All the suggestions here are solid, but if you have larger hands like I do, some might not be the best fit. In that case, I’d recommend the Razer Basilisk V3 or the ASUS ROG Spatha X if you’re looking for a mouse with 6+ programmable buttons.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Mine broke after about a year of using it. Admittedly I am rough with my mice. But it would do things like randomly make me look down/up, not register inputs, and not allow me to look around while holding m4/m5
r/OverwatchUniversity • My friend is trying to get me into Overwatch, but I'm not sure if her advice is actually that good. Can anyone offer me some guidance as a beginner? ->I used a razer basilisk v3 hs until I whipped out my a4tech bloody v7 wired... sticking with it for now
r/cs2 • Which is the best for cs 2 ->I run Hestra size 11 or 12 or XXL for US glove sizes. I have various Razer basilisk v3 versions and I'd be interested if there was something bigger, too. I feel like I put pressure on the mouse via the thumb and rest the palm near the index/middle finger joints. The ring and pinkie fingers don't do much. I am older and am a high e-dpi user (say 5.4k in first person shooters). This style might be problematic if I aimed from the elbow and had to do big drags across the mouse pad and pinkie drag.
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->I own a XM2 and V3 pro. Both are fantastic but I main the XM2. The shape is just so good. It's a slightly more aggressive shape than the V3 pro, but it makes it feel like a weapon. I feel pinpoint accurate.
r/MouseReview • Can someone help me decide what mouse to buy? ->You can go for the Razer Cobra. I started using the G502 in 2016, and it stopped working in 2022. After that, I switched to the Razer Basilisk V3, but it stopped working last month. Now I’m back to using the G502, though I’m planning to switch to the PRO X Superlight 2 DEX Wireless.
r/MouseReview • Best budget mouse, available on Amazon worldwide ->I didn’t use the Cobra. I used the Razer Basilisk V3. My aim was somewhat better with the Razer compared to the G502, but I feel like you’ll eventually get used to whatever you use. In future I definitely go with lightweight mouse.
r/MouseReview • Best budget mouse, available on Amazon worldwide ->deathadder v2 is nice I use that one currently. I'm interested in the basilisk wired, I hate wireless for gaming. Too much lag. I had a mamba chroma b4 it was good but had to fix the wheel twice. Deathadder hasn't let me down yet and I like that I can reprogram the DPI keys
r/razer • Which mice you guys recommend for people with very largue hands? ->Do not get the razer v3. The scroll wheel is known for bugging. I have one and with jump bound to scroll I randomly start jumping around in game. Allegedly the v4 fixed this issue but I went back to my v2 and love it.
r/cs2 • Which is the best for cs 2 ->I had a Razer Basilisk V3 which I loved the shape but unfortunately backwards scroll was super annoying and I ended up changing to a Alphyn AM10 from PowerColor. Pretty happy with it, I had used it previously at a friends and was quite surprised so I ended up swapping my V3.
r/MouseReview • What Gaming Mouse Should I Buy? ->I really like my basilisk v3
r/wow • I analyzed 1 year of gaming mouse recommendations on Reddit (Nov 2024–2025). These are the top 20 ones on r/wow ->Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is now at 5.5. Over your budget by 500 rupees, but that's what I'd get. I don't suppose you can tell me your table dimensions? 😅
r/mkindia • View on Reddit →Generally mice that are more open. The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people. The EC1 shape is good for working because it's super relaxed. But I aim better with the FK1 XL shape, Viper and similar works great too - less comfortable though.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Currently own both. Based on experience, V3 Pro is better for fps games but the ‘playing safe’ ergonomics of the Superlight makes it a good all-rounder for me (gaming & work tasks)
r/buildmeapc • View on Reddit →My dad used to have an older Deathadder, he used that thing for at least 6 years if not more. My Basilisk V2 lasted 9 months and my warranty Basilisk V3 scroll wheel wouldn't click in after 6 months... My Blackshark V2 headset is kind of shitty as well (USB DAC will randomly drop out). I think that the older Razer stuff was built with actual longevity in mind.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →Razer are terrible especially in the mouse game. I have a Basilisk Ultimate wireless and it has major problems with the scroll wheel and phantom/missed scrolls. Many people have reported it and it’s all down to cheap hardware with no fix available. I’d go Logitech G series if you want a gaming mouse?
r/logitech • View on Reddit →I am using the Basillisk v3 for single player games, it's really good. You can also consider the vxe r1 if you are into esports titles.
r/Indiangamers • View on Reddit →Do not get the razer v3. The scroll wheel is known for bugging. I have one and with jump bound to scroll I randomly start jumping around in game. Allegedly the v4 fixed this issue but I went back to my v2 and love it.
r/cs2 • View on Reddit →oof that sucks, I bought a Razer Basilisk Ultimate in 2021 that's still going strong. Before this though I had a Corsair Ironclaw where the mousewheel shaft snapped after about a year. Replaced under warranty but the replacement had the stupid double clicking issue. I really liked that mouse it was chunky and heavy but I think it's the only mouse I've ever owned that I felt fit well in my hand.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →It is crazy to me the cult like following this mouse continues to have, and I maimed this mouse for like 3 years from 2017-2020. The extra buttons are cool, but man there are so many better mice out there, that are so much lighter. If you want a wired mouse try the op18k it’s the best fps mouse in existence, probably. Lots of ergo mice out there, from death adder to zywoo to superlight to vaxee If you’re stuck on this shape you might try the basilisk But really you’ll just probably be happiest with another 502.
r/G502MasterRace • View on Reddit →Not sure what you mean I own 3 Razer mice and don't have the double click, but do get a weird sound from time to time when clicking from my Basilisk v3 Pro (it doesn't create a double click though). I have owned Razer mice for 5 + years and never experienced it with the 4 models I have owned and the current 3 I still own.
r/logitech • View on Reddit →I have to say, while I like the MX Master 4, I think the Basilisk v3 Pro is a better mouse (I’m lucky to have both). The Master has a nicer scroll wheel which I like, but Basilisk is more comfortable, has better performance, more consistent click feel, etc. And Razer finally has Mac mouse software again, so you can use it on Macs too. Again, I like the MX Master 4, but Basilisk v3 Pro is my favorite mouse. And I’m not even talking about gaming - it’s the best productivity mouse for me.
r/logitech • View on Reddit →I also made the same choice after doing a lot of research and waiting in mouse and keyboard section lf tech shops for hours. Only problem I see with Razer is its USB-A dongle. Other than that, it is a perfect mouse both for gaming and productivity.

All I was looking for is a mouse with infinite scrolling, tri-mode connectivity and a decent sensor (that can be used for gaming as well) You'd be surprised that there's only 2 mice that I know off that fit the bill - Basilisk V3 Pro (maybe even V3 idk) and Keychron M6.
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →I was skeptical but tried and now love the Lamzu Maya X. Just the right size/shape. Super light. Button press is just right. Also tried the Viper Razer Pro v3 and the top Logitech. Jared the Logitech, Razer Pro V3 was also excellent.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →whatever you are buying, buy mouse grip tape for them and paste it over the default grip or the plastic, either it wears off if u play FPS games or the mouse doesn't stick. I have the basilisk v3 pro, it's expensive. You can try logitech's cheaper ones, you can try Viper v3 for mid range, deathadder. I used the G102 for almost 5 yrs, it's wired & basic but works just as well (more on that in the BEWARE section below) Slightly more budgety one would be G304/305 variants, great value and buy a mouse grip tape to paste on top to give u the premium feel and grip if u might want to compromise with the wireless part, i suggest Razer Basilisk V3, the pro is wireless which is what i have, but the wired is incredible value with a shit ton of features that YOU WILL USE which makes it totally worth it. BEWARE: Cheaper logitech mouses have double clicking issues after a while, some don't most do. I had a G102 which did, i bought mouse switches and soldered them on to it, since then, it's absolutely superb.
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →I have been using this Razer Basilisk V3 for many years. Held up great over the years I use it for fast paced shooters like: CSGO 2 and COD BO6 it still performs great.
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →As other people mentioned: Logitech superlight Razer viper v3 pro Razer deathadder v3 pro (fakers mouse) And i think the g 605 and razer basilisk also have a few users
r/leagueoflegends • View on Reddit →Superlight 2 or Razer Viper V3 Pro. Seriously, just get one of these and try it. They're the safest option and what most e-sports professionals use. Think Counterstrike 2 and Valorant. Of course they work great for everything but there's a reason the pros use these. The Razer Basilisk V3 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used but yeah, it's heavy. 110g heavy. The Razer Viper V3 I just got is about half that.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have it. But I’m not an expert, I just really like it.
r/razer • View on Reddit →both v3 pro and scyrox v8 8k. But using Scyrox full time for gaming now due to 1/3 weight.
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →Yes it's good i have it too no issues and i bought like 2 years ago almost 3
r/razer • View on Reddit →I’m actually using the wired version of the basilisk v3 as my backup right now. The scroll wheel is kind of broken (thanks to my toddler), it basically clicks the mmb anytime I tap the mouse back down on the desk. While it’s a good mouse, only complaint i have is the lack of a way to change dpi, and of course the price for the wireless one. $158 on amazon is pretty steep. The glorious on is a lot more feasible at $70, and I might go with that depending on others suggestions.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →The Basilisk v3 Pro I have owned since it launched. The best way I view it is as a hybrid mouse. It can serve as a productivity mouse and as a gaming mouse. It weighs 112 grams so much lighter than MX Master series. It is smaller in height and width, not as ergonomic as my MX 3s. It has a cool charging feature a magnetic stand you place it on (innovative and works great). There is a magnetic disk you insert on the bottom of the mouse that allows it to work with the magnetic charging stand. You can also use the USB C port on the front of the mouse to charge it as well, (think on the go). Hybrid because you can use it for both gaming and productivity. A true gamer won't like the weight for certain games. It also offers 3 side buttons which you could compare to the MX 4. The buttons can all be mapped. Below is a reference to the 3s and you can see the magnetic charging stand in the background and the dongle with the USB connector. https://preview.redd.it/9l8xcgr114uf1.jpeg?width=1575&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e7160eafe9a1ce47c81b87536f29ded81854f6f
r/logitech • View on Reddit →I have my Razer mouse and keyboard from 12 years ago. I really want to replace my keyboard with a newer one, but it just feels so good. I just have had enough of the green RGB haha. Bought the Razer low profile mechanical as it was on sale and returned it. Battery life was mediocre and the RGB setting did not work wirelessly. Bought a Razer Basilisk V3 (non pro) as it was also cheap and it's alright so far. Wanted to have wireless peripherals, so my 2013 deathadder and BlackWidow would retire, but I just cannot find anything worth replacing them with. Would probably get a Keychron QMax series, but they are expensive in Canada. No software is a big win. Razer, Asus ROG, SteelSeries, etc will all have a good product here and there, but they often need their bloated spyware installed.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →same as you OP but the side buttons are having issues, I bought mine like 1 and a half years ago
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →I have had the Razer Basiilisk V3 Pro for about 3 years and no problems with the software but the mouse itself is physically breaking. for a mouse standpoint they are ehhh, but i prefer replacing more often than dealing with a software that is so bad it won't let you use it IMO
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →this goes for 99% of video games you cant go wrong with a g502 (or if you prefer razer, one of deathadder viper or basilisk will suit you)
r/WorldOfWarships • View on Reddit →I wouldn't call Razer jank. I have owned and used quite a lot of mice from Logitech gaming (g502, retired) to the 3 and own 2 MX 3s. I also have 3 Razer mice. * Razer Basilisk v3 Pro (previous was the Gen 1 Ultimate version which I owned as well)-> hybrid mouse between productivity and gaming, more on the heavier side vs traditional Razer mice. Intelligent charging setup (magnetic base charging) and the comes with a dongle and USB connector that is interesting. * Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming (travel or out of my home office, mostly collects dust in a drawer now) * Razer Viper Ultimate (gaming mouse, lightweight and my go to for that) Neither companies' software is ideal, though Razer's latest release (still bloated) is better than the prior version. I prefer the MX 3s for productivity working, and Basilisk 3 for casual use, browsing, some gaming, if my Viper is charging or I want to go with a heavier feel mouse.
r/logitech • View on Reddit →I would go for the Razer Basilisk V3 it’s what I have and what I bought my little brother for Christmas I found one on eBay for 20$
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →If she has medium to large hands then Razer basilisk v3 wired is one of the best mouse
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Yeah same, I now use a Basilisk V3 Pro at home, and will probably switch the one at work to a Basilisk V3 Hyperspeed, they're pretty great mice, and have the same feel as the G502, except with a magnetic scroll wheel, and bluetooth connectivity
r/G502MasterRace • View on Reddit →It affects battery life too much since most people are turning towards wireless. There are still some mice like G502 X Plus with lines on its back or one of the Razer Basilisk even has it on the sides so it shines on the mousepad.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Are you sure your hands are average size? 😂 V1 and V3, never had a problem
r/razer • View on Reddit →I'm using exact same one. No complains
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →Not sure if you want to but you could look up used mice as well. I managed to get mice like the G502 X, Basilisk V3, DeathAdder V2/V3 for under 30$ each (usually 1.5-2x the price new around here so it might not be an option for you). I thought the thumb rest was a necessity for me as well but in the end the DeathAdder shape is what fits my hand perfectly.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →MChose consistently has weird names so that doesn’t really matter. The 3395 is not a bad sensor at all, it’s not a 3370 or a 3335. A Basilisk clone that’s 55g, accurate, and 4K compatible seems right up your alley. Shape wise it’s about a millimeter smaller all around. Though you could just wait for Razer to drop a Basilisk V4 Pro in 3 years for $299.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Same bro it’s the best mouse I ever used
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →I actually used a vertical mouse prior to using my Basilisk v3, I tell you; I have way more kills and skillshots in Battlefield 1 using that vertical mouse over the Basilisk.
r/razer • View on Reddit →Still rocking one of the older models of the Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed. The thing refuses to die.

That’s what I’m saying. The V4 pro should be indestructible at that price range but it’s literally just a marginally better V3 pro and that mouse isn’t even obsolete yet
