Okay as an multiple owner of the Kukirin G2 max + G3 pro and now I have 2 (not 1) G4 and I can tell you that the G4 (for me and my riding style) that the G4 is the best! The dual motors scooters, and the batteries do not last as long as the G4! So let's start with the quality, the quality is made very very well, just recently I was on a bike trail and about 50 kids were on the trail also heading towards me, well of course one of them wasn't paying attention and crashed their Bixie bike head on into my scooter... Not a dent not a scratch and not a wobble after it happened and he hit me pretty hard! The folding mechanism is double locked, so there is no way that that thing's going to collapse no way in hell... The suspension on it is perfect and I'm a pretty heavy guy.. the dual motor scooters have great take off yes and can ride up the hill no problem, but man do you take a hit on the battery and distance of riding... Now with you going up many Hills and whatnot of course the battery will take a hit on any scooter.. Hills and wind and weight are against you no matter what scooter 🛴 you ride.. going up hills with the G4 has never been a problem for me and I've been up some pretty steep hills, yes of course the scooter will slow down a bit but not enough to make it a problem, now as for the speed it's very fast I've gotten it up to 75 km no problem and like I said I'm a pretty heavy guy my buddy who bought the same scooter managed to get it up to 78 km an hour... So normally for easy riding I set it into second gear and set that to 30 km an hour and that'll last me 4 hours (taking breaks here and there) and about 60 something kilometers distance possibly more.... What I'm most impressed about is the distance I can ride on this thing.. it boggles my mind! Then they'll be days that I push the scooter pretty hard and ride pretty fast and it handles it like a champ... Obviously the distance will take a hit like any scooter... But one of the things that I noticed is with the dual motors like the G3 pro the battery life isn't that great! I ended up selling it to a co-worker and keeping the G4... If the battery and distance would have been better than probably I would have kept the G3 pro... The only complaint that I have about these scooters is the charging time...10 to 12 hours is a hell of a long time.. so going out and then charging it while you're out and about is not really realistic... If these things could charge faster like half way in about 4 hours then that would be fantastic... Or I wish you could hot swap batteries on the G4... That would be a game changer. The price of the G4 and the quality you get is without a doubt amazing... I'm highly highly confident that you would be happy with the G4 and it would suit your needs

Dual motors > single motor always! The kurin G3 pro is just slightly overpriced.decent scooter but it's running 52v for $1300. https://www.yumescooter.com/collections/commuter-scooter/products/hawk I'd reccomend the hawk instead. The tires are slightly bigger, suspension is adjustable and bouncy, it's running 60v 22.a battery so the scooter has more torque and can actually hit top speed of 43mph or more on a flat surface.( I hit 49 before) I could still reach top speed with ~55% battery. It's got lights all around, brighter more visible display as well. Slightly cheaper than the G3 pro too

We're up past 200km already lol. We have a great trail system in our city so they're great to get around, tons of fun. Just this weekend we took them to some tame mountain biking trails and they ripped through there, it's on one of our favorite routes so we're definitely going back. There's definitely some other good ones in its price class from other brands, but this was my favorite out of what I found. I've heard mixed things about KUKIRIN but build quality seems really good, it was packaged really well (double boxed), shipped fast, and kukirin has warehouses in Canada to keep parts. Overall, we're super happy with them. Of course time will tell the true story of how good of a purchase it is, but my initial thoughts (in no particular order) are: EDIT: Brakes were a bit lackluster out of the box but after adjusting they are pretty good. I see why people like hydraulic brakes, but I'm happy with these for now. They won't be my first upgrade. 1. You really don't need much more power than this. The thing is crazy. It'll go (what I consider to be) scary fast and climb anything, the dual motors are something else. 2. Super happy with the battery so far. I've planned my routes at 35 km or less and been fine riding at 20-30 kph. 3. I read the specs, but it's a bit bigger and heavier than I expected. Manageable, but considerable. Stairs are a bit of a pain. 4. Suspension is a bit more stiff than I was expecting. Going to find the tool to loosen it up a bit, hopefully that results in some more travel. I'm 175lbs, maybe 185 loaded up. 5. The light points up at people's eyes but you can just grab the bracket and bend it down. 6. The handlebars are just narrow enough to fit through doorways and I appreciate that lol. 7. Honestly I think deck could be a bit bigger. It's not uncomfortable, but it requires a certain foot placement. 8. Tires are sweet, the off-road trails we did had packed dirt, some gravel sections, leaves, and some sections with roots. They're fairly quiet on the asphalt too. 9. The stem latch is very sturdy, It doesn't wiggle at all and I'm not initially concerned about it failing. 10. The chargers feel a tiny bit cheap compared to what I would expect from a scooter with this price tag, but it seems like it's a trend through most brands so it may be hard to avoid. I haven't had any and don't foresee any issues. 11. We're both around 5'10" and we don't have issues with height, but if I was 6'2" or taller I might not consider this scooter.

We don't have a problem with people who understand this part of the bargain - I should know, as I'm one of them - we're just pissed at those who buy with no understanding of anything and often without having done a whit of research, then come here to complain that their parts-bin scooter needs some basic repair they don't know how to perform.

For the price it's okay if you do maintenance and take care of them they can last. I am on my 5th scooter I have owned being a disabled vet on a budget I always tried to get the most I could get for the least I could spend. I was due for a new ride so this time I decided I was going to save a little while longer And after owning a Kugoo a Kukrin and Emanba and an Arwibon which all lasted okay. But this time I saved a little bit more money and picked up a Teverun Fighter Mini Pro and damn I wish I had taken all the money from the other scooters and picked up a scooter like this before. The build quality and ride just everything in general is a completely different thing. My last scooter was actually a little faster but the quality of the ride makes it just feels so much safer at higher speeds.ibam not saying spend the $2k I spent on them is one there are other models like Blade mini pro and ultra that are basically the same scooter just without a few bells and whistles like built in GPS. It was the first Teverun I had ever road and even being a 10 inch it actually feels more like a solid motorcycle ride then a cheaper scooter with the KKE ajustable shocks. The Joyer is okay but honestly if your going to spend the around $800 if I remember correctly save for a few more months over the winter if you can you up to the $1200-1500 level you can get a scooter that is literally twice the quality. I look at this way in all the AliExpress scooters i bought after 1.5-2 years you end up needing to replace the battery and they usually start looking a little ruff I was told buy a couple other guys that have this scooter and a similar one that the Samsung battery in there's was going on 3 years with almost no voltage sag. Just my opinion not putting anyone's scooters down I loved my Arwibon GT08 but honestly I didn't know what I was missing. That's just my experience spending a ton of money on scooters over the years. https://preview.redd.it/za7vy67ga6rf1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fe1df032e485b2245d218bf817dfdf1503822e7

Lol 98% of scooter are made in China the other 2% are made in Korea or Japan with Chinese parts. literally pretty much all scooters or there parts are made there. Even the top brands like Dualtron, Nami, Taverun even Segway. I have owned 5 scooters over the past few years even built my own but still the most reasonable place to get parts is AliExpress and Alibaba. And when you look at sites like Amazon, Walmart, Best buy they have the same scooters and parts sold on AliExpress for 40 to 100% more money. I do tell people if they can afford to spend the extra money which most of us can't search for the scooter your looking for on the Walmart site or app and get it there(they sell the same scooters as AliExpress because they buy wholesale from Alibaba)you wouldn't think so the even sell my GT08 on the Walmart site for $300 more then AliExpress but they give you the option of buying the extended warranty. That's the only advantage to buying in the more expensive site. As a matter of fact even know I buy my scooters off of AliExpress when my last one shipped it didn't ship from china it shipped from an Amazon fulfillment center in California I assume that Arwibon probably has a deal with Amazon to save money it was even the same when I bought my X6 Pro and my Kugoo G3 pro were all sold in China and shipped from US warehouses. Let us know but I get you don't find 5 scooter that aren't made in China or made elsewhere with all Chinese parts except possibly the batteries

had the g3 for a while, it's good for 45kmh and about 40~ km of range. kukirin has nice quality, maybe check the g2 master, it's way better. about the g3: if the roads you're riding have big holes and bump then it's not perfect but it'll do. it has coil suspension upfront and in the back. rough ride on rough roads but overall smooth power and safety.

Anything name brand under $500 will basically be a commuter scooter with no suspension, Kukirin really is the only recognizable entry level scooters that go over 20MPH and actually has a suspension. Your kid is going to have to lower his expectations or you're going to have to raise your budget and comfort level with faster scooters if you want to find a happy medium.

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks. I get no less than 20 miles with a mixture of dual and single motor, mostly in gear two occasionally use gear 3. Anyway, I don't live in an area with tons of hills or inclines, although most of our roads aren't flat or level. I do have a 24° incline on my way home, and all my rides include that incline twice. There are also a couple of 30° inclines. My Kukirin G3 Pro will continue speeding up while climbing the hills/inclines I've thrown at it, even able to go up the 24° in single and gain speed all be it slowly going up and slows slightly 1-2mph at ~30% in gear 2 it does struggle going up 30° inclines without being in dual motor but easily keeps it's speed solid going up. Now I've not come across an incline where I felt I needed max gear as dual usually covers it, and I'm lazy, and there's not a lot of travel in the throttle, so I keep it in gear 2 unless I'm on a 40mph road. So yeah, I'd recommend the Kukirin G3 Pro. The acceration is mad, I don't know what it costs in your region, but converting what I paid is $2,144.76, but that would also include the UKs crazy VAT

G3 pro is a dual 1200w scooter with removable battery, more solid build with hydraulic brakes. It Comes with 10 inch tubed tyres as oposed to 11 inch tubeless on G4. (Maybe its only downside). Teewing also has the same scooter GT4 with somewhat better battery cells and 2400w motor and slightly higher price point if you're interested.

We constantly tell people to get brand-name scooters instead of knockoffs and parts-bins, but while for low-tier scooters this is often understood, mid- to high-tier scooters have the problem that brand-name stuff gets really expensive. This prompts a lot of people to get, say, Kukirins instead of Dualtrons. Our stance about those tends to be that they might be decent value for money, but only on the condition that the user can do maintenance and fixes. If nothing else, mid-tier generics and near-generics tend to be *somewhat* better built than [the *real* cheapies](https://reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/1gtbsr2/cheap_m365_knockoffs_currently_being_discounted/), so we don't feel so alarmed about them. There's not a lot more that we can do; markets have their trends, and the push toward the bottom has existed in every product line ever. That's how cheap products even exist at all, though of course there's almost always a compromise in quality. Some people get this and accept the tradeoff; some get it and decide for a higher quality scooter; others don't get it at all and then complain that their Kukirin has a bolt loose and they don't know how to screw it back in.

Don't listen to other people, your girlfriend wants to get you a gift to be happy and help you out, she thought she did but it just didn't fit the purpose so just return it & go for something with dual motor (pretty essential for hills) remember that the advertised range on scooters are in ideal conditions (eco mode on near perfect flat ground), I'm sure others will have more of a range of choices but I've got the kukurin g3 pro and it is great, gets me up steep hills at a good pace (same as cars tbf, in a city/outskirts) and has great range

had it for over 400km until now, and for it's good, it's just allowed in the weight limit in my country (30~kg) if you plan on riding hard and you want speed go not be a problem to traffic incase you're riding in the road then go with the g2 master or g3 pro or something in that area, they have some that are compatible with weight limit, also, check if the weight limit is enforced by customs. if it's not I believe you could just order it but if it's gets to a situation where officials weigh it (maybe if registering it?) then it'll be a problem. if those laws concern you, make sure to check the laws about watt, weight, motor (dual or single) maybe volt limit? I learnt that some places do have those limitings, I can't order a g2 master because it's dual motor:/
