I went with Redtiger F7N and skipped 70Mai. I needed an external rear powerful camera cause 70Mai goes inside the rear window and doesn't provide clear view in rains. Using it for 2 years and the customer support is fabulous too.

r/Camry • What dashcam are you running on your Camry? ->I'd also highly recommend the redtiger rear and front dash cam on Amazon, on sale for 85$ I believe, the customer service is rlly good and they sent me free replacement adhesive cuz I fucked up the first one as well as a longer usb c cable and a hardwire kit when I decided to go in that direction. I downloaded the vids and they were both really clear and I can make out license plate easily. Not affiliated but just thought the product was good, I installed one in my dad's car as well.

Found it on a bit of a sale and swooped given I only got my vehicle a few weeks back. The resolution is good not great, but an improvement over my previous dash cam. Biggest thing I was looking for in this dash cam purchase (other than a slight improvement in resolution) was a suction cup mount. So it was between the Redtiger and the Rove R2 4k Pro. I have it mounted central on the windshield and honestly just have the wire dangling down to connect to the glove box 12v - I don't mind at all and does not obstruct the passenger at all. It's maybe ~12in of wire hanging down. Sorry can't offer much advice on how the process of going through the headliner will be for the rest cam.

The video viewer shows location on map, 3 axis acceleration, speed, and location, and multi camera synchronization (front and rear). It has the resolution to read license plates at close range in good light. Speed, location, date and time is imbedded in video.

It's not just dash cams though, building CCTV will do a lot more for you than just a dashcam if you park in the same place all the time and establish patterns in how and where you park. I could prove to the day when and how I was hit with a building cam, dashcam didn't have footage back far enough.

There are some great 4k cameras out there with Bluetooth capabilities. Viofo has some great cameras that get amazing reviews, but they are expensive. For more budget conscious individuals REDTIGER F7NP is a great option as well that has wireless, but it's not Bluetooth. We have them installed on all of our vehicles.

Great price, easy to wire up, good in all lighting, crisp audio, sees plates clearly, auto loops recording. One gripe i have is that Audi Connect and the camera will fight for WiFi -- you can only be on one or the other. Extracting videos when in the car isn't the best, but i think this is a common problem for most wifi based dash cams.

r/dashcams • View on Reddit →That's good one too. I personally have and "biased" but I recommend the REDTIGER F17 4K 3 channel dash cam. Also you can get the F7N dash cam by REDTIGER. Both are incredible and has an app and easy UI. the one thing I'd recommended if you get them is instead of using the sticky mount that comes with it for the front camera order the suction cup mount instead. Also it's sold by REDTIGER. Price points all of 120$-200$ and sales all the time on Amazon

I bought a red tiger front cam only for my jeep. No where to stick a rear camera on the soft top. The front and rear ones were around 130, the front only was 80. Have zero complaints

r/CalPolyPomona • View on Reddit →I have the F7N-PLUS in my 2014 DCLB. Paired with the Dongar rear view mirror power adapter. Fits nice behind the passenger side of my rear view mirror, and ran the rear cam wire along the driver's side to the back. Rear camera sits in the corner above the rear passenger seat on the driver's side. There's some extra wire that I just have sitting behind the passenger seat though; it's fairly long. I've only pulled video from it once, using the built in wifi to my phone. Quality looked fine, early dusk for timing, but was crisp and bright on my phone. One downside is the built in wifi is slow... It was a 500MB file though so maybe that's part of the slowness. Easily 5min download, so might be better pulling the card and retrieving video on your pc/laptop instead. I'd recommend getting their 3M Gps mount though, or ~~but~~ buy some 3M tape pads and cut to fit the suction mount. I did the latter. Didn't want to chance the suction cup losing grip in our cold weather in Alberta. Edit: spelling. And the 3M Gps mount was around $20 extra if interested. 3M tape pads was only about $10.

r/porsche911 • View on Reddit →Front and rear...just in case some slams into the back of you. We have a hatchback and still put in the rear cam. We got the extra cable to put in so it can record in parking mode, too. I think, all up, with the extra mini SD card and cable, it was about $130...but it's worth it. The dual cam package was about $80 on sale. It's a RedTiger brand, and we haven't had any problems with it. Clear images, too. ETA: We also got one of the cables that monitor battery/voltage usage while it's parked, that way it shuts off if the power gets too low. They say to get one that overrides on the SD card when it gets full. Ours is supposed to do that, but for some reason it doesn't, but because we had to install an app on the phone, we just delete the files off of the phone (if we don't need them for insurance purposes.) We do that weekly. We've had way too many close calls to not have one. If you can't decide whether or not you should get one, check out r/IdiotsInCars \-- watch a few of those dash cam videos.
