I find this quite strange because I share the same concerns as you, but unlike you, the curved side of the EC2 is why I always used mice based on that; IME 3.0, and then EC2 versions over the years (EC2 OG with glossy sides, EC2 Blue rubberised, and a few years ago the EC2-DW. However, I switched to the Vaxee AX O because I experienced some skipping issues with a few EC2-DW units. My Vaxee has recently given me some double-clicking issues after a year and a half, and I'm thinking what's next

r/MouseReview • My issue transitioning away from g305. Has anyone been through the same thing? What mouse did you end up getting? ->I have a very similar hand size to yours, and I have tried many mice in the past few weeks. I usually play with a relaxed claw grip. If any shop where you live offers a return policy or allows you to try mice in their shop, I would suggest that. Your palm should have decent support, and all of your fingers should be able to rest naturally. I didn't like the Viper V3 Pro because it was too narrow in the middle, and the clicks caused my fingers to go into a V shape. My pinky had no place to rest. The Maya X and Superlight 2 are much more comfortable and universal for symmetrical mice. For ergos, I might recommend the EC2 or Xlite V4 medium, which are very popular shapes. I believe that mice under 122x62x40 will feel weird if you sometimes palm your mice and are used to good palm support. Smaller mice would work, but you need a different grip style with your hand size.
r/MouseReview • Help finding a mouse ->FYSA, Zowie used to send a mouse sampler to your house then keep and pay for the one you like. That’s how I got my EC2-A. I will always go with them for their customer service and great quality. They made me a loyal customer and I like more simple mouses or mice rather than 27 buttons on the side so they work for me. Probably upgrading to their wireless soon. I know the super light G or whatever from Logitech gets a ton of love too and only has “5” buttons, but I like Zowie.
r/apexuniversity • switching to mnk - how do i pick a mouse? ->Hey all, Longtime lurker here—been quietly reading posts on this sub for years, but I randomly felt compelled to write this after a bit of a personal breakthrough in-game. Maybe it'll help someone else who's been stuck in the same cycle I was. I’ve been playing Counter-Strike since 2001 (yes, I’m old), and over the years I’ve used more mice than I can count—definitely a bit of a mouse whore. My hands are fairly large (19.5 x 11 cm), but for some reason, I’ve always gravitated toward smaller mice. Let’s rewind for a second… My earliest memories were with that classic white Logitech Optical Mouse—didn’t take gaming too seriously back then, but I remember it being on the smaller side, and I guess that stuck. When I started getting more serious, I switched to the Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 and that was honestly my golden era. My aim felt crisp, clutch plays were regular, and I never thought much about the mouse—it just worked. After that, I fell back into the small mouse rabbit hole: SteelSeries Kinzu, Razer Diamondback, etc. I still held my own, but I noticed something: I sucked with the AWP. I just accepted it—"Guess I’m not an AWPer." Eventually landed on the EC2-A for a long stretch. Never quite regained that 1.6-era magic, but I chalked it up to aging, life, priorities shifting… all that stuff. I kept going with small mice anyway—FK2, MM710, MM720 (honestly loved that one for pure comfort), and most recently the MM712. From 2017 to now, I’ve been on and off with CS. I’ll grind for a few months, then disappear for a while. Recently jumped back in and found my MM712’s sensor acting up. I had a few backups lying around, including an old Glorious Model D wired—a mouse I never gave much time because it was big, and hey, I’m a “small mouse guy,” right? Wrong. I booted it up, played a few DMs, and… damn. My aim felt locked in. Tapping was on point. I had way more control than I ever did with smaller mice. That “floating” feeling from smaller shapes? Gone. Micro-adjustments that used to mess up my spray? Gone. This thing just plants itself in my hand like a brick, and suddenly I’m palm gripping again like it’s 2005. Even the AWP, which I’ve always struggled with, started clicking—literally. Shots are connecting more than ever. For years I told myself, “I’m just not an AWPer,” but maybe I just never had the right tool in my hand. It made me realize: I’ve been prioritizing what feels comfortable over what actually performs best for me. The EC2 probably should’ve been an EC1. Who knows, maybe I’d be lifting a trophy at Katowice by now /s. I’ve had my eye on the Vaxee E1, but it’s more in line with the EC2 size—and now I’m thinking I’ve been going too small for too long. Might be time to go full circle and pick up the EC1-DW instead. I’m finally starting to understand that bigger might just be better… at least for my hands and how I play. Has anyone else experienced this? TL;DR: Big-hand guy who loved small mice realized he was nerfing his own aim for years. Turns out comfort doesn’t always equal performance. RIP to all that lost ELO.
r/MouseReview • Big hands, small mice, and a performance revelation (CS vet since 2001) ->The sound of Zowie EC's scroll wheel can drive you crazy, though. It's too loud, too squeaky. Probably one of the worst-sounding scroll wheels I've ever come across.
r/MouseReview • Mouse between Logitech Dex and DAv3HS ->the makeshift ring support on the EC2 is amazing haha (miss the divina line sm)
r/MouseReview • 2011 Mouse with the best ergonomics ever, Ring + Pinky Finger support and the right click being longer than the left click should be standar ->I loved mine, even customized it perfectly with lizard skin. Sadly I lost it. However I now have a zowie ec2-cw, thing is great. Battery lasts forever
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->Those who know of it know that it fits the hand so perfectly.
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->Loving my zowie ec2-cw. Classic ergonomic shape fits the hand so well, makes it great for fps.
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->I have the same size hands and had almost the same problem with the same mice - aggressive claw grip so no pinky dragging, but I had to curl too much for the HyperSpeed. Landed on a Vaxee E1 and it fits me perfectly. It and the Zowie EC2-DW its shape is based on are worth checking out. The E1 sometimes does feel a bit short in my hand, but the EC2 is supposed to be a bit longer so it might work better for you since your grip seems and sounds a bit less aggressive than mine. Consider nabbing them secondhand if the price is prohibitive (they pretty much don't go on sale ever). edit: Also important to note those Deathadder shapes you tried are based off the EC1/2, so it'll be a familiar shape to you.
r/MouseReview • Need help choosing my gaming mouse ->They're both very similar shape wise, maybe EC2 is better since it's a little longer but imo you can't go very wrong that way (same person designed the shape for both mice). It may be better to consider features making the decision. EC2-DW has a nice recharging station that doubles as the dongle but has a very tactile and loud scrollwheel which might not be good for an office but is pretty great for gaming. Vaxee E1 has a standard dongle and normal and high quality scrollwheel, but also has imo much nicer main buttons. Vaxee is actually some core members of Zowie who left to make their own gaming company and Zowie has had arguably the best reputation among gaming mice companies for a very long time. Both make mice built like tanks and are proven eSports options, so you don't have to worry on that front.
r/MouseReview • Need help choosing my gaming mouse ->Honestly I would love the deathadder v4 pro but the v3 is basically the same and after trying the zowie ec2 cw I think I'm sticking with zowie for now . Hopefully razer cones out with something more enticing.
r/MouseReview • DeathAdder V4 Pro Review after 15 gaming hours. Compared to Viper V3 pro ->Was going to comment this but decided to see if someone did it first. Zowie's EC2-DW is just insanely comfortable. I have both the DW and the CW. Started with the CW model and when I found out about a lighter mouse with the same exact shape, I decided to instantly buy it

r/MouseReview • What's the most comfortable mouse you've useed and why? ->hehe, as an autist that has been through 15+ mices, the one that I had that lasted the longest was the EC2-B back in the days, I still have it and use it sometimes, not available right now, but the wireless version EC2-DW is out, but I don't know what kind of grip/style they have. I have also used logitech superlight and some other ones, and I do recommend the superlight, but after 1 year use it's fully broken, if I move it a bit you hear all sorts of sounds inside. But I do recommend the superlight, but they probably have smaller hands, then again I don't know. I used to rock the deathadder when I was young, they were very big compared to my hand, but god damn they were so good. I tend to use heavier mices now as I feel like they are more steady
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Zowie EC2 DW. I’m not even a gamer but the build quality, switches, and dock all make it a really great mouse even though it’s pricy. The thing is a fingerprint magnet though.

r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Update : Thanks again, EC2-DW from Zowie is perfect for my hand size :)

r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →Nice mine are basically 20x10cm. Ec2 is all I use these days. Might grab a DAv3 wired to test though

r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →lmfao this is how i grip my mouse for comfort i loved my ec2a used it for like 3 years rn im trying out a Razer Viper v3 pro chinese clone. my mains are gpx and op1 thi
r/MousepadReview • View on Reddit →How does it compare to the V2 pro? I bought it 3 years ago and I had to replace it a few days ago. I bought a zowie EC2-DW but it's a bit slippery, the skates are very very good though. WIth the zowie I realized my old razer felt very very cheap, clicks are mushy, mouse-3 broke etc. And I really hate razer synapse. But I'm contemplating the V4 pro, have the issues I just noted been improved on a lot or nah?
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I did purchase and EC2-CW but it was a bit heavy for my liking so I sold it for the same price I purchased it for £60. I would like to try a Vaxee mouse myself but they're kind of expensive here in the UK and I rather wait for them to start releasing mice around the 50g range at least.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Thank you, i still stand by my point on this matter, its not even my "opinion" its mere statistics of my purchases and quality/RMAs in last 10 years. needless to say, since i made this post i am now using newest zowie benq wireless mouse and its been working fine, lets see how long it lasts
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Same hand size and but with relaxed claw grip. Really like the EC2. Ec1 forces me in to a full palm so get that if you want palm
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →looks like pincer claw try zowie ec mice
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have 22 cm and vxe R1 is really small in my hands, i suggest you the Zowie EC2
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have several different mice now: atk x1 pro: feels for me like only for finger grip and it's not comfortable, because back of mouse doesn't fit my palm zowie ec2-cw: my hand getting a lot of pain and I don't feel comfortable to play with all my palm on mouse (I want something like claw) sensei raw: just old mouse, tested a bit it yesterday, feels like not high yet for me. logitech g pro x superlight (broken): best overall of above, but it feels like buttons are maybe too high, could be better if they were lower. [https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/157sw3m/what\_mouse\_should\_i\_get\_for\_this\_type\_of\_claw\_grip/](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/157sw3m/what_mouse_should_i_get_for_this_type_of_claw_grip/) Post above looks same for my hand. Can anybody advise me a mouse for my hand?
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I actually have one of those just sitting in the drawer. Didn't like the shape or how damn heavy it is lol I don't mind the weight of my Ec2-b or my Fk1+ which is 90gband 93g I think, but the m65 pro is like 115G I think with the weights and it has that heavy metal body. I'll probably end up giving it away or something Also have the G pro x superlight which is only like 60G. It's a good mouse, probably better for people with smaller or medium small hands The Zowie wired mice are great. Haven't tried the wireless though.. those are a bit expensive
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →depends on ur hand size get zowie ec-dw series 1 and 2
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →ERGO: Zowie EC2 is the gold standard for ergo shapes. Almost every popular ergo mouse has cloned this one, check it out if you haven't. AMBI: Zowie FK1/2 and Logitech GPX. Razer cloned the FK1 shape for the older Viper models and the V3 is a GPX inspired shape.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Ergo: Zowie EC2: my preference is palm and it fits my hand very well for that. I have gained a lot of stability with this mouse (most noticeably in cs) being able to just simply get my crosshair on the target in a more controlled and consistent manner. Symmetrical: GPX/GPX 2: Part of it being it’s the first shape I ever used with the old G pro wireless. But it’s also, for me, the shape/size that offers the most utility. I can palm or claw if I want to, have always had great target tracking on it, ability to hit nasty flicks, while also feeling stable in slower fps games.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I've only used the cw but discounting the weight I prefer the shape of the ec2. Its a little less hand filling and I feel my aim is better but there's nothing in my performance with it. If you can get a cheap xlite though I'd take that. The difference in price just isn't worth it imo.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →The EC2 is medium-large mouse, roughly the same size as the Superlight. EC3 is a better option if the Superlight is too large.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have a ec2-cw, i demoted it for use with my work laptop because of how floaty it is. I could see if you only use wireless you would eventually get used to it.. As I also said they are better than they used to be. However if you go from a wired to wireless there is a clear difference and it is clearly worse. Even if it were just as god as wired mouse in terms of performance, it doesn't make sense to spend twice as much for a product that is at best equivalent in performance. Why pay double for essentially the same thing?
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I don't think the ec1 is good for your hand side and grip. I'm the same size and like the ec2 better with a claw grip. Ec1 is comfy for full palm but always found it terrible for micro adjustments
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →i personally dont like the xm2we(which has the same shape as xm1r) but solely due to the shape, other than that it is a good mouse. depends on what kind of shape you want for your mouse. if you want a safe option, or a mouse with a shape that can accomodate for multiple gripstyles and handsizes, there are many g pro superlight clones that are bascially just as good, such as mchose a7 pro or incott g23 (there are many others). zowie also still sells their wired c-series mice too which are also great options. you could also find some good deals for used options. I personally use the deathadder v3 wired.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →They're both very similar shape wise, maybe EC2 is better since it's a little longer but imo you can't go very wrong that way (same person designed the shape for both mice). r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have 19 x 10cm hands and went from a G502 to an EC2a in 2016 and after a week of constant use found it to be a huge improvement. Zowie might be behind in terms of tech and features but they are still the goats of shape. Plenty of other brands do that ergo shape, but none come close to the feel of the EC. While I don't daily drive that EC2a anymore, I always have my EC3 and camade bungee connected for use when other mice need charging or just for nostalgic comfort. The only thing that is a bummer are Zowie's scroll wheels. They feel pretty cheap and nasty compared to every other manufacturer.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Nice review, many thanks! 👍 Since you have big experience with mentioned mice, maybe you can give an advice. Prehistory: I've been using EC2-A long time ago, comfy, quality, ok - ideal mouse at that time for me.When it started to double click i decided to switch to something else and bought G703. It appears to have too big back hump (I was even thinking to sand paper a bit). After several other changes like g pro x potato stone, xlite v2 mini, now I'm at Xlite v3 eS (pretty decent shape, no surprise, it is almost ec2). I wanna changes again and to top up collection, presently I'm on the crossroad with one highway (EC2-DW) and slight alteration (Pulsar Zywoo). How do you think if increased back hump of zywoo will be a problem? Or it is less hump than g703? Again thanks for review and hope for advice.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Most comfortable? Probably an ergo like an Ec2. But I aim the best with op1 8k
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Looking at your foto it’s probably a palm grip, so I’d recommend either a very safe ambi shape like gpx 2 (many cheaper clones available) or maya x or an ergo like Deathadder v3/v4 pro (hyperspeed if you want smaller), Xlite v4 (es) medium, ec2-dw, e1 or superlight 2 dex
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Absolutely! Ec1 is only good for Palm gripping with 20Cm+ hands. Ec2 with any type of relaxed claw is a much better pick.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I’ve had a zowie ec c series mouse now for years and it hasn’t had any issues
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →If you experience pain or discomfort, you need both rest and recovery. I would advise you to temporarily switch to a trackball like a logitech mx ergo or Kensington slimblade pro for your officework. Also take regular breaks and do strengthening exercises and stretches. Set your desk height properly as well. Switching to a more relaxed grip style as well as temporary setting higher in-game sens will drastically reduce strain on your wrist and hand. With time you should recover and be pain free. Good luck. Ergo shapes depend a lot on your grip style and hand size as well. A safe ergo would be a zowie ec1 dw, or ec2 dw if you want something more mid size.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I've used a Zowie EC2 for almost 6 years now and can highly recommend it
r/QuakeChampions • View on Reddit →I like zowies mice. They recently released wireless ones and I've enjoyed my ec2-cw
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →FWIW I see the 502 suggested for people with big hands but I find the actual width of the part of the mouse you grip is not very large. Lots of things to consider, but I’ve got 20 cm x 11 cm hands and have settled on the DAV3 wired version. I’ve found the mouse width and desired shape (symmetrical vs ergo) to be the most important factors when looking for a mouse. Other mice I’ve tried and liked include the ZOWIE EC2 (look into EC1), Razer DAV2 Pro, and Logitech g403/703. Good luck!
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Ec1 is larger and forces a palm grip even with pretty large hands. Most people will be much better off with the ec2 and if you use relaxed claw it's much better for micro adjustments while still offering a tonne of stability. I use an ec2 with 20x11cm hands and a relaxed claw
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Same as well. Reminds me of my EC2B and having the battery % on the display is super helpful too.
