The terrible software didn't help matters either. IEM's are all the rage now. I was skeptical at first, but have found this to be the best way to go. IEM's were always kind of a niche item that was historically expensive for a decent set, but over the last few years, a TON of really good IEM's have hit the market for super cheap. My current favorite set are the Truthear Crinacle Zero Reds. You can find them on sale pretty often for around $50. If that's too much, there are a lot of great options in the $15 - $50 range too. The KZ Castors come to mind: I think I got mine for like $25 and I like these almost as much as the Zero Reds. The Audiovance Vibes 202's are good as well and can be had for around $30. I like them because they sound really great, and I like the cables they come with. And of course, everyone loves the Moondrop Chu II. I have those as well and they are indeed quite good, especially for the price (around $20). The amazing thing is that all of the IEM's I mentioned above sound way better than the in ear monitors I used to use back in my days of playing live music... and they literally cost hundreds of dollars less. It blows my mind. The one downside to IEM's is the lack of a built-in mic. This is easy to get around if you are playing on PC, but a little less convenient if you play on console. I have a dedicated mic for my setup since I do a lot of music recording so it isn't a problem, but if you need a built-in mic, there are cables for IEM's that you can buy that have a little mic built in. I can't really speak to how good they are, but I would think that would work ok plugged directly into your Xbox or PS controller. Anyway, I didn't set out to write a book here when I started this post, but there it is... TLDR; iems are the way to go. Even the Moondrop Chu II's sound significantly better than even the most expensive gamer-focused headsets. And that's before you even consider cost. If you are like me, and your earholes don't generally like earbuds, you may need to experiment with different tips to find something that is comfortable enough to wear for long periods, but once you do it is awesome, and definitely worth the trouble.

r/inearfidelity • View on Reddit →Just bought the reds couple of days ago and not seeing them on the list made me kinda sad😂. Anyways 3 of them have kinda different tunings right? So always thought them to be entirely different models.
r/iems • View on Reddit →Ive heard really good things about the Ziigat x Fresh Reviews Aretes - Linsoul Audio will be having a spring sale in a couple days too. Currently run TurthEar Crinacle Zero Reds and like them.
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • View on Reddit →With Mic? Can you explain the mic connected to the earbud combo or standalone IEM's? Standalone IEMs, my vote is Truth Ear.
r/XboxSeriesXlS • View on Reddit →Ive been on the TruthEar Crinacle Zero Reds and really enjoy them. Been looking at the Ziigat x Fresh Reviews Arete. Heard good things - just didn't wanna drop $250 on IEMs when I first switched over lol.
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • View on Reddit →for me, the real problem of zero red and blue is not their sound but their comfort is the problem. their big nozzle create the pain vacuum in my ears. i end up returned both of them because i can't wear their more than 1 hour.
r/iems • View on Reddit →I had a the red, but the bass was too much for me and it wasn't tight, it was muddy, the one I bought after that is the hexa, it's much better, of course it's not in that price range
r/iems • View on Reddit →Moondrop chu 2 or Tripowin vivace + some cheap dongle is my rec , something like truthear zero is a little bit better
r/iems • View on Reddit →IEMs and headphones can't be compared. But Zero Red is better value for money.
r/iems • View on Reddit →I've been super happy with them, and came from the zero reds (which I loved). It took a minute to get the fit (tips make a big difference) but once I got it, I was golden. I've noticed, with these, they don't always "wow" with incredible detail, at least initially. It's in the middle of the session when you really feel how much power is packed in that case. I don't know, they are just totally fun. It's like a little orchestra is jammed into a walnut shell stuffed in your ear. Sounds weird. Sounds goooood, though. I do think, one day, I'll go nuts and spend $1,000. That's the five-year plan, anyway, because who doesn't want to drop a fat bill for maaaaaybe 10% more clarity you aren't sure is even there?
r/iems • View on Reddit →I stopped reading at "Truthear Zero Red", that trash usually goes for $55-65 and "Bass-forward"? did you ever listen that thing? All HBB collabs are known for their bass but the zero red?. It's $60 for an iem with a cheap cable and cheap eartips, with a gigantic nozzle, how do you tip roll with that nozzle?. It's just one of the worst iems for a beginner and totally overpriced, you can get a better cable and eartips with the Tangzu wan'er at 1/3 of the price. It's 2025 with so many options, at this point it's just a meme of this subr recommending that thing
r/iems • View on Reddit →I've got both. It's kinda hard decision. Both are good, just zero reds are better in technicalities and maybe slightly in detail retrieval. Cadenza is great too, has a tactical bass, very cool to listen to heavy metal and the drums double kick, you can literally feel the texture. Also cadenzas are slightly warmer than zero reds which are even more neutral but with less midbass and that makes them being "less warm". Honestly if I had to buy only one, I'd stick with zero reds since for me they are more versatile IEMs and with the impedance adapter they go pretty close to the cadenzas sound signature. Either way you cannot go wrong. Edit: Also Zero reds take better the EQ than cadenzas in my experience. I guess that's due to the dual dynamic drivers.

r/iems • View on Reddit →A year ago, I switched from the Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red to the Thieaudio Monarch MKIII and the difference was mindblowing, even though the Zero Red was really good for its price.
r/iems • View on Reddit →It's nice to hear your impression of them, given you have experience with other sets. r/iems • View on Reddit →If you can push your budget just a bit more, I highly suggest getting the Truthear x Crinacle Zero: Red. I have been using them for almost a year na and they are wayyy better than my HyperX Alpha S
r/PHbuildapc • View on Reddit →Red user here seeking for advice: I bought the reds expecting them to be less bassy (even without the adapter) than they are, to my hears I like how I can feel the rumbling of it, but I feel it greatly overshadows vocals and makes music less clear and balanced as I'd like. On top of it, I use it outside sometimes and found the resin build quite easy to break when it falls. The treble distortion in higher volumes is also very apparent to me, but maybe I'm using the wrong tips, or I haven't found an EQ to my test (I auto EQd it, and tried to mess around but it always feels like I'm making it worse) For these reasons I've been thinking of getting the truthhear hexa, with it's metal build and advertised neutral focused tuning. However I'm seeing great comments about this IEM, so the question is should I go for the hexa or for the blue 2? I like clear vocals, I like to feel the bass more than hear it, and I love upper mids, I really want something that can emphasize guitar solos, rock/classical tenor voices in the high register, the upper middle region of the piano etc Which one do you think would serve me better?
r/iems • View on Reddit →Something that dramatically augments the sound isn't a big deal? Ok Chief. I own all three of the Zeros. The OG Blue I gave to a friend. My Zero Red delaminated, and was trashed (still use the impedance adapter for testing), and the Zero2 I returned, because that 12k peak was absolute garbage. If they ever release a Zero:RED2 that corrects the Zero2 treble spike, and is closer to JM1 in a properly budget set, I will get it too. Just because YOU don't have a problem on a laptop (which typically has a weaker headphone putout, or if it is a Mac, they are low impedance by design), almost every PC motherboard is high impedance. It basic electronics and electrical engineering science. Can't change physics. And it's something that everyone should be aware of, so if they encounter it, they know.

r/iems • View on Reddit →I would recommend buying a budget pair of IEMs until you are okay with the in-ear feeling. I used a pair of TRN St3 for a decade, they were great for the price. Treble would get a little blown out when a dozen grenades / non silenced weapons go off in dorms. Upgraded to Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED in 2023, when they were on sale for 40$. These are some of the best quality to price ratio I feel. (Due to popularity I think they are over 60$ now). Few years ago got Truthear Hexa, they are **really** fantastic and versatile. I'm able to pinpoint locations very easily. And the soundstage (music/bass) is spectacular. The Truthear Hexa is my daily driver, and my main for tarkov. My friend wanted a pair of Kiwi ears (cause they really look unique and cool), I bought him a pair of Cadenza and Singolo. He uses the Cadenza on his phone and Singolo on the PC. I bought Truthear products from [https://shenzhenaudio.com/](https://shenzhenaudio.com/) Kiwi Ears products from [https://www.linsoul.com/](https://www.linsoul.com/)
r/EscapefromTarkov • View on Reddit →There's iems for every pocket :) You can get some super cheap options for $20. But don't expect to be blown away by those I have several under $100 IEMs and my favorite ones are Truthear Zero:Red But it all depends on what kind of sound you like, and how much money are you willing to spend
r/nin • View on Reddit →Mine too, i tried a bunch till 100$, nkthing beats my red, iit is very immersive and have a profound sound with great texture bass. My other iems got a reference status, they sleep on a iem compulsive bag of my old days, thats my endgame, i dont need more sound quality than red delivers, that being said, i love its balanced tunning, nothing fatigating about it, you can enjoy its pure enchantment for hours to go... If id lost it, or break it, would certainly buy it again, wouldnt try another thing, most probably I simple love it, its my drug when hearing good blues, ambient, lo fi, chill ✌ï¸

This community is awesome! â¤ï¸ Some of the answers to the questions you guys asked :- \- Yes I have tried higher impedance adapter(40 ohms) with the Zero reds - still the bass is lackluster \- Thanks for the suggestion for tip rolling, I tried a slightly bigger nozzle that came with the zero reds and the bass seems to be very slightly improved (if not for this suggestion I would never realized that tips play a major role in bass) \- Will try one of the suggested iem upgrade - 7Hz Legato / CVJ vivian / fatfreq deuce / SuperTFZ Force 1 / ISN Audio H2 / Kiwi ears etudes / NiceHCK F1 Pro \- Some have suggested iems that are below the price point and seems to be more bassy heavy compromising the sound quality, I wanted a iem that has reasonable bass without the compromising other aspects, thanks for these suggestions also. \- Yes I did tuned the iem to have bass boost but I don't think Zero reds takes the bass boost very well - seems to be muddy \- Thanks for the crazy idea of connecting RCA output from AMP to the chair.
