I personally use Astro a40s and they work great. A lot of people recommend the steelseries arctis nova 7, so if I were you, I'd go for those if you're able to afford them.
r/Warzone • is the official xbox gaming headset a good headset for Warzone? ->Eh. I ended up with the Arctis and not bad. Still miss my Astros but more control and better audio with Arctis. Mic quality on my end is kinda ass and it sometimes disconnects when I first turn the PS5 on.
r/PlaystationPortal • What is the best wireless headset for the ps5. ->https://preview.redd.it/xdckprj0h21g1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=995006035929ee15de05db6e5bce1848d7c2f2c7 Steelseries all the way. I bought the Nova and never had any complaints. Cheaper than Astros but approved by Pro gamers that they're better.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->As someone who owns wireless nova 7's and wired 7 pros, no fucking way would I spend 600 on these. Sonar GG is arguably one of the worst peripheral softwares on the market and I won't spend another dollar on steelseries until they develop something better
r/steelseries • Nova Elite = WOW ->I got the SS nova7 and I love them. Only thing to note however, is the dongle is kinda big. It takes up both USB slots on my PS5 Pro when placed in the front.
r/playstation • Which would you choose, and why? ->I've been gaming on my PS5 with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P for a few months and it's been solid.
r/PlaystationPortal • What is the best wireless headset for the ps5. ->Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.

Ah ok ok. Well I wouldn't say it's a bad purchase. I see the nova 7s are on sale here for a similar price which in my opinion sound a little better it's just not as big as a battery so that's also a decent alternative
r/HyperX • is hyperx cloud 3 wireless good? ->I've been using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P on my PS5 and it's been the sweet spot for me.
r/PlaystationPortal • What is the best wireless headset for the ps5. ->Steel series nova arctic 7's is the only answer you need
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have had the SteelSeries for more than 3 years and they are perfect, they sound good and they are very comfortable even when wearing glasses (for me it is important)
r/PlaystationPortal • View on Reddit →I left the Arctis series to go Nova and I wish I hadn't. The Arctis 7X+ is one of the best midrange headsets I've ever owned. The new Nova style feels like it's for kids heads and ears. So much smaller. Also, have you tried getting a new dongle instead? You could try and locate and 7X+ dongle and pair the headset and see if you get more life out of them?
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →I've bounced between a few PS5 headsets and the one that's stuck with me is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P.
r/PlaystationPortal • View on Reddit →The gen 2 comes with support for the arctis mobile app which means you don't need to use sonar and you can just select presets from your phone for whatever game you are playing. A lot easier than using sonar
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →The Arctis steel series ones that are marketed for Xbox work with PlayStation too and I see now they have some PlayStation branded ones too
r/PS5pro • View on Reddit →I've used a couple of those headsets with my PS5 and the one that's stuck with me is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P.
r/PlaystationPortal • View on Reddit →I have worn mine for 8 hours straight so many times and never had this issue. Definitely not normal, if it's still under warranty I would try to get a replacement.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Cloud alpha wireless sound awful, but no wireless headphones that function off of a USB dongle are going to sound good and Bluetooth headphones have too much input lag for gaming unless you're playing single player titles. Arctis Nova are the least bad imo, but I've just given up on wireless headphones for now. I used to call my wireless HyperX headset my tin cans because they sounded like tin cans and the mic quality was worse than my laptop webcam's
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Facts. My Arctis Nova 7's are awesome. Except for the software lol. It's a pain in the ass to have to set sonar as the primary source every time.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →honestly you can't really go wrong with most of those.cos most wireless headsets sound good enough for ps5 anyway. but the real difference shows after a few hours of wearing them. stuff like clamp pressure, padding, and headband weight make or break long sessions. also check how each handles cross device use. some headsets (like the nova 7p) make switching between console and pc or phone easy. also [this guy](https://medium.com/@bnazir592/my-pc-setup-journey-wireless-headsets-were-the-hardest-part-to-nail-down-53f6c38dfef6) started building a pc and grabbed some dope components. like the corsair keyboard and asus monitor. he also picked the steelseries nova for the headset. so you can also check what he has to say about it. the sony pulse 3d sounds nice but has weaker battery and doesn't feel as comfy for marathon gaming. if you play late at night or share a space then closed back designs help a ton. cos they keep sound from leaking and block background noise better. and whatever you get, just update the firmware before judging the mic quality. cos a lot of them improve after patches.
r/PlaystationPortal • View on Reddit →I had no luck finding a decent all pink headset. But I really love my current headset. I have the Steelseries Arctis Nova in white! You can swap out some of the white parts with pink accessories they sell. Like [this](https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/nova-booster-pack?color=rose-quartz). You can also buy replacement ear cups from third parties that are pink in color!
r/GirlGamers • View on Reddit →Just got these and they are indeed amazing. Glad I was finally able to upgrade to a wireless headset

r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Sweet, i have the nova 7 and really like it.
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Maxwells clears easily. It's still probably the best wireless gaming headset that exists. Only thing that can come close is the new Arctic Nova from SteelSeries which is double the price but while it has more features, SQ takes a dive.
r/headphones • View on Reddit →I went from gaming headset to a DT770 about 10 years ago, went through all sorts of different headphones, amp stacks and went down the rabbit hole for a bit. A couple years ago I sold my DT1770 and Schiit stack in favor of the Audeze Maxwell. great headset but it has some issues. Not at all as good as the hype wants you to believe.(Music is amazing, gaming is OK, Durability of those drivers is shit, software is even shittier) Started using that at work for music listening and calls instead and got a basic Steel Series Arctis Nova 7 at home. Also decent, especially for the price. Recently I got an audio interface to fuck around with my guitars and amp plugins. And I tried my old DT770s again through that. The sound is so much clearer so I'm back to using studio headphones again. Thinking I'm gonna get the DT700 and throw those old DT770's back into my drawer, always nice with a backup I guess.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →steelseries arctis nova 7, great sound (idk im not an audiophile if it makes sound im happy), the software is a bit annoying yet great at the same time cuz theres preset audio settings for tons of games (idk dont ask me i can't hear the difference) and the headset also has spatial sound (just remember to turn it on in the software!), very nice battery too, lasts quite a while and is quick to charge. only downside is that after a while (2+ hours for me I think) it does get a bit uncomfortable on the ears, idk why but I think its cuz the ear cups are a bit small. Easily avoided by taking a break after a while tho which is something you should be doing anyway.
r/Rainbow6 • View on Reddit →Are you still enjoying them as much? How fast do they recharge if they run out? I use my headphones quite a bit and one of the best things I find with the arctis novas is I can just fast swap the battery, but I'd love having a smaller (and portable) solution in general.
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Pretty good, the app is good, you definitely need EQ to make them sound good. Comfort is good, better than most. Only downside is the cheap look and feel, only plastics, no aluminium like nova 7 or pro
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Arctis Nova 7 works very well for me. Also it's quite convinient as it's wireless.
r/PUBG • View on Reddit →Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.
r/pcmasterrace • View on Reddit →Didn't had any comfort issues with the 7 tho. The plastic of the 5 will make creaky sound
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →Steel series makes some absolutely amazing headsets. I have used hyper x, Corsair, turtle beach, the original ps head set, Logitech, and the one that stood out the most and I have never put down is the steel series arctis nova 7.
r/gamers • View on Reddit →Who needs hotswap batteries when you can buy two Nova 7 and swap them out. Apply the same EQ/profile settings and it's a smooth transition Edit: and it's still cheaper to do it that way than get a Pro with potential issues
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →I got mine at Walmart, see them regularly on sale 115-120, my set was 120 and they've been flawless for ~2yrs. Would gladly get another pair and just hot swap the whole headset
r/steelseries • View on Reddit →No, the microphone works correctly, when I play no one complains about the microphone
r/PlaystationPortal • View on Reddit →I use the steelseries arctis nova 7, while it's not bad...I personally haven't like it, I had hyperx cloud alpha before...they were ok, the volume was very low for some games, I'd probably try the sennheiser epos pc38x or the beyerdynamic mmx 330 pro for good sound quality
r/PhasmophobiaGame • View on Reddit →I have a different model of the Arctis Nova but it's my daily user for PC, PS5, and even my steam deck and phone sometimes when I'm on flights. I just think it's excellent, even if the PC software is challenging to configure.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →The Arctis Nova 7 isn't just way better build quality, it also sounds miles better than that shit especially when you load a custom EQ profile using a PC. It also has comfort Max tech which makes the headset feel great.
r/playstation • View on Reddit →Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven't had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.
r/XboxGamers • View on Reddit →Absolutely loving my Steelseries Arctic Nova 7. Has great battery life, sound quality is amazing, you can turn ambience sound on and off with a simple button if you want to hear outside your headset, it can connect to the ps5 through a dongle and a Bluetooth device at the same time. I play for 8+ hours daily and get 2-3 days on a 20ish minute charge time but I only use it for my ps5, I don't use the Bluetooth so I'd assume using both in tandem would drain battery faster
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I suggest steelseries! They're super durable (if he happens to be a 'rip them off in frustration' type lol) and great quality audio in/out. The Nova ones should be in your price range! Their support team is great, too
r/playstation • View on Reddit →I have the Arctis Nova 7 and there is no RGB. Only light is the microphone being red when you have it muted.
r/buildapc • View on Reddit →Steel Series headsets *are* great. They're making broad generalizations, which are usually right. Gamer branded headsets are usually trash, but steel series is an exception. I've had my nova 7 for years now (2022~) with no sign of wear and tear. If (when) they eventually break I plan on buying another from steel series. The only downside is their proprietary software. It's clunky and filled with dumb apps for a million games I don't even play. Edit: I know the audio quality won't be as good as studio headphones, but I don't care. It's good enough for me, and I play plenty of competitive fps. I like headsets because I don't want a huge mic+stand on my desk. A retractable mic is a must for me.
r/ArcRaiders • View on Reddit →I had the official one and hated it so much I returned it and bought an arctis nova. The SteelSeries headset connects quickly and sounds perfect. I love it. If you can afford the arctis nova 3, it's a worthwhile upgrade.
r/XboxSupport • View on Reddit →I own both. The Nova can connect via bluetooth, the 7P+ cannot. I'm talking phones and what not, you'll need to use the dongle for the console anyway. If you don't plan on using the headset for other stuff than gaming, go for the cheaper 7P+. The Nova is also a bit smaller in terms of cup size vs the 7P+. I have a big head yet both of them are comfortable enough. Battery life is amazing on both, I charge them every 2-3 weeks. I haven't tried the Sony Pulse but I did buy the Sony Gold, which were cheaper but the build quality was way flimsier than a SteelSeries and the battery life was a joke in comparion. Would not recommend Sony for gaming headsets.
