Scimitar 4th year no problems. But Razer Naga is solid.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Corsair scimitar, comfort for me
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Thanks everyone, saw the corsair scimitar was on sale for only $20 more than the M811 so I decided to get the scimitar. Hopefully I can get the hang of all the buttons lol.
r/TibiaMMO • Redragon M811 ->it has a known double clicking problem, or did, maybe they fixed it. I went through 2 of them
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->If you want the Logitech g600, look up "Logicool g600" on eBay. It's the same mouse, it never got discontinued in Japan, but the name Logitech was taken over there so they had to rebrand for japanese products to Logicool. I tried a Corsair scimitar, Razer Naga, and Steel series Aerox 9 and nome of them held up to the g600 imo
r/wow • What MMO mouse would you Recommend for WoW? ->Looking for a new mouse. Only play wowand only do Arena. I can get by with a minimum of 3 side buttons. Not interested in The Logitech MMO mouse I use that for a day and couldn't stand it. I ran the first Corsair scimitar for a while and I wasn't a huge fan but it wasn't horrible so the new wireless version is something that I'm looking at. Naga pro V2 is not something I'm interested in. I have a naga pro right now and I'm not a fan of the software. So my requirements are good software a minimum of three side buttons. Wireless and wired. And something on the bigger side that'll fit my hand. Not really concerned about cost not even really concerned if the mouse needs anything changed bonus points if there's any STLs out there for the mouse that I could print a different shell for that would give me the fit that I want.

My g600 bit the dust last year and I'm so sad. I had to switch to the Corsair scimitar which is good, but no g600 ðŸ˜
r/wow • Ideal mouse for playing WoW ->Corsair Scimitar is my alltime favorite out of the 5 or 6 gaming mice I've tried. It's excellent.
r/MMORPG • Great price-value mmorpg mouse ->personally I use a corsair mmo mouse, but like the red dragon they don't offer a mirror version for left hand use that is one thing the azeron company does well is they have mirror versions of everything
r/disabledgamers • Looking for One-Handed Gaming Solutions: Advice on the Azeron Cyro or Alternatives ->my scimitar started having scroll wheel issues like immediately after warranty was over. cleaning it myself to fix only lasted a couple months.
r/ffxiv • View on Reddit →Same, loved it. The corsair scimitar is a decent replacement, better than a Naga at least imo. The keypad size is decent, and you can slide it back and forth a little to. Still, the G600 had the best design to help you *feel* which row your thumb was on.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I use Corsair Scimitar pro and I'm loving it! Got bigger hands so really appreciate movable 12 button side panel.
r/Guildwars2 • View on Reddit →I definitely can't recommend from my personal experience. The mousewheel broke on me after months. And the iCue software is a mess. Mutiple times it broke completely and I could only fix it by doing a complete reinstall. While that seems fixed, now it just refuses to launch on startup. That being said, I've never found a mouse that made me happy for more than 1-2 years.
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →I tried this one out and really didn't like how it fit in my hand. The side buttons are awkwardly positioned such that my resting thumb position was nowhere near the buttons I'd prefer as my "home base" buttons, and there was just too much spread between the index finger buttons on the side of the left click, and the thumb pad. I'm using the Corsair Scimitar right now. It's not great and I keep right clicking accidentally, but it's close enough. The adjustable thumbpad position is a nice touch.
r/wow • View on Reddit →What? I've gone through 3 already because their shitty scroll wheel keeps destorying itself
r/wow • View on Reddit →Corsair Scimitar pro, I was so impressed when I upgraded to this one that I bought an extra one.
r/Guildwars2 • View on Reddit →I bought my corsair scimitar in 2015 and I still use it everyday, it work like it's brand new even after 10 years
r/wow • View on Reddit →if you are finding negative reviews about the razer mouse maybe look into the corsair one
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have nothing but good things to say about my glorious model d 2 pro. I've been using a Corsair scimitar since they launched in 2015 and have always been used to a bigger mouse and moving the the D2 has been pretty great - minus the lack of buttons, that I'm still getting used to lol.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Corsair Scimitar fits the description if you want something different, but what are you on about the wireless stuff? Wireless mice these days use 2.4 GHZ dongles not bluetooth, the Naga Wireless can hold 100+ hours of battery life(You can also use it while it is charging), and no you won't get any connection issues or sensor lag unless your unit is defective in some way. Just upgrade to Wireless.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →i really love my corsair scimitar but i have a huge problem with iCue due to the fact that it wont auto-start and then my mouse wont switch programs when I start specific games :/ Really love the mouse but hate the program xD A reason why i'd like to switch...
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →So my mouse (Razer Naga X) is dying after about 3-4 years of using it. I intended to buy it again, but to my surprise, it's not being sold anymore. I really like MMO mice and I actively use at least 6-8 of the side buttons. As far as I know, the only worthwhile models on the market are: 1. Corsair Scimitar (had it twice, both times broke in under 6 months, don't want to ever buy it again) 2. Steelseries Aerox (looks quite cheap, small and a bother to clean, not a big fan of these super light ones) 3. Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed (only wireless without the possibility of using a cable, which I hate) Are there any other options that are still sold today? I am desperate.
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →There's really only 4 from well known brands at this point, all of which are overpriced for what they are and have pretty terrible QC. * Corsair scimitar: This things known for having issues with the plastic that actuates the left right click being too soft so it ends up indenting and then stops working. Scroll wheel also has tons of issues. * Razer naga: Razer is infamous for their horrible QC / quality at this point while often being the most expensive due to riding the name the company made for itself back when it was decent. * Steelseries aerox 9: This ones the only one that is designed to be light weight but its overpriced, the side buttons are crap and often have issues along with the scroll wheel. * Red dragon I forget the number: Its a red dragon so yknow, you get what you pay for, but at least its cheap! Another option is getting the "logicool g600" which is the japanese (iirc) version of the logitech g600 which is no longer sold in the west... but this would probably be a bad option for you as its probably the chunkiest and heaviest of the bunch. The rest are all similarly sized and shaped and none meet all your criteria. The smallest / lightest is the aerox 9 but its also one of the most expensive only beat by razer. Red dragons the cheapest followed by corsair.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I've had a couple of Scimitars have this problem, but it's a known issue and there's a few good guides to fixing it yourself out there.
r/wow • View on Reddit →The Corsair Scimitar adresses this partially by having a good texture on the keys so you know which one you're holding and not to slip off. However, a lot of these older mice have bad non flex cable and no mouse feet.
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →Corsair scimitar here aswell no issues on year 4
r/wow • View on Reddit →Depends on your budget. Personally I'm a huge fan of the Corsair scimitar. They even came out with a wireless one recently which I am very excited to get soon if I can save up some money.
r/wow • View on Reddit →Works fine tbh, it's just a pain in the sphincter to get set up. Once you get it setup, you're pretty much good. Back up your profiles, though. Asap.
r/wow • View on Reddit →Razer Naga is a great mmo mouse. Have had my current one for about 3 years of daily use and it's just as good as new. I've also had a Scimitar. That was good too but I prefer the naga.
r/wow • View on Reddit →Corsair SCIMITAR user here as well. 2 going on 3 years with no issues whatsoever, which is crazy to me because I use the side buttons for the bulk of my rotation so I've smashed those buttons probably tens of thousands of times if not more. The thing is a tank.
r/wow • View on Reddit →The Scimitar isn't exactly uncomfortable but the texture was odd after the smoothness of the naga. The naga is better for smaller hands imo. The naga is lighter which I prefer, but some people like a weightier mouse. My Scimitar got an occasional weird double click issue after about 8 months and the software profiling is a little finicky and can sometimes get wiped randomly after 'upgrades'. But mine was decent enough. I didn't hate it, I just preferred the naga so I went back to it.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I had the corsair scimitar, loved it had everything bound to number keys and ctrl+num keys. Except for dodge, utilities(q,e,z,x,r), weapon swap and weapon store.
r/Guildwars2 • View on Reddit →why do you want to replace scimitar? I've used it for 4-5 ish years and it was pretty good, considered buying the second one. I'm using Aerox 9 wireless now, because got it cheap and it's wireless, but if I had to, I'd go back to scimitar any time
r/TibiaMMO • View on Reddit →Switched to the scimitar away from the naga for the same reason as you, and also thought it felt wierd at the start. But (at least for me) its only at the beginning, prefer the feel of the scimitar now over the naga by a lot.
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →5 years with the scimitar until the right click started to fail, now 2 years with the 2nd one and im still in love with this mouse
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →There's not that many that exist, your options for ones you can reasonably find are: * Razer naga * Corsair scimitar * Steelseries aerox 9 * Red dragon m908 All of these are mediocre mice with large QC issues and whether or not you get one that lasts 5 months or 5 years is complete RNG. You're going to have a bunch of people pop up and say things like "I've used the X for Y years and its the best!" and its some bullshit, they won the lottery that their mouse didn't arrive defective or shit the bed after some short amount of time. There used to be the logitech g600 which was both cheaper than 3 of those 4 mice while also being just as good if not better quality... not by much though... but they discontinued it. You can find them used but they're mostly overpriced and yknow.. used mice are pretty gross. They all have minor differences, pick whichever one suits you at whatever price point you're ok with paying every year or two and pull the trigger. The razer and steelseries are the most overpriced, the scimitar isn't as bad price wise, the red dragon can be bought right now on sale for 22$ and is normally like 32$. Red dragons a budget brand though so don't expect the world.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I've done well with a Scimitar over the last few years. For most games I have the same side keys set and I move from game to game without having to remember what key does what. It's one mouse I would recommend over any other, even though the scroll wheel can be a bit janky from time to time.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →Don't let anyone talk you into a PoS Naga, or any Razer product. If you really want a button grid, get the corsair scimitar Personally, I use a G903, which is what I would recommend. Being able to rebind every button on the mouse gives endless possibilities. Sidescrolling in particular is a very convenient set of buttons to rebind.
r/wow • View on Reddit →There currently isn't an mmo mouse on the market that lasts without getting lucky. I've had them all, they all have QC issues. There's a few common issues that pop up with the scimitar, mine ultimately failed because of the common issue that happens due to the plastic they use for the top housing being softer than the switches they use on the left / right click so as you continue to use it eventually the switch indents the plastic and it stops actuating. I'm actually so tired of dealing with the mmo mice that exist that I was considering doing something out of left field and buying an azeron cyro... but best I can tell that also has QC issues while being over 200 smacks so... My kingdom for a single quality mmo mouse.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I use a scimitar where i have some mix feelings about. I like the design and fact u can adjust where your thumb rests on the 12 buttons. But the coating is subpar imo. The rubber gets very grimy over time where it think a more solid plastic shell would've been nicer. Have also looked around for replacement shells/keys but can't find any. Still kinda baffled there haven't been any sleek new mmo mice designs with a 12 side button layout aside from the razer mice
r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →What is the smallest 12 button mouse there? Currently have the scimitar
r/Guildwars2 • View on Reddit →I bought my first g600 in 2012 or 13 and it's still kicking ass. It's followed me coast to coast and endured outrageous amounts of abuse. I love the mouse, and wish they'd release a wireless version! I ended up buying 3 over the years, all working perfectly. I now use a Corsair Schmitar, and it's not terrible but it's still a ways from the g600.
r/wow • View on Reddit →I liked my razer naga for a while when I played an MMO that it helped a lot with. An alternative worth checking into if you ever have to replace the Naga is Corsair's Scimitar, which was wider and a bit better for my hand, and I think they have since released a wireless version. Dunno if Razer did for the Naga. Both's software are awful, though.
r/Workspaces • View on Reddit →Naga is better for small hands. The Scimitar is pretty bulky. Otherwise, I agree.
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →I tried 3 different Naga models, Corsair scimitar and a turtlebeach I don't recall name of. Right now I'm using Genesis/Natec Xenon 770, because of how cheap it is. I prefer the naga Trinity shape, but it's too expensive for the shirt life duration. So my current mouse solved that problem.
r/MMORPG • View on Reddit →Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm preparing to replace mine too as the scroll wheel issue is starting to show it's ugly head. Definitely will be going with the same mouse though - it's perfect for me!
r/Guildwars2 • View on Reddit →Looking for a new mouse. Only play wowand only do Arena. I can get by with a minimum of 3 side buttons. r/MouseReview • View on Reddit →I have small hands, the fact that you can adjust the positioning to the Corsair 12buttons is a lifesaver for my reach. Clicky enough to know you've hit the button, not loud, and not mushy. That said, I've bought 3 in the last 7 years. One I wore out Savage raiding, the 0 stopped working; got one to replace that one, then got the wireless when it came out. Neither of the replacements have shown that kind of wear, but I've also stopped raiding. Responsiveness for the wireless is great on my laptop, and shite on my desktop, no idea why, use the dedicated dongle for both.
r/ffxiv • View on Reddit →The scimitar just felt kinda...slippery, I guess? It didn't feel like I had much traction on the mouse itself when I had one. I ended up returning it and just going back to my Nightsword.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →I use the scimitar. For healing, potions and support items I use the mouse buttons and for attack spells I use my keyboard. As a monk I have my rota in 1234.
