I’ve had a ton of “gaming headsets” over the years, including a ton of sennheisers via sponsorship during cs. They’re all shit, because they try to do both audio and mic. And they’re all cheap plastic. Swapped to Beyerdynamic DT770 pro + XLR mic and after 12 years of using that I’m swapping to 990 pro because they’re literally falling apart now. Can even buy replacement parts to fix it up again. Never looking back at overpriced “gaming branded headsets” Maybe the only one I can recommend if you still insist on getting one, is the hyper x cloud 2 Because of similar durability with Beyerdynamic, as it’s literally a product made with them.
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->Sorry just saw this message, and no unfortunately this is a wired headphone set…(the Dt770) The cloud 2 hyperX has a wireless variant that works with ps5 as far as I know, ( but might come with a small amount of static if you’re sensitive to this ) Can recommend turning either the headsets 7.1 off or on the ps5 side as having both on can cause issues For the rest it’s plug and play
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->Easily HyperX Cloud 2. Have had 2 pairs, both were great. Good audio, comfortable and pretty sturdy. The value for money you get on them is amazing IMO.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Which of these Gaming headsets is the best value for money? (Strictly limited to these options only) ->Would go for hyper x cloud wireless, its good sound good mic and not over expensive, arround 100 a 120.
r/buildapc • Whats the Best Gaming Headset to Buy Right Now? ->for me its HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset i still have it after 3y and its still better then any other take a look [https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/\_c3YaWPnH](https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c3YaWPnH)
r/gamers • What brand of gaming headset is the best? ->Plastic connectors to the headband will probably disintegrate. Happened to my twos after a couple months
r/HyperX • HyperX Cloud Wireless III S: What the Cloud III Should Have Been ->Alpha came out after Cloud II iirc. I don't know if there's any meaningful improvements over Cloud II however. As of the latter; I've owned a Cloud II and it was built like a goddamn tank. Sound quality is decent and I've spent countless hours in tactical FPS titles with that bad boy. I'd highly recommend it.
r/HyperX • Which ones are really worth it? ->Love my hyperX. Sound great and so comfortable
r/gamers • What gaming headset the best value for money? ->Yup. Its sooo good and for such a great price. I also love the detachable microphone.
r/gamers • What gaming headset the best value for money? ->In my experience the hyperx cloud headset is one of the best options for the price just don't lose the detachable mic
r/XboxSupport • Advice on which headset to buy for Series X ->I always recommend something from HyperX. The cloud 2 has a more fun sound, while the cloud 3's are more balanced. I also find the 3's to be hands down the best for comfort and their wireless varieties (especially the 3 S) being the best tuned out of the box without eq
r/buildapc • Please, I BEG! Can anyone help me pick a budget “gaming” headset to give as a gift, I’m out of my depth and losing my mind! ->Really? I’ve bought 2 Kingston cloud 2s since 2017. My brother got a HP one a couple of months ago and it just didn’t sound as crisp. I asked him to do a blind rating and he knew which ones were which 🤷🤷 f knows. Just do whatever makes you happy

r/HyperX • Which ones are really worth it? ->Had one of these for like 6 years. Finally was giving me some issues. Got another one. Love this headset
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →This is definitely the best choice for a 17 year old. I've had nicer headsets, but I come back to the clouds.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Currently using whatever the top HyperX wireless option is. I travel for work and spend a lot of time playing on a laptop. I’m using an Omen 16 laptop right now and it has the built in dongle for HyperX peripherals. I’m honestly pretty pleasantly surprised by them. They’re very comfy, sound is decent, mic is good. I did order those Nova elites tho and they should deliver on Friday 👀
r/headphones • View on Reddit →I think they're definitely 'good enough'. Especially for wireless.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →I understand. When I switched from Cloud IIs to X2HRs, it sounded there was absolutely no bass because I was so used to the Cloud II’s warmer tuning. I liked the Cloud IIs significantly more until I got used to the new tuning. Simply reducing the loudness of higher frequencies can make things seem muffled, and reducing the loudness of lower frequencies can make things seem tinny. It’s all in comparison with what you’re used to. I don’t know if the difference you experienced is due to the “brain burn in time” or weird audio processing (sometimes the headphones come with “7.1 surround sound” emulation which ruins the audio balance), so that’s why I recommended that you drive them a little longer. Generally it’s recommended to turn all audio enhancements off (spatial audio, 7.1, windows sonic etc) if you want the best tracking, unless it’s built for the game (like Cryspatial is). You honestly don’t have much choice at your budget if you want a significant “upgrade” in tracking quality compared to the Krakens. The Cloud IIs are generally known as having decent sound quality but I’m not sure what changes they made with the IIIs.
r/HuntShowdown • View on Reddit →If it helps your purchase, I bought the HyperX Cloud II in 2016, a year after it came out. I’ve used it nearly every day since - it’s flawless honestly. If you can get a Kingston version, definitely grab it. I cannot stress how well and sturdy they’ve held up for nearly a decade.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →Hyperx cloud wireless. Battery lasts for, i kid you not, like 6-10 months. Mic is good. Its comfortable.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →560s is possibly the upgrade you are looking for. You can attach different cable and microphone. I went Game Zero - HyperX Cloud 2 - Game One - 560s. Zero regrets.
r/sennheiser • View on Reddit →Hyper x Cloud II has been great and considerably cheaper

r/HeadphoneAdvice • View on Reddit →the hyperX cloud is a good fps headphones and have a decent mic
r/VALORANT • View on Reddit →ch720n is fine but if you can stretch budget a bit, get a proper gaming headset, 720s are like a mid‑tier for a reason; you'll feel the difference in positional audio. 90% of us are on something like a HyperX or HyperX Cloud, not a budget Sony.
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →Not sure if you have ordered yet, I currently have a pair of wired cloud 3s, they are great, the mic is very good, only issue i had was the wire always got stuck under my chair wheel because of how long it was which eventually led the usbc being ripped out. Everyone i have spoken to has preferred the cloud 2 and the cloud 2 is used by a lot more fps streamers and pros, i am likely going to order the cloud 2s so i can give you my opinion if you still need.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →If you’re deadset on wireless, and given the options you mentioned: HyperX Cloud 2 Wireless. Out of all these brands, HyperX generally has the best reputation in terms of build-quality, especially in their Cloud-lineup of headsets. The mic is decent, and battery lasts around 30 hours per charge which is more than enough. I wouldn’t touch Razer *at all*.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • View on Reddit →The Cloud 2 Core is a lot less known about and less reviewed than the regular Cloud 2 Wireless, and one review that I checked out says that the Core lasts up to 20 hours from their personal testing, and the regular Cloud 2 does lives up to the 30 hours promised. I’d go with the regular Cloud 2
r/HeadphoneAdvice • View on Reddit →I ordered the cloud 2 and I love it honestly, took a minute to get used to but the sound is better for valorant which is what i play, the back of the sound controls has a lcip so i can just clip it onto something else. Both are honestly great imo.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →Hyperx cloud 2 or alpha, best quality price ratio.
r/PS5 • View on Reddit →Every headset I’ve ever owned has broken down on me except for my HyperX Cloud II’s. I handed them down to my girlfriend and they’re still going strong several years later. They probably don’t sell them anymore, but I’m sure there’s an updated version by now.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →HyperX Cloud II Wireless Amazing quality and value for the price.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Yes I have these in silver and pair it with an a40 mixamp and man I’ve never had better sound in my life. I tried the pc38x from Senheisser but they just can’t compare.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →ive used a Hyper X Cloud 2 for all 10 years of siege and it hasn’t failed me yet, i think i bought it for like $70 on amazon
r/SiegeAcademy • View on Reddit →that explains my audio issues, sadly support never told me this and now i am outside the window to return them.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →hote hai brother, many Fortnite pros use hyperx cloud 2 wireless, cloud 3 wireless, it works great
r/IndianGaming • View on Reddit →I just got new cloud 2 wireless and they sound okay (cant compare to the old ones), but the microphone on them is worse than the one from my previous 10 bucks china-headset, which makes the headset completely unusable.
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →I have the HyperX Cloud II Wireless and I love it! The sound quality + mic quality seem really good! I mainly chose it because someone recommended it to me when I was looking for a smaller-sized headset because my headsets were forever falling off my head but it ended up just being a really good headset in general! :) I also like that is has a muted indicator light and that it's a mute button and not the type where you flip the mic up to mute as those seem to wear out for me and end up not working anymore!
r/GirlGamers • View on Reddit →HyperX Cloud II, currently $59 on Amazon. Cheap and very good for the price. Had one for about 7 years, then finally went wireless.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →I used a cloud II for a few years, started flaking and got a cloud III because number bigger + on sale (both were wired and i did not use the headset mic). Sound quality feels the same to me, ill have to see how this one handles with age but OOTB its comfy (MAYBE comfier than the 2 not sure). Overall, both will treat you well
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →i had mine for like 7 years. they are solid. i do agree these are a banger combo for an all in one headset. But. i recently upgraded to a standalone headset with an amp dac and a standalone mic i already had. the difference is night and day in quality. While i do recommend these for budget or people who cant be bothered but this is by no means the headphone endgame
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →Wish i still had my kingston hyperx, they sadly died, but are still my favourite headset I've ever had
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →Cloud 2 were the goat of wired headsets when they came out!
r/HyperX • View on Reddit →hyperx cloud ii, right now i have one of the corsair hs headphones. dont remember which but id say hearing is good
r/SiegeAcademy • View on Reddit →I 2nd this. I think the hyper x cloud 2 wireless are among one of the best and affordable headsets on the market at this point. I use mine often and they are durable aswell.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Hyperx cloud 2 wireless, have had mine for years and love it. Mic quality is superb and comfort is top of the line
r/PcBuild • View on Reddit →@op I have the ath-m50x bt2, best headphones I've ever owned. I had the razer blackshark v2 pro before this, but the charging port went out, or had some other electrical issues like a month after I got them... Quite sad as I loved how they looked and sounded. They're my blender hearing protection now haha. I do have a blue desk mic tho so if you don't, I might consider other headphones. Also, I would consider not doing Bluetooth as the above person isn't, I have issues in certain games with the Bluetooth protocols in windows. Black ops 6 and rocket League are the easiest example, as soon as a match starts and I connect to voice chat, bluetooth immediately and fully crashes until I restart my computer. System Bluetooth settings get laggy, I can turn off Bluetooth but it won't turn back on and it shows no Bluetooth adapter. It is a known issue, and for most turning off hands free telephony in windows fixes, but def doesn't for me. This however doesn't happen in most games and ABI is amazing with them as are most games. I have my old hyper x cloud 2 wired for those games XD.
r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite • View on Reddit →I had a HyperX Cloud II Wired headset which I loved. Eventually I wanted to go wireless and swapped to another (more pricey!) brand. I had several problems with it and honestly it was much less comfortable for my head. I missed my HyperX, so I bought the Cloud Alpha hoping it was essentially a wireless Cloud II. It is exactly that. I absolutely love it. The only way I would not recommend the headset is if you have above average sized ears. They fit a little smaller than many other headsets.

I've had the Hyper Cloud X. The plastic part holding the earphone to the base has broken 2x. The first time they reluctantly replaced the headphones after a month of arguing. The second time they wouldn't. They don't sell the little plastic piece so you have to find a 3d printer to pay for them to be made. Total waste and won't buy their product again.
