I ran with $35 ($60 brand new) Astro A10s for years and I could hear better than most people I stacked with. Now I use Corsair HS65s and they're great and comfortable

If you're strapped for cash, Astro A10s are a safe bet and can usually be had for like $40.

r/GameStop • Is this headset good or should I splurge for the $25 one? ->

I have the astro A10 gen1 and they're pretty good but the padding on the band have worn out do you think the A50s are worth the money?

I use the a10s and I don't have much of a problem with them. I just tweaked some audio settings on my PS5

Those a10s are fine, it's the gen 2s you need to be careful with since my brother had a pair and they were horrible

That's the gen 1 so no need to worry, the gen 2s look hideous anyway so you can spot them from a mile off 😂 (Google will show exactly what I mean lol)

I had a10s for years back in the day when logitech didn't own astro, they were GREAT. Bought my girl a pair of a10s and not even 2 months they were defective... got a replacement and not even 2 months with that one they were defective. A buddy also got a defective pair. As a a40 user, I would stay away from a10s. Hope this helps.

I was in charge of development of the A10s back in the day, they were pretty much indestructible, had a lot of fun at E3 abusing them in press interviews, Not sure what happened since then since Logi took over, imagine the latter generations got compromised in quality to make more $$

I can vouch for the A10's. Those ear cups are uncomfortable as hell and the audio quality didn't seem up to par.

Agreed. I know about 6 people, including myself, that use the Astro A10s. We've had ours for at least 5 years each and no issues. Input and output is great, comfy and they're built like tanks

I personally really like astros, a10s should be around $60 USD last I checked (they are wired as far as I'm aware tho) but you could always go for the A20s they are wireless and have great sound quality and I think the mic is pretty good, could be wrong since I'm not the one hearing it but I've never had anyone in my games complain about my mic. They should be around $120 USD

Bought a pair of Astro A10s 8 yrs ago, finally kicked the bucket 2 weeks ago, best $100 ive ever spent. My partner bought the Gen 2s last year and they are so awful compared to the 1st Gen. I ended up getting Steel Series Arctis Nova 5

I've had my Astro A10s for several years now with no real complaints. They are wired tho, if that doesn't bother you then hands down best Set for the money

Iv had so many headsets cheap 10$ ones to 350$+ ones and to be honest none compared in comfortability and sound quality to my 50$ Astro A10s. I have Stealth 700 gen 2 rn and before these I had steel series pros and I still think the A10s are better in every way besides the wire.

You're looking at absolute trash. Even on sale those are overpriced for how terrible they are. Literal Temu quality shit sold by third party Chinese sellers on marketplaces like Walmart and Amazon. They're so cheap and priced so high that they can afford to constantly be "on sale" for 50%+ off and send you a second one for "free" if you [leave a positive review](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/cg1y6x/free_gift_from_beexcellent_is_this_for_real/). You are not gonna get anything particularly good with a budget that low, but Astro A10s are decent for $40. Logitech G432 or G435 are pretty good and can regularly be found for around $40 when they're on sale (which they currently are).

My favorite headphones that lasted me the longest and didn't break the bank for XBox were Astro A10s.
