Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven't had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.

I had no luck finding a decent all pink headset. But I really love my current headset. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova in white! You can swap out some of the white parts with pink accessories they sell. Like [this](https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/nova-booster-pack?color=rose-quartz). You can also buy replacement ear cups from third parties that are pink in color!

Cloud alpha wireless sound awful, but no wireless headphones that function off of a USB dongle are going to sound good and Bluetooth headphones have too much input lag for gaming unless you're playing single player titles. Arctis Nova are the least bad imo, but I've just given up on wireless headphones for now. I used to call my wireless HyperX headset my tin cans because they sounded like tin cans and the mic quality was worse than my laptop webcam's

Hello, i'm using the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X (X is for xbox, so just ignore that) and i'm using it since launch (2022) and hell no, i'm not going to replace it anytime soon. It has the Battery Life of god, sound quality is crispy clear and light weight as a feather. I can recommend that. Btw there's a difference between "Steelseries Arctis" and "Steelseries Arctis Nova" - the "Nova"-Headsets are the "reboots" if the original arctis-line.

I got the SS nova7 and I love them. Only thing to note however, is the dongle is kinda big. It takes up both USB slots on my PS5 Pro when placed in the front.

Oh, forgot to mention, in another comment you mentioned that you were very interested in on-headset game/chat volume balancing. The Arctis Nova 7X also have this feature. There are two wheels on the headset: one for volume, and one for game/chat balance. Hope that helps!

I just bought an arctis 7x Wireless Whenever I use discord, everyone says my voice sounds awful. I basically love the headset, hate the mic. Did you ever have any mic quality issues?

I have worn mine for 8 hours straight so many times and never had this issue. Definitely not normal, if it's still under warranty I would try to get a replacement.

Are you still enjoying them as much? How fast do they recharge if they run out? I use my headphones quite a bit and one of the best things I find with the arctis novas is I can just fast swap the battery, but I'd love having a smaller (and portable) solution in general.

Thanks I'm leaning towards the 7P+ because I've heard the build quality on the pulse elites is terrible along with connection issues. I'm having a hard time telling the difference between the arctis 7p+ and the Nova 7p.

I have very little headset experience but had to get one a few months back. I picked up the Steelseries arctis nova 7, I think they were on sale for like $120 and honestly they're pretty damn good. last pair I had was a 9 year old sony studio headset that lacked bass and noise cancellation, so the arcis nova 7 are night and day obviously. Big pro for me is, I'm generally a speaker gamer and i like my games loud and booming. Audio quality and bass are good enough for me to actually prefer wearing my headphones during most times of the day. on top of being pretty comfortable with a very nice battery life, I'd recommend em. Cons aren't enough for me to hate on em, but they're a tad annoying. 1. I have to disconnect the BT dongle and plug it back in everytime I boot up my PC if I want to use my headphones, otherwise it just fails to reconnect. It's not too bad since i plug em into my front ports, just a mild inconvenience. 2. However, I notice a lot of times the headphones have a hard time splitting audio when multitasking. Again maybe this is just a headset thing, as it's not prevalent with my speakers, but when gaming on one monitor and listening to youtube/streaming on my 2nd monitor, it sounds like the audio gets kinda meshed on top of eachother rather than hearing each dedicated source on each side. This makes it hard to multitask like I like to do because I can't really hear my video streaming source over whatever game I'm playing, and this is despite heavily lowering in game audio settings, while trying to avoid not hearing the game entirely.

I left the Arctis series to go Nova and I wish I hadn't. The Arctis 7X+ is one of the best midrange headsets I've ever owned. The new Nova style feels like it's for kids heads and ears. So much smaller. Also, have you tried getting a new dongle instead? You could try and locate and 7X+ dongle and pair the headset and see if you get more life out of them?

I'd recommend the Arctis Nova 7X then. Seems to be sold on amazon for a very good price. They also work wired or wirelessly. https://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Arctis-Nova-7X-Multi-System/dp/B0B7X8M694

If you never wanna buy a headset again, go for Steel Series Nova 7X. Multipurpose and yet built for Xbox. You can listen to music off your phone via Bluetooth while being connected to your Xbox for gaming. You can easily adjust volumes, mute, has a retractable mic, and insanely comfortable. I'll use mine for music all day and forget I have them on because they so comfy. You can also plug them into a PC to fine tune it and update it. You can mess with so many audio settings.

I ordered the 7x+ and Nova 7x to try them both and I'll just return or gift the one I don't like. But same thought is to use them on PS5 and xsx. I have the razer kaira pro for my x that I love but I find the sound get crackly at times.

I've had 2 arctis nova versions, mine had little base stations not that little adapter but I have loved them both. The ability to be used one basically any device won me over. Can connect the base station to my ps5 or my pc. Can Bluetooth to other devices like phone or steam deck. Can plug in a wire if need to go wired like to my switch or portal. Just the ability to be used on everything makes it worth it to me. Mine also have hot swappable batteries so one charges in the base station while I use one so if I play long enough or forget to change it can quickly swap them and keep going.

I had the official one and hated it so much I returned it and bought an arctis nova. The SteelSeries headset connects quickly and sounds perfect. I love it. If you can afford the arctis nova 3, it's a worthwhile upgrade.

Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.

To add to this the gen 1 blemished box is $100 less and the only difference between the gen 1 and 2 is app control and battery life.

Absolutely loving my Steelseries Arctic Nova 7. Has great battery life, sound quality is amazing, you can turn ambience sound on and off with a simple button if you want to hear outside your headset, it can connect to the ps5 through a dongle and a Bluetooth device at the same time. I play for 8+ hours daily and get 2-3 days on a 20ish minute charge time but I only use it for my ps5, I don't use the Bluetooth so I'd assume using both in tandem would drain battery faster

It would be helpful if you could list your preference for wireless or wired, and a rough idea of your budget and what region you're in. But personally, I recommend the Steelseries Arctis 5X or 7X. Steelseries makes several headsets in their Arctis Nova line, but the ones with the X next the number are Xbox compatible. I think they're a much better headset than the official Xbox Wireless headset, the biggest one being compatibility. The Official Xbox wireless headset is convenient in that it connects to the console using the Xbox Proprietary Wireless Protocol, so you pair it to the console like a controller. You can also pair it to a phone at the same time for music and taking phone calls. The Steelseries Arctis Nova 5X and 7X headsets come with a wireless USB dongle that you need to plug in the console, but the benefit of this is that they work on waaaay more than just Xbox. They are one of the few headsets that works on all platforms, meaning it can be used on Xbox One/Series, Playstation 4/5, Switch/Switch 2, PC, android, etc. On top of that, while the Nova 5X lets you toggle between the transmitter and bluetooth, the 7X supports simultaneous bluetooth like the Xbox headset does, so you can pair it to a phone and take calls while you are gaming. They also both have excellent battery life, and my favourite feature: they have retractable boom mics. That means when you're not gaming, you can tuck the boom mic into the headset and they look like normal headphones that you can use for things other than gaming.

Nova 7P has a much larger and more accurate sound stage and also gets much louder than the 7P+ will in my opinion. I have the 7P+ and the Nova 7X which to my knowledge is essentially the same headset with the option to change the chat balance because you can on Xbox but it isn't supported on the PS5. I started using my 7P's with my PS5 pro because I'm not using my Xbox anymore and it was a healthy upgrade compared to my 7P+....

I have a different model of the Arctis Nova but it's my daily user for PC, PS5, and even my steam deck and phone sometimes when I'm on flights. I just think it's excellent, even if the PC software is challenging to configure.

Steel Series headsets *are* great. They're making broad generalizations, which are usually right. Gamer branded headsets are usually trash, but steel series is an exception. I've had my nova 7 for years now (2022~) with no sign of wear and tear. If (when) they eventually break I plan on buying another from steel series. The only downside is their proprietary software. It's clunky and filled with dumb apps for a million games I don't even play. Edit: I know the audio quality won't be as good as studio headphones, but I don't care. It's good enough for me, and I play plenty of competitive fps. I like headsets because I don't want a huge mic+stand on my desk. A retractable mic is a must for me.

I am seeing the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7X at around 130€ and it's my go-to recommendation. Mic and audio quality is great but not excellent, however the headset makes up for that in the sheer amount of features. It's a wireless headset that supports simultaneous bluetooth so you can still answer calls while you're gaming, and the headset works on all platforms wirelessly, not just Xbox.

As a nova 7 owner, no. The software will drive you nuts. Every driver update resets your sound settings and you have to reset your standard mic settings. Been trying to find an option outside of Steel Series for a while now

I own both. The Nova can connect via bluetooth, the 7P+ cannot. I'm talking phones and what not, you'll need to use the dongle for the console anyway. If you don't plan on using the headset for other stuff than gaming, go for the cheaper 7P+. The Nova is also a bit smaller in terms of cup size vs the 7P+. I have a big head yet both of them are comfortable enough. Battery life is amazing on both, I charge them every 2-3 weeks. I haven't tried the Sony Pulse but I did buy the Sony Gold, which were cheaper but the build quality was way flimsier than a SteelSeries and the battery life was a joke in comparion. Would not recommend Sony for gaming headsets.
