I just bought my daughter a Nui kqi 100p. I have ridin it, and I am impressed by the power it has for its weight. I also have a kukirin g2 master and it would be too heavy for your needs. I've come across a few reuter branded scooters but this is the one I would personally avoid... The geometry isn't giving me great vibes... And if speed wobble is known to be an issue, especially at 30mph when it's rated for 50mph, then I'd definitely look elsewhere... As I said there are a few other reuter escooters that do look quite good but I would suggest looking elsewhere. Kukirins are currently one of the better value scooter brands. G2 master /g4 or g4 Pro/max There is an Australian based escooter seller but they do seem very expensive. Called escootsnow. If you find a reputable seller on alibaba you could save a ton but it's imperative you do your research.

We constantly tell people to get brand-name scooters instead of knockoffs and parts-bins, but while for low-tier scooters this is often understood, mid- to high-tier scooters have the problem that brand-name stuff gets really expensive. This prompts a lot of people to get, say, Kukirins instead of Dualtrons. Our stance about those tends to be that they might be decent value for money, but only on the condition that the user can do maintenance and fixes. If nothing else, mid-tier generics and near-generics tend to be *somewhat* better built than [the *real* cheapies](https://reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/1gtbsr2/cheap_m365_knockoffs_currently_being_discounted/), so we don't feel so alarmed about them. There's not a lot more that we can do; markets have their trends, and the push toward the bottom has existed in every product line ever. That's how cheap products even exist at all, though of course there's almost always a compromise in quality. Some people get this and accept the tradeoff; some get it and decide for a higher quality scooter; others don't get it at all and then complain that their Kukirin has a bolt loose and they don't know how to screw it back in.

Mines great have to say, no idea why ive been downvoted lmao i have nothing bad to say about them. Its my first scooter and ive had Zero issues, did everything i wanted it to and more tbh. Build quality is good, display is nice, might be mechanical brakes but it stops well, dual motors is quick for what it is, lights are great. I think for the money they're pretty hard to beat tbh

Wouldn't recommend the G4 as your first, simply because it's so freakin' *huge*. If what you need is a comfortable long-range cruiser you don't have to roll into stores or bring up staircases then it's one of the best around, but in every other case and for generic urban use something like a G2 Master would be a much better choice.

They guarantee Kukirin for half or a quarter as long. With normal brands, you can find scooters that have done 10,000 km and only cost two tyre changes. You don't have to keep it alive with constant repairs.

Another one talking trash about kukirin needlessly I have yet to have an issue with my g2 master and have about 400 miles on it All bolts are tight, I stick to streets and it's been great I feel all the negativity you hear about them is from people thinking they can receive it, hop on and just ride and drive it hard af off road Why wouldn't you check the bolts of ANYTHING that can go that fast beforehand I could be speaking prematurely but in my opinion so far, kids destroy them and then their parents complain about how they suck

Just as long as you know the tradeoffs and are prepared to maintain and fix it yourself. We don't have a problem with people who understand this part of the bargain - I should know, as I'm one of them - we're just pissed at those who buy with no understanding of anything and often without having done a whit of research, then come here to complain that their parts-bin scooter needs some basic repair they don't know how to perform.

Isn't the KQI a pretty good one with decent speed and build? NIU gives me the impression that its a higher quality brand than Kukirin (who can't even get their naming right, Kukirin vs Kugoo Kirin, Kugoo). keep in mind there is no app for Kukirin so you aren't gonna get any OTA updates. I got a Kukirin G2 Max. The display died before even 1000km. The company sent me a new one but not before doing some tests, like reseating the connections. But the worst part was they made me open up the scooter which meant ripping up some of that rubber mat and then they wanted me to check the voltage on the battery and charger. I'm half handy so I was willing to do this, but WTF? You want a customer to check voltage with a multimeter? When I checked the charger it gave me a HUGE spark. Naw fk that. I enjoy the scooter but, the design decisions are weird. I bought new shocks so I disassembled the front. And to my surprise the bolt and the nut on the front axle don't use the same size socket! In a sense it meant that I could use a socket wrench on both sides when tightening/loosening the nut but its just weird. It made it feel like its put together with whatever parts they could find. Not sure if other scooters are like that? G2 Master would just rip with those motors. too fast for me to be comfortable on those tiny wheels.

Yeah definitely it's just that kukirins are allergic to rain and high pressure water so be careful with those and they should treat you well. Remember to wear proper safety gear when you get one

Well it would be a very bad "Investment", because like every scooter it loses most of it's value as soon as you take it out if the box 🤓🤓🤓 But it's a good scooter, especially for the price and you should go for it if you have the money. The G2 Master is cool and you'll have a lot of fun with it. The DT2 pro and L2 Max are also good competition.

I personally own a Kukirin G2 Master. After about 400 miles, I started to notice some stem wobble. By 800 miles, the wobble had become a genuine safety hazard, so I took it to a shop. They discovered that the metal in the stem was completely worn down. Once the worn part was replaced, the scooter worked as good as new. I'm guessing the stem wore down because I took the scooter out on trails every now and then (prob rode 80 miles total on semi rough terrain), but I'm not entirely sure. Aside from the stem wobble issue, I have nothing bad to say about the G2. For $1000, it's an incredible deal-it has a top speed of 40+ MPH, 25+ Miles of Range, decent acceleration and torque, and a good suspension.

For the price you should check out the Ausom L1 or KuKirin G2! I'd say the L1 has a better frame, better headlight, louder horn and more features such as NFC card locking. The G2 on the other hand is more popular and has better brakes. They're both very good value and have the same exact power, speed and battery capacity. Have fun!

I think the frame is probably higher quality than the G4, but I don't think it's better than the G2 Master. I also don't like the type of folding mechanism that the joyors have (it can get a bit loose over time). But the Joyor T10 also has some pretty big advantages compared to the G2 Master. It's 60v, has hydraulic brakes and it's like 200€/$ cheaper than the G2 Master. Joyor is less popular than KuKirin, and this model is very new so there isn't many reports on how good it is and especially how long it lasts. So you can either save money and get something that's a bit better in some ways and a little bit worse than the G2 Master, or get the more popular one just because we already now it's fine. Also If you are spending G2 Master or G4 money on a scooter you should also look into the "Ausom DT2 pro", which should be better than all 3 of those at a similar price to the G4, or the "Ausom L2 Max Dual Motor" which is a bit slower than the G2 Master but it's also cheaper and like the Joyor better in some ways and worse in some other small ways.

I would look at the Kukirin G2 Master. That thing is about the best scooter you'll get for the money. I just spent weeks researching this myself on the same budget and got it last week. I've been very happy with it so far. It was $1,079 USD shipped to my door. For that, you get 2x 1000w motors, a 20.8 AH battery that they claim can go 43 mi but would probably be closer to half that if you drive in dual motor mode and go fast. Speaking of fast, it does 37 mph. It's a serious scooter--a vehicle, not a toy. So you definitely want to gear up when you're riding something like this. Good luck! I'm actually a 40-year-old guy who can't see well enough to get my driver's license so I get around my small town using my scooter as my primary means of transportation.

The kukirins are great, I have the G2 and I love it. The G3 got a facelift model recently, so idk if it's a good scooter now, because the old version wasn't great as far as I know. G2 Max is also very good, but it's larger. Please take in to consideration the weight of the scooter , especially if you climb stairs every day. Also how much do you weight and do you climb hills on your commute?
