My almost 9 y/o doesn't care for the scooter, so I have been riding with my 11 y/o. He said he was having a great time when we took them to Jack in the Box to get him tiny tacos. It got me thinking, I might return these for something like the ZT3 Pro. I now want one but with more power, and range, and designed for off-road but I also want my kids to go with me. I might buy them the ZT3 Pro and something with more power and even more range for myself.
r/ElectricScooters • Recommendation for 14yr old daughter - Niu/GoTrax/Hiboy ? ->Ausom dt-2 pro is where my money would go. I'm a current rider of a ZT3 pro and I like it but I need higher performance. Get it for under a stack nowadays
r/ElectricScooters • Scooter for a big guy ->My kid is 7 and rides the Hover-1 journey max (and previously the journey 2.0) with no problem. He can also ride the inmotion climber, but the brake handle is a bit far for him to reach comfortably. The segway zt3 pro is currently on sale for $850, and is a well reviewed off road scooter. It can probably last your kid through college if the battery survives that long. Main thing is with the brake handle is short enough for the kid to comfortably reach. The deck to handlebar height is the second most important consideration. The journey 2.0 was around 38 inches? Quite comfortable for my 7 year old. journey max around 39 inches, and is still quite mangeable. Inmotion climber is around 40 inches so starts getting to the limit for his current height. But he can still ride all three without big issues, and the kids are growing every year so in a year or two, they'll be tall enough to comfortably handle any of the heights. As for the speed, my kid has a good sense of fear, and limited himself to D mode, around 16mph. But he's got enough practice with throttle control now, so he's able to handle S mode on the journey max which goes to 18 or 22 mph depending of if you unlock the top speed.

I have both the ZT3 and Max G2. The G2 feels like a toy after riding the ZT3. I really like the ZT3. It handles well, feels much more stable than the G2, and I like the wider body which makes it much more comfortable to ride. At $850 on sale right now it's a really great deal.
r/ElectricScooters • Overwhelmed on Scooter Choices - Please recommend a specific scooter and why ->Segway ZT3 Pro is on sale rn for 850. You'll be much happier with something made to last and not just made to go super duper fast a few times before it breaks
r/ElectricScooters • Should I invest in this scooter? ->Stay away from the G2! The G2 has some quality issues with the charging port and build quality. The G3 is a beast and it's my new main scooter. ZT3 is good for outdoor, lose terrain and that but lacks the extra battery for example. F3 is okay, but only the charging input where the battery would go is trash in my eyes. So either ZT3 or G3. Both are great scooters.
r/NinebotMAX • Help choosing between Segway Max G2, Max G3, F3, and ZT3 Pro for SF commuting ->The Zt3 pro is on a complete other Level than the G2max. The Zt3 has bigger better Offroad Wheels, better Suspension and much more Power. No question get the Zt3
r/ElectricScooters • Overwhelmed on Scooter Choices - Please recommend a specific scooter and why ->Trust me, in Ninebot you will sometimes tighten the bolts, and in other brands you will change the controllers and batteries))) For the 3rd generation of Ninebot European versions, there are boards for unlocking speeds up to 40 km/h, and after some time, free firmware will appear. If you need speed and power, take the G3, if something is lighter and more compact, then the E3. F3 and ZT3 are intermediate options.
r/ElectricScooters • Which electric scooter with low maintenance? ->My son has an F3 and it's been great so far. I liked his enough to buy a ZT3 Pro for myself.
r/ElectricScooters • Just bought a Segway Ninebot E2 Pro, turns out that was the wrong choice ->ZT3 Pro all day, it's faster, better range. The Niu is a great scooter but you'll want something with more power eventually because you'll hit that 20MPH limit really quick.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →The ZT3 pro range is lower than the max G3 range. It will get like 18 miles at 25mph, max. If that is fine, it is a great scooter.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →Zt3. I have the max g3 and it's nice, but the zt3 allows more off-roading with the ride height. Actually I have both of them in the back of the work truck right now lol
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →No idea about 90% of the scooters you've posted, but have a deep expertise in Segway ZT3 PRO )) Tested it recently for two days. Powerful (nope, very powerful for its segment), and the suspension is good, but lacks the range + brakes could be much better. You're welcome to check test results in YT https://youtu.be/_aSlRDk05MI. Make sure to check also the description, there are some extra insides that I couldn't include into the video itself.

r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →Max G3 should still be fine for your weight, zt3 a bit more chunky too which isnt as good if you take the scooter in places. I would probably go for G3 also unless ZT3 was cheaper.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →Depende que tipo de ride quieres. El ZT3 Pro es una bestia en comparación del bebe MaxG2. Yo prefiero el ZT3.
r/NinebotMAX • View on Reddit →You shouldn't be draining your scooter battery before charging. Just charge it as needed. Keep it fully charged all the time if you're using it daily. (edit: you might like the ZT3 Pro. It will get around 18 miles of range at 25mph) It's a decent size scooter, so be aware of that.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →The ZT3 pro will not be enough to meet your taste if you just came from a motorcycle. For $3k you can get a base edition Burn-E2. Big scooter with plush suspension. I have 5400 trouble free miles on mine. The RS lite is in the same category, both are an excellent choice. Max version Burn-E2 and regular RS are the faster versions of these 2. This is a ZT3 Pro (middle) next to my base edition Burn-E2 https://preview.redd.it/4bpom62ilm9f1.jpeg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eba6214ed7ecd0637db76f2f92894530e1a34441
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →I got a Segway ZT3 pro for $535+tax through Amazon during prime deals day, you could probably expect the same during black Friday. The scooter itself was on sale for $850 and they were giving bonus % off of warehouse. In this case it was 35% off a "used - like new" one once the warehouse items adjusted to the sale price. Usually takes about a day. Most used like new are not returns but rather just damaged boxes. When mine came the box was indeed pretty fucked up looking but the scooter was pristine and unused. Can't be happier with the deal I got.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →The Max G2 or ZT3 pro if you can find them for under $800. Both have surprisingly tall handlebars, measured from the deck. Should be more than suitable for your height. There's not many scooters that have taller handlebars, let alone in this price range
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →Scooters are not much more or any significant difference of maintenance required. 4 miles each way is very doable. I start to cut the commute of 10 miles each way as a cap for me. If your streets are newer or in pretty good condition then the ride is so much less fatigued with added distance. Im going to recommend a ninebot g3 or a ninebot zt3. Their water ratings are good.

r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →then unfortunately you have to let it go. You will hardly get anything under this weight. There is a V-max VX8 that weighs 15kg, but has no springs and costs 1800 euros. But whether it's 15 or 19 kg makes little difference. If you can't wear one because of the injury then unfortunately it won't work. I myself have a G3 and ZT3 that weighs almost 30kg. But I don't have to carry it, I have an elevator
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →I got the Segway ZT3 pro and I'm around 315 currently. Haven't had any issues so far. It's over the 265lb limit advertised but that's dynamic load and i don't go hopping curbs or jumping the thing I just cruise.
r/ElectricScooters • View on Reddit →Kinda agree. I have ZT3 and an F3 Pro alongside my G2 at the moment, and the feel of the G2 has them beat too. The F3 looks great (very sleek design) and despite having similar dimensions to G2 has very different steering geometry (probably safer at higher speed but also feels less nimble) and the overall suspension is more firm. The ZT3 just feels like a bigger scooter. Each of them is a great scooter - but the G2 feels better.
r/NinebotMAX • View on Reddit →What was the temp when you were riding not the low or the feel like wind chill but the real temperature at that time? Either way sounds like your battery is dead, on Wednesday I went out when it was around 28-30f did 15 miles on my Max G30 and had 25% left. My Max is over 5 years old 5000 miles. The ZT3 has the same battery as the G3 but the frame is more robust for heavier riders someone posted a pic comparing the rear of the frame was at least 2x the thickness on the ZT3. GT3 is not worth it battery is too small for the price, if you want GT3 get the Pro though it cost a bit.
