I’ve been gaming on my PS5 with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P for a few months and it’s been solid.

Ah ok ok. Well I wouldn't say it's a bad purchase. I see the nova 7s are on sale here for a similar price which in my opinion sound a little better it's just not as big as a battery so that's also a decent alternative

I got steelseries arctic nova something. Work both with Xbox and PS5 and any Bluetooth device (simultaneously, can do both phone and console to not miss out on calls for example).

Eh. I ended up with the Arctis and not bad. Still miss my Astros but more control and better audio with Arctis. Mic quality on my end is kinda ass and it sometimes disconnects when I first turn the PS5 on.

I have the elite and 7p, the pulse I had to replace the cushions after 6 months and when best buy had the 7p on sale I bought me one and they are loud and comfortable and you can use the cable or the Bluetooth connector. 7p are the better

You cant go wrong with this, both me and my son use. I find it comfortable for extended sessions and it sounds great. They have redesigned the headband since we got but should still be fine.

Cloud alpha wireless sound awful, but no wireless headphones that function off of a USB dongle are going to sound good and Bluetooth headphones have too much input lag for gaming unless you're playing single player titles. Arctis Nova are the least bad imo, but I've just given up on wireless headphones for now. I used to call my wireless HyperX headset my tin cans because they sounded like tin cans and the mic quality was worse than my laptop webcam's

I have a different model of the Arctis Nova but it’s my daily user for PC, PS5, and even my steam deck and phone sometimes when I’m on flights. I just think it’s excellent, even if the PC software is challenging to configure.

I use the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P headset. I read and watched video reviews, and many of them said that this headset was the best to go with the PSVR2. And after a year of using it, I fully agree. It’s very comfortable and is a perfect fit around the PSVR2. The headphones have a retractable microphone so you can extend it out if you want, but it’s hidden away when you don’t use it. It has both Bluetooth and USB 2.4 GHz connectivity. I use the USB dongle for lag-free and higher quality audio. It even has multi point audio, so you can use both Bluetooth and USB at the same time to hear audio from two different sources simultaneously. I use it sometimes to listen to Bluetooth music from my phone while getting in-game audio via wireless USB from my PS5. The sound quality is very good too. I’m a bit of an audiophile, and even by my standards the sound quality on these headphones are good (my PS5 gaming setup has a 5.1 speaker system with Paradigm Monitor towers in the front. But when I play in VR, I kind of prefer the immersive of headphones. )

As someone who owns wireless nova 7’s and wired 7 pros, no fucking way would I spend 600 on these. Sonar GG is arguably one of the worst peripheral softwares on the market and I won’t spend another dollar on steelseries until they develop something better

I have the Arctic Nova 7P and its the best headset I've owned so far. Its comfortable (even with my glasses which surprisingly a lot of headsets are not!), the sound and mic quality is good and its held up well so far. That being said, I got mine on sale, I would not pay these full prices. Id wait for a black friday sale. The only thing I can say with confidence is to avoid the PS branded headsets. My PS5 came with the pulse 3D headset and the mic and sound quality was shocking and I've seen soooo many posts about them breaking.

Nova 7p, it’s a good headset, long battery life and it’s white which is the colour of my at set up so that’s the main reason, but excluding that probably the arctic 7p

I had no luck finding a decent all pink headset. But I really love my current headset. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova in white! You can swap out some of the white parts with pink accessories they sell. Like [this](https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/nova-booster-pack?color=rose-quartz). You can also buy replacement ear cups from third parties that are pink in color!

7p + and the nova 7p are better than Sony’s so I’d say go with either one. Money saver would be the 7p + and it’s not much of a downgrade compared to the nova 7p. The only thing you really lose with the 7p + is having the newer model mainly. If you wanna save money, do the 7p +, if you want the newer one and spend extra, go nova 7p

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P for Playstation (has a blue headband). I bought and tested 5 different pairs when the Sony Pulse Elites came out (complete garbage by the way), and loved this one the most. I had previously had the HyperX Cloud Alpha wired headset for like 6 years before that which were also fantastic.

The Arctis Nova 7 isn't just way better build quality, it also sounds miles better than that shit especially when you load a custom EQ profile using a PC. It also has comfort Max tech which makes the headset feel great.

Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.

100% in agreement, the Pulse Elite, (in my opinion) are horrible. Mine lasted about the same and broke in the same place as others mentioned and I always take care of my belongings and they were always hung up after use. We have the Arctis Nove Pro and the 7p. Definitely get the gen 2 as you can connect them to the mobile app but can't with gen1. They do sound pretty good.

Get the Arctis nova 7ps or the Arctis nova pro wireless headset if you want balanced audio that has clarity/detail as well as rumbling bass If you value extreme clarity/detail and don’t really care for rumbling bass or treble get the audeze maxwells

Not good Do the maxwells use planar magnetic drivers which are designed to be inherently flat and play audio in its purists form with little to no enhancements. You’ll get bass but not the rumbling/thumping bass you are probably use to hearing in standard dynamic drivers which 99.% if headsets use If you want bass I’d recommend the Astro A50x, Arctis nova pro wireless ore the Arctis nova 7ps. The turtle beach stealth 700 gen 3s are also a good choice The above will give you balanced audio with both bass and clarity/detail. The a50x and turtle beach headset are a smige more bass heavy but not overbearing though

Ok i have 3 ps5's one a pro. 1× pulse elite upstairs 1x steel series arctis 7p ps5 1x steel series nova 7p on pro Previously had the sony platinum headset on ps4 Previously before that was the sony gold. My go to: Arctis nova 7p. Least used: pulse elite. Why? : 1) all three sony are plastic. All three have cracked. Really cheap. 2) The mic sits closer to your mouth than the platinum and gold, due to its design. This creates the worst reason not to own one: it has LED lights right on the tips either side of your head, they are in your vision, and the most annoying thing ever. You can't turn them off. So guess what, its masking tape over the lights.. on your brand new headset. 3) the voice feedback, you know when you speak and you can hear your self ? Makes it more natural as when you speak in the real world, your ears pick up your voice. This headset has this, its completely shit. Difference between 7p and nova 7p: So I upgraded from my 7p of over 5 years ownership, really really enjoyed them, but...5 years. I really hoped the nova 7p was going to be at least at same level as 7p. Its so much better: 1) Battery life is better than an already good battery life. 2) I believe the sound to be superior (thats subjective), but both have premium sound quality. 3) you can pair it to your phone to play music or use ai etc with the mic, you can take calls etc the switch back over to gaming whenever you like without taking the headset off. None of this is on the 7p. 4) its way way lighter and its noticeable. Both are super sturdy. 5) they managed to make them more comfortable, the 7p were very comfortable, but holding both in my hand then head..nova beats it. 6) hearing yourself as you speak, by far the best headset I have ever had for this. Its was damned good in 7p, this is on a different level. 7) you can listen to your music on your phone whilst gaming. 8) both work on pc, mobile phones, etc. 9) there is lossless WiFi mode and Bluetooth built in. The 7p did not have this. My main negative with steelseries 7p and nova 7p, is that when my family are in the sitting room, I put my mates voices through the tv and use the mic on the headset sat on the armchair. The set is designed ti turn off the headset if its not in your head. You can actually update this by plugging into a pc and using the download downloadable app. Then set it to 'never switch off'. There os a mobile app but could nit make it work. So yes the new headset comprehensively refines and beats the original headset that was utterly great already. The quality of life upgrade is brilliant, but...if you had never owned the 7's to start, and purchased the nova 7, you would never ever know all of what I said above. The pulse elite is just gathering dust upstairs. The sound is ok, but they are designed to break on you. Built in failure so you upgrade later. (Look up 'pulse elite headset cracking on google). Wish I had not bothered. Hope this helps.

Hello, i‘m using the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X (X is for xbox, so just ignore that) and i‘m using it since launch (2022) and hell no, i‘m not going to replace it anytime soon. It has the Battery Life of god, sound quality is crispy clear and light weight as a feather. I can recommend that. Btw there‘s a difference between „Steelseries Arctis“ and „Steelseries Arctis Nova“ - the „Nova“-Headsets are the „reboots“ if the original arctis-line.

Arctis Nova 7P for sure. The Pulse had amazing sound but they broke after a couple of months with regular use. The build quality of the Arctic Nova 7P are much much better. Also if you are a couch gamer the Pulse was really annoying to wear due to the rear-facing brackets.

I went from gaming headset to a DT770 about 10 years ago, went through all sorts of different headphones, amp stacks and went down the rabbit hole for a bit. A couple years ago I sold my DT1770 and Schiit stack in favor of the Audeze Maxwell. great headset but it has some issues. Not at all as good as the hype wants you to believe.(Music is amazing, gaming is OK, Durability of those drivers is shit, software is even shittier) Started using that at work for music listening and calls instead and got a basic Steel Series Arctis Nova 7 at home. Also decent, especially for the price. Recently I got an audio interface to fuck around with my guitars and amp plugins. And I tried my old DT770s again through that. The sound is so much clearer so I’m back to using studio headphones again. Thinking I’m gonna get the DT700 and throw those old DT770’s back into my drawer, always nice with a backup I guess.

I have the Nova 7P and the Nova pro. Both have good mic quality, a bit quiet but that also might be my settings. I’ve had the 7P for a good year now and they are amazing and feel comfortable. One thing I don’t like about them is that they seem to slide off my head whenever I look down to grab something off the floor or if I’m looking down at my kids or cats, but other than that they’re perfect and don’t really hurt my ears after long uses definitely recommend

Absolutely loving my Steelseries Arctic Nova 7. Has great battery life, sound quality is amazing, you can turn ambience sound on and off with a simple button if you want to hear outside your headset, it can connect to the ps5 through a dongle and a Bluetooth device at the same time. I play for 8+ hours daily and get 2-3 days on a 20ish minute charge time but I only use it for my ps5, I don’t use the Bluetooth so I’d assume using both in tandem would drain battery faster
