been using that Utech Venus at the bottom for almost a decade now, Im pretty sure id be completely incapable of swapping at this point

Seconded. I've had mine for years, and it's still doing great.

I replaced my black g600 with a white utechsmart venus pro, I really like it so far! being wireless is nice, though you do lose that 3rd click button. i haven't missed it but i also haven't played mmos in a bit (I also rarely used it in fear of it not working at a crucial moment lol). biggest peeve is that if you have the LEDs turned off you can't tell if the battery is low, but other than that it's great and matches my setup. there's also a red dragon white wireless mmo mouse out there iirc

I got mine online. I have no idea how much they are in physical shops, I just know that I've never seen them locally. I did find out yesterday that other companies have started giving physical indicators. Corsair has a few models with 12 side buttons where the rows are differentiated by one smooth, one with texture, smooth, and then texture for the last row.

Same issue! 13” hands pinky-to-thumb… Oddly enough, UtechSmart Venus. Ordered it to replace my corsair scimitar on a whim, and I actually loved it. Just go ahead and forget about downloading the software, it is a hell of a time getting it to work…

Omg thats the mouse I was about to suggest, been using it for a few years and I dont any complaints besides its hard to clean btu i think all mmo mouses will be.

You're welcome. I've tried a few different MMO mice in my time, and the worst ones were the ones with small side buttons as you were unable to really "blind" use them. This one solves that issue. The alternative is the really expensive MMO mice, where the buttons are all of different sizes and shapes, and spread around so your fingers can tell where they are and what they're touching.

I use redragon m913 really decent mouse i use to have the utechsmart venus gaming mouse but it keep d/cing while charging its a solid mouse too but redragon one dont have that issue mind you both of mines are wireless but they have wired versions if you like that.

Yeah, Venus Pro is still my favorite. I actually have two! I use one with my laptop when traveling. UtechSmart Venus has got me through many many years of MMO gaming at low price point.

Put me down for a Redragon 913. I went from razer naga, naga trinity and then Corsair and all went out within a year. I've had the Redragon for over 2 years, flawless and if it does mess up, well it's cheaper to replace. Oh I did have a utech Venus between the Corsair and Redragon, i just swapped it out because I got a Redragon keyboard and figured I'd match my mouse to it. It was fine as well.

Love my g600. Using the utech venus now and i like it almost as much especially for the price point

It may be on the bottom of the list... But the UTechSmart Venus Pro is the best mouse you can get hands down. Never ever ever waste money on razer. There are various tests that show how poorly they are made with little research.

yeah i have wired and wireless utech venus for like 6 years…solid and cheap (i did buy two more red dragon’s as replacements for button fatigue)

It certainly does feel more tactile since you can feel the slant of the next row. I've no idea how the texture difference works. I know how they mechanically work since they work by touch, and there are many ways the sensory input from touch can be interrupted, while the slanted buttons work by stereognosis, which is the sense to recognise objects by touch alone. Stereognosis is how you can reach into your pocket and identify it by the form it has alone.

I would recommend this Venus MMO mouse. The side buttons on that are planted. This results in that you can feel what button you're at.

I don't use an mmo mouse for BDO but I do use it for my other mmos that require me to use lots of buttons with a hotbar. For that I really recommend this one. It has a certain texture on the practice that keeps the thing from getting giga slippery or such overtime. It's almost like a light sandpaper. Utech one is the best hands down. My wired one crapped out after a few years of heavy use but I got another and that's been going strong for years. I also bought the wireless version for my laptop. Id look no further OP

Yep, they hold up well. I got mine about the same time. It gets probably 35-40 hours of use per week.

I'm seeing this 7 months later lol, but in case someone sees this down the line - ditto on that Utech mouse. I had a terrible experience with the Razer MMO mouse and have sworn off Razer since. I bought the Utech because I needed an MMO mouse and that thing was just an unbelievably good buy. It's still working flawlessly even up until now. I do swap between mice depending on the game, so I imagine that contributed to its longevity, but it's still a surprisingly solid product!

Yes, it has its own interface program where you can set every functionality of it. You can even turn off keys, so that even if you hit them by accident, nothing happens.

Hi, I bought a UtechSmart MMO mouse back in 2021, and I am still using it without any issue so far.

Utech has one like this. Wireless, all white. I've used it for years and it's better than my Razer Naga. Utech Venus Pro for around $30. Redragon M908 is almost identical. I have it too and both are A+

Adding in my support about the Smart Venus Pro, I got it on a whim when my logitech died a couple months ago and I couldn't be happier with it! IMHO worth it for the price plus it comes in pink. I've used Razer Naga, Corsair Scimitar and Logitech G600 so far this has been way better than the naga and the scimitar.

MMO mouses for the win. Though I ventured off brand with U-tech and honestly, no complaints. The driver for it is decent and programmable. I don’t think I can game with a regular mouse again

The materials are different (the utechsmart venus has a more "rubbery" material and Redragon m908 is more "plasticky" material) and the utechsmartvenus is a little smaller and a little lighter. There's also another difference I dunno how to explain. Otherwise yeah they're identical

I also use the Utech Venus. I find most gaming mice too big, but it’s a good size and very responsive. Been using it for almost a year and a half now

Came here to mention UTechSmart as well! I've been using their Venus mouse- it's great with twelve programmable side buttons, two buttons below the scroll wheel (initially set to changing DPI but I've set them to move between button profiles), another one next to the LMB (originally a double click but again can be set to whatever you like), and RGB lights if that's a draw for you. And the fact that it's usually sub $40 with sales and what not is very cool for me.

Utech Venus user here too. I originally had a Razer that died way too quickly…switched to Utech and never looked back

It's pretty good imo. I haven't used them a lot, only 4 or 6 while playing WoW, but never had to complain.

As with other comments, I was also coming to mention the UTECH Venus. There is a wired one for about $30 or wireless for $40 and not only does it have the 12 mouse buttons, it has quick dpi buttons by the scroll wheel to increase or decrease on the fly. Also if you go with the wired version there is a section to add or remove little weights to adjust the feel of moving the mouse. I’ve been using them for the better part of 8yrs and have 3 now. One was an eventual upgrade to from wired to wireless and an additional one to use at work (i work with alot of numbers and in just so used to using it)

I think they are good, for me at least. The angles are helpful to help differentiate between the rows.

The Utech Venus has been excellent since I bought is several years ago. It’s been hard to game with anything else since. Love the 12 buttons for mouse over macros as a pali healer.

I use the Utech Venus Pro, and I have never found another gaming mouse that I like better. The buttons are set at alternating tilted angles so that it's easy to tell in an instant which button your thumb is on. I love it so much that I keep a spare just in case mine gives out. And it's way more affordable than most!

The alternating angle on the side buttons is the game changer. And the higher actuation force than Naga or g600. It's just ideal.
