It's a great mouse with awful software. All pros use GproMemory manager instead of the full software. It will add mouse acceleration sectetly. I actually went from a G Pro to a G pro superlight and now I'm back to a G Pro because I prefer a little more weight on my mouse.

G703. You have large hands. Best buy runs sales every week on different mice. This week is the superlight 2 SE. It's the superlight 2 just without the 8k polling rate dongle. Switching to a superlight would probably throw you off. Not sure how often you use the extra buttons on the 502 or switch DPI. I used a G602 for a long time thinking I needed 8 buttons. Now a G pro X. Aim is significantly better and I don't need to have my DPI at 2000 to 360. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to, I use the free steel series mouse trainer.

I'm surprised you've had scrollwheels die on you. I play apex regularly using scroll wheel for jumping and tap strafing with a WL Sword X magnesium for a year and I've yet to experience any issues. I also like the fact that they don't require a program to be downloaded to change mouse settings and is just a web portal. Your experience may differ but I found it way better than my Deathadder V3, Superlight 1 and 2 as well as Razer Viper. It isn't the lightest mouse around, but I have larger hands and it fits well with claw grip for me personally.

For a medium-sized, symmetrical wireless with good battery life under $120, I'd look at the Logitech G Pro X Superlight (if you find it on sale) or the Pulsar X2. Both are great for claw grip and popular for FPS. If you want something cheaper, the Logitech G305 is still solid and lasts forever on a single battery. All come in black too.

It's claw, if you don't know what grip it's always claw. You either know if your entire palm rests on the mouse or if only your fingertips touch it. My hand is about the same size and I use claw. Used the G Pro X Superlight for years until scroll died (upgrading switches and encoder now to bring it back to life) but I picked up the Epomaker Click on Amazon about $55 it's almost the same size and shape as the GPX and build quality feels great I've had no issues with it so far. I will say def upgrade it with some good dots because the stock skates are very thin and cause some drag.

It's like I don't see the appeal of a 3s either and some are already drooling over the 4 I mean sure it's a good mouse, but radically over hyped like most logi stuff or other as well That said I replaced the scroll encoder on my second hand gprox superlight because it was cheaper than any other mouse... I still had this stuck in my head from the past, that Logitech means something...and even if they are still among the top, it's definitely more about the brand than quality nowadays, shame I like the rise of alternatives even if most are hit and miss, still well worth experimenting, exploring.

Currently own both. Based on experience, V3 Pro is better for fps games but the 'playing safe' ergonomics of the Superlight makes it a good all-rounder for me (gaming & work tasks)

so you know better than me what was my issue with certain mouse? im not the only one who noticed that in GPX 2, consistent and safe shape is not good for everyone because as i said whenever i put my hand on the mouse it felt different. If something doesnt feel the same in my hand than few minutes ago when i grab my mouse im not going to get used to it. Its delusional take to think that my overthinking was the problem and not the mouse shape. It has nothing to do with psychological discomfort, its like walking too small shoes, this is not going to get comfortable, it just doesnt fit the same way mouse may not fit your hand. It wouldnt take 2 years if that was just the matter of psychological comfort, i would get used to it after few months max. Besides i tried every possible grip on that mouse and none of them felt consistent so your argument about a mouse that force certain grip is wrong.

Yeah, shape and coating is important for sure. Even though the shape of the D2pro is slightly worse for me (but very comparable) and the coating absoluteley sucks compared to the Zowie, I'm still better playing with it. I just dislike the feel of something heavy. For me it's just that I need to hold the mice a tiny bit stronger than usual and that impedes my accuracy. I'm gripping very very light usually, the less my fingertips are pressed, the more feel I have. That's just my reasoning for it. That's the reason why I perform way better with grip tape, but I don't use it because I don't like the feel and only play recreationally once in a while. My favourite coating was the one of the Viper V2 pro I had. Felt good for work but grip wasn't bad either. The scroll wheel sucked though... I remember an era where I put weights into my Roccat Kone XTD and Logitech G9, but the moment I tried a G Pro Ultralight I couldn't go back. Just a personal preference, but a slightly less comfortable shape is easier to adjust too for me than 30g more.

I think that might be your problem my guy... the super light 1 is notorious for having double clicking and scroll issues, along with a decent amount of Logitech's line tbf, glorious mice are not worth bothering with with like 1 or 2 exceptions, and I've never heard of the scabies axe haha. All likely (I'm assuming anyway) using older mech switches for the clicks.

bro read again what you wrote and think twice about it because what you said have 0 sense. He stated that mouse shape doesnt matter because he will eventualy get used to it if the mouse is decent, i contradicted that saying that in 2 years playing with a popular mouse i couldnt get used to it. What his experience with mice (btw what mice?) has to do with that case? We are not talking about his experience, it has nothing to do with the topic. How my argument isnt valid when i literally disproved what he said by my example when mouse after 2 years of usage didnt feel well in my hand?? I literally have right to invalidate his argument because he knows jack shit about my experience with that mouse, he dont know how i used this mouse, what i tried and he tells me that i dont understand how to use this mouse and its in my head lol You have to be delusional to think that his argument is valid. btw i found a video of tenz who has literally the same issue with that mouse as me lol: [https://youtu.be/4goEvcsMrfc?si=4j7rYE4st69ngvoB](https://youtu.be/4goEvcsMrfc?si=4j7rYE4st69ngvoB) My case invalidate that claim because its not universal truth that somebody is going to get used to whatever shape mouse has lol.

thats bad advice and i cannot agree xd i used to play on GPX for 2 years and i never get used to it. Everytime i put my hand on that mouse i felt like im holding it differently. It started affecting my performance because i was overthinking it. Switched to ergo and immediately i started to feel my mouse like an extension of my hand asking myself why i didnt change it sooner.

I am having the same issue, i had the pulse fire haste for a while not and thought an upgrade was in store. I bought the Pulse fire Haste 2 and returned it due to an apparent sensor issue. It would change sensitivity thought out playing. Idk if it was sensor or connectivity but apparently this has been plaguing this mouse for 2 plus years and hyper x hasn't fixed it so I think I'm done with hyper x. Which sucks cause I really liked the feel of the Haste 2 Wireless. I just got the super light and idk if I like it. It's bigger and not the same form factor. Not a big fan of the side buttons either. Thinking about trying the super light 2c and seeing if smaller is better. I don't have big hands so it might workout. Only issue is the crazy price, but I have no idea what to do after this.

I've used these gpros since 2019 and these superlights are fantastic. But again after a lot of research there's way cheaper options out there. I'm just use to this, I've tried a few brands. I think the first drop of the glorious mouse was fantastic. But I haven't tried their new tech.

just because pros and many people use this mouse it doesnt mean that this argument has any value, its all about personal preference and some people may have a preference to not like this shape and no matter how you describe it doesnt change that fact. I never said its bad mouse i just said it doesnt fit to my hand no matter what i tried over long period of time and choosing a mouse should be based on comfort. Shape is king for a reason. Your whole argumentation is only assumptions about me or my understanding lol this is literally making things up to fit your narrative. You dont know anything about me. Sorry but this is top level delusion and low level argumentation. If you cannot provide any argument about my issue with this shape without assuming anything about me then i dont see any reason to continue this conversation because its all made up bs without any credibility.

I've gone through a lot of mice over the years and I'm convinced it's mostly purely personal preference regarding how it fits your hand. My top three are the Kone Pro, G703, and Logitech Pro, but I don't even see two of those on the list. It's such a personal decision that asking for suggestions on Reddit is akin to asking strangers to tell you what pants will fit you best.

As a GPX1 user I can say that there are equal or better mice for half the price. ATK or VXE will sort you out for around 40-50 USD, or for a bit cheaper even. It was a cool mouse in 2020, if you wanted to pay the premium. Nowadays for that price range I guess Razer or Lamzu would be better. There are a few brands that are priced better while being on par feature-wise. What matters the most is shape and texture. 10-20 grams lighter/heavier won't matter if you don't feel comfortable deploying your weapon of choice. edit: grammar

Yes and no. If your mouse is complete shit, you'll notice it immediately but if you have a half decent mouse, from that point onwards, upgrades in sensor quality etc are fairly negligible. Shape is more important than anything. Players had monster aim even 20 years ago with mice from that era. Lower weight is nice, higher polling rate is nice etc but none of those are gonna make you a noticeably better player. I've used many high end mice. My current main is a Viper V3 Pro but I've also won tournaments with a cheap ass G102. Difference in performance was honestly not much. Besides, personal preference matters a lot. The GPX is widely regarded as a high end mouse with a safe shape but it's literally unusable for me. The shape and coating make it slip out of my hand way too much.

I don't have much time for research on what to get for my hand and not much budget to trial and error buy. I don't know if they build mice with durability in mind anymore. I average a new mouse each year at this rate. I've owned the G502, Roccat Tyon, Glorious Model O, Logitech Superlight, Superlight 2 Dex, Deathadder V4 pro... One or two others I have forgot about. The only mice on that list that didn't cause me any issues were the G502 & Roccat Tyon. So every lightweight mouse I have owned has developed issues. Just seems to be how these increasingly absurd lightweight mice are. The Superlight decided to develop an annoying double click on one or more buttons, same with the Superlight 2 Dex. I'm permanently done with Logitech after that. The Deathadder V4 is my first ever Razer product, so wish me luck. EDIT: Small rant, but 60-80grams is perfectly fine for a mouse. Why the fuck do they use weight as a marketing thing, nobody needs a sub 50 gram mouse. Using half the materials just screams "I will break much quicker".
