I mained the fenrir asym for 3 months and it was the worst decision to sell it to buy a OP1 8k V2. The fenrir asym is the best mouse that I have ever used. The pinky rest gives you so much stability if done right, it's miles ahead of any full size mouse and offers more mobility. I have ordered a new one

the OP1 is the best full size mouse in my opinion. The weight, the quality, the clicks are all top tier and especially the shape is great. The thing is that the Asym offers a lot more freedom and together with the sensor position it's night and day. With "if done right" I mean that you need to place the grip tape correctly and put your pinky to the corner of the bulge. this mouse stands and falls with grip tape placement since it's uncoated and you need good grip for pure ftip.

If you want pure fingertip grip, then go for it. If you have a 3D printer, print up the shapes (there is an online database of all the mice somewhere, use that to find the mice you're looking at and trial the shapes) and find out for yourself which one you want the most. If you still want the hump, then the Pulsar X2 mini is what I'd recommend (easily the best fingertip mouse I've ever touched, though I do use the hump as a rest when being lazy and browsing YouTube, not having it wouldn't be the end of the universe though). As far as grips go, it's honestly so hard to predict what you'll love and hate. Some people find the hump on the asym mice absolutely game-changing for all the right reasons. Others find it "game-changing" for all the wrong reasons. If you have the free cash (and no 3D printer) get both Fenris mice since you'll never know whether you want the asymmetric hump or not until you try it. Otherwise, I would recommend the X2F since it's taking an already amazing fingertip mouse shape (that's known to be unanimously amazing for everyone) and making it a pure fingertip grip mouse shape. It's definitely the safest option here. Personally I don't really find height to be all that impactful ngl, but do note that as the weight decreases, each gram becomes exponentially more noticeable. I mean holding 1 gram vs 2 grams is noticeable since that's a doubling in weight, so although the difference between a 130 gram mouse and a 100 gram mouse is not very noticeable, the difference between a 40 gram mouse and a 20 gram mouse is huge. That being said, shape is more important than weight, and if the shape is wrong for you, a 20 gram mouse will feel heavier (in the hand, plot twist our body doesn't use grams to measure the weight of objects, so the shape actually has more impact on the "felt weight" than the actual physical weight itself) than a 40 gram mouse if it's the wrong shape for you. So when it comes to the Gwolves mice you're gambling that they're the right shape for you. I mean nothing is stopping you from buying them, and there is a larger chance that they'll be an amazing shape for you than anything. But if you're pressed for cash and buying multiple new mice isn't in-store for you, the X2F is guaranteed to be an amazing shape and definitely the "safe" option.

One cause of instability can be in game nerves/tension messing with the mechanics (which isnt as apparent with larger mice). At least it is for me, it takes me at least 3-4 games before i start relaxing more and locking in (without tension) and the benefits of the mouse really comes through. With that said, i am one of those that rotate the Fenrir Asym in and out, but its more of a comfort thing. When browsing, editing, or just playing really relaxed games precision is not really the highest priority and i might just want to rest my entire hand on something. That doesnt mean i dont perform my best with the Asym and fingertip mice are a gimmick, it just means it's a very specific (and fun!) tool for a specific purpose rather than a swiss army knife i use for everything.

Imma join the choir and sing gospel to the fingertip goat Fenrir Asym, it just has the right things prioritised. Super low clickheight: CHECK. Extra width where needed for comfort: CHECK. Weight in proportion to size: CHECK. Light clicks: CHECK.

I'll also chime in and say that, as someone with basically the same hand size, I love my fenrir asym. I started with the viper mini -> orochi -> fan tech aria xd7, finger tip grip on all of them, but switching to a finger tip mouse was awesome, to the point now where It feels uncomfy and clunky to use a full sized mouse. The asym is also a noticeable upgrade from the HSK line ( I mained a HSK pro for a couple years), the larger size feels much better and the shape is better IMO. It's certainly the case that the type of mouse is a love or hate kind of situation, but as a finger tip grip main it's a godsend. I'll also add I hard disagree that the mouse isn't meant for tac FPS' (a common sentiment I've seen). I've maintained immortal 3 in Val for a while with this mouse shape, feels great. Again, certainly personal preference but i dont think the shape is inherently bad, just how it suits you personally

Budget Darmshark m5 / keychron m4 / hsk plus mini (budget gwolves option Premium X2F, largest 'ftip' mouse, and can be a solid entryway into ftip if you don't mind the weight Wlmouse Miao and Hsk pro 4k, probably the best safe ftip mice due to shape and size being perfect for beginners and pros Fenris asym, this one is hard to recommend for first time ftip due to its odder shape but if you love it you realllly love it (I love mine)

almost same hand here, 20.8x10.7 I use the hsk pro 4k and the fenris asym, that are the 2 smallest mice available. embrace fingertip. also, that measure is like 90% standard percentile. Unless you can hold a basketball with your palm and not drop it, your hands are average.

Where are all these cheap fingertip mice on the market? Keychron M4 is $40 for 1k polling, $55 for 4K and $65 for 8k. G Wolves HSK Plus Light is $60 to 70 USD, with a last gen sensor and 1K polling. (still fine IMO, but not apples to apples) That's ALL of the commercially available; wireless, ***fingertip specific***, gaming mice with decent sensors under $100 USD\* that I am aware of. Two shape options under $100, just two while being generous with the 'cheap categorization. Under $50 there is only one and it's an overspec travel mouse from a keyboard brand. Between $100 & 200 USD the market has more options; Pulsar X2F, Gwolves HSK Pro and Fenrir models, WlMouse Miao and I think the ZeroMouse Blade comes in under $200 as well. These are priced in the premium range for gaming mice overall. That said, availability is far from good even in the more populated premium tier or used on Ebay. Many of the mentioned models are often out of stock. Total, excluding OptimumTech and very small bespoke makers, that is a grand total of what, 7 or 8 total shapes? Larger than it was, but still a VERY small market unless you include mice than are friendly to fingertip, but relatively full sized. *\*Yeah, that was a mouthful, but just trying to make a distinction between all the tiny mice that are super common, but not at all intended or spec'ed for competitive gaming, like the Logitech M317/pebble/ect.*

I actually prefer my HTR Pro. I find the pinky rest on the asym gets in the way, so I'm going to add extra layers of grip tape to that side to make it wider and flat. Fantastic mouse though, and a lot of people will prefer that pinky rest.

I love mine, I main it since june. If I could change on thing about the design, and this one is an unpopular opinion, I would remove the side buttons. That's exactly where I like to grip the mouse, with some grip tape on it. I have 14 dot skates on it on an artisan hien mid. tracking feels effortless but precise. Scrollwheel is a mess though, every now and then a scroll up becomes a scroll down and vice versa, thought about returning it for that but I just don't want wait for weeks to get it back.

18x9,5cm hand size, after many, many mices i had, tried the G-Wolves Feneir Asym and I fell in love with it. Before I enjoyed a lot: - LAMZU Atlantis Mini (the 4k and upgraded later to champions edition) - Razer Deathadder v3 hyperspeed (for a short period) - Zaopin Z2 Mini (I was performing incredibly well with it and it's cheap enough for you to try)

Most people find it comfortable, so there's really no need to change things up. They would probably make a new color variation than make a shape that's gonna satisfy a small portion of the community. That said, there are promising products like Orbital Pathfinder, or G-wolves with their clay kit. Even if those aren't within your reach, you can still try things out with a grip tape. It'll help with the positioning and the grip itself, letting you hold the move effortlessly.

My endgame doesn't really exist. Endgame mouse: fenris asym, but made of carbon fiber. Endgame keyboard: an ergodox, but with the features of a wooting, and with the acoustics of a standard form-factor luxury keyboard (gasket mounted pcb/plate/whatever, multiple layers of foam, nicer plate materials, etc) Currently using the SP-004, it's nice.

As someone who's tried the HSK pro ace, beast miao, and M5 pro, the fenrir asym is my favorite by far. The wider grip and low weight outweighed the lack of holes on the M5 and the solid feel of the beast miao. I don't think I'll be buying another mouse for a while... probably.

The battery isn't a bad thing, compared to say your rechargeable ones getting shorter and shorter runtimes as the months go by (my pulsar, basilisk v3, gwolves barely hold decent charge). I just swapped out my pro click mini batts after months, with weeks waiting to replace it with extra batteries on hand. I tried swapping out batteries on my g pros and it didn't end well. So yeah, replaceable batteries are good a good thing for me now :D

I mostly use it to play aim trainer have no problem. But when playing fps game it does get a bit unstable when I trying to hold my m2 and try to lift off the mouse to reposition to mid of the mousepad. I think it is something to get used to. And yea if the click is lighter that would be an improvement I guess.

21 x 11cm hands Personally there is not a single mouse on the market large enough to claw comfortably. If I do have hand contact the scroll wheel is painful to reach. (Trust me I've tried every big mouse). Thus I use fingertip grip right now, Crazylight, Fenrir asym, and HTR pro are my favs.

Though I have not tried more then 2 from your list, I've tried a few popular ftip mouse: Superlight 2c is good I am currently using it for my main tac shooter gaming mouse, it is the middle ground. I use Fenrir Asym as my main aimtrainer mouse though, got most of the PB from it, but it just good for FPS without needing to M2 ADS for me, as I found that holding M2 to aim and shoot on this mouse requires some getting used to. for a cheaper option, Darmoshark M5 is good budget choice. I have also tried Beast Miao, very good as well. Aimability: Fenrir Asym > 2C/Beast Miao > M5

The weight difference of the Gwolves asym/max it\`s prob one of the main differences, the sensor position and low distance from the ground feels more precise and resposible too, paired with one of the best specs and shape for fingertip I wouldn\`t recommend you anything else if you want to commit to a fingertip mice. The Asym is the 100% fingertip mouse with its ergo and low buttons. The Max its the more all rounder with its higher and symetrical shape. If youre sure of your choice, my recommendation is the G-Wolves Asym.
