I have creator combo mic. Works brilliantly, but was quite surprised with the internal mic as well. I use it for documenting family holidays etc, where I can't mic up the kids, but the internal recording is surprisingly capable. But it is a lot more work, so the convience of the mic is unbeatable

Hauptsache irgendein Blödsinn schreiben was? Hast du Eins kannst du mitreden? Es ist jetzt schon besser als das DJI Mic.
r/Insta360 • Why is no one talking about the Insta360 wireless mic air?! ->If you are getting the Creator combo, then get another standalone Mic 2. If not, I'd recommend the Mic Mini as the size really makes a difference. Souce: I have both Mic 2 and Mic Mini
r/osmopocket • Will be buying the Osmo Pocket 3, need advice about microphone situation ->Yes there are receivers that you connect to your camera and will receive the audio from the microphone, check for example the DJI mic, it has a receiver that you can connect to your camera so that the video you are recording gets the audio from the microphone and you don't have to sync anything
r/VideoEditing • how does external microphones record audio to video? ->The automatic connection of the DJI mics are so worth it. You can get individual transmitters as well too.
r/osmopocket • Mic Recommendation ->i have the osmo pocket 3 creator combo. before i purchased this, i had the dji mic mini. so now both my partner and I film on the osmo and use one of the dji mini mics. i do see a difference in quality when it comes to Mic 2 vs Mic Mini but it's not much. Def doable
r/osmopocket • Will be buying the Osmo Pocket 3, need advice about microphone situation ->Mic2 has internal memory to record, and 32-bit float (that is important only for professionals). You pay for these with larger size and lower battery life. I bought mic mini and it is decent. The best thing about the battery life and the out of the box good sound quality and small size.
r/osmopocket • DJI Mic 2 or Mini? ->Check a cheap DJI Mic Mini. The Mini 2 costs more but might be useful for having internal battery storage. I use a Mini linked to my phone and the Mic 2 to record second audio for interviews and sync them later. If you just want one mic, DJI might be the cheap and simple solution.
r/Insta360 • What external mic that is good for 360 x4 for vlogging? ->The Mic 2 is awesome. It allows for recording without the camera so it's like a little wireless digital dictaphone (anybody remember dictaphones?) However, the Mic Mini has a smaller imprint so easier to hide. What I did notice with the Mini Mini (I don't know if it works with the Mic 2) is when I used the receiver, it saves each mic on a separate channel. All in all, there's no real difference that I've noticed (32-bit float?) aside from the size and the (in)convenience of the carrying case and charging
r/osmopocket • DJI Mic 2 or Mini? ->DJI mics ARE the cheap option. Honestly I would not go any cheaper than the dji/rode mics.
r/videography • Is DJI Mic 2 worth the price? Should I go with cheaper alternatives? ->DJI Osmo action 4/5, DJI mic 2 with or without lav mic attachment.
r/Cameras • View on Reddit →The dji mic 2 can work wirelessly with newer Sony cameras if you have the dji mic 2 receiver and Sony adapter that released recently. There is no better option for a wireless solution
r/SonyAlpha • View on Reddit →I have mic 2 and I'm going to sell it to buy mini for it battery and size.
r/osmopocket • View on Reddit →You'd need some kind of shotgun mic, and the smallest you'd get is maybe 3-4" long, and you'd need a cage with a cold shoe to mount it on, as well as the mic adapter, and that's going to show up in the shot, especially in 360 mode. For people around a table I'd rely on the built in mics and post processing to remove/reduce background noise. If there just two of you then something like the Boya Mini would work (the receiver is small enough to hide in the stitch line), as would the Mic Mini/Mic 2 with a bracket for the receiver.
r/Insta360 • View on Reddit →i would either try something like a Zoom h2n/h3n on the table or would go for a dji mic/mic mini per person and then record in the device and sync in post.
r/videography • View on Reddit →The DJI mics have a magnet so it's super easy to just tuck it on the inside of your shirt and all you have is a tiny square showing on the outside, it's hardly noticeable and no bigger than if it was an actual lav mic clipped on. No idea why some folks haven't figured it out yet.
r/videography • View on Reddit →I had a shoot the other day where I was having card problems with my main camera, so I pull out my Pocket 3 and dji mic to save the interview. I clipped the dji mic on a stick and boomed it. It turned out great.
r/videography • View on Reddit →Many users say that internal recording isn't important to them because they don't want to do the extra work in connecting the files in post. For me having the ability to access the higher quality recording is everything. Sometimes I use my DJI Mics as a voice recorder just by themselves. So for me that capability is not negotiable. If somehow I tragically lost all my mics right now I probably buy the mic 2 full set back. Because I want the ability to connect to a lavalier. If you know for sure you'll never want to connect to a lavalier then the mic three is the way to go. For me the mic mini is a non-starter because of its lack of internal recording.
r/dji • View on Reddit →You could get 3 DJI mics, pair two to the camera and the third mic to like an iPhone/Android, record your podcast on both the camera and iPhone/Droid, then combine the audio in post production.
r/osmopocket • View on Reddit →Sure thing, here's my GoPro 13 on Bluetooth to Dji mic 2 in my helmet. [Dji mic 2 GoPro 13](https://youtu.be/QY3HmvyuPQ8?feature=shared) [wired lapel mic rode](https://youtu.be/uJpGHs1Tm_k?feature=shared) You can connect the cardo buy the downside to the cardo is it has so much noise cancelation built in even when "off" mode it's tough to hear engine noise , only voice. Side note also when using the media mod your GoPro is no longer waterproof. My GoPro 10 met an early demise in a rainstorm while riding. I have the GoPro 13 & action 4, the action 4 connects to the dji mjc 2 with some 32 bit float mode so it sounds quite good. Here's that example . r/gopro • View on Reddit →I never had the original, but I have the 2 and I love it
r/dji • View on Reddit →DJI mic 2. Much better than the mic on the DJI osmo action 4. When I used a smartphone I didn't use a mic but I'm doing top down faceless with no movement.
r/SmallYoutubers • View on Reddit →Blue Yeti when I'm seated indoors, for portable / wireless lav /outdoor, Rode Wireless. DJI mic is also an excellent choice
r/PartneredYoutube • View on Reddit →Not a fan of 2.8 zooms as they are heavy and expensive Can recommend 20-60 and a third party 35mm or 50mm primes instead. Mic wise can recommend maono wave T5. On par with holyland mark 2 and DJI mics, but a lot cheaper.
r/Lumix • View on Reddit →Actually, DJI just trolling, people have already figured out that you can just plug in a trasnmitter to the back via the USB C port in the mini tripod adapter that comes with the muse and the DJI mic works fine.
r/osmopocket • View on Reddit →Yeah dji 2 has been a really easy audio solution for shoots I just want to ensure has a quick and solid audio signal without many steps. Self charging case is nice too
r/videography • View on Reddit →fantastic all-in-one kit. Even better if you have a Sony camera so you can use the MI shoe adapter and use it without any cables
r/videography • View on Reddit →I use the GoPro 13 with dji mic2 direct. No media mod or receiver. Works well. Here's a comparison I did I have the mic2 and the mic mini, riding on a moped. [dji mic2 GoPro 13 mic mini comparison](https://youtu.be/QY3HmvyuPQ8?feature=shared)
r/gopro • View on Reddit →The store i bought the Osmo at told me the hollyland mics I already had will connect but they couldn't get it to pair. So I had to buy the DJi mic
r/osmopocket • View on Reddit →I use my mic 2 for more professional settings and the mini for my personal vlogs :)
r/osmopocket • View on Reddit →I have the DJI Mic 2, which has internal 32 bit float and the quality is superb. I haven't a lot to compare it to but it's tiny and easy to operate
r/fieldrecording • View on Reddit →Hello friend - if outside id do 5.3k 30 Hyper smooth on Sharpness low Denoise high Color natural ISO 100-800 (sunny day ) ISO 100-1600 (overcast or evening) POV vlog facing you - linear lens POV vlog showing scenery (I like 16:9 superview) Additionally you can choose 8:7 which will lock your lens to "wide", and will give you vertical reframing options (say more horizon or more subject like a person) my personal preference is 16:9. Lmk if I can help further or if you'd like any video links as examples. Audio for vlog external mic isn't required my tip is to use audio mode "voice" within settings, this make a huge difference. I also have a Dji mic 2 which works ok via Bluetooth. I have a media mod but I do not recommend it, it's not waterproof and it's huge and it's just outdated compared to other options. For audio here's an example of my GoPro 13 with NO external mic on voice mode doing a vlog while wearing a motorcycle helmet. r/gopro • View on Reddit →If you're connecting a DJI Mic 2 directly to an iPhone via Bluetooth, use Blackmagic Cam. It's free and compatible. If you plug in the receiver, you can use any app you want.
r/dji • View on Reddit →The cardo and dji mic2 will both connect without a receiver. The downside to the dji is no gain control without media mod or receiver, while the cardo you can control gain in the phone app. 👠I have audio tests on YouTube for cardo and Dji headsets via Bluetooth lmk if you'd like a listen. My personal recommendation is either a media mod with a wired rode lapel mic or the cardo. It's not awful. I found -8 gain to be good with a helmet mic.
r/gopro • View on Reddit →I've been happy with the DJI Mic 2. The 32-bit recording has saved my ass a few times and if you shoot Sony the hot shoe adapter makes for a very clean and easy setup. It just works. I've set them to start recording as soon as I pull them out of the case and that's been great too.
r/videography • View on Reddit →I feel you! The boyfriend just bought me a mic 2 yesterday as an early bday gift.. But, since we're still within the 30 day window, when the 3 becomes available, we'll upgrade.

It was actually fantastic, and connects directly to the fx6 with no issue over the MI shoe. I taped up all the logos and used a wired lav for most of the interviews, then for a couple I just popped it facing inside on jackets or whatever to hide it. You can get away with a lot of different setups with these mics, even with the magnetic mount, you can somewhat easily hide the mic on a t-shirt or apron or something. They work and sound great and the wireless didn't blip or drop out once. This kind of look with a big dumb TX hanging off someone's shirt is operator error and not the fault of the equipment. Even if using the TX without a wired mic, there are many options to hide or otherwise make the mic less obvious.
r/videography • View on Reddit →Hello, I have the DJI mic2 velcro'd inside my helmet next to my mouth , next to my cardo headset. It's just the mic2 transmitter with no receiver. It's not connected wirelessly, I simply sync in post. [GoPro 13 5.3k 60fps dji mic2 motorcycle POV](https://youtu.be/fzDi9DcnvVE?feature=shared) also, here is a video on my camera and helmet mic setup. [helmet mic setup](https://youtu.be/Nycp7BVSdac?feature=shared) Thanks for watching
r/gopro • View on Reddit →agree I personally prefer the DJI mic 2 for the vibration, and bigger button when I use as a remote with the options of a lav mic and internal recording, each have their ups and downs either one you like get the dji mic money well spent
r/dji • View on Reddit →Not many people will recommend a bluetooth mic for motorbike vlogging simply due to the much lower quality than using a traditional wireless mic setup. The DJI MIC 2 has the best quality of any bluetooth mic, but you can still hear a large difference in quality between using it as a bluetooth mic vs wireless mic (tx unit and rx unit plugged into the media mod). For the very best audio quality, people simply record the audio and video separately and sync in post. This allows them to run audio into a high quality digital audio recorder that will have adjustable peak and gain levels allowing for overdrive protection.
r/gopro • View on Reddit →With the dji mic 2 you are very well set, get a bang for a buck (1 tx, 1 rx) and you are future proof. In my opinion: microphones below 100, well maybe more so below 80 Euros really are not good and you might regret buying em sooner or later.
r/videography • View on Reddit →Couple of things going on here. I'm guessing you have an iPhone. You can't use any Bluetooth mic with the stock camera app, that's an Apple thing. Gotta plug them all in. Bluetooth is not a great protocol for receiving high quality audio. You definitely can connect the Mic Mini and Mic 2 via Bluetooth and then record audio using the DJI Fly app, but it's still Bluetooth and it'll probably sound like shit. Plugging it in is the best solution across the board.
r/dji • View on Reddit →I used to have the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 and switched to the DJI Mics and then the DJI Mic 2 because they were much more user-friendly. What bothered me most was that with the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 you needed the PC program or a phone app to change settings and to transfer or convert audio files to the PC, whereas with DJI you get ready-to-use files and can make all the settings on the receiver. I don't know if they improved that point on the Wireless pro. I didn't notice any major difference in the audio quality straight away, but I only use the devices every now and then. I mainly used the devices when I was at events in my village or community, taking photos or videos for clubs, or occasionally recording church services. There I also often used the Sony UX570 voice recorder and connected it to their mixer or microphones if available, and often used the audio track and the DJI Mics as an alternative. I personally don't currently plan on switching to the DJI Mics 3. While I find it interesting that you can use up to four microphones, it's a bit silly for me because I also like to connect lavalier or directional microphones and use a 3.5mm jack input. When I've used the DJI Mics, I usually record the audio into the microphones and then synchronize it with DaVinci Resolve afterward, just to have a bit more flexibility in the sound quality, especially when using musical instruments that push the volume to the limit. I don't do this professionally, but more as a hobby. I use a DJI Pocket 2, Pocket 3, Sony A6500, and occasionally a DJI Action 5, and I usually just film from multiple angles and then edit them together afterwards.
r/videography • View on Reddit →I agree. I think this is more geared toward run and gun content creators and less so film/video professionals. I love my Mic 2 and I use it a ton but it's almost always with a lav mic. I could never just clip it onto a shirt for any paid jobs. It just looks so unprofessional and it's distracting. Who really knows? Afterall DJI arent the first company to come out with a product that makes people think but why?
r/dji • View on Reddit →The Dji mics are literally the ones to get if you are using the pocket....they easily sync and have the high quality audio without the receiver necessary.

Osmo Audio vs Internal was pretty much the same cause it's fairly high fidelity connection. One option you also have is getting the [1 TX + 1 RX single](https://www.adorama.com/djimic3.html?utm_content=pmax&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=5&gad_campaignid=19096191582&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkLii5LS7kQMVT0tHAR3GEhFTEAQYAyABEgJQwPD_BwE) option which comes with the Mic 3 as well as a receiver (but leaves out the additional Mic 3 and charging case). I [got it with the Mic 2](https://youtu.be/f0b6l2S_st0) and it seems like a pretty good deal to save money for those who will only need one mic.
r/dji • View on Reddit →Audio engineer who shoots Leica here 👋🻠DJI mic mini 2 is pretty solid wireless mic solution. It's a little hot sounding though. I think I have mine on -6db for both transmitter and receiver to make it sound so hot. I don't use the Q3. I use the SL cameras
r/Leica • View on Reddit →10 batteries! I love it! To answer your question I can post a video with a Bluetooth mic AND an internally recorded mic , sync's in post. [is this video. this is a GoPro 13 Bluetooth to DJI mic2 inside my helmet.](https://youtu.be/OqJ10oRwViA?feature=shared) [in this video this is GoPro 13 with DJI mic 2 internally 32bit recording](https://youtu.be/jTOD1LIsSq8?feature=shared) You may really only need a mic if you want to narrate while you're running or jogging, but FIRST I do have a FREE tip for you before you buy the mic. On your GoPro 13 it includes a new audio mode called "voice profile" , try changing it to voice profile in the audio settings and go for a jog. See how it sounds. If you're not happy add a DJI mic2 or rode, sure. I like the DJI because I can use it with all my cameras, insta 360, DJI action 5, and GoPro 13. The microphones aren't waterproof, BUT I've never had an issue with sweat or even light rain inside my helmet.
r/gopro • View on Reddit →I personally dont like the way shotgun mics sound for run and gun. They work good for films where a guy is pointing it right where the action is, but for moving around it sounds weird, like listening through a funnel. I use a mix of h1n stereo recorder, stereo lav, and dji mic. The h1n is sensitive to handling noise, thats when the lav comes in. Dji mic is just useful anywhere for its onboard recording
