I disagree. My breville does a fabulous job of veggie prep including dice. 10000% worth the splurge.
r/Cooking • what kitchen appliance do you find yourself reaching for most often? ->Yes I have the 16-cup paradice. It rules. It dices, chops, shreds, slices, and does so much more. The slicer is adjustable. It is a game changer. I use it all the time! Makes quick work of complex soups. Then just a quick rinse of the parts, put on drying rack, and done.
r/Cooking • what kitchen appliance do you find yourself reaching for most often? ->You won't regret the Breville. I have the 16C paradice and adore it. You need tons of space for the 2 "armories" of attachments. I have a designated closet shelf.
r/Cooking • what kitchen appliance do you find yourself reaching for most often? ->the breville ones are nice. they're just a bit too bulky.
r/KitchenConfidential • Iso: Food processor recommendations ->I've been liking our breville, and their customer support is top notch
r/BuyItForLife • What food processor should I buy? ->Magimix or Breville make the best 14-16 cup models money can buy imo. You hear the Cuisinart Custom 14 recommended a ton as well and, while its still good, it's a marked step down in just about every way, but it does tend to be a lot cheaper, so that's a good option for bang for your buck.
r/Cooking • Best large food processor ->The oft-recommended Cuisinarts are fine and pretty good value for money, but if you have the budget for it, a Magimix or Breville is *way* better.
r/Cooking • Looking for suggestions on buying a food processor. ->Get a Magimix. Or a Sage (aka Breville). Both are huge upgrades from the Cuisinart tbh
r/cookware • Food Processor for an Expat ->My current processor is a Breville (>5 years) that replaced a Cuisinart that replaced a... Oster(?). The Breville and all its attachments work well, easy to clean (except the feed tube pusher), has *lots* of power. It's my favorite of the three.
r/BuyItForLife • BIFL: Food processors. Which ones actually do what they promise to do? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

I have the largest Breville food processor and it came with a slicing disk that lets me set the thickness. When I use it to make Coleslaw it can hold the entire cabbage so it's much easier and quicker to use. It's also super powerful and fast. Big improvement over the smaller cuisinart I had before.
r/Cooking • Debating whether to get a 14-cup food processor on sale (Breville or Cuisinart) or get a used Cuisinart Pro Classic 7-cup for $50. Hoping for some input. ->After looking at cuisinart and vitamix, I personally have decided to get me a breville paradice 16.
r/Cooking • food processor ->I've got one. I like it for slicing, grating, chopping, making dough, peanut butter, hummus, etc. But for dicing? I personally don't like it. Way, way too hard to clean the dicing attachment compared to the ease of it. If you need to dice.... Idk. 10 pounds of something in one go, it would be nice, but otherwise I'd rather dice by hand. However, you may have different values on the cleaning vs. hand dicing situation. The thing is an absolute beast and I have no complaints about it. I'd buy it again if I had to in a heartbeat and even if you don't end up using it for dicing, it still would likely get plenty of use.
r/Cooking • Anyone have opinions on the Breville Paradice 16 cup? ->yeah unfortunately all the bigger ones use plastic, probably as a cost saving thing too. The good thing is at least its a lot lighter. i got a bigger breville one and a medium sized kenwood one and i kind of don't like the plastic.
r/newzealand • Glass food processor recommendations? ->I have both a cuisinart and a Breville. While both are good, I highly prefer the Breville
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I was amazed at the quality of my Breville food processor. The blades are so much more durable than the cheap one I had previously. And a basic Vitamix blender will not disappoint. But with your budget you'll have to either buy used, or choose between the two

r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I purchased a Paradice during the Black Friday sale. I think the difference is that the Paradice comes with the dicing disk kit and the Sous Chef doesn't? I was most excited about the dicing capabilities. I've only tried dicing once, with onions, and it was a bit of a disaster. I'll try again but for now I can only say it's a fantastic food processor for everything except dicing. To be fair, I think any food processor would have the same issues with dicing. In my case the majority of the onions spread out between the dicing and slicing disks and it was a pain to clean all the parts after.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I have the Paradice 16 with the dicing kit attachment. I disagree with a comment above cleaning the dicing kit. I put it in the dishwasher and comes out clean and looks new. The quad chopper blade is amazing. You only need to pulse for couple of seconds at a time and it will chop things very nicely. I find the 8mm dicer works best for onions and 12mm for tomatoes and cucumber. Best to remove the stem from tomatoes. I have not used the 16mm dicer yet, but I can only see it being used for fruit salads. I have a professional KitchenAid so do all my dough prep kneading etc on that but I have tried hummus following the Breville recipe on the Paradice and it came out very nice.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →After weeks of research reading and watching YouTube videos, I finally purchased the Breville Paradice 16. It's possible to get the version without the dicer, but I got it anyways. This processor has been the best food processor I've ever had. It is so powerful and quiet. I expect to own it for decades. It's very high quality. https://www.breville.com/en-us/product/bfp838
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →We have a Breville. It was expensive, but it's built like a tank and it can cube potatoes, which is awesome.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Amen!! Breville is much better but still has plastic parts as well.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →It doesn't; it's just that it's such an efficient machine! I LOVE it. 😃
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I'm hopefully getting my breville food processor delivered today and I can't wait to use it!
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I love my Breville, it makes the cuisnarts feel like toys. However, it is a bit more than your budget.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Breville's big food processor has been a long time winner for me. It's a beast. So powerful, in fact, that it's easy to overprocess, so you just have to be aware.

r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Ouch! I think I paid about half that price in the US. If I recall, I might have used a discount coupon and got it at the right time. If you can get it at the right price, I'd say it's a good BIFL investment. It's a pleasure to use and easy to clean.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I have a Breville and it's amazing. It's a bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion. I love the cheese grating option and French fry cutter!

r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I have a 16 cup Breville slice and dice. It takes longer to clean it than to use it. I am excited every time I need to pull it out.
