Ye I got the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P. I love them.
r/PS5pro • Okay I need opinions about gaming headsets for the ps5 pro 😎😠->I got the SS nova7 and I love them. Only thing to note however, is the dongle is kinda big. It takes up both USB slots on my PS5 Pro when placed in the front.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->I got the 7p for $100 and I love it.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->I have the elite and 7p, the pulse I had to replace the cushions after 6 months and when best buy had the 7p on sale I bought me one and they are loud and comfortable and you can use the cable or the Bluetooth connector. 7p are the better
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->The pulse elite is one of the absolute WORST headsets I have ever bought. Massive waste of money. I have the steelseries 7P and I love it. Definitely gonna be sticking to this one for a long time
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

Such a great choice. I love mine.
r/playstation • Buying my fiancé a new headset for PS5, but need recommendations. Help a clueless girl help her gamer man out? ->I have the Nova 7P and the Nova pro. Both have good mic quality, a bit quiet but that also might be my settings. I've had the 7P for a good year now and they are amazing and feel comfortable. One thing I don't like about them is that they seem to slide off my head whenever I look down to grab something off the floor or if I'm looking down at my kids or cats, but other than that they're perfect and don't really hurt my ears after long uses definitely recommend
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->Ok i have 3 ps5's one a pro. 1× pulse elite upstairs 1x steel series arctis 7p ps5 1x steel series nova 7p on pro Previously had the sony platinum headset on ps4 Previously before that was the sony gold. My go to: Arctis nova 7p. Least used: pulse elite. Why? : 1) all three sony are plastic. All three have cracked. Really cheap. 2) The mic sits closer to your mouth than the platinum and gold, due to its design. This creates the worst reason not to own one: it has LED lights right on the tips either side of your head, they are in your vision, and the most annoying thing ever. You can't turn them off. So guess what, its masking tape over the lights.. on your brand new headset. 3) the voice feedback, you know when you speak and you can hear your self ? Makes it more natural as when you speak in the real world, your ears pick up your voice. This headset has this, its completely shit. Difference between 7p and nova 7p: So I upgraded from my 7p of over 5 years ownership, really really enjoyed them, but...5 years. I really hoped the nova 7p was going to be at least at same level as 7p. Its so much better: 1) Battery life is better than an already good battery life. 2) I believe the sound to be superior (thats subjective), but both have premium sound quality. 3) you can pair it to your phone to play music or use ai etc with the mic, you can take calls etc the switch back over to gaming whenever you like without taking the headset off. None of this is on the 7p. 4) its way way lighter and its noticeable. Both are super sturdy. 5) they managed to make them more comfortable, the 7p were very comfortable, but holding both in my hand then head..nova beats it. 6) hearing yourself as you speak, by far the best headset I have ever had for this. Its was damned good in 7p, this is on a different level. 7) you can listen to your music on your phone whilst gaming. 8) both work on pc, mobile phones, etc. 9) there is lossless WiFi mode and Bluetooth built in. The 7p did not have this. My main negative with steelseries 7p and nova 7p, is that when my family are in the sitting room, I put my mates voices through the tv and use the mic on the headset sat on the armchair. The set is designed ti turn off the headset if its not in your head. You can actually update this by plugging into a pc and using the download downloadable app. Then set it to 'never switch off'. There os a mobile app but could nit make it work. So yes the new headset comprehensively refines and beats the original headset that was utterly great already. The quality of life upgrade is brilliant, but...if you had never owned the 7's to start, and purchased the nova 7, you would never ever know all of what I said above. The pulse elite is just gathering dust upstairs. The sound is ok, but they are designed to break on you. Built in failure so you upgrade later. (Look up 'pulse elite headset cracking on google). Wish I had not bothered. Hope this helps.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->I have the Arctis Nova 7P for my Xbox, I'm using it right now it's awesome
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->https://preview.redd.it/xdckprj0h21g1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=995006035929ee15de05db6e5bce1848d7c2f2c7 Steelseries all the way. I bought the Nova and never had any complaints. Cheaper than Astros but approved by Pro gamers that they're better.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →Maxwells clears easily. It's still probably the best wireless gaming headset that exists. Only thing that can come close is the new Arctic Nova from SteelSeries which is double the price but while it has more features, SQ takes a dive.
r/headphones • View on Reddit →Get the Arctis nova 7ps or the Arctis nova pro wireless headset if you want balanced audio that has clarity/detail as well as rumbling bass If you value extreme clarity/detail and don't really care for rumbling bass or treble get the audeze maxwells
r/PS5pro • View on Reddit →I left the Arctis series to go Nova and I wish I hadn't. The Arctis 7X+ is one of the best midrange headsets I've ever owned. The new Nova style feels like it's for kids heads and ears. So much smaller. Also, have you tried getting a new dongle instead? You could try and locate and 7X+ dongle and pair the headset and see if you get more life out of them?
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Nova 7p, it's a good headset, long battery life and it's white which is the colour of my at set up so that's the main reason, but excluding that probably the arctic 7p
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Nova 7P has a much larger and more accurate sound stage and also gets much louder than the 7P+ will in my opinion. I have the 7P+ and the Nova 7X which to my knowledge is essentially the same headset with the option to change the chat balance because you can on Xbox but it isn't supported on the PS5. I started using my 7P's with my PS5 pro because I'm not using my Xbox anymore and it was a healthy upgrade compared to my 7P+....
r/playstation • View on Reddit →100% in agreement, the Pulse Elite, (in my opinion) are horrible. Mine lasted about the same and broke in the same place as others mentioned and I always take care of my belongings and they were always hung up after use. We have the Arctis Nove Pro and the 7p. Definitely get the gen 2 as you can connect them to the mobile app but can't with gen1. They do sound pretty good.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the Arctic Nova 7P and its the best headset I've owned so far. Its comfortable (even with my glasses which surprisingly a lot of headsets are not!), the sound and mic quality is good and its held up well so far. That being said, I got mine on sale, I would not pay these full prices. Id wait for a black friday sale. The only thing I can say with confidence is to avoid the PS branded headsets. My PS5 came with the pulse 3D headset and the mic and sound quality was shocking and I've seen soooo many posts about them breaking.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P for Playstation (has a blue headband). I bought and tested 5 different pairs when the Sony Pulse Elites came out (complete garbage by the way), and loved this one the most. I had previously had the HyperX Cloud Alpha wired headset for like 6 years before that which were also fantastic.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →7p + and the nova 7p are better than Sony's so I'd say go with either one. Money saver would be the 7p + and it's not much of a downgrade compared to the nova 7p. The only thing you really lose with the 7p + is having the newer model mainly. If you wanna save money, do the 7p +, if you want the newer one and spend extra, go nova 7p
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Steel Series headsets *are* great. They're making broad generalizations, which are usually right. Gamer branded headsets are usually trash, but steel series is an exception. I've had my nova 7 for years now (2022~) with no sign of wear and tear. If (when) they eventually break I plan on buying another from steel series. The only downside is their proprietary software. It's clunky and filled with dumb apps for a million games I don't even play. Edit: I know the audio quality won't be as good as studio headphones, but I don't care. It's good enough for me, and I play plenty of competitive fps. I like headsets because I don't want a huge mic+stand on my desk. A retractable mic is a must for me.
r/ArcRaiders • View on Reddit →Absolutely loving my Steelseries Arctic Nova 7. Has great battery life, sound quality is amazing, you can turn ambience sound on and off with a simple button if you want to hear outside your headset, it can connect to the ps5 through a dongle and a Bluetooth device at the same time. I play for 8+ hours daily and get 2-3 days on a 20ish minute charge time but I only use it for my ps5, I don't use the Bluetooth so I'd assume using both in tandem would drain battery faster
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Arctis Nova 7P for sure. The Pulse had amazing sound but they broke after a couple of months with regular use. The build quality of the Arctic Nova 7P are much much better. Also if you are a couch gamer the Pulse was really annoying to wear due to the rear-facing brackets.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the Artis Nova 7P and I am very happy with the purchase, good construction materials, very good sound quality and immersion and no latency or disconnection problems.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →This may, or may not, be relevant but as a glasses wearer the Arctis Nova 7P has been the only headset for me that I could wear for 12+ hour gaming session and not cause me to have a massive headache by ramming my glasses into my skull. The other bonus is the ability to simultaneously connect to the Ps5 through the dongle and bluetooth to my Ipad, or something else, to listen to music while I game.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I use the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P headset. I read and watched video reviews, and many of them said that this headset was the best to go with the PSVR2. And after a year of using it, I fully agree. It's very comfortable and is a perfect fit around the PSVR2. The headphones have a retractable microphone so you can extend it out if you want, but it's hidden away when you don't use it. It has both Bluetooth and USB 2.4 GHz connectivity. I use the USB dongle for lag-free and higher quality audio. It even has multi point audio, so you can use both Bluetooth and USB at the same time to hear audio from two different sources simultaneously. I use it sometimes to listen to Bluetooth music from my phone while getting in-game audio via wireless USB from my PS5. The sound quality is very good too. I'm a bit of an audiophile, and even by my standards the sound quality on these headphones are good (my PS5 gaming setup has a 5.1 speaker system with Paradigm Monitor towers in the front. But when I play in VR, I kind of prefer the immersive of headphones. )
r/PSVR • View on Reddit →The Arctis steel series ones that are marketed for Xbox work with PlayStation too and I see now they have some PlayStation branded ones too
r/PS5pro • View on Reddit →Steelseries 7p or 7x probably gonna be your best bet and finding them used will be even cheaper. There are others id recommended but there over 100
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Facts. My Arctis Nova 7's are awesome. Except for the software lol. It's a pain in the ass to have to set sonar as the primary source every time.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →The pulse elite is one of the absolute WORST headsets I have ever bought. Massive waste of money. I have the steelseries 7P and I love it. Definitely gonna be sticking to this one for a long time
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Iv had the arctis nova 7p. And it is still so damn good. It is well worth the investment.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I had no luck finding a decent all pink headset. But I really love my current headset. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova in white! You can swap out some of the white parts with pink accessories they sell. Like [this](https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/nova-booster-pack?color=rose-quartz). You can also buy replacement ear cups from third parties that are pink in color!
r/GirlGamers • View on Reddit →I have the nova 7p and it's wonderful. I've had it for about 3 months with zero issues, the mic quality is also pretty good.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →7P. I've had mine for a few years now. Love it
r/playstation • View on Reddit →My gf has the PlayStation headset. Works fine for her. I use the arctis nova 7p. They are pretty close to on par for sounding as good as my sennheisers on my pc
r/playstation • View on Reddit →You cant go wrong with this, both me and my son use. I find it comfortable for extended sessions and it sounds great. They have redesigned the headband since we got but should still be fine.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I really enjoy the 7P+, I even had the old 7P on PS4 and made sure to upgrade with the PS5. No regrets!
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I tried a few headset last month (PC gaming) SteelSeries Nova 7P, Audiotechnica M50X, Benedynamic DT880 Pro, and HyperX cloud 2. These are my opinion as day-to-day game and music enjoyer. Not an audiophile. I'm using EQ with Steel series GG - Sonar. Nova 7 and hyperX are wireless and closed back. M50X (closed back) and DT 880 pro (semi-open-back) are wired. I settled down for HyperX cloud 2 (upgraded with wicked cushion) for wireless and DT 880 pro for wired with DAC. Nova 7 is awesome, but it falls short on 2 pain points - too small for my head and plastic hinges. I fear I'll break it in months from my daily usage/abuse. Otherwise they are terrific. M50X is also good with crystal clear sounds... but I prefer open back of the DT880 Pro more. DT880 Pro also has bigger ear cushion, more comfortable long gaming session. Purely personal preference. HyperX cloud 2 works wonders for me. Good sound and bass. Even better when used with EQ. When compared to Nova 7, it has better omph bass in wireless mode (nova 7 is a beast when plugged in). DT 880 pro is my spare for when the hyperX ran out of battery or when I need a better sound for movie immersive-ness. It just works. As your partner wanting wireless, give HyperX and SteelSeries a try. They are both closed back with good reviews. YMMW. These are under $150. If you can spend $200+ then there are other tier of headset that's outside of my budget range.

r/playstation • View on Reddit →Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven't had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.
r/XboxGamers • View on Reddit →SteelSeries Nova 7p is the perfect choice for that budget. It's one of the best headsets you can use for PS5. Very comfortable , and sound quality rocks especially if you load a custom EQ into it.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I use the Nova 7P and they are the best headphones I've ever had with gaming. I spent extra and got the ones with the little audio DAC and it's great. Never have to worry about plugging in the headphones and the DAC supports two devices at once. So if you have a PS5 and another game platform, you don't need to transfer any receiver or anything. 7P+ could also do the same but I'm unsure.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →The gen 2 comes with support for the arctis mobile app which means you don't need to use sonar and you can just select presets from your phone for whatever game you are playing. A lot easier than using sonar
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Not good Do the maxwells use planar magnetic drivers which are designed to be inherently flat and play audio in its purists form with little to no enhancements. You'll get bass but not the rumbling/thumping bass you are probably use to hearing in standard dynamic drivers which 99.% if headsets use If you want bass I'd recommend the Astro A50x, Arctis nova pro wireless ore the Arctis nova 7ps. The turtle beach stealth 700 gen 3s are also a good choice The above will give you balanced audio with both bass and clarity/detail. The a50x and turtle beach headset are a smige more bass heavy but not overbearing though
