Canopy - Bedside Humidifier 2.0

We got the Carepod 4-in-1 Dishwasher Safe Target exclusive. So far, we love it. It lasts all night, can use tap water, and doesn't have the "steam." It also runs until the tank is completely dry, then shuts off. We've had it for almost a month, running it every night. No leaking. No mold.

The water container is dishwasher safe so it's super easy maintenance. You don't have to clean it that often. There's an option to also have an essential oil pod diffuser if you want. It's been my favorite so far and recommended to me by my doctor. They also have a nursery version as well, but I can't speak to that. It looks pretty similar.

UPDATE: I ended up buying Canopy 2.0 lol. It's pretty expensive but it beats having to buy distilled water, although I do have to buy the filters. But there are cheaper offbrand filters on Amazon that come in a pack. Originally I didn't want the canopy because of mold growth in a particular hard to reach spot, but it appears that the 2.0 fixed that issue? The grill on top is also removable for easy access to the fan, and I don't really see any place that's hard to clean. I really do like this one so far as it ticks off all my boxes and I hope it lasts. also: everything but the motor compartment + filter is machine washable. there's 3 modes, although i do think the lowest mode is not silent but i could sleep through the white noise. the other 2 modes are loud af

Check out a Canopy humidifier. Way easier to clean

Buy an evaporative humidifier like Canopy. It doesn't create white dust, all the particulate in the water gets trapped in the filter. Worth every penny

Sleeping with a humidifier has made all the difference, even for when I can't control the humidity levels while at work or outside. If you're still looking, I spent a loooong time sorting through all of the humidifiers in the comparison table that another Redditor (it's pinned in the Humidifiers sub). I ended up going with a Canopy model and it's made a huge difference. It was pricey, but for me, the dishwasher-safe aspect was the real seller. Hi, I've owned both the Canopy and the Carepod humidifiers, and I much prefer the Carepod. In my experience, the Canopy doesn't release as much moisture as I'd like, and I'm not a fan of their subscription model for the filters. I've been using the Carepod for about two months now and have been pretty happy with it. It's very easy to clean, but the only downside is that it doesn't have a humidity sensor, so it runs continuously, putting out moisture all day/night until the water runs out. If you're in between the two the carepod is the way to go.

Thank you for the advice. Is there a recommended evaporative humidifier? I already have aprilaire 700 in the hvac, but that only gets us to 40-45%. Hoping for 50-60% for the young kiddos. Could I replace the aprilaire with something "bigger"? Or wider to have supplemental humidifiers (like I have...but evaporative so I can use tap water). Trying a Canopy in our primary bedroom now, but it appears to lack the ability to get us to our desired humidity levels. It seems to hold around 45%.

I use Canopy - idk if there are any humidifiers that are actually bifl but canopy has replaced anything broken without hassle and that's pretty amazing. Have been through so many others - these are easy to clean in the dishwasher and the filter works fine (great for hard water). I like keeping the air purifier separate physically so that it's not just sucking up the humidified air.

Another canopy vote. They're expensive as all get out but damn, the convenience of throwing all the parts in the dishwasher is worth it. We have 3 so they fill up the top rack and I just run a quick cycle with no heated dry. Plus with the filters you really see just how much gunk it's getting out of the air.

I have been trying to answer this question myself. We had a Honeywell that was impossible to clean, and wasn't dishwasher safe. Those brands are the top 2 that meet your criteria. So you're looking for a unicorn basically. There's another one that has some dishwasher safe parts and very open body that's easy to clean. I owned it, but I found that it doesn't last 12 hours at the high setting, which meant our baby's room ran out and went dry before she woke up. The carepod doesn't have a filter need, but it requires distilled water, and I cannot stand the idea of buying water and using over 1 gallon of it per day. Even a brita filter. The whole point is I wanted to save money by avoiding a filter. So on to canopy. The bedside canopy one is too small and also runs out before the night ends. So we bought the larger one and we're waiting for it to arrive. Apparently I'm willing to spend a lot of money on a humidifier. Or at least I am if it works..

I've had good success with canopy. A little trendy and pricy, but it's very aesthetic, is a wicking humidifier so doesn't build up mold or calcium as easily, and it's nearly completely dishwasher safe. Only part that isn't is the water level sensor which you can wipe with a towel easily. On the low setting, it's very quiet, though does sound like a small fan on the higher setting.

I love my canopy so much! It is so easy to clean and you don't need to nearly as often as other humidifiers that are so annoying to take apart! I recommend to everyone and am not sponsored lol

I'm using a canopy humidifier and like it a lot. Works with tap water, essentially the entire thing except the base can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning, it's supposed to have a mold preventative technology to help prevent any mold build up within the machine. It does have filters, but you don't have to replace them super often and that supports the ability to use tap water

We returned the carepod. It was too expensive for me to comfortably use tap water and our cheaper humidifier from before either of these two left white dust everywhere when we used tap water. So I much preferred the canopy, even though it needs filters. The larger canopy lasted all night, a little longer even. We liked it so much that we kept the smaller one for our room for when we get sick. No regrets, definitely recommend.
