Artis 7+ Steel Series fits over the psvr2 perfectly. Great headset
r/PSVR • PSVR2 what headphones do you use? ->my arctis 7s from 2019 are starting to feel it's age and i'm looking at a new headset. * **Budget -** roughly 270 euro or 2000 dkk * **Country? -** Denmark * **Platform? -** PC * **Motherboard if on pc (or other audio gear)? -** Z790 UD AX * **Requested Guide:** Gaming Headset(AIO) * **Open back or closed back? -** Doesn't matter Have looked at both the Arctis Nova Pro or the Audeze Maxwell. Must have is chat / game mix
r/Gaming_Headsets • Monthly Recommendation Thread + LifelongCaboose's Gaming Audio Guide Links + Megathreads ->I am using steel as well. Cost vs performance is good IMO.
r/OverwatchUniversity • Recommended Headset with 300 USD ->I got the 7p for $100 and I love it.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->The Arctis 7P+. Most comfortable headset ever. I’ve had a nova in the past and the ear cups are smaller and less comfortable, hurt my ears after a bit.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->In fact, I just switched from a 2017 SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless to the Fractal Design Scape. The Arctis was already mechanically worn out and I've already replaced the ear pads 5 times. I've tried several headsets over the last few years, but none of them have convinced me to give up the Arctis 7. The Scape surprises me. Comfortable to wear, good sound quality, decent battery life and then there's RGB. The charging cradle is the best thing about it.
r/FractalDesign • Fractal Design Scape - First Impressions ->Not sure about that buddy. But 7P+ is using a USB-C dongle which works on my Mac too.
r/playstation • I need recommendations for a PS5 headset, I don’t mind spending a lot of money, what are your best suggestions? ->Ive had the black one, 7x I think, for years now. Because it works on Xbox and PS5.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->The 7p+ is just a more comfortable headset than the 7p. I have had both before just getting the SteelSeries’ Arctis Pro on sale. I would get the 7p+.

r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->7P+ for sure! I have had these for years and they are super comfortable, great battery life, and long lasting. I use them daily and they still look and feel great.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->I have the 7P+. I've had them for more than 2 years and I love them.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the 7p+ and I absolutely love them. They’re durable, comfortable and the 3D sound is impressive.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I really enjoy the 7P+, I even had the old 7P on PS4 and made sure to upgrade with the PS5. No regrets!
r/playstation • View on Reddit →100% in agreement, the Pulse Elite, (in my opinion) are horrible. Mine lasted about the same and broke in the same place as others mentioned and I always take care of my belongings and they were always hung up after use. We have the Arctis Nove Pro and the 7p. Definitely get the gen 2 as you can connect them to the mobile app but can't with gen1. They do sound pretty good.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Steel Series Artics 7 Pro or Logitech G Pro X. The logitech is kind of expensive but the only headset I can use while walking around my house or even parts of my backyard, worth it off that alone.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Steelseries makes great headsets. I have owned the Arctis 7 wireless and I currently own the nova pro wireless. Sound quality is great on them. The nova pro has great battery life and has easy swappable batteries. Each battery has 20 hours of battery life and one charges jn the module box while you have the other in the headset.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the 7P+ and can vouch for it. Best headset I’ve owned.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →This take is stupid. It depends entirely on what you're doing with them. I don't WFH, no zoom calls, and I'm not a streamer. I've found my Arctis headset to be convenient and perfectly adequate for playing BF6 or Arc Raiders with a couple friends. I have some Edifier MR4 monitors that I use when not using the headset. Picked them up for $80 on black Friday a couple years ago. Pretty happy with those as well, though I'm no audio engineer.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →7P+ is one of the best headsets I have ever owned. Had it since it came out for the PS5 and still use for my daily. Great sound quality, clear mic, and great connection with dongle
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I've been a Steelseries headset user for a while. Started with the Arctis 7, moved on to the Pro Wireless and then to the Nova Pro Wireless. The price point for these make zero sense...I would probably purchase when they go on sale or get a price reduction. Otherwise, despite the improvements, I don't see myself spending $600. It isn't an income thing for me either....but at $600 these just don't make me my tech senses tingle.
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Ok i have 3 ps5's one a pro. 1× pulse elite upstairs 1x steel series arctis 7p ps5 1x steel series nova 7p on pro Previously had the sony platinum headset on ps4 Previously before that was the sony gold. My go to: Arctis nova 7p. Least used: pulse elite. Why? : 1) all three sony are plastic. All three have cracked. Really cheap. 2) The mic sits closer to your mouth than the platinum and gold, due to its design. This creates the worst reason not to own one: it has LED lights right on the tips either side of your head, they are in your vision, and the most annoying thing ever. You can't turn them off. So guess what, its masking tape over the lights.. on your brand new headset. 3) the voice feedback, you know when you speak and you can hear your self ? Makes it more natural as when you speak in the real world, your ears pick up your voice. This headset has this, its completely shit. Difference between 7p and nova 7p: So I upgraded from my 7p of over 5 years ownership, really really enjoyed them, but...5 years. I really hoped the nova 7p was going to be at least at same level as 7p. Its so much better: 1) Battery life is better than an already good battery life. 2) I believe the sound to be superior (thats subjective), but both have premium sound quality. 3) you can pair it to your phone to play music or use ai etc with the mic, you can take calls etc the switch back over to gaming whenever you like without taking the headset off. None of this is on the 7p. 4) its way way lighter and its noticeable. Both are super sturdy. 5) they managed to make them more comfortable, the 7p were very comfortable, but holding both in my hand then head..nova beats it. 6) hearing yourself as you speak, by far the best headset I have ever had for this. Its was damned good in 7p, this is on a different level. 7) you can listen to your music on your phone whilst gaming. 8) both work on pc, mobile phones, etc. 9) there is lossless WiFi mode and Bluetooth built in. The 7p did not have this. My main negative with steelseries 7p and nova 7p, is that when my family are in the sitting room, I put my mates voices through the tv and use the mic on the headset sat on the armchair. The set is designed ti turn off the headset if its not in your head. You can actually update this by plugging into a pc and using the download downloadable app. Then set it to 'never switch off'. There os a mobile app but could nit make it work. So yes the new headset comprehensively refines and beats the original headset that was utterly great already. The quality of life upgrade is brilliant, but...if you had never owned the 7's to start, and purchased the nova 7, you would never ever know all of what I said above. The pulse elite is just gathering dust upstairs. The sound is ok, but they are designed to break on you. Built in failure so you upgrade later. (Look up 'pulse elite headset cracking on google). Wish I had not bothered. Hope this helps.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →The Arctis ones do it with a cool little dedicated box where you can also control other things. I had some years ago and it was a very handy feature...though yes, windows now does much better, channel-based volume control. Still not as cool as a dial on a box though :)
r/PUBG • View on Reddit →Steelseries 7p or 7x probably gonna be your best bet and finding them used will be even cheaper. There are others id recommended but there over 100
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the 7p+ had mine for about 5 years and they're still perfect. Highly recommend🤘
r/playstation • View on Reddit →ive had the 7s and numerous other headsets including TB Stealth Pros. The nova pro wireless are the best balance between sound quality and comfort IMO. great headset, but def recommend pushing up the EQ in the 2k and 4k range to balance it out, as the default is lacking around that area. comfort wise they are great. There is a big difference in sound quality between the 7s and the Nova Pro
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven’t had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.
r/XboxGamers • View on Reddit →Haven’t tried the Arctic Nova 7P, but I have tried the 7P+ and Pulse Elite and 1000% recommend the 7P+. I’ve been using it for a few years and It’s genuinely been fantastic. Holds charge for a long time so I don’t really charge it that often and the spacial awareness on it has been great. It’s also super comfortable and I haven’t had any issues wearing it for 4-6 hours at a time. Having the option to also hear around you is very nice incase you need to multi task. It also helps it’s the cheapest option while also, imo being the best!
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have an arctis 7 by SteelSeries. It's a tad heavy, a little bulky but I really I love it. Once this one dies, I'll probably look for something a little on the lighter side but it really is a great head set.
r/BuyCanadian • View on Reddit →Currently using 7p+, nothing to complain except for the pick up noice
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Another vote for the steel series 7 from me. Mine are about 5 years old as well an totally awesome still.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →What did you get? I got 7p+ and love it. Tried pulse elite because adjusting EQ through PS5 but wasn't worth it. Just returned them after 1 day 😂 they just crackled and disconnected like 5 times per hour. My steelseries haven't done those even once and I've used them much longer.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I never use it because the only reason I bought steelseries is for the dual audio so I can be on FaceTime while also hearing my pc (I used to use it for my ps5 too) game audio. But the Arctis 7 is plenty good enough.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Audio differences between the Nova and the 7P+ are minimal. I owned the 7P+ before I upgraded to the nova and let me tell you the two major points that I noticed were better. 1: The fabric headband that the 7P+ uses gets stretched out over time and needs replacing, whereas on the Nova you can buy rubber ones and you won’t have the same issue. 2: The Novas support simultaneous 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth connections. So you can have it connected to both a PS5 and a phone and hear audio from both simultaneously. There’s also the fact that with the 7P+, you have to connect it to your PC to mess with its audio settings and adjust its EQ. I’m told the Gen 2 Novas now have mobile app support. I’d go with Nova
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I’ve had the Artctis 7P+ for many years now and it still works perfectly fine
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Agree, I'm on arctis 7p+. Compared to pulse elites (which you could imagine be "the best" for ps5). Arctis is comfortable, metal structure mostly, zero connection issues, low profile usb c dongle that you can put in front side of your ps5. Pulse elite is opposite in all these, garbage. Only downside is having to adjust EQ through pc but that's nothing compared to what else you get.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I eventually switched to the SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless for my long gaming sessions. I liked that it offered easy on-headset volume controls and a mic that I could flip aside when I wasn't using it. The comfort was a big win for me during 10+ hour sessions, and the sound quality stayed balanced without overwhelming me during intense moments. It wasn't the cheapest, but I felt it was worth the investment for the overall experience.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • View on Reddit →Just get the PlayStation version. It will work just fine on pc as both use the same wireless dongle. Only difference is the PlayStation version has some different colors on it
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →If you can find them for a good price the audeze maxwell i would 100% recommend. Honestly ive used most of the high end gaming headsets and there sound and EQ just have so many issues. Ill also add the build quality tend to break or Fall apart in the same areas. But I'd probably go with arctis 7 line for consoles as the arctis nova pros just arent worth the price.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →7p + and the nova 7p are better than Sony’s so I’d say go with either one. Money saver would be the 7p + and it’s not much of a downgrade compared to the nova 7p. The only thing you really lose with the 7p + is having the newer model mainly. If you wanna save money, do the 7p +, if you want the newer one and spend extra, go nova 7p
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Out of those 3 specifically? Arctic 7P+
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I’ve had arctics 7 for 5 years but recently the ear piece started to break and eventually they were beyond repair. They were the best headphones I’ve ever had so I bought an exact same piece. The audio in left year broke after 1 month. I switched them to new ones thanks to warranty but those broke again within a month. I exchanged them again on a warranty and so far it’s been good for 3 months. Take it as you will. Just sharing my experience
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →I have the elite and 7p, the pulse I had to replace the cushions after 6 months and when best buy had the 7p on sale I bought me one and they are loud and comfortable and you can use the cable or the Bluetooth connector. 7p are the better
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Arctis 7p+ is what I have been using for the last 7 years I use it for work aswell great battery life and great sound
r/playstation • View on Reddit →i used the steelseries arctis 7 for the longest time. I went with them because they used a ski band for the head which relieved a lot of pressure and headaches a traditional headset would cause (for me at least). Great audio quality, wireless, and ok ish mic.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Idk what yall are doing to yalls headsets but I've had my Arctis 7s for around 4 years now and they haven't broken yet. Only issue is battery life has gone down
r/gamingpc • View on Reddit →Arctis 7 is all I’ve known. I’ve had mine for 7 years now and they are still great. Only problem is they no longer seem to hold a charge longer than 6min. May have to do something DIY with battery replacement. Because I don’t have the money to buy a new headset and it would be the Arctis Pros.
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →The pulse elite is one of the absolute WORST headsets I have ever bought. Massive waste of money. I have the steelseries 7P and I love it. Definitely gonna be sticking to this one for a long time

I went with the Arctic 7P+ and it's held me up so long—it still technically works til this day however I regularly use the Pulse Explores just due to the sheer convenience (with an obviously lower sound quality).
