If we're going for the exact same shape, with a modern experience, then yes, Mchose G3 would be your best bet The g304 was my first mouse, moved to a gpx superlight when I realized I needed bigger mice for my hand, now on an ATK X1 Ultra but might move to a kysona Jupiter pro when they have some in stock

For a medium-sized, symmetrical wireless with good battery life under $120, I'd look at the Logitech G Pro X Superlight (if you find it on sale) or the Pulsar X2. Both are great for claw grip and popular for FPS. If you want something cheaper, the Logitech G305 is still solid and lasts forever on a single battery. All come in black too.

If double clicking is the only issue, the G305 has both the OEM/Third party switches to solder on or even easier are $15 boards that have these newer switches pre-soldered so it's a plug and play type situation

I have a g305, which has been my only mouse, but now the right click is failing. I have pretty small hands, and don't really have a preferred grip type. I also mainly use my mouse for gaming. I have looked at some mice, and the 2 that have stood out to me were the VGN F1 Moba and the VXE R1 Pro Max. I have seen that the main differences are the shape and the moba uses Huano switches while the R1 uses Kailh. I am also open to other suggestions, but don't want to go over ~60 unless it makes a large difference.

I think OP1 series from Endgamegear could be an answer. Other than that, try Waizowl's Cloud XS. It a Kinzu-like mouse in terms of shape. Have you tried egg-shaped mice as well? Aside from Logitech G304/305 and possibly other variants, Corsair does make mice with the same shape called Katar Elite Wireless.

Bought this mouse like 6 months ago, and I love it. Really smooth glide, responsive buttons, and the click wheel is the most satisfying of any mouse I've ever used. It's on the smaller side, but I've got pretty big hands and it hasn't been a problem for me.

I love having one of these around. Safe shape, no nonsense design and affordable. An easy recommendation for someone new to gaming mice without trying to look at all the $30 Chinese mice that have come out the last couple of years.

Yah I got the 720 just when I needed a wireless mouse and it was the only decent lookin one at Wal-Mart lol. But this 305 was sub-30 bucks on sale so I said why not and I really like it so far. Nothing fancy, but I do like the feel even if the actual mouse itself feels....very cheap plastic.

Logitech G305 and a CHERRY KW X ULP. I wanted a low profile wireless keyboard and a mouse with good range and tracking. I game sitting a decent way from the computer on a large 4k tv. The keyboard is one of my favorite I have ever used.

Yea, I figured. I currently main the G305/G203-shaped mice in fingertip only mode. Older mice like those Steelseries Kana type of shapes you could transition between fingertip and claw with zero effort, so I feel like a lot of these new mouse shapes are just bad in general because you can easily make a shape that supports both fingertip and claw with little drawback.

If you can afford, the pulsefire haste 2 is the best in this list. Most bang for buck is the g304. hero sensor, 40g accel and 400 ips speed. Been using it for a year now. Its a bit on the heavier side but there are tons of mods available, stl files for honeycomb shell etc. i just switched to a lighter and smaller AAA battery and used some solder wire in a creative way, reduced the weight to nearly 65g. Edit - the double click issue for the right click is real, but its very rare for me atleast, once every few days i get that. Just informing, do what you will with this information Edit 2 - Don't focus much on polling rate and dpi. 1000hz polling rate in enough. Any more is just gimmick unless you are atleast a tier 2 pro and need the absolute best equipment. Dpi count doesn't really matter, all gaming mice have sufficient range. The really important parameters to watch out for are acceleration and tracking speed in IPS (inches per second). How fast you can move your mouse before it stops registering inputs. I previously used a cosmic byte mouse which had 20g accel and 60 ips. And the mouse would just stop registering when i flicked fast (valorant) and with my g304 i physically can't make the mouse do that however fast i try to flick or move, It doesn't miss. Atleast 200ips and 30g accel i would recommend for any fps shooter or fast paced platformer or soulslike title. Make an informed purchase by yourself based on these parameters.

Diamond 4 in r6, lem in cs with G304. Its good, you wont notice any difference compared to wired, plus no wire drag. In my 4 years my g304 is yet to double click, its still good as new.

been using G304 since 2022, last year double click issues started and now it is beyond tolerable and simply unusable, some get the issue after 4-5 years, some get in months, I got mine a few months after the warranty died.

You hear a lot about Logitech mice but I didn't really like my G305 Lightspeed. Buttons felt like they had far too much travel and far too little resistance. I found myself hitting them when I didn't intend to and when I did want to hit them, sometimes I didn't press deep enough and it wouldn't click. Just my experience, maybe I bought the wrong Logitech mouse 🤷♂️ I've had plenty of mice in my hand, granted only a couple gaming mice, and I can't say I've liked the feel of any besides the SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless. It doesn't feel perfect, and I'm still looking for something that does feel perfect, but until I find an option around this price point, I'm going to keep buying these. I drove my first one straight into the grave with an absurd amount of hours. Straight-up unemployed type hours. I'm now on my second and I still like it. It works, it's cheap, and the software is functional 🤷♂️ Can't ask for much more than that imo Edit: Fun fact, I actually use an Elite Series 2 in my left hand for movement, instead of a keyboard lol. (No I don't get assist)

Never had a gaming mouse before, so I bought it based on this threads responses. This thing is so much faster than the M720 I've been using as an all purpose basic one. I didn't expect to feel a stark difference since it's not like it's an expensive mouse, and hopefully it's not a placebo effect. But it does feel better now that I went into the HUB and upped the DPI a bit

Another way of looking at this is saying that true egg mice like the g305 have mirror-symmetric spherical geometry (always positive curvature), which is really great for providing grip and a base of control that will scale the more tightly you grip without causing any shifting or readjustment in your hand placement or tension. That latter point's probably the reason why the Orochi never worked for me, even though people call it an egg shape, because it was too short **and** the left side has negative curvature while the right side was almost totally flat, which caused a twisting motion when squeezing from both sides. Shape and surface texture go hand in hand. You shouldn't need to squeeze just to grip a mouse, but if your skin's too slippery for the mouse's surface texture then the true egg shape's the best hands down.

None of these hold a candle to the R1. Waiting for the restock is worth it. Chimera has QC issues, V2x was too heavy for me even with an AAA battery which is what made me shift to the orochi. G304 is fine but R1 is better.

I used G304 for 5-6 years and I thought I love the mouse cus I bought another of it when the first one die out, until I actually try a mouse that's actually decent. I tried to go back to g304 and I just can't. it's so heavy and the sensor suck ball. so if you ever want to try a new mouse with different weight, I recommend Scyrox V6. it's a bit pricy but if you want something else a bit cheaper, I'm sure ATK got something for you. you can get wireless mouse with good sensor as little as 30-40$ I think. I also recommend you to try out extreme light weight mouse cus when you got to it, there is no getting back. trust.

If you're looking for something more budget and not over $100 I recommend the Logitech G305, great weight and responsiveness, just don't slam your mouse when you get mad and you'll have a great mouse for a while. Only complaint I have thus far is the switches on M1 has gotten a bit lighter and sometimes leads to accidental clicking.

I had my G304 switches replaced under 9months due to double clicking issue. Buy anything else but this. From Omron switches to TTC Gold 80M its a day and night difference. It like driving a shitbox from Hyundai to straight Nissan GTR. Ngl the bottom glides got f'ed up in the process so it drives like Toyota Corolla.

I have a 19x10cm hand and I use the VXE Mad R Major. Absolutely love it, I feel it is plenty larger enough, I don't like fingertip grip and thank God the mouse is big enough so I don't need to use fingertip grip. I use a relax claw type grip. I come from a Logitech G305 and altough it is comparable size, I did not like its grip, I needed to use too much of a fingertip grip style as compared to the VXE Mad R Major.

Logitech isn't shit. It's just okay for a high price. In some products they pretty much are the best. \- MX Keys keyboard is one of the best scissor keyboards. \- MX Master 3 is the gold standard for a productivity mouse. Then on the pretty good front: \- G305 is a fine mouse \- G502 is a fine product line. there are clones shapewise, but none of them is necccesarily superior. And in the OEM bargain category, a logitech cheapo mouse/keyboard pretty much beat the alternatives HP and Dell give with their computers. So all in all, Logitech is not exactly shit, it's just meh.

Honestly. If you prefer very good aim and pro eSports level gaming then DO NOT BUY THE Logitech g304. Never ever but it for competitive gaming. I am using one and here are the reasons, bad ergonomics (at least for me), bad weight distribution, the entire weight comes to the back because of the battery and it feel really heavy when you're lifting or moving mouse while aiming. Overall it sucks for competitive gaming otherwise it's decent.
