I have the elite and 7p, the pulse I had to replace the cushions after 6 months and when best buy had the 7p on sale I bought me one and they are loud and comfortable and you can use the cable or the Bluetooth connector. 7p are the better

Not sure about that buddy. But 7P+ is using a USB-C dongle which works on my Mac too.

The 7p+ is just a more comfortable headset than the 7p. I have had both before just getting the SteelSeries' Arctis Pro on sale. I would get the 7p+.

7P+ for sure! I have had these for years and they are super comfortable, great battery life, and long lasting. I use them daily and they still look and feel great.

I went with the Arctic 7P+ and it's held me up so long-it still technically works til this day however I regularly use the Pulse Explores just due to the sheer convenience (with an obviously lower sound quality).

Audeze Maxwell - Considered one of the best wireless gaming headsets. Popular with music creators as well as for gaming. Mic is reasonably good, though can clip a little. Comes with leather earpads, but they can be replaced easily. Drop + EPOS PC38X - One of the best wired gaming headsets for sound clarity and mic quality. Bass reproduction is a bit muted, which is common for older style EPOS / Sennheiser headsets, and common with open back headphones in general. The mic is essentially the best of any consumer headset you can buy. Generally can only be bought directly from Drop's site. Comes with both cloth and velour earpads. [https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset](https://drop.com/buy/drop-epos-pc38x-gaming-headset) Steel Series Arctis headsets are generally a decent middle ground in terms of decent bass and mic quality. The overall audio quality isn't as good as either the Maxwell or PC38X, but they're closed back so their bass response is more like the Maxwell. And the mic quality is generally better than the Maxwell, but no where near as good as the PC38X. Most (maybe all?) use cloth earpads. Nova Pro Wireless and Nova 9 are both quite good, with the Nova 9 being slightly better in terms of audio clarity and mic quality, but the Pro Wireless has better bass and noise cancelling.

I bought SS Arctis 7P like 2-3 years ago, use it daily, and they still work like new. EDIT: I guess I had to replace the cushions.

Pulse is fine if it was 100$ otherwise it's overpriced because it has a playstation logo on it. Not talking about build quality which I didn't have am issue with, i have an issue with the price for product thing. Get the 7p+ it's amazing for the mid range

Haven't tried the Arctic Nova 7P, but I have tried the 7P+ and Pulse Elite and 1000% recommend the 7P+. I've been using it for a few years and It's genuinely been fantastic. Holds charge for a long time so I don't really charge it that often and the spacial awareness on it has been great. It's also super comfortable and I haven't had any issues wearing it for 4-6 hours at a time. Having the option to also hear around you is very nice incase you need to multi task. It also helps it's the cheapest option while also, imo being the best!

7p + and the nova 7p are better than Sony's so I'd say go with either one. Money saver would be the 7p + and it's not much of a downgrade compared to the nova 7p. The only thing you really lose with the 7p + is having the newer model mainly. If you wanna save money, do the 7p +, if you want the newer one and spend extra, go nova 7p

Steelseries 7p or 7x probably gonna be your best bet and finding them used will be even cheaper. There are others id recommended but there over 100

What did you get? I got 7p+ and love it. Tried pulse elite because adjusting EQ through PS5 but wasn't worth it. Just returned them after 1 day 😂 they just crackled and disconnected like 5 times per hour. My steelseries haven't done those even once and I've used them much longer.

I have the old 7p+. I like everything about it except charging with the mini usb and they do tend to make my ears ache after a couple hours. I particularly like the backfeed mic so you can hear yourself talk

Just for the price, 7P+. I had em and they are very solid. You can use it for whatever use you need and the battery is amazing. But, if you can go for the Nova... then go for them. Newer, with better software options than 7P... i want to upgrade but, my budget is limited.

I've had the bottom set for about 4 years. The Arctis 7P+ set. I absolutely love it. I'd recommend that one. It's super comfortable for long sessions. The battery lasts forever. The sound is excellent. Works great with 3d audio. The mic is very good too. I use them for music as well as gaming. They sound great plugged into a phone.

100% in agreement, the Pulse Elite, (in my opinion) are horrible. Mine lasted about the same and broke in the same place as others mentioned and I always take care of my belongings and they were always hung up after use. We have the Arctis Nove Pro and the 7p. Definitely get the gen 2 as you can connect them to the mobile app but can't with gen1. They do sound pretty good.

I used the original Playstation Pulse for the last couple years and they were awesome for Siege. Felt like I could hear footsteps and knew exactly where they were coming from. They were starting to breakdown a bit and decided it was time for a new pair. Curiosity got to me and I ended up buying the Steelseries Arctis 7p's which I heard were top notch. You have to download software to get these dialed in to be able to hear what you want to hear. Been a bit of a pain in the ass. Kind of wish I would have just gone with the Playstation Pulse Elites. Grass isn't always greener! If anyone else is using the 7p's and has a good EQ setting for Siege, please let me know!

Audio differences between the Nova and the 7P+ are minimal. I owned the 7P+ before I upgraded to the nova and let me tell you the two major points that I noticed were better. 1: The fabric headband that the 7P+ uses gets stretched out over time and needs replacing, whereas on the Nova you can buy rubber ones and you won't have the same issue. 2: The Novas support simultaneous 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth connections. So you can have it connected to both a PS5 and a phone and hear audio from both simultaneously. There's also the fact that with the 7P+, you have to connect it to your PC to mess with its audio settings and adjust its EQ. I'm told the Gen 2 Novas now have mobile app support. I'd go with Nova

Arc Steel Series is another solid option. I have a wireless one I purchased for $100 two years ago and haven't had a single problem. Crisp, clear audio and super comfortable too.

Agree, I'm on arctis 7p+. Compared to pulse elites (which you could imagine be "the best" for ps5). Arctis is comfortable, metal structure mostly, zero connection issues, low profile usb c dongle that you can put in front side of your ps5. Pulse elite is opposite in all these, garbage. Only downside is having to adjust EQ through pc but that's nothing compared to what else you get.

I own both. The Nova can connect via bluetooth, the 7P+ cannot. I'm talking phones and what not, you'll need to use the dongle for the console anyway. If you don't plan on using the headset for other stuff than gaming, go for the cheaper 7P+. The Nova is also a bit smaller in terms of cup size vs the 7P+. I have a big head yet both of them are comfortable enough. Battery life is amazing on both, I charge them every 2-3 weeks. I haven't tried the Sony Pulse but I did buy the Sony Gold, which were cheaper but the build quality was way flimsier than a SteelSeries and the battery life was a joke in comparion. Would not recommend Sony for gaming headsets.

I have a Steelseries Arctis 7p+ headset that I've been using for like 4 years and I love it. Mostly just use it on my PS5 but it has a 2.4ghz dongle plus you can use an aux cord if you want. Super comfortable too.
